Dravach - April 13, 2006 08:46 AM (GMT)
Dravach took a deep swig of rum (his favourite alchoholic drink) and settled down on a stool. He couldn't help grin to himself as he watched a drunken Dwarf pick a fight with an Ogre, and a foolhardy boy pickpocketing the bartender himself. He loved nights like these, they made him feel warm and at home. The chaos around him brought his mind order. He gulped down his mouthful and clunked his glass back onto the counter.

The fight between the Dwarf and the Ogre seemed to have been settled, as the Dwarf was nowhere to be seen and there was a dwarf-sized hole in one of the windows. Dravach chuckled as he saw the Ogre do some kind of exotic war dance to acknowledge his victory, but seeing as he was incredibley drunk he collapsed onto the floor half way through it. As a small crowd of various creatures gathered around him, Dravach assumed he was unconcious and turned his attention back to his drink.

He could here footsteps behind him, and they were sounding nearer and nearer. Dravach glanced over to the person who had just filled the empty stool next to him.

thorgrim - April 13, 2006 09:04 AM (GMT)
Thorgrim looked at davarach from the stool opposite.
"greetings what would your name be my friend" thorgrim said respectfuly he looked at the occupants of the bar "I see why your here then" he smiled wickedly.
"a good place indeed..." he looked distracted then turned to the bar man
"ale" he told the bartender. and turned to the davarach and sensed the unbalance in his head
One of chaos..? He thought to him self quitly as he raised his glass to his lips and drank deeply.

Dravach - April 13, 2006 09:21 AM (GMT)
Dravach smiled and said to the Archlich, "Good drink and good entertainment! What more could you want?" he said as he motioned towards the Ogre on the floor. Dravach had never seen this man in the bar before, in fact, he did not recognise him from anywhere. As much as he liked to meet new people, there was something strange about this creature, something he could not place. Suddenly, without warning he sneezed all over his half full glass of rum. Dravach hurridly got out a ragged tissue and cleaned his nose, then glass.

"I don't think I'll be having anymore of this now."
He said staring in disgust at the added ingredients to his rum, "I'll have what he's having." He spoke to the bartender as he pushed the rum as far away from himself as possible. Did his cold have to play up on him right now? It frustrated him that he kept sneezing over things (completely ruining them) wherever he went! He sighed to himself and waited for his ale to arrive.

thorgrim - April 13, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
(sorry i dont write much im not very good at this yet)
he saw Dravach's frustration at sneezing in his rum
"Ahh well i suck souls so we all have our faults i suppose eh ?"
he says as he pays for his new friends drink.
he watches as the ogre regains consiousness and strangles the man who was
tring to help it up
"fine entertainment indeed" he said impressed that the man kicked the ogre in the shins trying to break his grip on his throat coughing with lack of oxygen .
"so" he said "is the ogre hired or is this just a fluke ?" as the ogre began to juggle the man like a rag doll.

Dravach - April 13, 2006 11:12 AM (GMT)

You get better with experience and practice, don't worry.

"The Ogre? He comes and goes really, but always gets in a fight with someone. I wouldn’t start picking fights with him; there is more to him than meets the eye…” Dravach said as the Ogre seemed to start chewing at the man, just like a dog would chew at a bone. There was something very strange about the situation they were in, something not quite right. Maybe it was the way that the people on the table behind him were speaking in whispers, evidently watching them, maybe the bartender’s twitching eye. Maybe it was the silent shifting of the many shadows around the walls of the inn. Maybe it was the suspicious gleam of wickedness in the Ogre’s eyes.

But Dravach shoved these feelings to one side of him and ignored them. This was Kaima inn! What else could you come to expect? He focused his attention onto his drink again and opened his mouth to thank Thorgrim for paying for it. “You didn’t have to pay for it you know, but thanks all the same.” He said, without making eye contact. So now there was free entertainment and a free drink also?! Dravach wondered what else he could squeeze out of this man for free.

thorgrim - April 13, 2006 03:12 PM (GMT)
thorgrim smiled asnd said "enjoy your drink.....its the last thing you're getting off me for free." he smiled, not noticing the strange occurances and enjoying his drink.
"so anyway my friend theres somthing about you...your not quit a human are you..." he smiles again and finishes his drink.
"mind neither am i as you can tell" he added.

"So you wanna see an ogre dance ?" he asked as he ordered a second drink.he didn't care the way the bartender moodly agreed to serve him."i have ways of making ogres dance..quit interesting really" and he took a swig from his ale again.
he wasn't a big drinker and soon would start slurring his words and would eventualy wake up on the floor with out a single memory of the night before.

Every night he would take in the sights the sounds and smells of many things and enjoyed them as much as he could as it was unlikely he would remember any of it the next day for he was an alcoholic archlich and many of his kind disliked the fact and resented him for it deeply but he didn't care about them his death was his own.

Dravach - April 14, 2006 07:35 PM (GMT)
Dravach rested his emptying glass on the counter and leaned back on his stool, shifting his body to face Thorgrim. The air smelt strongly of dust and alcohol and it desperately needed a clean. He could see an open window out of the corner of his eye with some kind of lupine creature outside of it searching for the moon. His eyes got drawn towards the moon but then were distracted by a tough looking demon enter the Inn.

Not particularly wanting to reveal anything about his powers of shapeshifting to what seemed to be a complete stranger, Dravach did what he did best and told an outright lie. "Not human? No no no! You must be thinking of Bravack, the one eyed man who can turn into a gnome! I guess it's just the wrinkles I'm cursed to be smothered with eh?"

Dravach smiled to himself and looked over towards the Ogre and then back to Thorgrim. He was up for a joke. "Go on then, see if you can get him to 'dance'." He croaked as he raised his glass whilst the bartender wiped at the counter. He took a small sip and swallowed it. This ale wasn't as good as Rum, but it sure did hit the right spot! He paused for a moment waiting for the bartender to finish, then placed his glass back on the counter.

thorgrim - April 15, 2006 03:11 PM (GMT)
thorgrim being himself fires a fire ball into the ogres chest setting his cloths on fire.the ogre responds by roaring and trying to pat the fire out and maddly panicking and strugling to get the burning cloth of his person in a strange and bizzare dance.and ran out side to dunk himself in ther water trougth pressumably but ogre's weren't known for being intellegent.then he turned to davarach and smiled widly "sure" thorgrim could tell he was being lied to but confronting people was not a good way to make allies so he wispered on "I never mentioned anything about shpe shifting though...."

Ita the Reckless - April 15, 2006 03:37 PM (GMT)
{Surprise surprise! :magic: Thorgrim, you've just been punk'd. o.o}

With angry, tumultuous steps, the ogre walked back to the entrance of the inn. It had its arms out a little, its tattered and burnt clothes now dripping in water. The red, blue, and gold tribal markings on its head and arms seemed to magnify the look of complete rage on its face. Water and chips of dry blood pooled down at its feet. All it did for several moments was just stand and glare at Thorgrim.

"It's on, lich." the ogre growled, taking three steps forward. But as it was walking, something was happening. Its eyes burst into blue flame. Its skin turned crimson red, then grew fur. Its nose elongated into a muzzle. It grew a tail. And finally, its soaking-wet clothes were replaced with a suit of soaking-wet armor.

Ita the Reckless, not an ogre, but the lupinic Goddess of Chaos, clenched her fists and bared her teeth. "Oh, it's on alright." She stopped when she was about five feet away from the counter where Dravach and Thorgrim sat. "But first, I have to get rid of this pesky water." The lupine's eyes glinted with wickedness and anger. Within moments, Ita suddenly became enveloped head to toe... with blue flames. Steam from the water on her armor burst into the air, instantly drying her body. By now almost everyone in the bar who was conscious seemed to be watching. It was free entertainment for them, but lethal entertainment for Thorgrim.

Ita's head snapped in the direction of a moving shadow, a scowl continuing to grace her bloodthirsty jowls.
"Children of Chaos. Attack."

Edit by Ita the Reckless: The first sentence of your post was godmoding. "Ita's minor slaves" are actually player-controlled characters that will be posting soon, and you cannot determine the results of your attacks on them. In fact, the members haven't even arrived yet. I have deleted the sentence that broke this rule. Please do not do this again or you will recieve a warning.

Dravach - April 16, 2006 01:30 PM (GMT)
Dravach instantly stood back off of his stool as Ita revealed her true nature. He smiled widely as the many other members of the Children Of Chaos began to join in the fight against Thorgrim. They emerged from where they had been watching and he heard the chanting of the bartender egging them all on. Dravach flicked a coin over to the bartender and said, "Thanks for keeping this a secret." before raising his hand in the air and casting 'curse' on Thorgrim.

The people in the bar were looking both bewildered and perplexed, but none more than Thorgrim. Dravach laughed with glee as he knealt down to recieve his punishment. 'Ita had better make the most of this' he thought to himself and stroked his chin wondering what type of attack or spell she would use. He himself was tempted to continuoesly bombard him with complicated hexes and curses but he knew that other members of the CoC would like to join in the fun aswell. Instead he decided to launch a suprise attack on him.

He moved to the shady corner of the inn, the corner directly behind thorgrims back. This way he would not spot him transforming into a poisonus Cobra. He screwed his eyes shut and slowly his whole body shrunk and compressed itself into the form of a cobra. Transforming no longer hurt him as he was now so adapted with it. He resisted the urge to hiss and instead silently slithered up to where Thorgrim was knelt and waited for orders from either Ita or Tithdaeron to attack. Hopefully Thorgrim had not noticed, in fact he would be fairly suprised if he did as he had made little to no sound and the bar was echoeing with shouts and harsh laughter from the drunken public. He licked his sharp pointed fangs to clean them and waited for orders.

Ita the Reckless - April 16, 2006 01:52 PM (GMT)
Ita glanced at Dravach, who had now taken the form of a cobra. The goddess made a very small smile, remembering that turning into a serpant was how she herself greeted Tithdaeron when he first visited her temple. Ita made a very shallow nod, which could only be recognised as such by a very keen eye. It was a gesture that signaled Dravach to attack. While that happened, Ita, still burning in flames, decided to go easy on the lich at first. She inhaled until her chest puffed out noticeabely. And with a huge exhale, a huge stream of blue fire barreled out of Ita's throat and through the air in a large column. It would be a surprise if Thorgrim had the reflexes to avoid both the lupine's and dravach's attacks.

Not caring if her breath weapon hit him or not, Ita prepared her next assailment. She put out her left hand, holding it outwards as if expecting something to fall in it. A large display of lightning and electricity formed, creating a ball of energy. Soon enough, it began changing shape and lengthening into a hilt. Then the top formed: a large, massive, deadly hammer. Ita gripped it tightly, obviously not damaged by the material her new weapon was made out of, and continued to look around for the other members of the Children of Chaos.

Tithy - April 16, 2006 09:08 PM (GMT)
((OOC:Congrats Thorgrim! Your the first victim of the CoC!))

Tithdaeron leaped from the shadows shortly before Ita launched her breath weapon. The blue flames were very impressive indeed, and made Tithdaeron slightly envious. He hoped to be able to get flames that hot soon. Instead, Tithdaeron ignited his own coat of red and orange flames, and landed on the ground behind Thorgrim. "You have been an annoyance to us. We decided to remove the thorn from our side." said Tithdaeron, as the blue rod of flame blew past his face.

Tithdaeron quickly low-kicked at Thorgrim's knees from behind in an attempt to trip him onto the ground. He would be much easier to beat on in that position. Dravach had gone off somewhere, and Tithdaeron was unable to see where but could still smell him. It smelled like Dravach, but was somewhat serpentine as well. Tithdaeron had recently taken to hating snakes... he would have to deal with it.

((Would have made it longer, but, not much to work with...))

Umbra - April 17, 2006 01:45 PM (GMT)
((OOC: No we just wanted to punk someone  . You just got the most votes :shifty:))

"AAAAAAOOOOOOOOOO" was the sound that came from outside. A lupine jumped through the door. It jumped from table to table its black fur making it look like it was a black shadow moving from table to table. It was followed by a bat. The bat landed on one of the barmaids shoulder while the lupine moved to the other side. The barmaid took off her headband(OOC: the cloth they used to hold their hair back, do not know what it is called) and her apron revealing black hair and a crude chainmail.

"Thorgrim here is a hint, the armor of the Ogre matched the armor of My Lady Ita. It should have been obvious that the Ogre was Ita in disguise." Umbra said with a smirk as she took her dagger from the belt she had on her leg. "Lets go." she said jumping the table and getting ready to attack Thorgrim.

thorgrim - April 18, 2006 04:18 PM (GMT)
(yea well im not entertaining you by fighting back  and sorry ita i thought the people in the bar was your servants ^_^ )

thorgrim had no intention of foghting back.
he simply laughted as his body was filled with excuciiating pain.
"your nicer than the last one i must confress................"
as he slumped to the floor unconsious.

Tithy - April 18, 2006 05:15 PM (GMT)
Tithdaeron looked slightly coyly at Thorgrim as his kick connected and the lich fell to the ground... unconcious. He frowned slightly, as he was hoping for a little tougher of an opponent than that. Who got knocked unconcious from a kick to the knee anyhow? It couldnt have hurt that bad! "I suppose I will just eat him then..." said Tithdaeron, almost asking Ita permission to do so. "Any objections, Children?"

Tithdaeron licked his lips hungrily and ignited flaming arrow in his hand. He couldnt yet cast fireballs, so, he would skewer him and wait for the fire to spread. Of course, with the aid of his Flam Dance Ring it would be a matter of seconds. He had been curious as to what a lich would taste like. Probably sour, but, he hadnt eaten for a while now and was willing to give it a shot.

thorgrim - April 18, 2006 05:33 PM (GMT)
(i just love playing possum :D hammer..........uh revenge time)

thorgrim rose to his feet fully consious that vampire had fallen for it........he should know better than that, thorgrim cast ghastly armour and slammed his fist into the vampier vicouisly.then he turned to the black lupine with his temper flaring and howeled an unholy howl aided by his ghastly armour hosts that made even the bar patrions fall to there knees. he stood ready and drew karak-a-barak to gain is revenge he might not win but they would think twice before tricking and archlich they would have trouble walking away from this one...........he didn't fear death as it was familiar to him............and he wasn't all that easy to kill. he would teach ita's nuresry he was not to be messed with by anyone he then turned to the cobra that had bitten him "your turn next......"

Ita the Reckless - April 19, 2006 10:26 AM (GMT)
"I'm sorry, lich, but a cute little mace isn't going to earn you a win this time." Ita taunted while tossing her hammer back and forth from each hand. Out of the corner of her eye she saw him launching his fist at Tithdaeron. Halfway through its course, Ita caught it. For added potention pain, her hand (as well as the rest of her body) was still covered in flames. The deity turned towards the vampire. "Sorry Tith, the mule refuses to die. But I'll make him, and when that happens, feel free to enjoy." Ita almost regretted using the ogre as a disguise. That meant she couldn't have brought the Chaos Axe to the ambush, which would have clipped off thorgrim's head like a knife through butter. But she hadn't exercised her spells lately either. Ita spun her thunder hammer around in elegant flourishes before lifting it and beginning to bring it down upon the lich.

thorgrim - April 19, 2006 11:13 AM (GMT)
thorgrim uses the momentum of the hammer blow to swing ita's flaming body into the vampire and fire an enervation into itas face propeling them away from him then he pulls off his badly burnt arm and replacing it with that of a bar patrons. ita was powerful and smart. as all godesses are and it would take more that physical and magical strength to win the battle this would be good.

Ita the Reckless - April 19, 2006 11:14 PM (GMT)
{OOC: Thorgrim, stop godmoding. Now.}

Ita's eyebrows heightened when thorgrim attempted to push her over. She dissolved her hammer and crossed her arms with a look of complete bewilderment. However, she was not taken aback by his "awesome display of power," but surprised by his complete incompetance. Why did she even choose to come to this raid if the opponent was weaker than the rats that scurried around the walls of the Kaima Inn? She had better things to do, more important people to kill, like the angel Iveskae or the drow Malisaro. Obviously Ita wasn't pushed over by him, and when he sent the enervation spell barreling towards her helmeted face, she didn't even flinch. The goddess held up one of her hands from its former crossed position. The black bolts of negative energy bounced off in other directions, as if they had collided with an invisible wall. Some hit the roof, others hit innocent passerbys, but none hit Thorgrim or any of Ita's allies.

The chaotic valar moved her head from side to side, her neck cracking. The battle was definately warming up. "Children of Chaos, feel free to sink your attacks in him. He isn't worth getting killed solely and personally by myself alone."

luppina - April 19, 2006 11:36 PM (GMT)
(im sorry i dont know what is god moding and whats not :'( ill just kill myself okay )

thorgrim looked up and saw ita stood there unphased
he was astounded but then realised it was hopeless and slumped to the floor
his mace rolled away he was defensless he was going to be killed again but not by ita not by her maggots he charged all the magic into his body and prepared to blow himself to kingdom come. he smiled up at ita he knew she knew what was going to happen........and with that he sent his soul to the next place of punishment then he looked at ita and cas dark regeneration on her stomach and on the place the bottle had struck and then he prepared to explode this was a purly a self harm attack and only a pretty fire works for the children to look at.............
