Title: .: Nighttime Travels :.

Shyam - March 30, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
The darkness had once again descended on the earth, the moon casting her soft glow on the earth. The stars were no competition for her beauty, though they each sparkled with joy in the shadowed sky. Down on the land, ivory bones were decomposing to dust, the grass poisoned with death and destruction. Shyam was careful not to let her bare feet touch any of the remains, though it was difficult for there were bones littered, quite literally, everywhere. It was rumored that the spirits of those roamed the land, though none had appeared yet. The woman pulled her cloak more tightly around her slender form, a slight chill running up her spine. She spun around swiftly, as if taking in the fact that there were none others in this land.

A grin of relief tugged at the corners of her lips as her slender digits ran though her hair. Obviously the moon had smiled upon her this night, allowing her ample light to see in the clearing. Naturally, the wolf was pacing the confines of her mind, and though she was willing to give the wolf her reign, she wanted to explore this land with her human skin first. "Ouch" She nearly leapt back; her foot had hit the one of the remains, almost piercing her skin. Fortunately, she had caught herself in time, and now just had a sharp pain traveling up her spine. She mumbled, berating herself for such stupidity as she moved onwards. She took care to pay attention to where she was stepping, maneuvering through the 'pathway' of bones. She smiled slightly as she slowed her gait.

The place was filled with death and dread. She could sense it with her body, more than her five senses, though with those too. She could smell it, even taste it. Her wolfen mind wove it into a tapestry of sights, smells, tastes, and sounds. She smiled at the image it presented, completely unaware of her surroundings, her mind transported to a different place...

Daemona - April 11, 2006 08:49 PM (GMT)

Daemona stalked around the area, the bones crushing beneath her heeled black boots. She couldn't care less who heard her at this point it didn't matter one whit. Why should she care after all no one cared about her. What was the point anyway. Picking up one of the bones at her feet and stabbing herself with it sounded very attractive, anyhow.
But of course that would do her no good. When something stabbed or poked her or at least tried to, her skin turned to scales and whatever it was hurt her very little. So unless one of these bones was sharp enough to pierce dragon scale....
She was so absorbed in her thoughts, she tripped and fell face first into the ground, half stabbing herself in the face as she went.
Spit!
She rubbed the patch of scale on her face, wishing it would go away before someone saw...her....When Daemona looked up she saw a pair of bare feet straight ahead.
....Uh oh...

Rhian - April 11, 2006 09:24 PM (GMT)
Rhian got up from the stump she was sitting on, being carefull not to step on any bones she ran over to the girl and kneeled down, "Are you alright?" she asked seeing the girl rub her cheek. The young half demon shivered a little as she pulled her white dress over her shoeless feet, she turned and looked at her shoes next to the stump she was sitting on with her staff and harp next to it. The moon was starting to be hidden by clouds and they heard a bone crack in the distance. Rhian moved from the girl and put her shoes back on and grabbed her staff, getting ready to fight if nessisary. "Looks like we might have company." said Rhian as she moved by the girl, she did not like fighting without a cause but that did not mean she could not.

Daemona - April 11, 2006 09:51 PM (GMT)
Daemona stood up.
"And why would it matter if we did?"

Daemona then turned away from the girl, shifted form, and flew off into the night.

Stupid.....stupid stupid stupid of you to go see His grave. Stupid! stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid...gah!

Brownwen Melania - June 21, 2006 07:48 AM (GMT)
Brownwen gazed on the two others with an amused look on her pale face. Why anyone would not expect company here only seemed queer to her for she understood that the dead watch over everything and that she herself could control one said with her necromancy.

One seemed, to her, paranoid, the other, desperate to hide her trueself. What did she care? They meaned nothing to her...except the fact that they could help her in certain ways that they could not dream of doing by will.

She walked over, her black cloack flowing behind her and her slender frame moving gracefully and swiftly avoiding all the remains with ease. Hery eyes were calm and blank as was the rest of her face. She knew how to keep feeling and thoughts off of her face and tounge and to avoid telling secrets with body language because that is what made her victims fall prey to her; wether they were evil or good it made no matter only that she knew how to read people like open books.
