Title: Ploay and Dizahab Vs Zfshiruba and Daei
Description: Battle one, arena 4

Ploay - March 27, 2006 10:47 PM (GMT)
Ploay flew over the arena to get over the high fence. For a battle ground the scenery was beautiful from a bird’s eye view. Not wanting to be seen just yet by her foes, Ploay flew into the leaves of a tree. The small branches poked her wings which forced her to turn into her human form as she scrambled with her feet to find a solid branch. There, she thought when her feet touched a thick branch as her knees buckled. The impact her knees had with the branch made her curse mentally for having such an armature landing. Her blue eyes scanned the area carefully as she stayed in the tree quietly, watching, and waiting.

She breathed shallowly as she decided that someone may have seen her land loudly. Ploay squinted to find another branch, a close branch that she could hop to without being seen. Most of the trees didn’t have a thick branch, and the nearest one that did was too far away to jump. And she wasn’t going to fly to another tree that would make more noise. So using better judgement she stayed.

Ploay had all ready vowed if Dizahab didn’t show, he would get a surprise dagger in his neck after this was all over with. Ploay leaned against the tree as close as possible. All of her concentration was focused on everything she could see, hear, and smell. But she did keep a main lookout for the drow whom was to help her. He better come, Ploay thought to herself for she didn’t completely trust the drow, at least not yet. Then Ploay started to hear someone come, which made her sink close to the tree to conceal herself until she who if it was her mate or not.

Daei - March 30, 2006 12:11 AM (GMT)
Daei walked carefully through the arena, her eyes shielded. She still couldn't see very well but it helped a little. She heard the sound of someone landing and turned quickly. Though her eyesight was bad in the light, her hearing was still exceptional and she listened closely for the stranger. Whoever it was, they were breathing too shallowly for her to pinn point them. Figuring they both knew the other was there, Daei decided to go ahead and call out. If the stranger moved, she would know.

"Lo there. Come to fight me or are you my partner? Either way, how 'bout you come to earth and meet me?" She made sure her wings were tucked in close beneath her cloak and strained her ears for any sound of movement. The area was likely artificially created so there weren't any animals to distract or confuse her. She turned her head as though she were looking amongst the trees. She may not be able to see, but whoever else was here didn't have to know that.

Dizahab - March 31, 2006 03:47 AM (GMT)
Meanwhile Dizahab was once again occupied in the Kaima Inn, examining his ancient drow spell book. He recalled the last time he was at this place it was to meet with Krakas, that was when General Maximus made what may have been one of his last mistakes by attacking what he thought was a stronghold unoccupied by military personal. Although neither Dizahab nor Krakas were soldiers for Estolad defending the city from a wanna be tyrant was more then enough to use an excuse for blood shed. “Teehee!” Dizahab chuckled to himself out loud. He started reading his book once again, that’s when it hit him, the reason he had returned to Estolad, suddenly the drow dropped his book and leaped up out of his seat like he had saw a ghost. Dizahab remembered he was enrolled in a team tournament, in which he was partnered with the angel beast he had been lusting to capture. That hadn’t mattered for the time being for the drow was already stampeding out of Kaima down to the spot his match was being held. One might look at this as the guilt of being an unreliable partner fueled him to fight for his cause, but really he was just afraid Ploay would have all the fun without him. After all, he didn’t even have to really do anything but be there in the match to advance, and eventually win the prize.

Dizahab made haste to arrive where Ploay would probably be waiting for him. The arena was nothing much but open field, he didn’t like that. However the silence of the battle ground was like music to his ears, it had meant the battle had not yet begun. Dizahab arrived to the huge fence that surrounded the area, and without slowing his pace the drow leaped for it grasping it with his huge claws and swung over the top using the extra momentum he had acquired rushing towards it. When Dizahab’s feet touched the ground his body and posture entered a sneaky state of stealth, as he shifted to a new frame of mind. The idea was to hunt the opponent who was probably already tired of waiting around, but that was of course if Dizahab wasn’t the first to arrive… Dizahab then forced those thoughts from his mind as he saw his opponent enter the arena, one thing stuck out about her immediately; she appeared to be trying to conceal feathered wings. Dizahab then noticed a tree shake a bit, and the woman quickly darted her head towards it. That is when Dizahab stealthy rushed towards her, and hearing the woman speak it seemed she was unsure if the one sealed within the tree was friend or foe. Her guess was as good as the drow’s, but this was not going to be an opportunity to pass up. Dizahab had planned to surprise uppercut this woman into whoever was in the tree, if it was her partner chances are they would surly attempt to catch there team mate when in a state of parallel, causing them to fall or lose balance, giving the advantage to Dizahab. If Ploay was hiding in the tree, she would use that opportunity to blast the enemy further. If she would not this would be a valuable lesion to her, one must always think fast and brutal to keep up with this drow… The time for planning had ended, Dizahab had forced all thoughts out of his mind as he reached the enemy and called to her, “Heads Up!” Dizahab then spun on a three hundred and sixty degree angle raising his huge claw upright in an attempt to execute and upper cut that would execute his plan. Although that might not even be necessary, for if connected right the impact might take his target’s head clean off.

Gabi flew to the arena as fast as she could. She could only hope that she wasn't too late. She reached the arena and hovered surveying the situation. 'There' she thought, spotting her partner. The feathered girl was about to be attacked. Gabi flipped over in the air, eyes narrowed. She folded her wings and dove, drawing her sword as she went. As she neared the ground, she swept her schmitar down to block the male's claws. Still inverted, she brought her tail around for a strike at his head.

"For my tardiness,
I shall make amends,
'Ware his partner,
My feathered friend."

Gabi apologized to Daei. Then quickly turned back to the fight, drawing a throwing knife with her right hand, she scratched her skin. Blood welled from the scratch, and Kiaaway was released.

A cold, harsh laugh filled the forest. As Kiaaway awoke, she attacked, switching her grip on the knife to stab at the man's leg. She pivoted her entire body on that had, pulling her blade from his claws and slicing at his back. Her dark purple eyes flashed with joy. This was the battle she had so long missed. She wanted blood, any blood, and meant to turn this peaceful forest into a barren, arid waste.

Ploay - April 2, 2006 01:16 PM (GMT)
Ploay stayed quiet when she saw someone else enter the arena, this newcomer surly wasn’t her partner. The archangel was surprised that the girl would call out, and give her hiding place out like that, although she wasn’t hiding. Since she was talking, Ploay didn’t move herself so she could get a better view. The wind rustled the trees allowing her to see ahead, so she is nearer then I thought, Ploay thought to herself, somewhat nearing away from the trunk of the tree. This was her chance to sneak up on her opponent, but she needed a tactical plan so she wouldn’t be always on the defensive like the first tournament she was in. I could swing a tree branch in her face, she thought to herself as she neared closer so she could see better. Just then Ploay noticed someone jumped over the fence, the archangel looked where she heard the small noise of running. Whoever it was, they were fast. And if it was the other opponent she needed to be just as quick, or quicker; and if it be her teammate then she needed to be able to keep up with him.

So it was decided, the archangel whispered words and soon she felt faster, like a blur when she looked at her shaking hands. Jumping out of the tree, she saw who was running and it was her partner. He started to spin with his massive claw, that whipped the air around him. Ploay felt if that attack it the girl, it would hurt her greatly. Sprinting with her blur spell on she looked like a skreak running in front of the girl. Then she noticed another girl behind Dizahab. Quickly she wonder what was more important, your teammates life, or a strangers life? He was too close to think, and he was within touching distances. Ploay gritted her teeth as she grabbed the joint of his inner elbow, then spun around to give Gabi a good kick in the side as she allow Dizahab’s attack to proceed. The archangel didn’t look back, she didn’t want to see what horror her teammate was doing. Before she knew it, the girl’s tail whipped around and gave her a slap in the face. The pain was mild but so very sharp she had to rub her red cheek. Taking a fighting stance she started to rub both of her fingers and started to say something in her native language. Her hands became mere essence of electricity as Ploay could feel the warm tingling coming from her hands. Potting a finger she shot a bolt of electricity out at the girl’s knife. A small, almost invisible smile came across her face as she concentrate on the girl before her, “lets go.” Ploay said in a hurried tone.

Kiaaway spun gracefully to face her new opponent. The angel had managed to save the male, but that was at her own peril. The angel girl had moved quickly, unnaturally quickly.

'I believe she's using blur.' Gabi notified her other half. She watched as the girl took a fighting stance and pointed her finger at them. The singer observed the first spark of the lightning. She knew they didn't have the time to dodge it, so she slammed her sword into the ground. The lightning hurt, but she'd had worse. Aiming her dagger hand at the trees behind the angel, she sent a solar flare roaring past the angel and began healing her wounds, leaving Kiaaway to do battle.

In the wake of Gabi's spell, Kiaaway flung her throwing knife at the angel. The lightning attack had superheated it, so if it hit her, she'd be in for a nasty surprise. Behind the knife, Kiaaway charged. Her claws were extended, but she kept her arm near her side, inverted. The girl was using blur, so Kiaaway knew her attacks needed to be perfectly timed. She couldn't afford to telegraph her moves. Her sword stayed low to the ground in case of another lightning attack.
She quickly reached the girl's position. Kiaaway brought her arm as though to punch the angel, but instead balanced on her tail and executed a powerful double kick.

Gabi watched her darker side, but was also scanning the terrain to see how her partner was faring. She was also keeping an eye out for the male; she certainly didn't want anyone surprising them. Kiaaway's quick kick brought her attention back to the fight. She smirked and brought her sword arm up, thrusting low at the angel's legs. Gabi's solar wind roared only three feet beyond the angel's wings.
