Title: The sensitive side to a monster is revealed...
Description: Open

Dengar - March 27, 2006 08:00 PM (GMT)
As Dengar slowly walked towards the sea his feat dragged through the soft sand denting it's originally beautiful figure. He sat himself down on a smooth grey stone and let his feet dangle in the sea and let the waves wash over them. He was tired now after a day of hunting and yawned widely showing his vast set of fangs. He stared into the horizon as the sun slowly set and coloured the sea with a vast array of oranges and yellows.

He listened to the peaceful and calming sounds of the waves and smiled to the occasional squawk of a seagull. Behind all his killing and fearsome attitude there was a gentle and warmer side to him, which he preferred to keep quite from others. It was at evenings like these were he felt at peace with the world and would not hurt a soul. He yawned again and let out a gentle croaking noise, meaning his calmness. It was truly a beautiful evening.

Skye - March 29, 2006 02:21 AM (GMT)
Shocked to see such a large evil beast, Skye pulled out his dagger...

"What are you and why is it that you...are...here?"

Skye, unafraid of the size of the beast, stepped forward...is this beast truly at peace he thought...or is it luring pray?

"I demand...an answer...at once!"

As Skye said this, he knew a battle was not going to start...so he stepped a few steps back and let himself sit on the shore and watch the waves crash...

"So what brings you here?"

Gaeriel - March 30, 2006 06:20 AM (GMT)
Gaeriel walked along the beach rather slowly, considering that she could move faster than light if she really desired to...
It is far too exposed here...Give me back my ShadowRealm....*sigh*
She was quite absorbed in her own thoughts and didn't realize where she was going, and before she knew it, her foot caught on a rock and she fell, rather noisily, onto the wet sand. When she turned and looked up, she saw a Monster sitting in front of her.
You know, MOST people would be scared out of their wits at this thing. But not me. Nope. I've seen much worse in the Shadow Warren....Worse than that thing ever dreamed of being....
She stood up, brushed herself off, and looked at the Monster with no fear at all.

"Hello,"
She said simply, and sat down on the sand on the other side of him.

Dengar - March 30, 2006 05:44 PM (GMT)
Dengar turned hearing the sound of a noise. A half demon slowly and cautiously approched barking something in his bizarre unknown language. If he wanted a fight then he would be dissapointed as all he would get would be a quick and instant death. Dengar was not in the mood for a battle and would not allow himself to be forced into one. He was amazed how close they would get to him, most people seemed to be petrified and severely intimidated by him. Maybe these people were different and felt his pain. Not being able to understand anyone, not having any true family or friends...

He did not bother replying as he noticed an pityful elf trudge her way towards him. There was a look of sceptimism in her eye as she judged his strength and size instantly. Why did everyone these days assume they were the most ultimate creature that ever walked the floor of arda? Not wanting a fight he leapt into the water and swam around chasing some of the shoals of fish.

Skye - March 31, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)
Skye saw the monster leap into the water....unannoyed by the beast's disappearance, he turned and looked at the dark clothed elf...a drow perhaps?....maybe not...

"What may be your...name madam?"

Gaeriel - March 31, 2006 02:21 AM (GMT)
"My name is Gaeriel Sha--*sigh* Nevermind that. Just Gaeriel." She moved to the other side of the rock and sat about a foot away from the half demon. "And yours?"

Skye - March 31, 2006 04:49 AM (GMT)
"Skye..." looking back unto the horizon, Skye stared...he didn't feel that anyone could be hostile...

"The sun...its down..."

It was indeed getting late...

"Where are you... off? If nowhere, then...lets...find shelter..."

Gaeriel - April 1, 2006 08:00 AM (GMT)
"Why not? That beast doesn't seem too friendly..I think he thought I underestimated him...I've seen much worse than that thing...that's all....Is that such a terrible thing, Skye?"

Dengar - April 2, 2006 04:28 PM (GMT)
Dengar's head poked out of the water and watched the elf and demon talking. It was getting late now and he was feeling slightly tired but he didn't want to go to sleep just yet. He wanted to just feel the calm waves wash over his exhausted body, to hear the lighthearted sqwarks of the high flying seagulls, and to calmly watch these two converse with each other. He drifted back and forth watching the conversation unwravel.
