This is the story of how Vrobleski falls so in this he is good and has an element of life.)

Clang! The sound steel on steel filled the valley as the angels trained. The goal of achieving the title of “Guardian Angel” or even “Arch Angel” is what drove them through these long days. Mortals may spend a few years training, but those of the celestial race train for centauries before being recognized.

“Leon! Leon, did you hear?” a voice carried out over the sparring angels. The owner stopped in front of a particular two as they crossed their blades. It did not take lake for the battle to finish. One was one of the oldest angels still in training, and the other was only a new recruit.

“Good job,” the older one said as he helped the other back to his feet. Turning to the audience of one he replied, “You had a message for me?”

“Oh yes, we’re finally being given an assignment,” he said smiling fiercely at Leon, “We are finally being given a chance to prove ourselves; isn’t that great!”

The response was instant as Leon’s face exploded with excitement. “Are you serious?” he shouted with jubilee, “This is fantastic. Who do we report to? Leon and Charlie the greatest angels ever.” He finished with a smile imagining himself and Charlie standing strong and proud.

“Umm…” Charlie had to think for a second, “The Arch Angel Nathan,” he replied pulling a piece of paper from his robes. “Oh, and we are to leave right away.”

“Well then what are we waiting for!” Leon burst into the air with Charlie behind him as they headed for the glories and power they awaited them.
