Romolus - June 14, 2008 07:34 AM (GMT)
As summer neared the sun stayed in the sky longer and longer, not allowing for the moon to take a place itself in the sky. The moon stayed in the sky, it's silver tint as the sun unuwantingly went to the west to provide the rest of Arda with it's light. Shops were beginning to close up as the sun went to make room for the night. Nobody was aware since it seemed like any other night, but the moon for tonight gave a special glow to Arda this night. And none would notice until something happened.

Romolus had brought with him, three pelts and two horns to accompany each pelt. He had gone to Estolad at least once a week to trade for currency, and then buy things such as bread, and a replinishment of other supplies he used to survive. He made his own arrows from the bone of a buck, and he wrapped the wood of the arrows with the pelt of the same buck. The items he brought for trade were merely left over after Romolus devoured the meat. And he was sure to skin the deer carefully, so as to not leave meat attached to the underside. And wheather the pelt got used as clothing, or a rug, the hunter did not care either way. He only cared about surviving to the day after next.

When he finished with his trading he gave the spare silver and coppper left over to children that complained about not getting some wooden toy. Romolus only required the money for the items required for a humanoid to easily survive in the wilderness. And none truly noticed that the sky was orange, and the time of night was coming upon them. That is, until the shopkeepers began to close for the coming night. In a small village like Estolad, night was a time for rest. for Romolus it was a time to hunt. He looked to the sky, and almost thought he saw an aqua tint to the usually white sphere.

Perhaps he was simply tired. A moon with an almost aqua coloring was referred to as a Jade Moon, and was rarley seen. And legends about garou turning to a beastial killer were often told to frighten the children. Never in his life, had the lycan seen one, he believed it to be a story, and he was going to leave it at that.

OOC: I’d be glad to join you.

BinC:
Aiden walked silently through the gradually darkening streets as the sun began to set beneath the horizon. “It’s going to be a nice night,” Aiden said softly, admiring the view as the setting sun gave way to the rising moon. Looking back along the street, he noticed that most of the shops and inns were closing up for the night. ‘I guess I’m camping outside of town tonight,’ he thought as he brought his cloak closer to his body. The soft breeze was beginning to get much colder as the night came along. Looking back up into the sky, Aiden noticed that the moon had a strange color to it, but simply thought that it was a trick of the eyes. “I need some sleep,” he muttered to himself as he finally reached the main road out of town.

His journey had taken him a long way across the continent and he had yet to reach his destination in Lomedor. ‘It won’t be long now,’ he thought as he turned onto the main road and began his walk out of town. He suddenly wished for a horse as his legs began to ache, but quickly shook off the thought. ‘A horse would cost far too much for the little money I have. And plus, I’m so used to being alone that having a horse as a companion would only be a bother.’

‘I have enough food for the night,’ Aiden thought as he moved along the rapidly darkening street. ‘I guess I can start a fire and-.’ He broke off from his thoughts as he noticed a lone figure on the road ahead of him. ‘Odd for someone to be out at this time,’ Aiden thought, remembering that most of the shops and inns were already closed for the night. ‘Maybe he’s camping out for the night as well. It would make things much easier for both of us if we camped together.’ He decided to take his chances as he took off at a jog to catch up with the lone figure. “Hello!” he called out, hoping to get their attention…
