Well, I don't have any particular idea in mind (outside of a quest which in my short experiance don't go over to well). Whatever it is it would have to offer my character something he would want.

Your character is always wanting to learn new magic right? So maybe that could give us any ideas. :/

How about your characters go looking for some 'item of great power'. Then my character catches wind of this endeavor and follows after them to try to beat them to it.

Okay, how about. In the Misty Forest, Hirky is playing with Fairys [or somthing...] and Emp comes and starts causing trouble. Hirky, who was staying with them [Noo idea why], hears about it, and goes to keel him!! I'm just passing through, and see the Fairy's. Unable to hear them in Human mode, i put on dah necklace... somthing like that?

My character is unfortunately an opertunist, he usually does things if he gets something out of it.

Maybe he wants the Fairy's gold or treasure?

Ok maybe lose the other fairy part.
In the Misty Forest my fairy had given himself the self proclaimed title of "The Spirit of the Forest" or something along those lines, yeah planning is hard, but you could work with that too maybe. ^_^;

Would said faries possess, protect, or have knowledge of some kind of great power? Cause then that would make sense as to why my character would mess with them.

Hirky has given himself this title, and rumours have spread hes a great god or somthing, and will grant anyone who can capture him any one wish. Stella is curious, and goes to have a look to see if its real. Emp, your char could want power of wealth, and looks for him. But... we dont know that it was Hirk who made the rumour or somthing? :unsure:
