I'm looking to form some long-term IC bonds with Bane. If you don't already know about his situation, you can take a look at some of the stuff in my sig. Anways, to cut straight to the chase...

What he needs is:

Companions
Having suddenly been thrust back into Ea after spending so long in the underworld, Bane needs some people to help him get back on his feet. Currently, he's searching for his parents, and if you have a character that can help him with that, it'd be great.

Partners
After his horrible defeat at the hands of a certain demon, Bane has realized just how little chance he has against the demons he must undoubtedly face when he goes to save his sister. He must become stronger...and people to help him with this are welcome.

Comrades-in-arms
Breaking into the underworld and cutting down the demons that lay in wait won't be an easy task. Bane's gonna need some extra firepower. This is more of an distant goal, because he's got a ways to go in his plot before he attempts this. However, it couldn't hurt for him to find those that will aid him early-on.

Because Bane is a plot-driven character, I will be picky about who I accept. Preferably, those that choose to help him will be character with true motivations to do so. Maybe they feel pity for him, or they themselves have something against demons. Or...anything, I wouldn't know, it's your character! :p

Hi, My char's name is Astra she's an air witch. A young one at that. :) She would like to be one of his companions that help him get back on his feet and she also needs to learn how to be stronger in battle and stuff so she could be doing this becaus she wants to be stronger also.

Well I am not that great of a poster but I feel that I might get better if I pist with you so. I'll have Arthur go in as your Companion in Arms for the demon break in.

Who better to bring more fire power than a half-dragon. Arthur does have a distaste for demons and he would not mind helping. HE always up for rescuign a damsel in distress and such.

Maybe Jack could know of somebody who had mentioned you character's name before. He is forced to go into Estolad for frequent supplies after all. Plus it would be good for him to try and get over his fear of returning to his past, evil deeds.

You all sound good, very good. :yes: Then again, Bane would be willing to make friends with just about anyone right now, save for demons and their type. :lol: Hmm, I've gotta go for the night, but I'll try to think up plots by the time I come back. Anything you've thought of, too, would be welcome, so don't be hesitant to post even the most vague idea.

I pm'ed you a couple more ideas if you wanna check them out.

Not really adding in my aid partner wise but I have a few things to mention.

Kenny needs sort of a foe for me to start my new development plotline with him. Bane, you would fit the role nicely :) Also, Astra, you were planning on becomeing a vampire and Bane has said that he dislikes vampires, so it would be interesting to see his reaction to a former comrade turning into a vampire, would it not? Just my two cents.

Heh...and so the plot thickens! Yeah, looks like things are going to get very interesting.

Yep, Kenith, I'm all for anything you've got in mind. All Bane needs to know is that you're a vampire for the spells to start flying. He doesn't hate 'em as much as demons or drow, but they're still on his list of enemies.

So I know that Bane doesn't like rauko, that's something you've made that quite clear- nonetheless, hear me out. =3

Out of Arda I've always seen demons as primarily manipulative, brutal yes- but also extremely sophisticated when it comes to politics and willing to take advantage of almost any situation as long as there's a reasonable chance for gain- or if there's not a reasonable chance for gain, than at least some sort of significant recompense. With Bane's drive to free his sister and his growing power, sooner or later, someone's going to hear about him and want to take advantage of the havoc he'll no doubt one day wreak in the Underworld.

I think one of these people will be Vex's father. I haven't finalized Vex's new backstory and whatnot, but she'll belong to a fairly well-off family of rauko who've made their fortune purely through being politically savvy, lucky and being extraordinarily loyal to each other. Loyal for rauko, anyways.

So Vex off in the future, Vex will try to send a message. They'll probably get into a bit of a fight, will both survive and go off to lick their wounds- and the message will be left for Bane to read. Contents of the message are up for future discussion.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as 'comrade' but I think it'd make for an interesting sub-plot myself. Up to you, of course. :^_^:

Sounds like an interesting plot, Niney. I think that it all depends on what the message would ask him to do, or what it would say. I think that Bane would be willing to work with (not for, with) another demon, so long as it is to his benefit in his plan to save his sister.

To Blades, Bane views on vampires, as with drow, are prejudiced. He hates them simply because he has seen them in the underworld, and are one of the groups that participated in the whole slave trade thing going on. If he saw one, he would undoubtedly go after it...but if said vampire showed signs of morality, Bane would probably have to sit down and think about it. :o

Anyways, sorry guys, but it looks like I'm going to be too busy to do much today. Actually, I should be getting offline, like...now. :|

Fira is willing to be a partner for your cause when Bane goes to rescue his sister. She understands the importance of a lost family member since she does not know where her brother is and would be happy to support him for that reason. ^_^

Fira, that sounds good. Now, for the thing that we both apparently stink at: plotting. >_< Something pretty dramatic would have to happen for Bane to reveal his story, he wouldn't just go around telling random strangers about what's happened in his past.

Dar'vaeg, Bane doesn't have any thoughts on half-dragons. :lol: He would see them just as another race. The only races he's prejudiced against are demons, drow, and vampires. I think that some kind of combat-oriented plot would work for us, but I don't have time to think of anything right now. Time isn't something I've had much of these last few days. Looks like it's going to be the same way tommorow.

Don't worry about the contents of the letter. It'll definitely be something that looks too good to be true and probably is. :lol: This is something I think might happen pretty far off into the future so if you don't have time to focus on role-play, take care of your other plots first. =3

That's a relief, Niney. :lol: Time isn't my friend right now, and I've got some serious stuff going on for Bane right now. Don't forget about it though! It sounds interesting. This probably wasn't anything you had in mind, but there's something I've been thinking about for awhile, and I thought I'd mention it since it's kind of relevant. Bane would need a demon to guide him, no? He'd get lost if he tried to wander around the underworld without knowing where he's going.

To Astra: Heh, yeah, I was already aware of that little tidbit. He certainly wouldn't just up and abandon her. I think the first thing he would want to do is hunt down the vampire that turned her. After that...I dunno. He would have to do a lot of thinking about it. It probably depends. If she turns all evil because of it, he would probably turn against her. If not, he'd stand by her side and try to help her.

Incidentally, tomorrow I might get to actually stay online for more than a few minutes. That will be the time to get stuff done.

I'll be trying to think of some major event that can be done with Fira, Bane. ^_^
