Romolus - June 11, 2008 08:08 PM (GMT)
The sun began to set and envelope the Taurai Woods in darkness, save for a few fireflies which flickered in the ever growing darkness. This was the perfect time for the lycan, Romolus, to hunt for food. He silently stalked an unsuyspecting buck in the darkness. An aroow, set to the bow was ready to fire. But the Garou needed a good shot, so he followed silently. Eventually the buck stopped at a small clearing, and the hunter readier his shot. The string was silent as it stretched back with the arrow pressing against it. Just a few more seconds and Romolus could survive for a while longer.

But as he crouched there, ready to fire his bow for a kill shot, it became apparent that the pray was a father with children who ran up to it. Thoughts passed through Romolus' mind. He lowered the bow and removed the arrow. It was not right not kill a parent while it's children were young, even if it was but a buck. The garou let out a silent sigh as he back-tracked through the woods to his home. If he were to eat meat tonight, it would have to be from a differant prey, one of which it was more of an honorable kill. Yes, Romolus' beliefs of an honorable killing were strange, but they were just. It would be difficult to argue his killing methods.

His steps were silent as he made his way past the numerous trees that dotted the path to his home. But he would need to keep his senses tuned for the sign of anything else that may be in the woods, even another humanoid. After a while his ears heard a sound, a melodious sound that could be identified as a flute. He followed the sound, there was another humanoid within the bounderies of the Taurai Woods, and Romolus needed to see if it was a hunter, waiting for an animal to come to the noise. If that were the case, than Romolus would need to eb careful about making his appearance known. If it were peaceful, and meant no harm other than to paly it's music in the supposably secluded area, than Romolus could feel relaxed to leave it be.
