Romolus generally stays isolated in wooded areas. Perhaps Sharlie enters into the woods to play and Romolus is attracted to the music. He follows his sensative ears to the source and finds this woman playing the flute. He watches a bit from the shadows before making his presence known. We could figure the rest out from there.
