Title: Overlooking the Ocean
Description: Open, I suppose
Lord Skye - March 5, 2006 11:47 PM (GMT)
(Hooray, my first post as an ARPer... :D)
Lord Skye, blocking out all sounds of bustle in the background, made his way to the docks of Port Adúnë. The skies were clear, only a few cirrus puffs marring the pristine blue. He preferred gray, cloudy skies overhead, but sunny days were worthy of his admiration as well.
All Skye was looking for, at the moment, was a quiet place to sit and think. He had done a lot of thinking lately... there was an empty dock a short walk away.
"Ah, finally. It's so busy around here. Still getting used to it, I guess." He took a seat on the creaking wood planks which held up the dock, looking over the Palenen, and sighed.
Will there ever be salvation for me?
Look up, kid. Stay optimistic.
Why should I? My days are limited as it is. He hugged his knees and began to tremble slightly. "So, I guess I should enjoy my time here while I can, right? ..."
Malisaro - March 6, 2006 04:35 PM (GMT)
Malisaro was leaning against a wall hidden in shadow and not particulaly wishing to be seen, he wasn't a keen socialist. He looked up as his sensative ears picked up a sigh from the dock, he looked up and saw Skye sitting there.
"I wonder" he muttered benieth his face mask.
He pndered for a minute then decided not to desturb the person who evidently wanted to be left alone.
Lord Skye - March 6, 2006 10:40 PM (GMT)
Skye's gaze shifted, eyes narrowing.
Someone's there.
Yup.
A stranger?
Well, obviously a stranger, moron.
A threat?
I don't think so. You'd hear him approaching you on these creaky boards.
I suppose. Still, I'm itching for a fight to ease some tensions...
Skye eased his hand onto the hilt of his straight-katana, listening for any further movement from whatever was close behind. Should I? Don't want a bad reputation, but... it's been so long...
Malisaro - March 7, 2006 07:06 AM (GMT)
Malisaro could sense that something was wrong, the person at the dock looked to be becoming uneasy, he gazed out of his shadowy hiding place towards the stranger.
"onder what's up with him" he muttered "if he is a threat then I'll just have to take care of him quickley"
He slid back into the shadow and crouched down almost completely hiden by shadow.
Lord Skye - March 10, 2006 03:08 AM (GMT)
Skye stood up cautiously, and grinned deviously. He spread his legs to balance, and partially drew his sword from its sheath. "Friend, you may be getting yourself into more trouble than you cared to encounter today." he boasted smugly.
Skye, don't be so cocky, you don't know anyone here yet.
Exactly; a good bluff should scare him off. If I needed to bluff, I mean. Haha.
Skye turned around and scanned the area for the stranger. He peered into the shadows and thought he saw movement, but he took no action. His fingers wrapped tighter around the hilt of his sword. "I'm right here. Attack me if you think you're daring."
Mathius - March 11, 2006 06:45 PM (GMT)
From the docks a ship anchored, it looked to be that a drow design the crowds could smell the blood from the boat: was the blood human or drow even maybe angelic......in the shadows a cloaked figure lurked beneath the stern.........
Mathius - March 11, 2006 06:54 PM (GMT)
The figure from the boat rose up looking high into the thw sky the clouds were begining to change into grey and slowly it began to rain. shifting to his right mathius revealed himself to the crowd and moved to the docks. " hello citesens, you can go back to your lives everything is fine" as he finished a chant could be heard from under his breathe and the crowd obeyed...........he turned and headed for the shadowss.... :banghead:
Malisaro - March 11, 2006 07:25 PM (GMT)
Malisaro sensed danger. He turned round to see the stranger had drawn his sword.
"I'm right here. Attack me if you think you're daring."
"This guy really wants to fight me" pondered Malisaro.
He drew his sword and stepped out of the shadows facing the stranger.
"I was not planning to shed blood today" said Malisaro "but if you persist I'm afraid I shall have to"
several droplets of rain then stained the ground dark, others ran down Malisaro's nose. He narrowed his eyes in warning.
"Attack me then" said Malisaro "but prepare to regret it later"
Mathius - March 11, 2006 07:31 PM (GMT)
"you would attack a man who has no weapons?" mathius said to the man in the shadows i've no wish to fight you i'm only visiting this great port.." mathiuos slowly revealed that he was unarmed."so just allow mw to pass sir.
:banghead:
Malisaro - March 11, 2006 07:43 PM (GMT)
Malisaro turned and looked Mathius in the eye. He put his sword away and walked up to him.
"you are a traveler are you not?" said Malisaro "Then it is unwise to travel unarmed if you are one, but if you are not then I have no quarrel with you my friend"
He put out his hand, on it a skull was painted onto it with a star around it, aslo several other symbols were dotted around it.
"I'm Malsiaro" he said "and believe me I'm somebody you don't want to cross"
(ooc; By the way I wasactually talking to Lord Skye but you are forgiven)
Mathius - March 12, 2006 04:05 AM (GMT)
"nice to meet you i'm mathius i've noticed the mark on your hand where are you from?" mathios said with a blank ctsre on his face with a look that almost makes want to think that this man wasn't even capeable to harm bacteria...but there is another aura around mathius that only few can sense as if though this isn't his true for. Is this truely a real being?..or something else entirely?
:banghead: :banghead:

OOC: Spellcheck.net - Mathius PLEASE use it. ^^ I just realized something, are you General Maximus?

The half drow looked around. She was suppose to meet someone here, but they hadn't showed. It had been over an hour and a half, and Vendaria had places to go. She sat up and sighed. In her hand was a small spider, running up and down her palm. She had found it scurrying around the crates, and decided to keep it. Spiders and Drow were instinctivley connected, after all...the Drow worshiped the Spider Queen. Suddenly, though, the sound of a soon to start battle sounded from one of the docks. Looking towards the distance, she saw 3 men standing there...2 of which had visible weapons.
Vendaria had been itching for a fight for quite some time, but perhaps a public dock wasn't the best place. If she couldn't fight here, neither could these men. Focusing in on an empty spot on the dock, she teleported there. Landing in front of a masked man ((Malisaro)) , Vendaria outstretched her hands.
"There shall be no quarrels to be fought here at the Port. If any ounce of blood is drawn, you're going to have to answer to me..." She said. Closing her eyes and flicking her wrist towards the open water, a quick but powerful blast of lightning shot downwards. It was followed by a large boom of thunder, and exploded on the surface of the water, sending a fine spray of water into the air. She opened her eyes and smirked. "Any questions?"

Just as cocky as you, it seems.

He was stopped mid-word by a man who had just arrived. Skye growled in discontent. "What's he think he's doing..." and, upon seeing the masked man lay arms to rest, lost his will to attack the man.

Skye jerked his head around to see the thunderbolt crash into the nearly still water. "Well, that was a neat little trick. Lady, if you're looking for a fight, I'm all ready to go over here." he snapped. If he hadn't been interrupted by the other man's arrival, Skye would have charged at her without a second thought.

Who was this man to think he could rival her power. Yes, Vendaria may not be the strongest when it comes to steel, but she fights best with her mind. Vendaria would love to battle such a person, to put him in his place, however...The Port was too public a place to battle. She would surley be arrested and fined for causing such an uproar, but this man was taunting her. Perhaps she could kill him quickly, and then flee the scene. Yes, that is what she would do.
Vendaria casted a charm, Blur to be exact. Suddenly, everything about her body became faster. Her movements were so quick that she appeared to be a thin streak. To complete her transformation, she casted another charm. Strength was her next choice, her muscles burning with their new found energy. Her new found strength rivaled that of an Orc, she felt as though she could lift three grown men! Being both quick and strong, Vendaria grasped her dagger. There was no way this mortal would be able to match either of these attributes, and Vendaria still had plenty more magic if needed.
The half drow lunged for the man ((Lord Skye)), rivaling the speed of sound, and held her dagger in the air. If she made contact, the spells she had casted ((blur and strength)) would surley make this attack near fatal.
Lord Skye - March 13, 2006 03:55 AM (GMT)
Skye gasped when Vendaria rushed in to attack; such speed was not what he bargained for challenging the woman. More out of instinct than decision, he raised his sword in defense and the two weapons clashed. Skye had saved himself from a greivous wound, but the force behind the drow's attack sent him off-balance, and he stumbled backwards. Yet he smiled. "Not since I last fought my master have I seen such speed and power... the only difference is, he didn't have to hide behind any magic!" Skye teased. He steadied himself and prepared to counter Vendaria's next attack.
Aslyn - March 13, 2006 04:19 AM (GMT)
“Then your master didn’t teach you very well!” She screamed. Even the strongest swordsman couldn’t naturally out power a mage, magic allowed the caster to do the impossible. After the man stumbled backwards, it became apparent that the half drow had this fight in the bag. She was too quick, nearly four times as quick as him, and four times as strong. The odds were in her favor. If worst came to worse, she had much more powerful magic to fall back on, as well.
She ran around the man with such speed, she appeared to be a thin streak. As she ran around, however, she slashed repeatedly at the man from all directions. She was no fool, however, and kept careful attention towards the man’s feet. If he were to try and trip her, she would simply jump over them. She had lightning reflexes, and this would prove to be no problem. There was no way he could defend all these locations at once, and Vendaria eagerly awaited the outcome of her attacks.
Lord Skye - March 13, 2006 04:38 AM (GMT)
Lord Skye already knew Venderia would take full advantage of her magic, as would any faithful mage. However, Venderia was wrong: if not for his loyalty to his trainer, he may already be dead. He saw her dagger rise to strike, and tossed up his cloak in his left hand as a defense. As she ran around Skye, she struck his arm once, then he stepped slightly backward to give himself enough room to avoid a few more swipes. But of course she had Blur on her side, and he couldn't keep backing away from her quick blade. Skye ducked, was scratched on his shoulder and aimed his sword at Venderia's middle.
She's in the middle of an attack still; she'll be hard-pressed to dodge this...
(Good night, see you tomorrow.)
Aslyn - March 13, 2006 04:50 AM (GMT)
<< I'll post tomorrow as well. I need to go to bed also. >>
Vendaria felt her dagger piercing his soft skin, and she laughed. Oh, how she loved magic. She use to be an assassin, but her sorcerery became her most powerful weapon. She watched the man back up a few steps, a few of her swipes missing him, but as she went to run closer, she saw him jab his sword towards her middle. Thank goodness for Blur, for without having casted it she would surley not have the time to react. She stopped running, but the extreme speed propelled her forward even after her attempt to stop. She spun her body at an odd angle, managing to dodge the slash, however...she tripped. She fell off the wooden dock and landed in the ocean. She fell under water, her lungs craving air. She swam upward, kicking her legs as fast as Blur would allow. She reached the surface and gasped. Staying in the middle of the water, she casted another charm. This one she had never used before, but had memorized it's incantation. She focused in on a group of small flowers growing alongside the dock and casted her charm. She felt the effects burn through her, a sensation she never felt before. It's feeling was undescribable. Vendaria continued to stay on the surface of the water and watched as the flowers shot upward into the air, a long, thick, and spiky vine following it. The plants were now moving under Vendaria's command. She continued to stretch the vines until they were long enough, reaching seven feet. They quickly shot forward towards the man. Some were heading for his hands and feet, while the others were going for his middle. They planned on wrapping him up, but sword would easily cut through him. Vendaria only hoped that he wouldn't be
Malisaro - March 13, 2006 04:36 PM (GMT)
Malisaro watched the fight and semmed mildly amused if not impressed by the half drow's magic.
"My mark is the symbol of my clan" he explained "and as for the other symbols, there are for every bieng I have killed"
He continued to watch Skye's vail attempts to block Vendaria's attacks and showed slight surprise when Skye landed a blow on her chest. Once Vendaria fell of the side he though the battle was over but she came to the surface and charmed vines around Skye.
"Impressive" admitted Malisaro "you fight well"
He walked over to the edge of the dock and offered his hand out to Vendaria to help her out.
Aslyn - March 13, 2006 09:38 PM (GMT)
OOC: Interesting, it never posted my whole post last time.
---
Vendaria saw a strange man extend his hand, saying something about her fighting well. She needed no help, she could continue battling. She focused her eyes onto a spot on the dock and teleported there, dripping wet with water.
"I need no assistance!" She said, watching her vines as they attacked the man.
Malisaro - March 13, 2006 09:50 PM (GMT)
Malisaro showed no signs of surprise at Vendaria's ability to teleport but slight annoyance.
"Suit yourself" he said.
He strode back into his shadowy corner and watched the fight from there. He gazed out onto the vast ocean beyond the prot and though he saw a face rise from the waves but when he looked back it had gone.
(ooc; sorry posted in a hurry, my brothers a hog)
Lord Skye - March 14, 2006 02:13 AM (GMT)
Skye shook his left arm and gritted his teeth, trying to ease the pain of a fresh wound, his cloak again behind him. Then he noticed, although he knew his attack hadn't connected, Vendaria lost her footing and tumbled into the water. Skye gasped, worrying that she may not know how to swim, and he considered diving in after her to save her. But she reached the surface soon enough, and the sound of her breath eased his worry.
"Hm... gave me a little scare. What do I care about this woman?" he wondered aloud. "Guess I still have my instincts to help someone in trouble... even in the heat of battle. Where did I get that, anyway? Mother?" Skye sighed, when he spotted an army of vines coming at him. "What's this?" Of course, since they were only flowers to start with, they weren't much trouble to put down. He casually hacked away the greens, and saw their animator had picked herself out of the water. Lord Skye smiled and spoke.
"Lady, I've lost motivation to fight. I've already got a cut or two, and you... well, go home and dry off before you get a cold." Skye taunted her good-naturedly. "And the plant magic probably would work better in a forest or something, you know? Either way, well met." He sheathed his sword.
I think I'm done for now.
Good choice, you made.
Aslyn - March 14, 2006 02:48 AM (GMT)
"Perhaps you are right about my plants, but they were simply there to assure I could get back onto the dock." She said. "Oh, and about me being wet? I think I have an idea on how to dry off!" She screamed. She thrusted both hands towards the man and said the power word, her hands heating up until they released a large ball of orange flame. It hurtled towards the man, sizzling and crackling in the air as it made it's way towards him.
"You may be ready to go home- but I'm not finished!"
Lord Skye - March 16, 2006 11:46 PM (GMT)
(Sorry I've been out for a few days. Rough time and all, see...)
Lord Skye had plenty of experience with fireballs from his past fights with mages. He saw her hands in that familiar position, heating up to a point, gathering magical flames. It wasn't at all difficult to sidestep the attack, seeing it coming from miles away. The heat passed mere feet from Skye's face, but it wasn't quite enough to singe his skin, although the flames incinerated the severed vines on the dock boards. Skye turned and watched the fireball dissipate over the soft waves, then looked back at the half-drow woman.
"Are you through? I'm wise to your tricks now, and your anger is taking control of you. To continue would be foolhardy, milady."
Okay, she's casting spells now. I bet she'll probably try to confuse me with her blur magic, then throw something else at me. Have to be ready for anything.
Skye spread his legs more with his right side turned toward the woman, reaching a stealthy hand for the sword on his left, ready to dodge anything and strike back.
zfshiruba - March 17, 2006 12:52 AM (GMT)
Gabi and Kiaaway watched Lord Skye and Vendaria's conflict with interest. One was heckling, and so was the other.
'Mages!' Kiaaway thought disgustedly. 'The megalomaniac fiends are always so certain their magic can get them out of everything.'
'Most of the time it can, Kiaaway,' Gabi told her other self calmly. Suprisingly, the two minds weren't currently in contention. The fight interested them both, but neither wanted to get involved. Kiaaway, though in truth she loved battle, liked watching as much as she liked fighting directly. 'In this case though, you're right. That attack was rather obvious,' Gabi continued.
Kiaaway narrowed their eyes. 'Too obvious. Either the wench is an emotional imbecile or it is a masterful feint. We will soon discover the truth of the matter.

'Interesting. Kiaaway, we have a taunter,' Gabi remarked. It was only on the sidelines like this, when she didn't have a stake in things could she and Kiaaway semi-coexist. Gabi treasured these rare moments when she didn't have to guard her every thought.
Kiaaway scowled. 'It may be tactically sound, but speech has no place in battle. Conversation should occur before, to start the fight, or in the aftermath. During the throes of contention, the only sounds should be those of weapons, flesh, footfalls, and breath.' She crossed their arms, highly irritated.
'Liar,' Gabi announced as though it were a royal decree. 'You just don't speak because it makes them underestimate you,' she declares, amused at her dark half's pretentious nature.
Kiaaway shrugged. 'True enough, I suppose,' she replied.

Kiaaway noticed Skye's movements approvingly. 'He certainly seems to know what he is doing, at least. Unfortunate that his opponent is a cheating mage,' she told Gabi.
The blue-eyed girl simply shook her head. Kiaaway could be very opinionated about magic now, but if it helped them get an edge in a fight, she knew Kiaaway would have no objections.
Aslyn - March 17, 2006 02:39 AM (GMT)
"Are you through? I'm wise to your tricks now, and your anger is taking control of you. To continue would be foolhardy, milady."
Vendaria laughed. This man had yet to see her power. No longer would she say the incantations, thus allowing her to catch the man offguard. **NEW FEAT: Silent Spell ^^** She flicked her wrist in a complex motion, casting the Control Winds spell silently. She now had complete control over the winds, and found it funny that it was impossible to dodge the air.
Vendaria thrusted her hands to the far right, then back towards the far left...powerful gusts of wind that reached up to 100 miles per hour rushed towards the man. Those were much to strong for any man to stay on the ground, let alone dodge. Vendaria kept perfect control over the winds. Should the man attack her, he would most defintiley loose his balance and or be thrown into the sky.
zfshiruba - March 17, 2006 02:58 AM (GMT)
Kiaaway watched with a sneer as Vendaria moved her hand in some elaborate motion. She truly loathed magic dependent morons.
'Impressive,' Gabi acknowledged the woman's skill, then realized what she was doing. 'Silent spell, She's controlling the winds. Kiaaway, get us out of here!' she ordered the other.
'Why should I?' Kiaaway snarled. 'I don't have to take orders from ---'
Gabi cut her off, forced their wings out quickly and took to the air. 'Kiaaway, she just sent half a ton of air heading towards him at a hundred miles per hour!' she raged.
'So?' drawled the magic ignorant blade.
'We were standing right behind him, baka no oujo!' Gabi screamed. She got only silence in reply.
Lord Skye - March 18, 2006 12:04 AM (GMT)
What's this now, a new spell? Saw it coming, naturally, but what will it do...
Skye calmly thought over his position in battle. A bit of wind ruffled his cape and hair.
A wind spell... how annoying. Guess I'll have to hit the deck.
As the winds grew stronger around him, Skye knew the worst was still to come, and dove toward the side edge of the dock. He checked his sword and satchel before flinging himself over the edge, hanging onto a support log by two hands, and he began to wait as he hang there.
Can't hit me from here, I'll wager. I'll simply wait until she exhausts herself...
(Oh, Vendaria... I have to be honest. Your other avatar was much better... no offense intended, of course.)
Aslyn - March 18, 2006 01:07 AM (GMT)
Vendaria watched the man predictabily dive into the water to avoid the wind. That was a fatal mistake. With the wind still blowing viciously over the dock, Vendaria flicked her wrist three times. Dark clouds rolled over the Lake, and a few moments later, three powerful lightning strikes hurtled downward and crashed into the lake...Powerful thundershocks traveled through the water at a very high speed.
Lord Skye - March 18, 2006 01:18 AM (GMT)
...Damn. She's smart. I'll give her that, but what kind of stamina can she really have?
Skye kicked up a leg and hooked it onto the dockside, then pulled the other to the same position, lifting them out of harm's way as the clouds rolled in. Lightning slammed into the lake, and a wave of electricity shot for miles around, passing at blinding speed just underneath the awkwardly dangling man. Skye chuckled and rolled onto the boards. "Bit hard to get rid of, eh?" he yelled over the roar of the winds, keeping flat.
Got to do something, or she'll just cast another spell. Okay, think...
Noticing the cracks in the boards, wide enough to slip fingers through, he made use of them to inch closer to his target. Slowly, he got to his knees and, with the boards to hold onto, began to forge his way closer to the enemy.
Aslyn - March 18, 2006 02:20 AM (GMT)
Vendaria laughed. Here this man was, clinging to a wooden dock over a vast lake. She stepped off the dock and decided to rid the man of his sanctuary. She silently casted Fireball onto the dock, setting it onfire. Surley the man would either abandon the dock and fall into the water, or be forced off by the fire.
Vendaria prepared her Summon Lightning spell, ready to cast it as soon as she thought he was in the water.
Lord Skye - March 18, 2006 02:37 AM (GMT)
The dock was on fire. The dock was on fire. It was on fire, and Lord Skye was screwed. He cursed loudly as the flames consumed the wood; he had to think quick again or lose the fight, and lose it disgracefully. The only option Skye could see was to leap into the water; he turned and raced for the last plank, and sailed off. The only matter was, he realized in mid-flight he would be vulnerable to another jolt of lightning.
Agh... Light save me... he thought sadly as he met the water. Is this battle truly lost? He kicked off hard and started to swim.
Aslyn - March 18, 2006 03:17 AM (GMT)
The Half Drow smirked. She knew she had won the fight, and the man did too. She could be evil, but she was also a merciful warrior. She called out to the swimming man and said, "Take your time swimming to shore. We know who won the battle, and that is what matters!"
Vendaria felt proud of herself for winning the battle, and was also happy that she let the man live. Surley a bolt of powerful lightning, ehanced by the water, would be enough to kill a man. Or, at least paralyze him enough to make him drown. Vendaria decided to help the man's injuries heal quicker before she left. She extended her palm towards the still-swimming man and silently casted Greater Healing. Vendaria watched as the spell took effect, his bloody stab wounds remending and the bleeding stopped.
Lord Skye - March 18, 2006 04:23 AM (GMT)
Lord Skye chuckled. "A wasted spell." he called out, shimmeying up the corner log of the dock, and he grabbed onto the last plank. "I had no intention of swimming to shore, milady." Skye jumped off the log, the momentum helping to carry his feet up and smash through a few boards, and he clambered up through the remaining gap. Upon composing himself on his feet, he tore off his cape, sopping in water, and tossed it upon the approaching flames. Smoke rose from underneath as the cape smothered the embers. Without hesitation, Skye tore off over the path he made, weaving over and around areas where the wood had burned away or fires were fresh; he drew his sword and prepared to strike the drow. "You should have killed me given the chance! Now I'm back and better than ever!"
Aslyn - March 18, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
Vendaria watched as the man drew his sword, what a foolish mistake. She silently cast Strengthen upon herself as the man charged towards her. She readied her dagger, held it up in a defensive position, and when the man attempted to strike her, his sword clashed with her dagger. Vendaria was much stronger than he was, and managed to put so much force into her counter-attack that the man was forced to back up. The half drow quickly jumped back a few feet, and then extended her hand. Out shot another fireball, although it wasn't aimed for the man. It was aimed a little before him, so as to cause it to explode when it hit the ground, hopefully dealing some damage.
Lord Skye - March 18, 2006 06:23 AM (GMT)
Lord Skye was surprised at the woman's counterattack, having forgotten all about physical enhancing spells, but he maintained his balance. He stepped away from the drow just as she cast another spell. It was a smallish fireball, and he was surprised she had not aimed it at him but instead at the planks behind him.
So she's hoping to harm me more by striking me where my defenses are lower...
The boards caught fire like their charred brethren just a minute ago. Skye was about to stumble right into the flames, as it were, and he'd been through a few many "enlightenments" for comfort. Instead, he tried to dive over them, but he ended up with a few embers underneath before he rolled to safety. His drenched raiment still afforded some reprieve from catching fire, but not enough to protect his left hand from a singing. Skye sprung back up, shaking his hand in pain. The flames from earlier had mostly receded, so he was standing on fairly stable ground.
Okay, back to plan A... wait 'til she tires of her magic. Or, maybe... He looked backwards at the partially destroyed planks.
zfshiruba - March 20, 2006 10:58 PM (GMT)
Gabi surveyed the damage the Half-Drow woman had caused. 'This battle has become quite destructive. He's an excellent fighter, but her magic dominates the fight.' she observed.
'Destruction,' Kiaaway smiled creepily at the sight of the all the damage, then quickly snapped her head up. 'I could cause even more destruction without using a single spell.' she stated loftily.
Gabi smirked. 'Only because you can't cast spells.' she ribbed Kiaaway.
Kiaaway's eyes went cold and wild. Without a second's thought, she drew a throwing knife from its sheath and stabbed her own forearm. 'Do not toy with me, bard.' she ordered, freezing their mindscape with her tone. 'Remember, I am not the one who feels pain.' she hissed. With a glacial grin, she relinquished control.
Instant pain welcomed Gabi back from the mindscape.
"To ease this pain I feel,
Quickly cast 'Minor Heal'." she whispered through the pain. 'Thank the Star Guardian she doesn't poison the blades.' Gabi thought. She returned her attention to the altercation, fearing to instigate Kiaaway further.
Aslyn - March 20, 2006 11:14 PM (GMT)
Vendaria watched as the man regained his balance and barley avoided the brunt of her fireball attack. He did however suffer some obvious burns, and she had no intent on healing them this time. She watched as he turned around, staring at the scorched planks of the dock.
This man may have been physically stronger than her without magic, but Vendaria was stronger both physically and mentally when it came to her spells. She was something that this man should have never been involved in, and he should have also accept the offer to simply walk away after being saved, but he was foolish to continue battling. There would be no second chances.
Vendaria thrusted her hands from the right to left, sending a very powerful gust of wind towards the man's side in order to blow him off the dock and back into the water. These spells were taking a toll on Vendaria's mind, and she was developing a slight headache. However, for physical pain, she was in pristine condition.
She watched to see the man's reaction towards the winds, preparing a Summon Lightning spell should he topple over.
Mathius - March 21, 2006 02:22 PM (GMT)
Mathius reveals himself from the shadows just enough so Vendaria could tell he had a short bow drawn and aimed at her. " your fighting is pointless your destroying the peoples homes. For what alittle glory, maybe to hear your name once or twice in a tavern, i say to you let us all just calm down and settle this like gentle beings. Don't try anything either for you know its pointless to try and dodge a drows shot." He tried to hide his fear that dwelled in his mind. mathius was the type of person to love what he feared and that was one of his greatest flaws.for he feared only 3 things in this world..... Peace, Life, and female drows...In his mind his thoughs fluttered oput like becons saying( what am i doing here why am i doing this what if she makes me surrender .... will i die yet again or be someelses slave like i was to general maximus.) there was a slight tear trailing dow his right cheek.
Illyria - March 23, 2006 03:56 PM (GMT)
Illyria sat on a nearby rooftop, laughing quietly.
"Idiots. They fight and destroy buildings and for what? To have their names spoken by a few plastered peasants in taverns like the Broken Arms?"
