The great lake of deep blue hues was of great interest to Fira Trist. She stood along the shoreline of the lake and watched as the smaller fish gathered within the shallow ends of the waters. The woman had never imagined that she would actually be able to journey away from her home one day and now... She was somewhere that was tranquil. Almost like the Temple of Life's grounds and yet not quite. Fira had become used to that particular area and the lake was somewhere new. Somewhere different. She was in a place that she wanted desperately to explore. She was out in the world. And it was all thanks to Arthur's invitation.

She smiled brightly as the calm wind swept over the stretch of water and twisted itself within her orange hair. Yes, this was certainly the life that she wanted.

Cheerfully, she clasped her hands in front of herself and watched the wind ripple the surface of the lake as she waited patiently for Arthur to arrive.

Arthur had been on many adventures once or twice taking a person with him. Showing someone how to live though was diffrent. He liked Fira, she was sweet and had a good personality, but the main reason was she had a spark in her. He had helped that spark alogn in his own way but her descions would be the one that decided if the spark went into a long unednign flame or became wild brushfire. Arthur smiled at himself as he thought about it for a minute, the brushfire or the flame would be a good thing.

He aprroached from behind Fira and looked at the Lake and looked at her and smiled. He then said," Nice isn't it, I have come here a few times in my life, I actually met a very good friend here, though I have not seen her in sometime".

She finally took her eyes away from the lake and faced Arthur with a smile. Fira sighed in awe and replied, "These waters are wonderful. I would have never imagined that such a beauty existed."

Within her mind, she thanked the son of the dragon again for choosing to invite her on such a journey. She thought that it must be different for him; she was such a newbie when it came to places other than the ones that she had grown up around in childhood. Hopefully, he would have some patience with her... Yet she did not doubt that he would not. At the temple grounds, he had been so kind and generous. She even felt that she could safely confide in him. Yes, people like him were certainly hard to come by.

Fira tilted her head curiously and repeated pieces of his sentence. "You met a really good friend here? How come you have not seen her since then, if I may ask?"

Arthur smiled and shook his head and said," They are beautiful yes, but there are things out in the world far more beautiful than this, I have been many places, I know many of the places of beauty". Arthur thought back on all of the places he had seen in his travels and selected the few that had affected him the most. He then heard Fira speak and he said," I have once about a year and a few months back, she helped me slay a very evil dragon, but since then, I lost contact, of course shape shifters are natural loners".

Arthur then looked at Fira and said," Hopefull though I will see here again, but for now I am with a friend".

Absentmindedly, the orange haired woman commented, "Yes, it is always better for friends to be there for you. Especially when the times get rougher..." She had had some friends like that before when she was a child, but they had all grown apart after that time.

Fira sighed and turned her eyes back to the lake. It was an impressive beauty. The lake was a being that seemed to continue on in a large expanse of space. Yet more importantly, this was the first place that she had journeyed to. She smiled sheepishly and said, "I am glad that I came with you, Arthur."

Arthur looked at Fira and smiled and nodded. HE then said," I am glad you did as well Fira". Arthur then looked at the lake again and wondered what he felt for Fira. He knew this was strictly friendship but he had to know for sure. Arthur was not a man to jump into things without serious thought unless in dragon form. That was diffrent but Arthur still wondered.

He then said," Fira this is a good place to start our lessons, beauty always helps with mmusic.". He took out his fiddle and said," Now I know how to play all sorts of instruments, this is the only one I have". HE put it down beside him and said," Now the first and most important lesson a PErformer can have, is that he or she must never fear the crowd, you must be prepared for anything". HE paused a bit and then said," They will make comments, they will boo, they will do anything, the crow is fickle, you must win them from the first, you bieng a woman will be harder than any".

He looked at her and said," They will think you beautiful, that adds to the performance, but there will be those that will Leer at you, make off coments, and may even try to take advantage, that is why you must always be careful, even a performer must carry a weapon sometimes, while the life is not dangerous, performers are thought easy targets and sometimes they are considered theives".He then poked her head and her heart and said," These are the things you need most in performing, your voice and skill matters nothign if you don't have head and heart, you must first learn to use your head, I will teach you that first, because you must remember will Performers use passion in music, they must use reason to survive, always remeber passion rules reason".
