Kirana walked onto the long grass on the open meadow. The smell of flowers were everywhere as she ran into the radiant sunlight. This what she always dreamed of, just running in the sunlight, in an open grass meadow. Ahh, such bliss...
As she ran, her hair flared out behind her, and her cloak rose up and down with the soft breeze.

She span around, holding her arms out, laughing in silvery peals. She twirled round and round, never getting dizzy.
Eventually, she fell down onto the soft, sweet smelling grass of the meadow. Flowers surrounded her of all colours. She smelt them all, different, unique smells as the light breeze played across her face. She smiled and reached out and up. Her hair fanned out around her, as she looked up into the clear blue sky. There's so much of it, she thought. It's so immense, but not powerful, watching over us day by day. Although her speciality was stars, she loved the sun too. How it's brightness brought her laughter once.

It brought back memories of days playing in the sunlight, with her lover. Sweet Ronnoh. A silver tear dropped out of one eye as she remembered him. His bright eyes, that radiant smile, that ever comforting hug. Kirana remembered that fateful day when he died. She was there, watching it all happen in front of her. He was caught in a stampede of horses from their home village while they escaped from it. It was the morning after and there was still a bit of destruction happening. Kirana was lucky to escape, climbing to a nearby tree. After the stampede, she went to look for him but all she could find was a bloody mess... She still shuddered at the thought...

Shivering, in spite of the heat, she wondered if she stil could find another lover again, like sweet Ronnoh. She sighed, wiped her tears and wished she could go back to the days when she was happy, joyful, and in love.
Suddenly, interrupting her memories, a loud rustle came from her left side. She jumped out, took out her sword, ready for anything. Her eyes defiant, her stance slightly crouched, just in case of dragon transformation...

"Who goes there?" she said boldly, wiping her tears and lowering her head slightly to hide the fact that she had been crying...

Maximus stepped out of the bushes and said "Easy. I'm not here to harm you." He stood towering over Kirana carrying a two handed sword. He stepped to her and said, "I am Maximus. May I ask your name?" He stood waiting for an answer.

Kirana paused for second before she put her sword away. Maximus.... I heard that name from somewhere in this confused mind....
She breathed easier as she put out her hand in greeting.
"I am Kirana, the half dragon of ice," she said proudly.

Kirana looked at him uncertainly with those silvery eyes and sat down. She tossed her hair over her shoulder and patted on the grass beside her.
"Pull up some grass, or take a seat. You're an intresting character..."

Torgrim had been walking through the plains enjoying his death when he saw a familliar figure on the horizon.
"kirana is that you ?" he shouted over to them "and alamore(im sorry if thats not your name any more) he ran towards them uncertanly.

Kirana heard a familiar voice calling her. She jumped up immediately, hardly daring to belive it.
"Thorgrim!" she cried happily and ran to him to hug him. He still looked the same, but his eyes... there was something there that Kirana couldn't place, but she laughed all the same as she ran.

he caught her in a cuddle and enjoyed her cold but pleasent embrace "hi sweety he said gentaly and let her down "so what are you doing here then ?" he ased curiously.

Kirana buried herself in his embrace and said, "I was thinking about my past... and besides, I love playing in the grass. The flowers are so beautiful!"
She bent down and picked a particularly beautiful one...
"Here. For you, my love."

thorgrim looked ath the pretty flower and takes it an puts it in his hair.
"Ta-da magnifiuqe non?" he manages to laugths and sits down with her.
"so anyway tell me about your past..."(now i get you a presant what would you like)

((You don't have to, but a necklace would be nice...))

Kirana took a deep breath and leaned forward and put her head on his lap and lay down.
She took another one and started...
"When I was little, I had a wonderful family, that always supported me in everyway. If I wanted to do something, they would do everything in their power to do it.
"Then, one dreadful night, fire dragons came and raided our village, giving no mercy.."
She started to cry, tears running down her beautiful face in the memory of the death of her family.
"I escaped, of course, and ran away to another village, far, far away from my home, where I thought the fire dragons would never come close. My foster parents were kind and gentle, and in that village, I met my first love."
She gulped down tears and took another deep breath.
"But death followed me, everywhere I went. We were hunting one day, when a stampede of wild horses suddenly came. They killed him."
She sobbed at the second memory of death in her life, as she looked up at Thorgrim. She wanted to keep him away from any danger. She didn't want to lose him...
"I don't want that to happen to you either, Thorgrim. Please... don't go away from my side. Please...."
She broke in a storm of tears and felt she couldn't carry on...

thorgrim listend intently.
"don't worry" he said and cuddled her as hard as he could.
"i have met death once before...and i do not fear it"
then on a lighter tone he said.
"besides im pretty hard to kill." and he continued to cuddle her with all his strength nearly in tears him self "i will always be here for you no mtter what happens for i have overcome death and i will protect you from those whom seek to harm you and do my best to destroy them i only hope this is enougth for you" then he kissed the top of her head.
"i will not leave your side ever..." and closed his eyes and began to cry himself for the firstr time in mellenia.great drops of pure sadness and love fell from his blank eyes."i...promis you this" he finished.

She joined his cuddle and sobbed into his shoulder.
"I don't want to lose you...I don't want to lose you," she kept on saying. Thorgrim was so kind to her in her situation. She never knew how much he could care. He was a Lich, but she didn't care. The love he gave her was overwhelming and Kirana was more than amazed by that...

thorgrim continues to hug his beautiful girlfriend and strokes her hair back lovingly and wispers.
"you won't lose me i promise you won't lose me.." he is still crying.
"i thought i had forgotten how to cry..." he says gentaly.
he lift's her head up and wipes her tears away lovingly
"why don't you transform into a dragon and we play a game" he suggests.
"would that make you feel better?"

She raised her tear-stained face to his and was shocked.
"You're crying!" she cried, putting her hand on his face, touched once more.
"The prospect of a game is tempting though." She smiled and stood up, her face dry and sunny. It then frowned in concentration, as she transformed into a beautiful ice dragon, which said, "What game is it?" Her voice was deeper that usual, and her breath was cold and icy as she breathed the fresh air around her.
The grass around her frosted a little, as her presence she lay down, nugding Thorgrim.

thorgrim felt comforted by the cold aura.
He smiled up at her great beautiful scaled face and strokes her.
"how about...chase to get your adrenalin pumping or maby tag ? or hide and seek ? something to make you feel powerful and strong and im open to suggestions" he said as he kisses the end of her long face lovingly.

"Well," Kirana mused, "I dunno."
She sat and thought well about what she wanted to do. She got a very good idea.
"Hey, why don't I transform you into a dragon, then we can play tag in the air?"
She thought it was a good idea and was excited by it.

thorgrim smiled.
"okay then do what you want" he gigles and hugs what he can of her.
he gets ready and h too is very excited by the prospect of being more like his lover,

She closed her gold eyes, and concentrated once more on changing Thorgrim. She was excited to see what kind of dragon he was. When the transformation was over, she opened her eyes again to see a success... the most beautiful dragon she ever saw...

he was amazed by his state he was a slightly smaller purple dragon with orange eyes and large bat like wings and a very symetrical scale pattern with black specs on his face.
"wow..." he said looking at the talons that were once his hands.
"this is amazing.." he said as he took of and looked down at her beautiful form.
"come on then...lets play." he said and waited in the air for his lover to join him in the game.

"You like it?" she asked happily as she took flight. The air was cold around her, and loved the slight breeze playing on her longer face as she zooted along playfully, going around in loops and twirls.
She was a flexible dragon, and could squeeze in the tightest of spaces and do almost anythins in the air. The air was her home, her dwelling. She never wanted to leave it... It was Heaven.

thorgrim flew to her and said "arn't we quit the icy angle..."he looks at her large and strong body. he nearly falls out of the sky as he was so enchanted by her he had stoped flaping his wings he blushed and looked at her."err how about some lessons ? before we play?"

Kirana giggled. Well, it mean't to be one... It came out as a little roar of laughter.

"All right. I forgot that you've never flown before!"

She flapped her wings a little slower, for Thorgrim to see.
"Up and down. Up and down," she said slowly. "Keep flying in rythm, it'll help a lot to balance yourself."

She was happy to have a lot of fun and to help people. It's what she's always wanted to do...

Thorgrim tries his best to copy her and get the hang of it.
"wow this is hard...." he flys bumblingly over to kirana and gives her a kiss
"tag" he teases.

Kirana giggled. Or snorted really. You can't really giggle while you're in dragon form can you?

"You just need to get the hang of it, and we won't play properly until you can fly like this," said Kirana, twirling in the air, and went through the air at such fast speeds, you could only see a bluish blur, dancing like a ribbon in the wind...

thorgrim looked at his girlfried as she danced in the air it was a truly beautiful sight to behold.
"my your breath taking..." he wispers in her ear.
then starts to practise untill he gets it right.
"look look i can do it" he yelled exitedly as he flew over to kirrana

Kirana laughed deeply and said, "Come lets take a break."

She landed gracefully on the ground and changed back into human form. Her hair fell about her lightly and her dress blew lightly in the wind. She looked at Thorgrim and held her hand out to him.

Suddenly a fireball dropped out of the sky and everything went black...
