Title: Exile
Description: 50 years......

Zilfer - April 23, 2008 09:19 PM (GMT)
Zilfer sat at a table enjoying elegant fruits, at a table of his fellow elves talking about their time out among the woods. It was a peaceful time for zilfer having only to protect the boarders from almost nothing, there would be an occasional wanderer ever now and then but nothing of importance. Zilfer's friend Elenai sat across the table, enjoying dinner as well as the sun was setting out in the distance from their tree top village. "What's the matter zilfer? Are you fantasizing about fair maiden's again?" Zilfer looked over at Elenai smirking. "No, not quite." Said zilfer mischievously. Elenai shook his head and threw a grape at zilfer, who tilted his head aside dodging it. "Come on now, you should know me better then that Elenai!" Protested zilfer all the while keeping a smirk on his face.

Standing up Zilfer turned to Elenai and bowed slightly for a moment, it was getting late, and he'd rather not be late for night duty. "I bid you farewell Elenai, i have night duty." Elenai stood up as well as zilfer headed off. "Go in peace my brother." Zilfer heard as he headed off into the night. He threw up his dark black cloak over his head and headed off he would need to grab his bow before heading off into the tree tops. The moon was shining brightly tonight as zilfer silently proceeded to his station, he wondered if he would ever be called to do anything besides boring guard duty. He yearned for a more exciting life however it didn't appear like he would get one anytime soon. Zilfer sighed out loud as he grabbed a bow from the racks, and headed towards his post for the night, filling his free time with thoughts of the grand deeds that only legends tell about.

Tigaro - April 24, 2008 12:34 AM (GMT)
The scene was dark as Tigaro looked upon the elven house, his cloak was dark as the night and so was his skin. Fortunately, he could see in the dark while elves being able see far where at a slight disadvantage at night. Tigaro proceeded through the tree's keeping his scimitar sheathed and concealed as he approached the front line, he saw an elf guarding as usual but he seemed distant at the moment. Tigaro couldn't really blame the elf, guard duty was rather dull. However he did not know that this particular elf was his half brother. Tigaro moved forward through the tree's as silent as he could as he pushed past this elf and headed swiftly into the elven city passing between buildings and using large branches to pass in between trees.

Finally he arrived at the house he had wanted too, and upon looking in, he could see 2 elves sitting at a table holding a conversation. 1 was male and the other was a female, however only one of them was his target. Revenge filled Tigaro's mind with thoughts of murder and death. Why did he hesitate? Is this not why he was here? After a few moments he booked straight for the house and then jumped straight through the window that contained no glass. Landing on his back he rolled up drawing his scimitar from his back to unsheathed it in one swift movement. The two elves rose up almost instantly from the shock, and he could see fear on their faces.

"Who are you and why are you here?" Asked male elf stepping in front of the female elf. "Get out of the way fool.... I'm not here for you." The elven man drew a straight blade from his side and held it straight out in front of him pointing at his enemy. Tigaro didn't hesitate for a moment, his blade slashed forward in an arc knocking the man's blade aside and then Tigaro spun quickly slashing at the elf's open side, however the clank of metal could be heard as Tigaro's blade stopped short of it's target. "Whatever your reasons are.... you aren't leaving here alive drow." The elf pushed Tigaro's blade off to the side in a wide arc, and with a twirl the elf's blade was ready again and lunged forward at Tigaro's open side. Tigaro drew his scimitar close to him and twirled, only managing to block with the side of his blade as it hit against his rib because of the elf's blow. The battle sounds could be heard for a good distance, and the elven female had backed up and was watching the battle...... She seemed torn about something.....

Zilfer - April 26, 2008 05:10 AM (GMT)
Zilfer was day dreaming or, was it called night dreaming he wondered.... regardless he was picturing a fight between a great wizard and a great white dragon atop of vast mountain range. Their battle was raging and destroying the very mountain side of where the dragon and wizard fought, however zilfer soon heard clangs coming form the distance, and he thought that was weird for he wasn't imagining any sword fighting. That's about the time Zilfer snapped out of his trance and really began to listen, after listening for a few moments, there came the definite clank of 2 swords hitting each other. It was beyond the times of a normal duel, and perhaps there was a fight ensuing. It would be his hide if he didn't report it or try to prevent it so he hopped up and headed for the noises. As he drew closer the battle seemed to increase in momentum. As the noise of metal against metal and screeching of two blades coming together where becoming more frequent.

When Zilfer finally arrived it was a scene he didn't expect to see. A drow! here? how could a drow have gotten in? perhaps past another guard..... or maybe it was my fault...... The only thing the surprised him more was the battle was being fought in his own house to with his father fighting the drow's vicious attacks off. Drawing his own blade Zilfer prepared to enter the fray, however the sound of his katana blade coming from his sheath distracted both the drow and his father for a moment. "Zilfer stay back i can handle this, don't get involved!" His father warned. He did as his father ordered however he was ready to spring to the aid of his father, in a moments notice. Zilfer glanced over at his mother. "What's wrong mother....?" He received no answer......

Tigaro - April 26, 2008 05:24 AM (GMT)
Another elf had appeared, this situation wasn't making itself any better.... Tigaro took his chance as it presented itself. The male elf that was originally here had broke eye contact to tell the other elf to stay out of this situation which was the last mistake he would probably make. Tigaro's violet eye's flashed with the intent to kill as he swiftly took two steps forward and impaled at the male elf. Tigaro's blade swiftly fell into the man's chest and came out the back bloodied, making Tigaro's blade seem like a bloody sign of an assassin, which wasn't that far from the truth. The male elf's blade had come to block the blow by trying to bat it aside however by the time it had made contact with Tigaro's own it was too late. There was a brief moment of perfect silence where Tigaro enjoyed his victory over the lone elf protector, however it was short lived as he remembered the real reason he had come here.

His stance dropped into aggression as he turned and face the female elf, ignoring the newcomer who's blade was drawn. It was her time to pay for what she had done, to him, and his father. You.... who gave birth to me and then sent me off along with my father in fear of these light elves shall pay for abandoning us to the depths of the Underdark... Tigaro's blade raised above his head shining as it reflected the light from a candle lighting the room and then cold blue as the moon shown on the highest point of Tigaro's lifting arc. The moment was finally here..... the moment he had waited for long years to find out, and track down the elven woman, he did not care if there where elven guards to capture him after the deed. He was so absorbed in the moment that nothing else in the world matters as he switched his blades momentum and uttered his second sentence in this house. "The time of revenge has come mother...... Be strong." Be strong..... it echoed in a woman's voice from Tigaro's past......

Zilfer - May 3, 2008 01:11 AM (GMT)
Zilfer was shocked as the Drow savagely took his chance to gain an upper hand on his father while he was distracted, piercing his flesh and leaving his blade crimson on the otherside as his father looked down in shock as well, grabbing out at the drow but fell down as the scimitar slipped out of his body letting his body's blood flow free unto the ground. Zilfer rushed to his father, ignoring the drow for now, becuase he seemed to be staring at his mother. He wanted to see if his father was ok, however it was a quick and fatal blow. At least he died quickly..... zilfer thought closing his fathers eyes and looking up at the drow who raised his blade against his mother now.

"The time of revenge has come mother...... Be strong." said the drow, this shocked zilfer however he quickly moved in the way blocking the blow from the side with his katana blade stopping it before it could hit his mother. "I dont think so.... you've killed my father but you shall not take my mother as well...." Said Zilfer fiercely pushing as hard as he could to force the drow's scimitar upwards and then spinning his blade he slashed at the drows chest diagonally from the side hoping that the drow had been caught off guard from his sudden enterance between his target and him. "I dont know why you called her mother, but your not going to go around killing elves on my duty!" Said zilfer pondering the very question at the moment he said it. Could the drow really be related to him.... or was this just some psycho drow like everyone told him drows where like.

Ariea - May 3, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
:hi:

River, a calm elven women took attention to the fighting and hid within a 20 yards distance on a bench near another home. She was curious as ever, keeping her flute within a special spot on the side of her leg, well hidden. An male elf walked up her to her asking, "Whats going on?" while staring at the home. "We do not know." she spoke softly. the elf stood not paying much attention to what she had said. she pulled out her flute and swallowing her spit began to softly play a melody.

The male elf turned his attention to her, then back to the fight. Music creates themes more the death and sarrow, it's a way of life and knowlage.

Tigaro - May 3, 2008 02:03 AM (GMT)
The rush of his scimitar and then clank as metal against metal hit each other, sending a shock wave through the scimitar up to Tigaro's hand, as the elf pushed his blade high and slashed down diagonally. "I don't know why you called her mother, but your not going to go around killing elves on my duty!" spouted the elf as he slashed down, Tigaro didn't have time to respond to that right away as he dodged backwards, taking a wound across the chest, but not a fatal one, just one that would leave him bleeding slightly, as his heart raced. He had been SO close to his goal only to be foiled again by this elf. Wait.... did he say that she was his mother? That would mean....... Tigaro looked at this elf that now blocked his way to his mother, and his mother. They where brothers.... something inside Tigaro would not allow him to move.

Tigaro then steeled his mind as he knew the other elf would not hesitate to kill him, he would have to fight his way out of this. Tigaro put a hand to his chest, and used minor heal healing the slash from the elf he was fighting, and then prepared to fight. "I will not fight you brother, my vendetta is with our common mother." Said Tigaro knowing full well that it would probably not appeal to any side his brother might hold. Tigaro heard music start to play, and he hoped this had distracted his brother for a moment so that he could jump out the window as fast as he could and started to run quickly towards the outside of the village, he hoped to make it out before his brother could give chase.

Ariea - May 3, 2008 02:28 AM (GMT)
River stopped the flute watching the drow leave. she stood leaving the man to stand and walked over to the window seeing the damage. the smell of blood filling her nose just 10 yards away. puting the flute on her side, she put her hands on the window ceil and looked in. "We would like to assist you if givin permission." her eyes glancing around the room and then to zilfer.

What a dramatic happening... she thought May the gods be with you sir... She stared with a caring look into zilfer's grey eyes, sorta admireing his handsom appearence. to be a guard was a dangerous task, but to fail to protect loved ones must be even harder for one.

Zilfer - May 3, 2008 04:14 AM (GMT)
The drow seemed almost surprized that he had blocked that blow, and he put a hand up to his chest, that zilfer had cut open slightly making it bleed onto his cloths, however he seemed unfazed by the damage he had taken and then put his blackish hand to his chest and surprizingly used light magic! To heal his wounds. "I will not fight you brother, my vendetta is with our common mother." Said the drow, as gloomy music started to play on the outside of the house. Zilfer looked curious to see who would start playing and saw an elven female. He had only lost eye contact for a few moments, and Tigaro was already jumping out the window.

"What the..... damn." Zilfer said running to the window seeing the drow booking towards the tree's to get to the forest floor and get away. He looked back to his mother as if for convermation about what the drow had said. "He really is your brother.... Zilfer.... his name is Tigaro." As his mother said this yet anothercame inside the room. "Whoever he is, he will pay for killing father." Said zilfer turning to jump out the window. "Like all other criminals."

"We would like to assist you if givin permission." said the female elf as zilfer prepared to jump out the window, and zilfer looked at her a bit oddly. "What do you mean.... 'we'?" Zilfer looked back and saw tigaro disappear in the distance. "Nevermind, if your coming then come on!" he then jumped through the window and took off in pursuit, as soon as his feet hit the wooden walkways of Yomenïampa.

Ariea - May 3, 2008 05:34 AM (GMT)
with a nod, river folowed quickly behind zilfer, keeping up with him fine. As a wanderer tho, she had nothing more to do, helping someone else was a change for her. she had observed what had happend carfully believeing she understood. "He who shares half your blood..." River starting catching her breathe a lil jumping over a ditch. "You wish to kill...? zilfer...?" she asked recalling what his mother had called him before while they where at the house.

I do not understand Revange, but families should not fight, should they not? River thought questioning herself. since she could seem to only remember what made the biggest impact on her life, The pain that Zilfer felt, river couldn't. but even with the many questions she had, she admired that he had something he loved and was more then willing to get revange for. without troubling herself farther, she decided to keep up with the now. Killing him was a good thing? some things river just didn't understand.

Tigaro - May 3, 2008 07:03 PM (GMT)
Tigaro glanced back only after having taken a leap of faith off a ledge of the elven village, and landed grabbing onto a great tree, and starting to slide slowly down. He looked back and saw 2 elves in pursuit. 1 was a female, and the other was his brother that he had just met. If only we had met under different circumstances.... Tigaro jumped off the tree about after 10 feet up from the ground and then started away from the village. He hoped that his pursuers would stop and wait for back up, or that their knowledge of the terrine wouldn't prove to be an asset for them.

Tigaro noticed there was a slight incline in the land, and turned his running towards that direction. He hoped that the incline meant that there was a cliff nearby where it would be easy to make them think he had died from a plunge that would surely hurt, but hopefully not kill him. It was night time so he did not try to use the brush as cover as he ran up the slowly growing incline. Lets hope i escape this yet alive...... perhaps it was foolish of me to come here in the first place....

There was a thick brush up ahead, and Tigaro bolted straight through it and came out into a clearing, and saw the cliff ahead. Tigaro thought he heard his pursuers nearby so he started to pick up speed, that he knew his pursuers would not have unless they had special training like him. The flat rock made loud noise as his boots slammed into the ground, almost making sure they would know his position just by sound. Tigaro just hoped one of them did not have a bow or this might prove a bit futile. Here goes nothing.....

Zilfer - May 3, 2008 07:20 PM (GMT)
"He who shares half your blood..." Said the female elf that zilfer had never seen around the elven village on all his guard duty. For that matter he wondered why she was up this late, not that there was a curfew, but most elves did tend to sleep at night. Half my blood..... thought zilfer, still trying to get over the fact he was related to a drow. What did that say about himself? Zilfer turned a corner with the female elf and saw his brother 'Tigaro' jump towards a tree and then slide down. "If he shares half my blood, he doesn't show it." Said zilfer admiring the cunning of this man, but zilfer did exactically what his brother Tigaro had done, however he wasn't as swift as this man. Zilfer didn't care if the female elf could keep up or not, he just wanted to get to the man who had killed his father. Once he reached the ground, he looked and the drow seemed to take off with tremendous speed. Speed that zilfer would have never thought possible normally even for an elf. Zilfer headed towards the area he had saw Tigaro's figure disappear to, not looking back at all.

The sound Tigaro had heard was not zilfer and the female elf, however zilfer's friend, who had gone out into the woods and heard the commotion in the village. Seeing the drow he took aim with his bow and let it fly straight at the drow, making it land right infront of him, as Elenai pulled infront of the drow. "Thought you where escaping drow?" Said Elenai drawing a straight sword pointing it at his opponent. "I know my friend Zilfer would love to be here right now capturing a drow." Elenai's bow now laid onto the ground besides him, as he blocked the path to the cliff. "So how's this going to go down.... drow."

Ariea - May 3, 2008 08:14 PM (GMT)
River darted off with intense speed, quickly reacting to zilfer. keeping her eyes open and watchful of which way tigaro had gone. the tree felt slick under her feet, but keeping her balence, she made it alright. River keep close to zilfer withinking of a few things that might help. but not sure if she should.

We wonder if we could keep up... she thought thinking about how things where going so far. river wasn't ment for speed, more of a thief and distraction. maybe her idea's could be of some use, but first she must see if they are needed.

Tigaro - May 3, 2008 11:14 PM (GMT)
Tigaro had but 10 paces to go before he could plunge off the cliff, into the darkness. Suddenly a dark black arrow, accompanied by a silvery tipped arrowhead slammed down into the ground in front of him making him stop short of the cliff. Another elf emerged in front of him obscuring the path towards, the drop off, and his freedom. Figures..... so close yet so far... He looked the elf over for his battle prowess, and guessing he was as adept as most elves where. "Thought you where escaping drow?" said the elf drawing his single handed blade and thrust it up forward towards Tigaro's chest who grinned, trying to put some doubt into the elf's mind. Tigaro positioned his scimitar in front of him so that he could easily defend if he made the first move. "So how's this going to go down.... drow." Said the elf, as Tigaro realized the other 2 elves he had lost for the moment. Tigaro smirked this time at the elf's comment before speaking. "I think you already know the answer to that...."

Tigaro slashed outwards low going in an upward arc towards the midnight sky. His movements would be blurred because of all the shadows of the night, however dawn was approaching so he had to be quick about this. The elf parried Tigaro's blade to the side and feinted a low jab, and instead did a horizontal slash at Tigaro's waist. Tigaro jumped backwards as the blow barely missed, ignoring the feint, for he saw what it really was, and jumped back into the fray slashing down with his raised hand, to try and slash the elf down the middle, however his blade met with metal as the elf simply pulled his hilt in front of him catching Tigaro's blade with 1 hand, and then punched him aside with his own free hand. Tigaro spun around from the blow, trying to catch his balance as he turned around seeing the elf in a confident stance before him.

Zilfer - May 4, 2008 06:06 AM (GMT)
Zilfer was surprized the female elf had kept up with him. If anything there was more to her then met the eye, however zilfer contiuned on aimlessly for awhile. He had lost the trail of the drow not seeing any forms of tracks or bushes russeling anywhere now. He could see well in the dark and far, unlike most elves which couldn't see in the dark too well. "He got away...." Said Zilfer as he put a hand against the soft bark of a tree, catching his breath slightly with 3 breaths before turnning to face the female elf. "Lost his trail...." He then leaned against the tree he had his hand on before, and closed his eyes thinking and listening hoping that some sounds would cut through the silent of the night, however the night was becoming grey slowly, as the sun was coming up. I wonder what will happen in the village when everyone wakes up for the morning and hears about this... I bet i'll never hear the end of it. Thought zilfer.

Elenai wore a soft smile, even though he was fighting this drow for real, he seemed to be at ease, like it was a friendly sparing match, however he knew that the drow would think twice with some of his moves now before attacking him. Elenai had no intention of letting this drow see his tactics and style of combat, before defeating him quickly. Elenai switched his sword to the other hand rushing forward with a quick double step, and slashed downwards with all his strenght hoping the drow would block and numb his arm a bit. "Come on... is that all you have drow?" Elenai would then try to follow up with a quick jab to the stomack hopefully to catch the drow with a fatal wound and end this encounter quickly, before anyone showed up to steal his glory.

Ariea - May 4, 2008 06:28 AM (GMT)
"You will find him," river tryed to incoraged him panting and looking through the foest carfully. not a sound other then the animals and wind seemed to blow through the trees. she leaned agenst the tree cauchting her breathe, her heart pounding roughly. We hate running... River thought remembering why she'd always been so patient about geting from one place to another. river droped down on her knees to rest till he was ready to move again.

"What is it, to have family?" river questioned looking at him talking silent to the sounds around them would still ecco from a far. with many questions, she though this would be a smile question as they awaited for a noise or maybe smell, to give them a direction.

Tigaro - May 4, 2008 06:58 AM (GMT)
Tigaro felt his jaw, after regaining his balance from the punch to the face and looked at the elf who looked like he was having a good time. Hmpf.... we'll see how long you are laughing... thought Tigaro as he pulled his scimitar around, but as he did the elf went for a downward slash with his opposite arm. He presumed this arm would be weaker then the previous and thus easier to block, however it appeared as if it wasn't the case as the vibrations from the collision shook through his scimitar straight through his arm numbing it for a moment as the elf did a lunge for his belly. He managed to slip to the side quickly spinning and as the elf Elenai went by him, he managed to elbow Elenai to the back of the head, sending him off balance, as he spun around slashing at Elenai. The elf skillfully twisted his hand to block the blow but could not fully block the blow as it slashed his back leaving a good mark, on his back. Choosing to ignore the elf's previous comment, to himself, Tigaro began to fight in a way to get himself closer to the ledge. He attacked with fierce determination, sending blow after blow at Elenai who had to really focus in order to keep up with him. "I've already killed one elf this evening.... i can mark up another tally just for you." said Tigaro going forward with a wild and huge downwards slash with his scimitar to try and finish the match with a mighty blow. He came down upon Elenai, who was low from a slash at Tigaro's legs, and as the blow was about to hit his target slipped out of his downward arc slipping around his defenses. Tigaro saw what was coming before the elf had even begun to swing his blade.... this was the end.... there would be no escaping this. Failure..... Gods show mercy upon my fate.

Zilfer - May 4, 2008 07:32 AM (GMT)
Zilfer looked to the elf girl once again, as she spoke to him. "You will find him." the elven girl said to him. He couldn't help but smirk, she was just trying to keep his hopes up and he knew it but he decided it would be better to let her think it had worked. "Yeah, he couldn't have gotten far away from here, I'll be able to find him soon." he responded to her, and then looked up into the tree's of his home forest. It was beautiful place to live in, however this night it seemed so unhomely as he looked into it. The next thing zilfer realized is that he was surprized of what the elven girl asked him. "What is it, to have family?" Being caught off guard by this question Zilfer struggled to find an imediate answer, he wondered what had happened to this elven girl, and if she lost her parents a long time ago. At that thought he felt a certain kinship with this stranger, they had both lost people close to them. However a damper came unto this thought process as he realized she probably never knew her parents in the first place, so she was not like him at all. "To have a family..... it's ok. Like having people you can count on anytime you need." said zilfer finally. An akward silence ensued making zilfer close his eyes once more and listen to a beat in his head. His eye's flew open as he realized this wasn't a beat, it was a sword battle, he took off in the dirrection of the sound. "Come on! I think I hear him." said zilfer.

Coming out of the bushes, he saw Elenai fighting tigaro, as he ran towards them. "Elenai!" yelled zilfer heading straight for the battle full speed. Elenai didn't look at zilfer as he dodged Tigaro's downward slash. "Dont interfer zilfer, i want to take down this drow by myself." said Elenai, and then as he went for the slash "This is it!" Zilfer at this point had made it up to the battle, and did not stop. "Elenai no!" Zilfer slammed straight into Tigaro making them both fall and stumble over the cliff ledge falling into a long drop below and then into the tree's hitting alot of branches as it slowed their descent to the ground, however one of the impacts knocked zilfer flat out cold before he reached the bottom. Elenai's slash hadn't stopped and zilfer was now bleeding from a rather nasty wound on his back. Whatever his hatred towards his brother Tigaro was.... it wasn't that of death.

Ariea - May 4, 2008 06:00 PM (GMT)
As soon as zilfer had darted off, she too did, thinking about the though if family. to have someone that counts on you? River took her mind off of it and placed her mind in the now. now feeling he trust her a lil better, and with more trust th him, she was thinking about how this would work. if there was already a sword battle, it might be to there avantage, or agenst it.

as soon as they had arived, she saw tigaro and a boy. with the words spoken, River was ready to move but not expecting zilfer to jump in the way of the elf boy's attack. Zilfer... as soon as they went over the cliff she darted off like a lightning bolt responding quickly and jumping over to help. she gasped a the fall, but remembered what she was doing. River grabed zilfer behind attempting to heal the wound slightly, but with only being able to lightly heal him, she held him from ehind overing his wound as they hit the tree's below, proecting his wound from the branches, keeping her back facing the ground.

River endured the pain from the tree brances cuting and scratching her. hiting the ground, his weight and the cold earth knoced the wind out of her. she pushed zilfer aside an unable to regain her breathe, she passed out on her side facing away from zilfer.

Tigaro - May 5, 2008 12:50 AM (GMT)
Tigaro was prepared for the sword to slash him in half when suddenly from the side he was hit by a body flinging himself in the way. The motion of the tackle caused him to fall off the cliff. He reached his hand out to try and grab the ledge but the weight of zilfer yanked his arm from it's hold and they fell down towards the tree line. This is gonna hurt..... Tigaro forced himself away form zilfer's hold in mid air so that he would be able to try and grab at branches to stop himself, however the last thing he saw before his back was hit by the top branches of the tree's was an elven girl grabbing onto zilfer to try and protect him from the blunt of the tree blows.

Tigaro's world was flipped upside down as the tree branches hit him it send him tubbling unable to tell which way was up, and which was down. He frailed out with his hands hoping to catch a lucky branch and stop his descent. Finally he caught a branch and held on tightly, as gravity tried to pull him to the ground. With a snap he felt his shoulder dislocate, however he was able to hold on for a few more seconds to completely stop. He grunted in pain, as he looked down and saw that the ground was about 10 feet below him. Not quite a fatal drop but it would hurt...... he began to slip and prepared to hit the ground of the forest floor below. As tigaro hit the ground the wind rushed out of him. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to have come here..... so far he hadn't accomplished much except murder.

Breathing in a great breath, tigaro felt his chest and stood up seeing the female elf and zilfer knocked out. The female elf had healed zilfer's wound to that of a scratch, at that he smiled, it appears zilfer had friends at least, unlike tigaro. He put his hand above the female elf and used heal minor wounds, to heal most of her wounds into nothing, and then nudged zilfer's body, and then finally used some dew to splash it in zilfer's face to wake him up. He owed his brother this much so he wouldn't drop into a coma. "Wake up, Zilfer." Said tigaro as he splashed zilfer's face. "You wont be able to go back now since you helped me escape. Surely they will punish you."

Zilfer - May 5, 2008 04:26 AM (GMT)
Through the darkness zilfer heard a voice. "Wake up, Zilfer." it was harsh, and unfamilar to zilfer as he squinted a bit trying to regain consiousness. He felt water on his face splash, and that made his eyes jump open seeing a drow above him as it spoke to him. He had forgotten where he was for a moment. "You wont be able to go back now since you helped me escape. Surely they will punish you." said the drow as zilfer's memory realized all of what had happened to him this night. This caused some confusion in zilfer, for he had heard drows where cruel in nature. Why would this one be any different? Did he feel some sort of connection, becuase we are brothers? wondered zilfer secretly in his head, as he looked over the drows features for the very first time. It was funny, they where half brothers, but one was dark with light hair, and he himself was almost like a polar opposite. Had it been under different circumstances he might have laughed at that thought, however it wasn't the time or place.

Tigaro's words finally clicked into his brain. He had helped a drow escape, there probably would be a search party for his half brother, and if he showed up without the drow, they would assume he let the drow get away. If they knew they where half brothers, who knew how much more punishment he might take from a council. They had a witness of Elenai, while he was zilfer's friend, he would not stand up for any injustices. Zilfer had always known Elenai as the type to uphold the law no matter what. He had praised Elenai for this very trait, however he wished his friend did not have that trait at this very moment. "So be it, i will accept whatever punishment I am dealt for saving one of my kin." He said, almost sure that the drow would know nothing of what he spoke about, and would be utterly confused as to why an elf like him would risk his neck for a drow that had killed his father, and tried to kill his mother. "Dont be mistaken about me, I will have to seek revenge upon you." Contiuned zilfer looking his half brother with fire in his eyes. "I will come to battle you, and you'd best be ready. There will be no interuptions the next time."

Zilfer now looked down upon the female elf on the forest floor. It appeared she had taken the blunt of the tree's blows for him, if his memory served him right. "I best take her back to the village." said zilfer walking over and bending down to pick up the rather light elf in his arms before nodding to Tigaro his goodbye. He wondered if he would be killed for this, and what would happen to his family.

Ariea - May 6, 2008 12:45 AM (GMT)
River, passed out in her memories, had slightly awakin just enough to peek at the drow, just before falling back into a deep sleep. like always, her mind wandered about the now. knowing, even in her sleep, what would have to happen. She being another one in this happening, she too should have a say. then her mind blanking out, the lack of sleep for the past few years had still been at her throat, and for once River was sleeping without nightmare to haunt her.

Tigaro - May 6, 2008 04:29 AM (GMT)
Tigaro saw his half brother's eyes shoot open, as the water splashed upon his face lightly, and then backed off to let him get up. As zilfer looked up at him, he looked back at zilfer staring the elf down, absorbing his features down like that of a photograph so he would never mistake a common elf for that of his half brother. It seemed that zilfer himself was doing the same, or was in deep thought as he picked up his scimitar that had fallen through the tree's and landed blade side down straight into the dirt. Lucky this didn't land on me thought tigaro, as he picked it up with his only good hand and sheathed it before turning back to zilfer. "So be it, i will accept whatever punishment I am dealt for saving one of my kin." said zilfer to him and he stood there for a moment thinking of what the elves might do to his half brother, however it wasn't his decision to make and so he shrugged. "Do what you will brother, I however had no reason to stick around and get arrested. If you wish to, then go ahead, throw yourselves at the mercy of the elves.... trust me. You wont like it." he said dropping into drowish at the last part of "You wont like it."

"Dont be mistaken about me, I will have to seek revenge upon you." commented his brother soon afterwards, and tigaro looked deep into zilfer's eyes and saw the fiery hatred he had incurred from this one singular elf. "I will come to battle you, and you'd best be ready. There will be no interuptions the next time." zilfer said, and tigaro's response was swift and cold. "So be it.... and when you come as my enemy, and not of my blood I hold nothing back, Zilfer." with that he headed off bowing slightly, it was probably the last 'friendly' meeting they would have ever in their lives. After moving through the forest a good 100 meters he put his body against a tree, and then slammed his shoulder against it, to put it back into it's socket. He winced in great pain, but did not let out any yell, just a grunt. He let out a breath of relief and tried to move his arm in a circular motion as he would eventually ease the muscles to later. Looking to the horizon, the sun was now coming up, and now he finally began to run once again, with his unbelievable speed away from this elf infested woods. He may one day return to wreck havoc, however that day was far from now......
