Sitting at the table quietly, having just been here a few nights ago and met the lovely jade, a rather dark young lady in nature but none the less Alacult seemed attracted to her to say the least. smiling a bit his copper index finger ran along the top of his mug circling it slowly a small smile forming at the left edge of his mouth as he grabbed the mug with his good hand and sloshed down some of the sweet mead inside the mug, placing the large stained glass mug back onto the table, he glanced over to the side his faded red eyes locking with those of his albino cat Tibbit, smiling softly he locked his fingers together resting his elbows against the table, leaning forward slightly towards his cat that was resting quietly on the table next to him moving its tail slowly back and fourth.
"..And what are you staring at Tibbit?.."
Speaking in a rather playful manner, he leaned his head onto his good hand heaving a small sigh, reaching over with his clockwork hand he stroked the soft head of the cat with his pointer finger for a moment, a smile playing upon his lips. Glancing down at his belongings leaning down against the table in the conner of the room he eyed the case to his lute, a soft smile seemed to raise a bit more as he glanced around the pub, not many people here yet, but it should pick up soon to say the least.
Reaching down he pulled the worn, dark green case up onto the table, Tibbit shooting him an annoyed look moved to one of the chairs next to Alacult, curling back up and laying down looking up at her master with a confused look playing upon the cats face. Glancing down at the cat as he unlocked the case, he pulled the polished wooden lute from its protective case, then pushing the case onto the floor in front of his table softly, the case still open as if asking for something, maybe gold?
Standing on his chair he glanced around at the few people that were their, and simply gave a small shrug, hopping onto the table he moved to the other side taking a seat letting his legs hang over the side gently. he pulled his lute up, holding it in both hands he moved his good hand along the strings near the top, his copper clockwork hand worked the strings near the bottom as he closed his eyes gently letting his soul pour and fly into his music, falling into a very relaxed state. he began to sing softly after a minute or so of playing the instrument, and the thing was, he was rather good at it, now not the best per say but very good none the less, his voice soft and dripping with emotion that seemed to carry on through the entire pub.
"..Happiness is just a word to me, And it might have meant a thing or two....If I'd known the difference.."
Alacult paused in his singing, his simple faded red eyes closed off from the rest of the world as he played just like the rest of him, moving with the beat of his own tune, his movements subtle, yet noticeable all the same, after the short pause he continued singing like a bard, greedy for attention, yet for Alacult it was not like that, he simply enjoyed the music him self .
"..Emptiness, a lonely parody, And my life, another smokin' spell, A sign of my indifference.."
Lost in his own song, he played on, paying no mind to those who might have come or those who might of gone for that matter, all that seemed to be real to Alacult right now was his own music, and his soul. Pressing on his continued to play his melody.
Summer was drawing closer Arthur could feel it in the wind. It was almost time for him to get back into the performing circuit> HE only perforemed in the summer and his money was running low so it was time to go back at it again. HE had reached Lomedor a few hours ago. Few had seen his coming but in a few days they would hear of it. HE came to Lomedor to perform because here a performer could be made if he was good. Sure Arthur earned enough in his travels and he had many stacks hidden away in the caves of the dragons he had killed but Arthur prefered this method. It kept his mind of some of his dragon urges. Summer was the dragon mating season and even though only half he still felt the same urge every dragon would soon be feeling once summer came.
Arthur shook his head tryign to get the thought out his head as he looked up at Inn. THe innkeeper would probably have anythign Arthur would need ready and he doubted it would be busy yet anytime soon. Arthur opened the door and heard singing and a flute playing the melody was touching and entoxicating. Arthur almost transformed almsot were the words. He needed control for the moment he stepped into the inn and pup without notice and sat at a chair and listened to the man playing. HE was good very good Arthur could probably learn a thing or to from him. HE then noticed the strange arm the man had and his gaze and mind focused on that.
When the man finished Arthru clapped with the rest but the mans arm facinated him. HE had seen things most people would never see in there lifetimes yet this. THis was new to him, it was said dwarves could make such things but this did not look it. The odd arm gleamed in the light and Arthur wondered about it. He order a drink and then again turned his attention to the man wondering how he had such a device on his arm.
