Title: Fake Futures
Description: Private for Munio

Valens - April 18, 2008 03:00 PM (GMT)
"You will grow attached to a great power, and use this great power to bring you to wealth."

Valens, dark voice echoed across the empty tent, his hand held loosely underneath the mans palm, so it faced towards him. His eyes were closed and his head was tilted slightly looking towards the roof. The man shifted in excitement at his future to come was told to him. He would be disappointed. Valens words were mere shadows of what the mans true future most likely was. But he told them what they wanted to hear. True answers didn't get a true pay. False answer was what made him able to continue his journey. False answers of fame and fortune is what gave him his money. And false answers is what he gave them.

Valens shuttered, and released his palm, his eye fluttering open as if he was a new born infant. He reached into his mental powers, and used his telekinesis to push his own chair backwards, in a dramatic display of psychic prowess. The man gasped as his own personal psychic was sent backwards, and onto the ground. Valens stood, and looked on sternly. "These forces are serious, you are to become a great and a powerful man." The mans eye's shone with a wonderful brilliance of his prospects of his wealth to come. "When," he breathed in an excited tone. "I'm...I'm not sure," Valens muttered, rubbing his temples as if he had actually drawn from the mysterious psychic powers within him. "But I can tell you this, you need to try hard in your life, and strive for success," he added. He didn't like lying, but his one word of advice could help him overcome his lifestyle of lying and cheating.

"Thank you!," the man said, standing up from his chair with so much enthusiasm that it was sent flying backwards. "Oh," he muttered, picking it up, and reaching his hand in his pocket, and pulling out a handful of coins. "Thank you again!," he added, as he raced through the door, sending the curtains flying. Valens nodded sagely as he left, acting as if his word meant anything. He sighed, and walked over to the pile of coins, and picked them up. He fingered them with his rough hands. They were merely shadows of his real goal, something he needed to strive and become stronger. When he was powerful, and destroyed what he had sworn he must, he would return the favor to the world, but for now, he had to go.

He concentrated deep within his mind, drawing up energy. His body seemed to be pulled inside something, something deep, dank, and dark. His energy seemed to be ripped away. He closed his eyes, and then opened them. He was at the town gates. His mastery of teleportation was useful. He was now right were he wanted to be. He picked up his staff that he had left propped against the wall, and began to walk towards the center of town, hoping to find one last stop to earn some money, so he could continue his quest, his desire, his life.
(sorry about shortness :p )
