Okay. So, I'm looking at the stage 1 evos for Curin's root golems. Assuming I get all the way up to the root golem armour, do I then have to buy another root golem if I want one that also latches onto my back? And is the change for each level permanent or can it be used each time you need it, reverting back to root golem form when necessary? Or, once you've bought all the levels of stage 1, can it use each one as necessary? :wacko:
Also, is stage 2 exclusive to the stage 1, level 1 root golem form (where it latches onto your back) or can the lashes be extended from any of the stage 1 forms?

-now I can't be certain what you mean by a seperate Golem attaching to your back, nor the reason why that is needed, so let me elaborate in case I cover your query.
The Golem can move near-instantly, just shy of teleporting. But I seriously frown on this being abused, keep it fair, keep it real. Please bear in mind the Root-Golem is a tiny living thing albeit blessed by Curin and Lothlomendil with these remarkable abilities to aid you. It has limited strength and manna to execute these abilities. I do not want to see lashes being employed like bullets from a semi-automatic rifle. Your Root-Golem grows tired, and must be planted, watered, and allowed to rest and recuperate.
Employed in Torques mode, or any advance of armour, the Golem is fixed in place, -bearing in mind (and this was done deliberately) the Golem already posseses Shift Bulk by the time you can Summon Armour, so it can move swiftly to your needs. Remember the Root-Golem may prefer to attach itself to your wrist, or your waist. You two are symbiotes, you are both individuals, so there will be unique nuances in your relationship.
Even as Armour, the Golem can summon lashes, and from where-ever it might have attached to yourself, be it your arm, or your leg to save you from falling...

The Golem transforms at need, reverting -once it is no longer needed, or when it is exhausted, to it's natural form. I should add that Torques-form (in what ever manifestation) is also natural.

The lashes you gain from level 2 onwards can be summoned in any form.
I think that to really clear your confusion, it needs pointed out that these evolutions are simply abilities that the golem gains. It can use these abilities at will. Therefore once your golem possesses the ability to form armor, it is not permanently stuck in the shape of armor. It is still a root golem, a living creature that shifts and changes to suit your needs.
