The day was early. The sun was bright but still low to the ground. The beach was almost empty. Very few people around at this time of day. There were a few clouds in the sky. The sun had moved behind one right now and casted a wide shadow over some of the beach. Midori, who enjoys less crowded places, was sitting on a rock that jutted out of the ground a few feet. He was looking over the water. He was in thought, wondering why he was even there. The only answer he got was that it was peaceful here and barely any people. The people that were here were not close by ether. They were futher down the beach.

Midori yawned and guessed that he would stay here untill more people started to show up. If one or two, maybe even three showed up at this part of the beach, Midori would not mind unless they ment him harm. But once it did get crowded, if it would still this early into spring, he would get going.

Midori turned around on the rock and looked towards the city. He hated the city, not that much nature around. He looked down to see some grass growing closer to where the sand ended. Mirodi moved his right hand back and forth in a swift but slow motion making the grass follow his moments. He liked to see the grass move sometimes, and there wasn't enough wind so he moved it himself.

The daywas early as Ayra walked across the sandy beaches.She looked left and right looking at the very few people who gathered there early this cloulded morning.Ayra liked the quiet and enjoyed every moment of it....but she wished there was someone to talk to.She let out a sigh that no one heard and continued walking.

She stoped by the water and bent down.She looked really close and saw little fishes swiming.She smiled to her self.Only if her life was as simple as a fish.She then passed her hand in the water making riples flw through the water before standing up.

She was walking and enjoying the breeze when she noticed someone sitting on a rock.She walked to the person hoping to be cured of this boredom.She stopped infront of this person and greeted
"Hi um....how are you?"

Midori put his hand down after a while. His hand got tired. He was going to lie down and sleep for a minute when someone walked in front of him and greet themself at random. Midori didn't expect for someone to just come up to him like that. "Umm, Hi? Fine I guess." Midori said shyly while examaning the girl infront of him. She was an Elf.

Midori wanted to ask why she just came up and started talking to him but he didn't want to sound rude. He was not even sure if that would sound rude. He was still getting use to talking with the bigger people. It was difficult sometimes. He was still trying to get over his shyness so he thought he would speak his mind to a bit. "Not to sound rude or anything, but why did you come and greet yourself to me?" he asked with pure curiousity in his voice.

Midori flapped his wings slightly and slowly thinking incase he wanted to fly to eye level of this person if they wanted to talk more. He was not moving his wings enough to take flight, but another idea came to him and he stopped the movement of his wings. If she wanted to talk to him more he could just use Polymorph Self on himself making him human or elf.

She looked at him closer and saw that he was a fairy.She smiled at his answer and continued smiling down at him.The brezze around them blew her hair around.She noticed his shyness and took that into account in her following words.

"Thats good.And i came to talk to you because you seem like an intresting person to talk to.So I want to talk to you more...now.If thats ok with you."

she seems a little happy because she can finally talk to someone.The truth of it was is was that she was a tad shy.She even did her best to hid her shyness.

She keept on smiling but then a red hue crept on her face...
Great.....my shyness is taking place...yet again..

Midori felt uneasy when she kept smiling at him like that. Midori seemed to ignore her words slightly as he got up and moved to the side of the rock making room for her to sit if she wanted to. He sat back down then answered the last part of her statement. "Yeah, you can talk to me if you want." he said look around for a distaction so he would not have to make eye contact.

Midori still felt nervous about talking, he decided to introduce himself atleast. "W-well what is your name anyways? Mine is Midori." he said sheepishly still looking away for that distaction which did not come.

She see the room to sit so she sits by him on the rock.She lessened her smile a bit.

"Thank you.And my name is Ayra.You....um....seem to be nervous about some thing.Can i help?"

All of a sudden a BIG wave came crashing doxn on them and they both got soaked.
She was amazed by the big wave....it happend all of a sudden.

She spat some of the water that got into her mouth."WOW!...I did't quite expect that.I am soaked.Are you ok?"she asks looking liked she reallyed care.

i wonder....can he get bigger???she thinks

Midori noticed she had sat down next to him. She spoke to him again telling him who she was and asking about why he was nervous. Looking at the elf he showed a smile himself. He was going to answer when a wave struck where they were sitting. Midori held onto the rock as tight as he could. He was sweapt off though his efforts.

The wave was withdrawing now and Midori jumped out of the water slightly flapping his wings that were wet. He got out and flew back over to the rock where Ayra was. He did not want to sit back down on the rock for it might happen again. He thought about using his polymorph spell again. Quitily saying the words quickly for it he turned himself into a human the same age as himself and keeping his apearance, just losing his wings. About five feet tall and one inch.

Midori forgot to get near the ground for this and fell on his face in the sand. He blushed from embarrshment of falling prey to his own spell in some way. He rubbed the sand out of his hair and sat back down on the rock. "Yeah, I am fine. Also to answer your question, I am nervous because I am slightly scared of most of the bigger folk. Even if they don't mean me any harm sometimes." he admited turning away not showing his face that was still red from blushing.

she looked in amazement as Midori changed into a human.She rarely sees this happen.She straightens her blue hair and look at him.

"Well... I don't mean harm.. to much people.Infact I respect you.It must be hard to admit that.."

She wonders why he won't turn around but shrugs it off.She still is in shock from the wave and smiles in a silly manner.

She remembers long ago that this happened to her when she was younger.

Midori liked the fact that he was being respected. The next thing she said was also true. It was hard to admit that, even harder to someone he just met. "Yes, it was hard." he said relaxing himself a bit. He felt comfortable around Ayra for some reason. Like someone he could trust. He didn't really have any friends because of his self isolatism.

Midori saw a crab side walk around near his feet. In somewhat fear he pulled his feet onto the rock and hugged his knees. He may have been a human right now but he was still the timid fairy he always was. He made a slightly frightened moan and forgot that he was with someone else for a moment. He knew that she may laugh at him for this and waited for the crab to leave before he would put his feet back down. Even after the crab left he still hesiatated.

"Well I am glad that you can relax around me."

she stops when Midori pulls his legs up and groans a bit.The look on her face was a bit Knowing because she knew how he felt

"Even though you may be a human now... you were born a fairy.So as a fairy inside you might feel nervous now.Because you might have been scared of such things. Is that right?"

she says this calmly and looks at the crab that is walking ever so slowly.

Midori nodded sheepishly to her. He was completely understood. Arya was possible a future friend to him. She was nice enough. He looked back at the grass. He childeshly and playfully moved his right hand back and forth as the grass moved with it. He liked the sight of Nature in life and to its fullest. "I don't have many friends and was wondering if you would be a friend." he said looking up to Arya and releasing the grasp he has over the grass and letting it stand still.

she looked tranfixed at the moving grass.Only his voice awaked her senses.

"Yes...i would like to be your friend.I only had friends among the elfs...so its nice meeting you."

she looks at the now still grass.

"Thats nice you know.How did you learn?"

Arya seemed to have snap out of a trans before she answered. Midori smiled at her anwser. Its what he hoped for. "It was nice meeting you too." he said gladly. When he was asked about moving the grass, or assumed what Arya was speaking about, he thought and sought for an answer for a moment.

Midori would be glad to explain it to her best he could. "You mean me controling the grass right?" he asked before continuing. "Well it is a spell revolving around Nature that I learned out of an elemental spell book I have. This is a special spell that comes natural after learned." he explained to the best of his ability. "I can do more." he added getting a bit over excited but not showing much of it.

Getting off of the rock and running over to a tree slightly off the beach, Midori got close to the tree and stopped. He looked back to Ayra and hed his hand up within reach of a small low branch. It was a fruit tree and it would be easy to do what Midori had planned to do. After a moment an apple had started growning out of the branch where a bud flower was. He plucked the apple from the tree and ran back over to the rock. He held out the apple to Ayra. "Apple?" he offered her with a friendly smile.

she listens to Midori intently, drinking up every word.Then...all of a sudden Midori got up and went to a tree.

It happened quickly, but she saw the apple come out of the flower bud.

When Midori gave her the apple she accepeted it and took a bite."Thanks... its good.You...*munch*..have a talent there.,it.nice."

Midori was glad he could make Ayra happy, even if it was just fruit. He started to feel uncomfortable without being able to fly. He felt like going back to his normal self. "Hope you don't mind talking to someone smaller then you by almost one hundred pounds." he said teasing a bit as he let the magic around him burst out and he was flying in the air as a fairy again.

Midori looked back at Ayra. He noticed she had a quiver of arrows on her side. "Oh, you use arrows? Well, its not uncommon for an elf." he said in a nice tone. Since they were friends now, he could speak a bit more clearly and easier. He flew over to the quiver and looked inside it. "Can you do any magic yourself?" Midori asked with curiousity in his voice. He looked up at the elf and sat on the edge of the quiver waiting for an anwer if she would give one.

she looks at his fairy self and smiles up at the sun.

"Thats true."she says to his first statement.

"Yes... i can do a bit of magic.Like.. i can scry..and notice the spells around me.I have the sun as my element."She says tilting her head.
"Does that help?"

Midori waited patiently for the answers. When she was answering in order he nodded like he was taking notes. "Well, help wouldn't be the right word, more of informative." Midori teased, his fairy nature was showing, fun loving and full of energy. He then came to an idea that went through his mind once or twice already. Asking this took away his happy mood for a moment while he asked but it came back after. "Well, since I don't really have anywhere to go myself can I stay with you or meet up with you somewhere else. I useally just travel around with no aim." Midori said looking at his fiddling fingers then looking back up at Ayra hoping for some kind of yes.

"Yes you can!"she notices his tone earlier."Are you teasing me?"she says laughing.

"So... you are a vagabond? Um.. i have to say...i am an assissian and part commener."she says softly

The wind was blowing lightly and dawn was long gone.She smiles.
She appears to have liked this chat.

Midori was very happy about this. But when she went on and called him a vagabond, that sorta hurt. He shurged it off. "Really? Thanks. he said knowing that he may have found a home, even though a home would not be the proper word. "About the teasing thing, on some parts, but can you blame a fairy for their native actions?" he said once again teasing with a smile.

"No i can't blame you.."
She looks around and sighs.
"So.. what do you want to do?"She asks in a curious tone.
She takes out an arrow and sharpens it.
"Hm.. i need to learn more spells ... hm..."she twirls the arrow and stares at it.She keeps it twirling and looks at the gathering people now there.

Midori nodded and almost fell into the quiver he was sitting on. After the question he noticed more people were showing up in the spot. "Well, I'm not one for crowds so would you mind if we leave the beach now?" he asked and flew off into the air. He hovered around her face before moving in the direction of the city in a motion that suggested 'please come.' Then he remembered. He put his hands into traveling bag and pulled out a Spring Flower. "I just remembered, I got two flowers at the spring festival and they are ment to be shared with friends I heard. So do you want this one." Midori said holding out the flower almost one forth the size of the fairy holding it.

After is commet on the crowed she nodded.She looks at the flower and smiles.
"Its really beautiful.....i like it.Thank you."

She puts it in her hair so everyone can see it.A strong breeze blows and she stands up.She starts walking in the sand makeing footprints in it while she walked.
"Like freash memories that fade over time." she says and faces midori/
"well are you going to come she asks in a teasing tone.SHe has a smile that is on her face as the water in the sea goes back and forth.... back and forth...

Midori flew to keep up now being the one left behind. He tried to keep up as wind sent him tumbling in another direction for a moment. He then cought up and rested on Ayra's shoulder. "Hope you don't mind me." Midori said like he was some kind of hitchhiker. At this point, he proably was one. The young fairy smiled.

She could't help but laugh...... it was sorta funny.
"Its ok....so where now to?"she asks

In truth she didn't know where to go.She looks around at the laughing people around her and smiles to her self.She looks at midori who is now on her shoulder and sighs.

"my life gets weirder and weirder i think..."she says softly

Well, I'm never good at picking locations on where to go. I'll go almost anywhere your going." Midori said looking about. That wasn't completely true but he didn't care where they went. He knew what she ment when she said her life was getting weirder. "Whats wrong with weird now?" Midori responsed to Ayra. She was proably talking to herselft but Midori couldn't help himself. Though, having a fairy around you could be a bit weird, always depends on the fairy.
