~Do fire elementals (or any elemental, for that matter) need healing spells? I mean, can't they just merge with their element or something if they're somehow depleted?

~Does the Anti-Magic Field spell affect racial abilities at all?

~Is the Portal Anchor spell temporary? That is, does it only work once (thereby forcing you to cast it each time you want to use it), or is it a permanent thing like the Portal that you can build?

~Can the images produced by Mirror Image be controlled, or do they mimic the movements of the caster automatically? Merely curious.

The only one I can answer for certain is the first one, and that'd be a no. Certainly if you got the heal spell you could portray it as absorbing more of your natural element, but you aren't capable of healing otherwise. Sorry. :(

Heh, no, I think you misunderstood, sorry. Yes, you need a healing spell to heal yourself, unless the race is described as not needing that.

It affects all spells you purchase from the shops, regardless of calling them "racial abilities" or not.

It is intended to be permanent / long-term, but you can play it as temporary if you'd like.
