Title: Playing around?
Description: (p) Mia

Midday found the young blue dragon finally arriving along the shores of Ea, flying low over the sea of green leaves covering the forested area near the shore, a peaceful, unpopulated area that the young half-dragon liked to frequent in this form, to hunt, to sleep, to spend time away from other people. A mostly solitary life, but he did spend some time in cities and the like, finding work or just something to do when he was bored.

Alighting on the sandy beach, he looked around for a few moments, emerald, slitted eyes taking in his surroundings and making sure nobody else was around, for that matter nobody that looked like they might be a threat. The last thing he needed was a dragon hunter or something of the like to show up; he'd already had two run-ins with them over the course of his eleven years of life, and wasn't much of a fighter, only able to defend himself the last time because of another dragon around.

Letting out a light, happy screech, the wind blowing in from the ocean calm and cool, catching in his yellowish, leathery wings, he bounded off toward a point nearby, kicking up some sand from the beach and messing up what was a clean, neat shore before he got there. Flapping his wings lightly, he left the ground occasionally, gliding low, his current activity being tormenting some of the gulls nearby that had decided to land on the sandy beach for a moment, finding that it was a bad idea with the dragon around now chasing them both on ground and low in the air.

Breathing slightly heavily after going at this for about half an hour, he landed lightly on the sand, yawning wide and showing his row of sharp, small teeth, sniffing the air afterwards and catching something on it, barely, away from the ocean. Glancing toward where the scent was coming from in curiosity, he decided to see who it was, a small crackle of electricity occasionally appearing across his form.

A child, it looked like, dressed in black, with silverish hair. Tilting his head slightly to the side, he took a few steps toward them, a light screech leaving his mouth, his only actual way of talking in this form given how young he still was, trying to say 'hello', though they probably wouldn't understand.

Mia walked along the eastern coast of Arda, enjoying her trip away from the city. She needed to release a load of stress from recent events in Lomedor, she was interested in practicing spells that she harly was able to use near Lomedor.

The sea was pink from the sunset, and looked more beutiful than anything she had seen in her life. She walked down to the beach from the trees of which she stood. She watched as the gulls cirled the skys in search of food like the scavengers they were. She knew that gulls could be incredulously annoying if you didn't give them food, so she threw a piece of bread onto the ground and watched as they graciously gobbled the pieces of bread.

She turned away and started walking along the beach to see what she could find. She could hear screeches come from the distance, and she was not willing to find out. She quickly ran towards a hump that jutted out from the cliff and hid behind it, a shallow spot in the wall hid her in the shadows.

She was breathing slightly, barely making a sound. She crawled out from her hiding spot and peered over the hump to see if she could spot what it was that was out there. It appeared to be a dragon, but she had heard many terrible things from dragons. She heard it screech, it must have spotted her.

Mia thought to herself, this was not a good situation. If this dragon was hostile it could attack her and possibly kill her. Mia slid back into the shallow in the wall, shadows enclosing her once again. She waited to see if the dragon would pass by and not notice her, she was not about to be dragon food.

Tilting his head once more to the side, he saw the girl, immediately upon noticing him, make a dash behind the nearest rock near the close cliffside, apparently hiding from him, though he couldn't say why. He was small, clearly young, and hardly threatening-looking, at least in his opinion.

Sitting down and taking a moment to think about what he could do to maybe make this girl less afraid of him, he decided on a course of action, trotting lightly off toward the cliffside where the girl was currently hiding, folding his wings against his back and keeping his mouth completely closed, allowing not the slightest glance of his teeth, probably easily the most threatening aspect of his current self; well, for that matter, probably the only threatening aspect.

Peeking slowly around the rock, his emerald, draconic eyes allowing him to see fairly well through the shadows hiding within that space, not sure if the girl would go so far as to attack him, confident after those few moments that she wouldn't. Making sure he looked as harmless as possible, he walked over, not approaching her any further but allowing his full form to be seen, sitting flat on his rear almost like a dog or some other similar domestic animal. Humiliating, perhaps, but he wanted to be trusted regardless, and this was about the only thing he could think of toward that end at the moment.
