"There I am, all alone" Thae said calmly as he grabbed his newly purchased journal. It was to be noticed that it was brand new, for it's cover was scratchless and the pages smelled nice. "Time to start the first chapter" Thae sighed. Why he had this journal was unknown, even to himself. Maybe he liked to watch back on his adventures, maybe he wanted to just drop all his fears in it and seal it shut. Nobody knew.
Just when Thae wanted to start writing, he noticed he didn't have anything to write with. How could he be so stupid? "Well, I guess the first chapter in the story of my life is gonna have to wait" Thae said with a faint grin. He looked around him. The fresh breeze blowing in from the lake was great and nobody was around here to disturb him. "Ahh..." Thae sighed as he laid down by the waterside.
From outside of the water, you could hear a faint rumbling. It sounded like something was going to happen. Fast.
Jurian blasted out of the water of the lake at high velocity, and landed with a ground-cracking thud. He must have been going about 250 miles per hour, at least. His huge, corded frame seemed to have set perfectly for the travel.
Jurian smiled, and sighed. He was a lizardman with the water element. He was a great swimmer. He loved the lake. What was not to love? All of a sudden, the water that splashed up came back down, and Jurian basically took another shower.
"Ah. great..." Jurian muttered quietly. He treaded on, but halted in his tracks.
To his right was a person. And that person was resting.
Resting near my lake, is he? Hm. I am glad to see someone else enjoys it.
Jurian slowly walked up to the 'puny' person, and crouched down. Inspecting, he brought his hand to give a small, weak slap on the man's cheek.
"Hello there, Jurian said. His voice was very low, but easily understandable through clear speech. "How are you?"
