The chirps of crickets rang through the night air of the Salquedor Plains, the stars visible to infinity and beyond. The grass swayed as tiny devil winds swept through the plains, just to face their demise as the wind died.

Shinji was laying in the grass staring into the dark void of space, his mind churning with thoughts of the next day. What would tomorrow bring for him... what kind of adventure would he face next. Shinji looked towards the tower that stood in the center of the Salquedor Plains and thought that would be the place to go tomorrow. Shinji closed his eyes and drifted into the darkness that was called sleep.

Raewyn sighed as the walked through the plains. A long way from home.. again. What was she thinking htough... she had no home. She looked up at the sky and saw the sun as it set over the mountians in the far distance and darkness settled over the sky. She layed down in the gras and didn't bother to unroll her bed roll. Instead she propped her head agist it and used it as a pillow as she watched the stars that soon set her to sleep.
