Flying with her silver wings the archangel flew over the ocean. It was a blue clear sky and the wind was very wonderful today. Of course the wind was always wonderful. But today it seemed to have more of a sentimental feeling to the archangel. She loved the wind more then her own life. Sometimes she felt that the wind was the only way to have real peace. Being up in the sky, dodging the birds that flew in the sky. Although there wasn’t too many birds out. One good guess was that it was too far out in the ocean, but the real reason for the absences from the birds, the archangel would soon find out. The wind tickled her feathers, and the crisp smell filled her nose. Lightly, she twitched her ears. Why she was doing this, she had no idea. But it felt nice when her ears were pushing the wind so gently. Closing her eyes, the archangel turned, so that her back was to the sea, and her face was to the sky. Ploay trusted the wind, so if she bumped into something by accident, she would blame herself for not having enough trust in it. Relaxing in the sky, the archangel felt something not right.

When she took a deep breath her nose was filled in by smoke. Opening her eyes she found black smoke all around her. Coughing frantically, trying to get pure air in her lungs. But it was no use. The air was tainted by smoke. Anger filled though Ploay heart. Who dares harm the air in such an awful way!? Turning around so her feet were to the ground, it looked like she was standing in the middle of the sky. Ploay tried to find some sort of land so she could get out of this smoke. Soon she spotted a small piece of land, near the beach of the small island. No wonder there were no birds, it was polluted! Slowly she landed upon the ground, she noticed that the beach’s sand was black around the edges of the water. And the water had trash and other foul messes in the water.

The archangel didn’t care too much about the sea or the beach. All she cared for, was to stop whoever, or whatever from tainting the air like that. Ploay loved the wind, and to have it disrespected so much, it was a great pain inside her. Crossing her arms she started to walk deeper in the island. “Please Ploay help...” The wind spoke in a weak voice. That was it, she needed to stop the pain that the smoke was causing to the wind. Quickly she started to speed up her pace. The archangel noticed that there was an iron opening in the rock. Looking into it she could tell that it went back a few ways. And maybe she would bump into the people who messed with this island. She got closer to the entrance, then stopped a few feet away. She could hear footsteps. Slowly, she turned to see five pirates standing behind her. They grinned and one of them said, “Whats a lazzy doing in a place zlike zess?” He spoke in a weird accent. The pirates held rusty, sharp scimitar’s. They looked like they were ready to fight. And the archangel was trespassing. She whipped out her air sword and waited for them to attack. “Be careful.” The wind said, still in a weak voice. The wind spoke to her a lot, and the archangel felt that she was one with the wind. These air polluters would not get away with tainting the air anymore, not today!

Ryath lay in a nearby tree, in the top most branches. It had become quite a habbit of his, these trees. Somehow they made him peaceful, forget his troubles like nothing else and give him rest. Ryath was dreaming...

A small girl, no older than 10 was standing in a long corridor. It was dark, there were no windows and only one of the lamps was lit. The girl had long blonde hair and beautiful purple eyes, but now her hair was unkept and tattered, her eyes bloodshot and scared. She was panting heavily as though she'd been running. Her eyes searched the corridor, but saw nothing. Maybe I've lost them... she thought. Suddenly a shadow appeared behind her and she froze. The man smiled menacingly ahd laughed slightly, slowly the girl turned around. Seeing him she screamed and ran as hard as she could down the never-ending passageway. The amn smiled again and walked calmly after her...

Ryath grimaced and jerked in his sleep, a few drops of sweat started to fall down his forehead. His face was contorted as if in pain and he shook violently.

Suddenly the girl slammed into the wall, a dead end. She fantically searched for another way out, but there was none, she was trapped... The amn slowly appeared in front of her, still sneering. The girl fell to her knees, tears pooring from her eyes, please no... He man laughed and tucked his long sleek black hair behind his ears. I'm afraid your time is... up. The man took a step forward and crouched over the little girl crying on the floor. He rolled back his sleeve and pulled off his right glove, placing his hand on her.

Ryath jerked upwards and slipped from his branch, hitting one far below with quite soon force. He lifted himself up and moved to a sitting position. He was panting hard, the dream had shaken him enough without him nearly falling to his death. Ryath took a moment to steedy himself before climbing down the trunk. He could hear other people nearby. He opened his eyes and saw five men surrounding a woman. He could tell from their auras the men were attacking, the girl frustrated. Ryath wasted no time in pulling out his sword and rushing out of the woods.

He quickly delt with the first two before they knew he was there and advanced to the next. One managed to swing before Ryath stopped him and he fell back. Ryath hastily pushed himself up and leapt at the pirate who'd cut him. He fell like a stone and before he'd hit the ground Ryath had sliced up the forth. The last pirate stood for a moment stunned both turning his back and running for his life. Ryath smiled and turned towards the forest again, sliding his sword back in place.

After seeing the stranger killing the five pirates with ease, the archangel wondered who he was. She was a little disappointed that she couldn’t kill a few of those air polluters. What was the reason for him doing that? How could he stand to be in this polluted island, full of pirates? Was there a good reason for him to be there? Maybe the only reason he killed those pirates was because he liked killing. If that was true, then why didn’t he attack her? Quickly the archangel pushed these thoughts away and thought about why she came here. Although Ploay could have handled the pirates, they weren’t that strong, but they were strong in numbers. She had a bad feeling that there were more pirates around here then just those five men. Looking up she saw the huge thick cloud of black smoke that hovered the island. Ploay lifted her arm and placed the joint over her nose. The place stunk worse then anything she has smelt before. It also made her eyes a little watery.

The wind lightly blew, “Ploay, I think there is a way to get to stop the smoke though this iron entrance.” The archangel could hear the wind speak to her. Sometimes when she responded to what the wind said, people who saw would think that Ploay was talking to herself. Nodding at what the wind said, she heard more footsteps coming. There were at least thirty coming from the left and right side of the archangel. They were still a great distances away, but the archangel had to think quick. She looked at the stranger who had killed those pirates and said to him in an emotionless voice, “If you help me stop the smoke that is killing the air, I’m sure there will be other pirates for you to kill.” She was not sure that he would accept into going deeper in the pirates hideout. But she certainly wasn’t going to stand there and wait for his answer as the pirates were coming close. The pirates were yelling like madmen and were running at them at a quick pace. There were too many of them to take on at once. And the entrance was narrow enough for four people to get in at one time. She could lead them in there, then as they come in, kill them one by one.

For an archangel this was not a righteous thought. And it did feel quiet wrong, but they did start it by harming the air for no good reason. Taking down a whole hideout was too much for the archangel to do. She wasn’t that strong, but she could at least try to find a way to stop the smoke, at least temporally. Quickly she ran inside the iron entrance. There didn’t seem to be any pirates in there, at least not yet. Ploay bet that they saw her when she landed, and they were on full alert. So when they did come, they would be ready. The archangel would too be ready for them. With or without the strangers help. Still running in the entrance she found a corridor to the left. That was the only corridor so she went though. “We were waiting, lazzy.” A grim voice said to her from above. Looking up she saw six pirates on a stone balcony. The pirates were ugly and dirty looking. From behind her more footsteps came closer. The archangel was indeed, trapped. But she had faith in the wind, if the wind didn't want her to save the polluted island, then she would die. If she wasn't worthy enough for the wind, then she felt like she wasn't worthy enough to live life itself.

Ryath could see the many priates coming and held his sword high for hen they came. Out of the corner of his eye he saw the girl walk into the entrance and disappear. the metal must have been interfearing with his vision. Ryath faught against the few early pirates, but there werer too many and several managed to get past him into the entrance. Ryath was go with a sword, but not good enough to fight an army on his own.

Suddenly Ryath threw his sword down and removed his gloved, he smiled. He reached out to the closest pirate and grabbed him. Both stopped instandly as if frozen in time. The other pirates stopped and watched in horror as the life was sucked out of him. The pirate dropped dead a moment later. Ryath slimed manicingly as his eyes turned fully red...

Firstly he grew slightly in size, as well as his fingers lengthening, growing long talons. A thin tail started to poke out from his clothes and fangs grew in his mouth. Ryath looked at the pirate with mirth as they slowly backed away from the soul-stealer, now revealed in his true form.

Ryath ran though the crowd, tearing the men limb from limb as they ran screaming. When they were gone Ryath closed his eyes and slowly returned back to his other form. He knew the other would regroup, bring more men, to kill the demon that had cost them many lives. Ryath suddenly remember the girl in the cave and rushed in (picking up his sword) to rescue her...

((sorry for the slightly shorter post))

The archangel felt weird vibes from the air. It felt like something power was set loose, but she didn’t think much of it. All she could hear were faint screams. She didn’t dare loose her concentration on the pirates to look where she heard the screams. Ploay hoped that whoever, or whatever was causing the screams, didn’t come after her. Still, she studied the six pirates. They didn’t look like they had any throwing weapons, like arrows. But then Ploay picked up on s whipping sound. Then right after that sound there was a thump sound right beside her ear. She saw that one of the pirates had thrown a knife. The knife was in the wooded supporter pretty deep. Soon more pirates appeared behind her. Oh how the archangel wanted to use the wind to defeat them. But using her air sword seemed a little more fun. Glancing at the pirates behind her she noticed that there were less behind her then there was before she got into the cave. ‘That person...’ She thought to herself. Ploay remembered the stranger who had killed those other pirates. Did he take her upon her offer? And decide to help her?

The pirates behind her seemed to have short of breath, and didn’t pay one thought to her. They walked passed her and looked up at the other pirates. “There is this man who has killed many of our men!” The archangel blinked at this. Letting out a calm breath and saw her chance, three of the pirates were distracted, and they were close to her. The wind seemed to be pushing her to make her move. But as soon as she moved in to attack the three pirates, the one’s above would surely get her with their knifes. Although the pirate was still going on about the death of his companions. Ploay tended to drown his voice out and concentrated on the pirate, the other pirates, and what would be the outcome if she did this, or that. The pirates seemed to be fixed on the scared pirate. So attack him would be a wrong idea, but attack someone who isn’t the center of attention, may be what she needs.

Quickly she took a deep breath. And aiming for another pirate who was standing on the balcony, she blew softly. Wind from her lungs, and wind that she created left her breath, and in a harsh motion. The wind knocked the targeted pirate to the back of the wall. Ploay put her air sword back in her sash like belt. Frantically, the pirates were looking at to who or what had just done that. It wasn’t normal that out of no where that a gust of wind would blow someone backwards. The archangel spun around o she was in the middle of two pirates, kneeled, and then moved her arms in a circle as she straiten them. Her hands were pointing at two pirates beside her. A shot of wind came from her sleeves and pushed the pirates backwards. The wind was cold, but the feeling was lovely. Standing up strait she put on hand above the other, about one foot apart. And started to create a wind wheel. The wheel spun as Ploay told it to, and then, making a loud sound. She let the wind go at another pirate who was standing on the balcony. If the archangel had any hopes to live, she had better not make any mistakes. The angel would fight these guys with only her air sword, and the wind. It was rather a mocking sort of thing, she came here to take revenge for the wind, what better way then fight them with wind?

((it is alright, just don’t do a lot of quick kills, I like to kill things too hehe))
