Thundra stood outside the bar and inn, she could see through the dirty windows drunk men, woman that were used, and others that just sat watching the various preformers that played on the little stage, some danced, some broke there bottles. She needed a place to stay for just a while, she was very new to this realm, but this seemed like the only alternative. She took a deep breath and turned the knob, as she walked in her boots clicked on the wood floor. It all hit her like a wave of sound and excitement. She walked by men breaking bottles, girls sitting in there laps, some drinking to a toxic extent, others sitting in the corner. When she walked past the band the singer smiled and watched her as she walked...

I'm not paralyzed but I seem to be struck by you! I wanna make you move because your standing still. The singer winked. Thundra smiled and tossed her long dark brown hair. Emerald green eyes searching the bar for the front desk where she could check into a hotel room. After the band she saw a man behind a counter writing in a book, she went up to him and her red lips curved into a smile showing her white teeth.

"Hi, I need to have a room to check into for about 5 nights." She said handing him a bag of gold she had earned telling fortunes through zodiac stars and palms.

"Room 14." Said the man handing her a key, she took it and put it up the sleeve of her red dress for safe keeping.

"Thanks." Thundra smiled before walking away, it was clear that the noise would go one through the night so she didnt think about sleep now and went to the bar, took a seat on a stool and ordered her drink. "Lime Keys on the rox." She said.

Thundra was going to get up but she felt the gentle knife blade against her neck. And strong hands on her small wrists. Thundra didnt dare turn arround to see what danger lay behind her.
