Title: The REAL skeletrone Fortress
Description: Dark and scary

An enormous, black fortress stood tall and mighty over the nothingness of the surronding terrain. Giant towers stuck out of the fortress like spikes everywhere, and a giant Drawbridge served as the door. Above the Drawbridge was an evil looking carving of a giant skull. The drawbridge was placed in such a way that it looked like the skulls mouth. Dark riders riding armored Skragons circled the fortress from high above, and Skrutes and Skeletrones guarded the fortress everywhere. Catapults were positioned on top of the corner towers manned by skrutes and Skeletrones. The walls were 100 inches thick and could easily withc\stand a seige. Lightning and thunder crashed all around, making the fortress appear even more evil. Maximus rode up the fairly narrow road to the drawbridge, and stopped. there was a rumble as the drawbridge was lowered, and Maximus rode across it on his nightmare. Once he was inside, he dismounted his horse and strode over to a large door leading to the command room.

// I am probably going to be massacred, but there isn't much activity going on in this thread and I'd like to see it get started.

The half drow was kneeling a good distance from the fortress, but her keen eyes allowed her to examine the castle in detail. She noticed the Skeltrones were patrolling the grounds, she was quite familar with them. The Skragons, however, she had no idea of what there strengths were. She decided that she needed to get closer to examine these beasts, but it was too risky to go out on her own. She casted plea of darkness and called up 3 faithful spirits to do her bidding.
"You there- lure those draconic creatures over there..." Vendaria whispered, pointing towards one of the spirits. She directed his attention towards the spot she wished the dragons to be lured, it was a good distance from Vendaria, but was closer than they currently where. She would take advantage of this and attempt to examine any weaknesses.
She had to get into the fortress, for she helped deliver prisoners here. The guilt would eat her alive if she didn't help free them, and she was quite positive others would feel the same way. As she waited for the spirits to lure the dragons, she watched the lands around her for any signs of other warriors coming to take out the evil general once and for all.

Waking across land of the Dead toward where this mysterious castle was said to be. Toal though if there was a war staring soon he might as well lend a hand. He hates this place the smell the look, everything made him hate it and shiver. It was cold but he could ignore that. He walked far that day and was hoping when he found the place he would not have to fight straight away. A raven flew overhead and he suddenly found himself wishing for a bow, back home he would of been rewarded fro killing a raven.
Stopping at the top of a small hill he had a quick brake, having no food or drink he made it as short as he could. Toal could now see it lumbering over the flat lands, perfect for waging wars on, and casting a huge shadow. He also now saw shapes in the not far distance. Worried they might be enemies he drew he rusty blade and crept up on them. It was a woman quiet beautiful too, at this point three other shapes ran from the woman and started jumping and shouting at a dragon! What are they doing!
As he coughed on accident he was sure the woman would here him so he though himself at her sword out and tripped just before her. With a tuft of grass he asked in a casual voice, "friend or foe?" he stood brushed himself of and picked up his sword.

The Half Drow didn't hear the man walking up to her, she was too fixed on the Dragons as they attacked her spirits. They appeared to have a weak belly, perhaps her dagger was strong enough to pierce it...
Suddenly, a man tripped in front of her and landed just in her view. She jumped a bit, and heard the man ask "Friend or foe?" Vendaria replied, "You're lucky I am friend, or else I would have pierced my dagger into your fallen body already...Are you here to attack the Fortress?" She asked, looking back towards the spirits. Where were they?! Had the Skragons killed them so quickly?! Her plan had obviously failed, as the man who had fallen distracted her attention away from the Skragons. She sighed, and asked the man another question. "What is your name, might I ask?" SHe said, slightly annoyed.

Confused Toal looked at her... even meeting her eye, "my name is Toal, I heard of a war and I thought I could help" looking around he noticed the barren wastelands "I see no armies" that was a bleak thought going out all this way just to find nothing. The handsome man turned back to her "and may I know a name? And maybe if you have some food or water? “Toal was easy to trust as he was a good man ... But also a bit cautious.

Vendaria replied in a low whisper, "I neither have food nor water, I ran out a few days ago and have been living off streams and through hunting, sorry. As for the armies, there inside the fortress. There some type of zombie, they are also armored. Strange, yes. Also, those dragons flying around are apart of the defense as well, I'm surprised others haven't shown up to help us out in destroying this place..."

Looking almost as if wandering how 2 people will take the fortress down. Toal sat disappointed about the food or water, but then looked happier. I think I just thought up another reason to brake in "They have food in there right?"
He was also trying to think of another thing to do to damage the fortress, as he had given up all hope of taking it down. He now the expression of a man straining for ideas. Looking for a rock to sit on he hastily resumed his strained face and then looked to stair at the woman she was pretty.
