The sun was the least of her problems as she brought up her hand to shield her eyes from the rays descending from the ball in the sky. "I still do not see how one can get used to such a bright thing in the sky that is around all day..." It was only a matter of seconds before the bright light would soon tamper with her vision causing spots to appear. Averting her eye sight down to the ground, blinking her eyes a few times thinking that it would help get rid of a few spots and readjust her vision. Though it only seemed to make things worse for her at that time. Gritting her teeth and letting out a soft yet still audible growl.
Pulling the hood up covering her head from the rays of light, Irae started to move through the street of the rather holy city. It wasn’t long before she found herself at the door of a large building that had an intricate design carved into the door. The design consisted of mountains that were partly concealed by rolling clouds or perhaps wind with stars looming over the mountain tops. Though she could barely make out the image carved into the door, at least not without squinting first.
Bringing her hand up to the door and closing her fingers tightly around the handle as she started to pull on the door. With a quick jerk from her arm the door seemed to swing out revealing the inner contents of the building. Though she could barely tell exactly what was inside of the building due to the sun outside. One of the things she could make out were a few pews that rested on both sides of a rather long walk way inside the building. Moving into the building shutting the door behind her, once inside of the building it was rather..refreshing to say the least. It was darker than it was outside; at least it was a lot better than being outside where the sun continued to mess with her vision.
Standing inside of the building Irae stood for a moment at the doorway of the building letting her eyes adjust back to the darkness. Once her vision had grown accustomed to the darkness once again her fingers gripped at the edges of her hood and pulled it back. As she did, her long white hair began to flow down her back as the restraint that held it was finally gone. Though the place seemed peaceful and quiet, she was far from letting her guard down as she took a seat near the doorway. Her book of spells resting upon her lap just incase she needed to cast one of the spells she didn’t know by heart. One could never be sure of things in the dark.
