Trudging through the thick, sticky mud, Stella cussed the constant rain that always seemed to fall here randomly. Even now small specks of the wet stuff fell and smacked her on the head, causing her to shoot angry glances upwards now and then. Stella dared not open her mouth, the massive swarms of bugs stalking her golden glow constantly fluting around her mouth, as though they where waiting for her to dare open them.

Even now her foot got stuck in the mud, her shoe threatening to come off, though she kept it on with as much effort as possible without opening her mouth fully. She was looking for the dry spots, hoping that by walking on this she would avoid the damned wet spots... but nothing ever seemed to be going the way she spanned. The dry specks of land seemed closely concentrated near the trees, the tree's which seemed to have sprouted thorns from their trunks. She hated the way they grabbed at her clothes, as though trying to keep her here.

Tugging, Stella found herself at the almost heart of the rain forest, in a small little clearing, where the ground was dry. Smiling thankfully, Stella rushed over, then began to inspect her clothes, the deep scratches now revealing red stains. She was bleeding. Now that she had discovered them, Stella found that they stung, and she winched she lowered her sleeve back down. They would have to be left until she could reach the next town and wash them properly.

Nightfall seemed to be coming closer, the light from the tree's becoming darker and darker, the sun seeming even further away, and she was so far away from the next time. Sitting on the ground, Stella leaned lazily against a tree trunk (after checking it fully for thorns), and closed her eyes, letting the cool breeze wash over her. Every now and then a small tapping on her cheek caused her to swat about her face, her hand colideing with small bugs that just couldn't resist her glow. Damned things.

Apiros Kilmore was lucky that he could see in the dark thanks to heat vision, but the place was overly cold. It took him several hours in this dark place to learn which blue spots were good and which black spots were bad. He had only seen the red and orange of an animal only once or twice, but now he was settled into this area and happily made his way form patch of dry land to patch of dry land. All he needed now was somebody to talk to and he would be thrilled.

He knew that this wish would most likley never come but he did not know that a fallen star was in the area, at least... not until it nearly blinded him! Both the mixture of light and the heat of insects and an unusual young woman greeted Apiros' eyes and he stumbled a bit into the muck. He didn't expect to see anybody else in this dark and nasty place of constant rain and mud, but none-the-less he was happy. He noticed she was on dry land and hopped from path to patch until he was on the fallen star's.

He looked her over the best he could with his normal eyes since seeing something's heat signature didn't tell much about who they were. She seemed young, perhaps around seventeen, and the glow that surrounded her attracted the many bugs that took residence in the Taurerosa Rainforest. "Hello there," He said with a smile on his face, "Liking the company of insects?" He said with a chuckle before scratchikng the back of his head, "Didn't really think anybody else was here."
