Title: Fury

Dark Kraken - February 8, 2008 04:48 PM (GMT)
Feeling a sense of failure the demon known as Kraken began his journey through the city with a angry look. He had not eaten a in days and was spoiling for a fight. With a mad expression he watched as a peasent crossed in front of him witha loud laugh he hit her upside the head. She fell unconcious. His stomach was getting to him so he rumbled and rolled into a bar.

Star Dust - February 8, 2008 05:11 PM (GMT)
Walking through the city, Stella nodded every now and then to the passing people, her eyes scanning the crowd for anything amiss. Nothing did, nothing ever did. A group of people seemed to be gathering around something on the ground, and... curiosity sweeping through her, Stella walked closer, her neck arched to get a better look. A peasant woman seemed to be laid, eyes closed, some local people propping her head up as a Doctor looked her over.

Moving closer to a local man, Stella tapped him on the shoulder lightly. "What happened here?" She asked, as she looked at the woman closely. She seemed to be coming round, her eyelids fluttering, groans escaping through her lips. "She was attacked" He ended, and Stella gasped along with the others. The situation seemed at hand, and nodding, Stella began to walk away. Everyone had it under control, there was nothing she could really do in this situation right now. Spotting a bar, Stella made her way towards it, wondering if having a strong drink would make this day any less weirder.

Dark Kraken - February 8, 2008 05:14 PM (GMT)
The strong demon pushed open the door with a angry shove. It slammed againest the walls. He was frious with that he reached down into someone's purse and gathered some money. Pocketiung it he demanded from the help a large mug of ale and a deer carcuss. They gave him an odd look. reaching forward he snapped on of the servants neck and screamed for them to move faster.

Star Dust - February 8, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
Stella sat down at a table, and became aware of a commotion happening but a couple of tables down. A demon had entered, pushing his way through and immediately stealing money from a local woman. She screamed, and many men rose from their seats, intent on doing somthing. But they where weak, just humans. Stella watched on curiously, wondering if now would be the best time for her to step it.

She watched as he reached over, and as his hand connected with the barkeeper she finally stood up. He had taken things too far. Grasping her Lite sword in one hand, and her Winter wand in the other, she made her way up to the man, her jaw set, her expression emotionless. There was nothing Stella hated more then somebody like this guy. Stepping up to him table, she rose the sword in the air, and brought it down hard, where it lodged itself into the wooden frame. Scowling, she leaned in closer, one hand still on the hilt. The table shook violently.

"Listen here!" She muttered, quiet enough for only the two of them to hear. "Stop what you are doing right now, or lest i will make you!" She ordered, pulling the sword from out of the table. She stood tall, eyes fixed on his, daring him to disagree. He wouldn't, for she knew people like him where weak, and knew not what others around them could do. He would learn.

Dark Kraken - February 8, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
Dark Kraken turned toward his challenge. With a screech he yelled impitant whelp. Drawing his longword he used his brute strentgh to come down hard atop a servants head. The creature had tripped over him seconds before. Suddenly he heard the voice of a woman he turned. With a sly grin he asked her, "Will you die for me?" Rasing his sword he again threw down to war.

Star Dust - February 8, 2008 05:57 PM (GMT)
Stella watched with raised eyebrows as he brought his long sword down upon the head of a servant, tripping in front of him in fear. Stella's eyes narrowed into slits as she pointed her wand at him. "EVERYONE LEAVE." She screamed, and watched with cool detachment as the people in the bar ran from the room in a mad haste. Her eyes never left his, her first beginning to rise from within her.

"Will you die for me?" Stella wasn't entirely sure what he meant, and she wasn't sure she wanted to know. Die for him? No No.. SHE would be the one doing the killing here, specially if he carried on the way he was. She watched him raise his sword, and she spoke, her voice loud and commanding. She was getting tired of this guy and his rude ways!

"I've warned you once, and i will say it again. Lower your weapon, and leave this city NOW!" She yelled, slamming the metal of the sword against the ground, the large screech a warning to him, coming with her words. Stella was deadly serious. She would not tolerate this mindless killing in a place where peace had been moments before he had entered.

Dark Kraken - February 8, 2008 06:00 PM (GMT)
Mindless killing how quaint. Turning his head at the odd stie as the men and women fled. The demon did what he could lazily do to trip them up. They all were gone within seconds...agnrily he spoke to the girl in cool tones. "Die for I am better than all!" With that staement he raised his sword over his head and came down quickly upon the girl who had threatened him. The loud screech of metal on stone only fueled his bloodlust more.

Star Dust - February 8, 2008 06:11 PM (GMT)
Stella held up her sword, blocking the attack, then rolled out away. Holding her wand she aimed it at the guy, and with a slight smile, prepared a counter attack. "Rampant Stars!" She yelled, pointing her wand in the direction of the Demon. Large orbs of bright light rose from her wand, and began to make their way towards the demon, each one flying from a differnt angle, and each one making their way in differnt directions, flying all over the place.

One or two crashed into the bar, sending broken glass and alcohol splashing everywhere. Stella could hear gasps from outside as one broke through the window, and heard the boom of the Guards outside. She might have expected they would have come. Jumping straight after her attack she aimed her wand once more at this demon, her hatred becomeing more and more profound.

"Listen here!" She yelled, panting slightly from the fight. "Stop now and i wont harm you!" She had her wand aimed at him, ready to hurl more spells in his direction should he try anything else. Stella disliked people like him, and she felt it was her duty to rid him from this world, and protect the people or Arda, specially the people here today. She would not loose.

Dark Kraken - February 8, 2008 06:13 PM (GMT)
The Demon's blow missed in a sense she was quick but not as strong as he had first perceived he block s would do little. So the Demon bagen to deliver blow after blow in different dicertions mostly his aim was not for cunning but to tire her. He knew she could not hold long. He would not lose...He would have her for dinner tonight!

Jack of all Trades - February 8, 2008 06:32 PM (GMT)
Reclining against one of the doors was a fairly slight looking individuals. His loose shirt and unbuttoned jacket left him fairly unintimidating. The slightly large brimmed fedora was cocked back slightly to expose his well-shaved face that had an irrepressible grin on it. He was shuffling a deck of playing cards in his hands while watching the slight public disturbance with obvious amusement.

Not his fight to get in on, but he would be handling all bets placed on the two fighters. most people ignored him, not understanding why someone could be concerned about money when they jsut escaped a close brush with death. A few individuals took him up on his offer, with mixed bets surprisingly.

"Little lady! the odds are ten to one in the big guy's favor, don't lose now. I got quite a bit of money riding on you."

"Little lady! the odds are ten to one in the big guy's favor, don't lose now. I got quite a bit of money riding on you." Stella's eyebrows rose as she turned her head in the direction of the voice. A man stood, his face completely stripped of hair, and his shirt baggy, seeming to be shuffling a set of cards. Stella was staring, and she only just dodged the Demons attack. Cussing, she moved out of the way, raising her eyebrows at the Demon. Was he CRAZY!? Could he not see that Stella would kill him?

"Stop it!" She yelled, suddenly feeling small. It was true, this other demon WAS big, and Stella was small even compared to a normal average human. She looked up at him, but refused to be intimidated. Raising her wand once more, she aimed it, this time at his face. "SHOOTING STARS!" Stella yelled, watching as a extremely bright light formed at the tip of her wand. Her eyes narrowed with concentration, and he tongue poked out from her mouth a little, her eyes never once leaving the light.

With must effort, she released it, and watched as it slowly made it's way to the Demon, the destructive force sending the tables and chairs flying from out of its way. Stella hoped that this would show him - and everyone - that she wasn't a weak little girl.

Saint Marcus - February 8, 2008 06:47 PM (GMT)
Saint Marcus had been traveling by with a slight chip on his shoulder he had just made the stark realization that he would soon have to choose his destiny in life. Being part elf he was required to choose either one element of the other and right now he was confused. Born of man and elf he had always been a slight outcast. The elves had enough toleration to put up with his nature and his brash ideals. The humans totally ignored his existence. Drawing on the strength from his Goddess like he had so many times before, he spoke a quiet but quick prayer to Lothlomendil hoping for aid in this upcoming venture, surely she would support him. Slightly angered by this Marcus was surprised to hear shouting and crashing sounds. How peculiar....?

The white knight walked closer toward the sounds of crashing glass, and loud screeches. He was alarmed to discover a mass amount of people fleeing some bar in the middle of town. It appeared there was a brawl inside...but why had they fled in such terror? Marcus drew closer; loosening his sword in its hilt Saint Marcus felt an odd sensation of danger. Even more striking the guards had not arrived to deal with the situation...disturbing. Without much thought on the matter Marcus pulled his sword out of its sheath and with a ring placed it in front of him. IN a manner by which he had learned many preservation arts he would rather he be wrong and offend then be at the tip of some creatures blade.

Placing one bronzed hand on the swinging door Marcus pushed it forward. Inside he saw something quite interesting. A large red demon with gleaming eyes and a rancid smell, it was large and muscular no doubt but it seemed disgustingly enough to be starving. What a repulsive site this was. Shaking his head in disgust he surveyed the damage. The demon had managed as it would seem to destroy both glass and wood alike. The bar was a mess; there would be hell to pay for these damages. Marcus drew even closer; to his left now was an elemental like being she was young in years but stern in appearance. Strong but girlish all the same, having satisfied his curiosity he asked the maiden in a strong and overly loud voice. " What is going on here exactly?"

[[Since the only way I am going to get to RP with Starreh is to force myself in one of her Rps I am doing just that!]]

Star Dust - February 8, 2008 08:25 PM (GMT)
" What is going on here exactly?" Stella turned her head to the white knight, taking in his form slightly. It was indeed to see a knight here... she wondered what he was doing. Had he come to break up this fight? Nodding her head int he direction of the large demon, Stella let out a sigh, lowering her guard some what. "This guy was terrorizing the innocent... so i stepped in" She grinning slightly as she said this, then turned her attention back to the Demon.

"It seems..." Stella went on, beginning to circle the large creature. "That he will not surrender. I have warned him several times." Again she sighed, letting out her pent up anger. She shot a look at the man with the cards, and then the Knight, and grinned. "But it seems out little... fight has attracted some interesting people. Nice to meet you. I'm Stella". Usually she introduced herself a little better, but today Stella was in no moon.

This fight had given her a headache, even now her head pounded, as though a hammer was constantly being applied to the same spot. The feeling was painful, and not only that, but Stella suspected she had hit her arm some time during the fight, perhaps when she blocked his sword. He was so strong... And there was no denying that Stella, small and fragile that she was, was no real fighter, and so why she was even in this battle her mind wasn't entirely made up, though she knew that she was doing the right thing.

Jack of all Trades - February 9, 2008 05:03 AM (GMT)
Great. Now it was a three horse race. This complicates matters considerably, but hey, there's still a chance for profit to be had.

"A more condensed version of the little lady's speech, is that you're interrupting a small squabble. If you'd kindly step out of the ring, I'd be much obliged."

Generally holier-than-thou paladin's would do the opposite, but hey, he wasn't the murderous demon here now was he? However if this was interrupted, he wouldn't be able to end things as he liked. So perhaps he should throw in his lot.

"I would be willing to...assist..." his hand drew a single card and held it sideways. It was the Jack of Spades, "However there would be a good number of people outside not pleased with my choice of actions, so if I were to do so...I want compensation..."

((OOC: Bleh.))

Dark Kraken - February 9, 2008 02:47 PM (GMT)
Kraken was worried now the woman and the creature hiding moungst the shadows bother him little. But that paladin something about him was odd, he didn't seem like one of the wonderful I love myself types. He had to take him out first the others would a be a breeze. WIth that the demon rose his sword into the air and with an arcish motion came down on this knight.

Saint Marcus - February 11, 2008 01:57 AM (GMT)
The white knight spoke in a low cool tone, never failing to let down his guard as he waited patiently for woman or Stella as he came to know her to speak. She spoke of this large demon and told of how dark his nature had become, how harsh he had treated those around him. Marcus knew better, this creature was like the rest of the dark beings...scared, confused, and angry at the world. It was sad really but all the same it was the law of the land and that of the Gods to fend off such acts as such Marcus denied this male human's request for him to "step out of the ring." It seemed to Marcus that this sorcerer of sorts cared little for the outcome this being the Knight's reason for ignoring his request or rather forceful entry into the squabble. The knight vowed within his own mind that he would squelch this incident without much blood loss.

Marcus turned back toward the demon, looking him in the eye; Marcus took notice of the creature with a careful apprehension. He would not rush to meet this creature in battle…no, his strength must have outmatched Marcus three to one. Slowly Marcus circled the demon, raising his sword slightly with every turn of his foot. Patiently he waited; he was unconcerned with the others and what they were doing at the time. His only focus was the task at hand...survival. With every shift of hand and shuffle of foot Marcus took further note of the demon's form. It was brash and hard, he left no room for alteration. Marcus' only hope was speed and from the looks of it he was outmatched there too. Being only half elf at the time Marcus knew he had not reached the full potential of his ancestors. It would take a blessing from the God's to keep him alive.

Marcus let out a slight gasp as he realized that he would win this battle. Not because of his strength or speed but his faith. He had a strong and powerful faith in the mother goddess Lothlomendil; he had devoted his life to her. The paladin made certain his actions reflected his image of her and as such he would now reflect her strength on the battlefield. Marcus' small lapse in concentration cost him, enlightening as the pause was Marcus gave up precious ground and time. All he could see now was a red blur as the demon rushed forward and swung his mighty sword down upon Marcus. He had so little time to react the blow caught him on the shoulder leaving a deep cut; he barely had time to dodge a killing blow. Whispering words of holiness Marcus managed to seal the wound and stop the bleeding, however it was only the surface that was healed, deep within the wound it still bled fiercely.
