Title: Attack on the Sea (private)
Jade Valdis - February 7, 2008 11:22 PM (GMT)
The sea air was crisp and clean. The wind blew softly as it brushed against Jade’s skin lightly tickling her softly. The sea was beautiful, big and blue. Waves crashed onto the ship doing little to nothing in the large structure. The boat was a large fortress almost, stood high and nearly impenetrable. It was a ship for commercial travel between ports, although it had other uses such as transporting goods, and also house imprisoned personnel. It actually did nothing but put many people at risk of loosing their lives. Common people traveled on this ship on a regular basis, and also others trying to escape their bad lives in a place.
This was Jades off for her own peace and quiet. She had served a few months of service and decided to take a break from it all. The ship’s voyage lasted fourteen days, meaning she had a nice little time to rest. She loved the ocean breeze, and the ship just as much as any other person on the ship.
Night set on the ocean as the ship still chugged its way through the ocean and its rugged waves. The waves crashed onto the side of the ship making a loud noise but none mattered. Jade retired to her courters for the night. She had brought her weapons and her gear just in case of any danger, and because she didn’t really have a home so had no real choice.
Just as she laid down and closed her eyes an alarm went off. It was the alarm singling they were under attack. In a flash, Jade had thrown her equipment on and fled her courters. She would help the crew fend off the attack, and help save the ship; she had nothing else to really do.

Why did it have to be the damn sea? If there was one thing Nero hated it was the sea, it always made him feel strange, not sick or anything, it just felt strange knowing that if he was to fall he would more than likely drown to his death while if he had been on dry land he would only have maybe broken a bone or two.
The reason he was on this damn ship in the first place was because Nero had been caught while stealing some food to eat, as a result he had now been looked up in the dungeon area of the ship and was being transported to the prison of one of the cities in Arda, what city he was going to end up he did not know for sure but even the dang hellholes of any prison would be better than where he was at that moment. For one thing at least the cell would be larger in size right? And he would be on land instead of the freaking sea.
As the half demon rested in his cell he soon heard the sound of alarms going off, was someone actually trying take over the ship? If so then it would play out perfectly for the half demon as he would have the chance to finally escape and be reunited with his red queen once more. Looking through the bars of his cell Nero watched on as the guard that had been sent to watch over him stood to his feet and headed to the stairs, where he was met with the voice of another crewmember ordering him to come up and help. With a nod the guard followed orders and left the celled area to help his crewmates, of course what he didn’t know was that Nero had been waiting for him to do just that. It was now time for the half demon to have his fun!

jade ran from her room on the second level down on the ship all the way to the upper deck. When she arrived at the deck, she was surprised to see that the things attacking were not human pirates, they were demons. Undead. It could be seen that they were due to the fact that they were skeletons with flesh hanging off of them, and very few of them had the form of a full demon that was still young in its process to grow into a mature demon. Either way, why was an undead army attacking a ship holding commoners and a few prisoners? Was there something else on the ship?
As she stood at the deck dumbfounded, the yells of crew men saying get to the cargo hold made it obvious that the fiends were after something held on this ship. Without hesitating, jade followed the crew members. As she ran she heard a loud shrieking coming from behind her as she turned around and drew her bow. It was one of the young full demons chasing her. Jade whipped an arrow into the bow and launched it. The arrow flew swiftly as it made contact with the Demon directly in the forehead causing it to die instantly.
"Nice shot. Please continue to help us" a crew mate had said as he drew his sword and ran towards the cargo hold. "Gladly" Jade said as she locked in more arrows and threw them one at a time at undead soldiers and demons around. She would be used as cover fire of course, thanks to her skills with range. This was only the begining of a long night. Could things get worse?

With the guard now gone it was time for Nero to break himself out of the hellhole of a cell he was trapped within, and so lifting his right arm from the shadows where it had been hidden Nero wrapped his fingers around the bars of the cell down. You see Nero’s arm was not like that of anyone else he had ever seen, the main section of it was red colour with engravings in it, these engraving glowed with a bright blue, the same bright colour that he fingers and palm was infact. His arm was also enveloped in a blue aura.
You see Nero’s right arm was the part of him that gave him the title as a half demon, not only did it look strange but it also held the power of a full demon inside it meaning that breaking out of a metal cell was a rather simple task. Turning his hand into a fist Nero pushed forwards using all of his power and weight to rip the cell door right off of where it was placed with an almighty bang. Hearing this bang made Nero smirk, he knew that the only reason he was able to break out was because the guard had left but hey a break out is a break out right?
Walking over towards the desk where the guard had been sitting Nero looked at a large object on the desk that was covered up with a large section of cloth. Instantly after seeing this Nero said, “Lets go my red queen!” With this said Nero ripped the cloth off of the table to show a large two-handed sword, his own one for that matter. Picking up the sword with his left hand Nero slipped it swiftly into the sheath on his back and adjusted his clothing. With everything set he looked towards the door where the guard had left, it was now time for him to leave and get off this boat of course in order to do that Nero would more than likely either need to help those trying to take the ship or to help the guards protect it. As he walked up the stairs and opened the door Nero had still not made up his mind on which side to fight for, but he would in due time.

The smell of death slowly crept onto the ship as random people lost their lives to the demons. Many people who had come on the ship only for a trip were no dead and laid on the deck of the boat lifeless. "Prison Breech" A crew mate said. In the opposite section of the boat where jade was, the prisoners on that side were free and were undecided on which side they were on. Seemed that way for all of the prisoners, but Jade didnt have to worry about that for she was standing a few doors down from the cells on her side of the ship and not one person came through the door.
Jade killed a few more demons as each kill pumped her up more and more with a passion to kill. Enough of being silent, it was about being skilled at this point. Skilled with some kind of blade, and Jade was, and was proving to be better than most of the people on the ship.
"Let me make sure the prisoners on this side are fine" jade thought to herself as she walked the few doors down to where the cells were. Running behind her was a skeletal warrior, but with a matter of seconds, and the outstretching of jades leg, the warrior was now on the ground dead for good.
Jade opened the door to the cells only to see a individual as evil as evil itself. His arm was horrible, and his sword looked that much worse. The prisoner had escaped, but was this what the army wanted, or a item? Who cares, not taking any chances. With a flash and without a word, Jade ran towards the man and threw a shuriken at his leg and placed a well aimed kick for the side of his neck. She was in close courters, so she kept her body at an angle to where if he countered with his sword, she could contort her body to where she was not hacked by it. Hopefully this was the source for all the army, but something told her it wasn't.

Looking around the ship it was not long before Nero seen the figure of a woman coming closer to him, lifting his left eyebrow the demon thought to himself, “Well at least there is one thing nice to look at here in this place. But I get the feeling this woman is not here for some fun!” As he thought on this the woman suddenly started running towards the demonic armed man. Letting out a small sigh Nero watched her throw something towards him, through it seemed rather low and most likely aimed for his leg while at the same time she was aiming a kick towards him.
Quickly Nero thought to himself, “God damn, why does this always happen to me? I have not even said anything yet!” To avoid the thrown object Nero jumped forwards, but this only resulted in him feeling the kick of the woman connecting with his right shoulder and slamming him into the deck of the ship. Slowly pushing himself up to his feet Nero looked at the woman and shook his head slightly before saying, “That how you help all the good looking guys fighting on your side babe?” Right after saying this Nero rolled his shoulder back a couple of times hearing is crack a little, with this done he lifted his left hand again and withdrew the Red Queen from its sheath.
With his blade out Nero slightly smirked to the woman and said in a playful tone, “Anyway why don’t you just sit back and let us men handle this ok? I could do with something to eat after this anyone so you go get started on this.” As the last of these words slipped past his lips Nero rested his blade upon his shoulder and turned round before he began walking towards where some of the undead beasts were, he was just itching for a battle after all.

Jades knife missed badly, but the man got ran into the wall by her leg. Dont know about him, but honestly to jade, it looked painful as hell. The man got right back up however, and simply shook his shoulder. His words about attacking the same team kind of confused Jade, but when he started on the woman needing to clean thing, thats when Jade started to get upset.
The man looked like he was strong, and judging by the way the cell looks like it was just ripped out, shows that he was something more than just a normal warrior. His arm was a dead give away of her assumption.
"You know. You talk tough for someone who just got smashed into a wall. Maybe you shouldn't underestimate us women. Especially ones who just launched you into a wall with nothing but a minor kick." Jade said as she turned and started walking away.
"You just might need my help in this fight though, and i just might not be there, or maybe ill make you suffer before i save you." jade said as she took off running. She stayed alert and attentive making sure that he didn't follow her. With that she killed another demon that stood in front of her with his back turned. Jade more than likely left a lasting impression on him, but even if she didn't, the thought of how she kicked a simple warrior and sent him flying made her extremely happy. This fight was going to go by easier now than she thought.
