The day was beautiful. Time went by fast in the grasslands as Jade sat in the sun and just watched the travelers come and go. The modern people of arda coming to the grasslands with their children and pets for a night out on the grassy plains. People were coming in and out of the grasslands all day. Few arguments and problems rose through the plains. These were the days that people of arda all got along for some odd reason. These were the times when being with a family actually meant something. The thought of all of that brought a tear to Jade’s eye as she thought of her lost family. To see happy faces as a mother swings a child in the air and the father laughing away. It was all beautiful.
Night crept fast and it was time for adult time now. The pub was packed full of people drinking and laughing. The pub had hired a band tonight to play mellow tunes while the people of the pub sat and drank. Jade sat in the middle of the tavern with a drink in her hand. It was an alcoholic drink but it was something soft. Things like wine and things were horrible on a girls figure. Everyone seemed happy. Everything about today was perfect. No body fought in the tavern, and everyone was together having fun with each other. Times like this make life actually worth living. The only problem was that jade was all alone with the world. Hopefully someone would come.
Nightfall had come quick and fast, and now Stella found herself outside, alone in the streets shivering. It was a cold night, and the longer Stella stayed outside, she colder she seemed to become. Her breath rose in thick misty clouds around her as she hurried for the streets, her destination the Wilwarin Inn and Pub. Even now she could see the lights in the distance, their golden warmth inviting her in. Thankful, Stella rushed over, attempting to hide her sudden thankfully as she pushed open the door, and the warm arie blasted her from seemingly all angels.
The pub was packed, every table occupied by at least one person. Taking off her cloak, Stella approached the bar, and smiled at the bar tender in a friendly fashion. "Water please.. and could you mix some sugar into it?" She requested, ignoring the funny glances she got from both him and the people sat at the bar. Taking her drink gratefully, Stella paid the man and then looked around the room rather shyly. She would have to ask to share a table.. yet... with who?
Spotting another girl sat alone, Stella made her way slowly to her table, weaving between closely set chaires. When reaching the girl, Stella smiled at her, trying not too look to stupid. "Hi.. do you mind if i sit?" She asked, indicating the chair oposite her with her head, all the while stood at the edge of the table, people throwing her strange looks from their own comfy seats. She ignored them... naturally.
Jade took a sip of her brown drink as it ran down her throat. The crispness of the drink stung her throat a little bit every time she took a swallow. Loneliness was one thing an assassin had to endure in order to lead a proper life as a full fledged assassin. Loneliness was not too much of a problem to jade. At times she wished she was not so alone, sure,
but over all she was quite content. She was happy with what she had and would always be happy for she wouldn’t change for the world.
Taking another small sip of her drink, she heard a female voice. The voice was closer than anyone else around so the question of sharing the table was obviously pointed at her. Jade looked up only to see a young female who looked as though she was extremely cold. Jade looked at her and then herself. Jade had many places on her body revealed, like her arms and her flat stomach.
Jade didn’t judge, she just felt that the gods had answered her prayers for companionship. “Sure you may sit here.” Jade said as she kicked the chair out for the young lady and her drink. “So what you drinking?” Jade asked trying to start light conversation between the two young girls. Maybe the night wouldn’t be totally bad. Now there was someone for Jade to kind of mingle with for a little while. She had to leave soon for a small mission, but there was always time to talk to another person when you don’t do it often.
