Zenith had been sent a letter by someone from the Battle Stands in Lómëdor in order for him to fight in a one and one battle, however he was not sure he was meant to fight against. Even though he did not know who we was to fight Zenith still set off to the city of Lómëdor to compete, after all not only was it a chance for Zenith to unwind with a good battle but he was also going to be paid a somewhat large sum of money for taking part in the events of the day. Once he had gotten to the battle stands Zenith was told to wait in a room where he could ready for his battle, it was here that the Archangel placed his armour upon his person. The gold armour crafted by Lothlómendil fit perfectly onto Zeniths body and when every piece was upon him it sealed together leaving no gaps what so ever in its form. As for weapons and other things Zenith had his Holy Blade, known as Salvations Judgement, at his left hand side while he had his mithril shield strapped tightly onto his left arm for blocking some on coming attacks.

Not long after all of his equipment was set up Zenith looked towards the door of his room as it was opened and a young woman told him to follow her as his battle was about to begin. Nodding to her Zenith followed her to a large steel gate and waited till it his time to enter the battle stands. Waiting there was when Zenith began to get a little nervous, after all he had no idea whom he was facing on this day, for all he knew it could have been someone far more powerful than he or someone far weaker. All Zenith really wanted was a challenge though, and with luck he would get that!

Soon he heard his name being called out by the announcer as well as the seeing the steel gate open before him. Listening to the cheers from the crowd Zenith slightly smiled from below his helm and stepped out to the battle arena in order to meet the one he was to face today at the battle stands.

It is true. The young, beautiful, and sexy Jade Valdis had invited the most powerful being in the keepers to a small sparring match. Her skills needed to be trimmed and this would be a perfect way to trim them nicely and have a little time to get to know the leader of the keepers. She was an assassin meaning well paid so when she offered the money it was a no brainer that zen would agree to the small fight. Nothing serious, just a test of skills between the two. Nothing more nothing less.

It was obvious that the warrior was far more skilled in battle than she was, but she had something that she would use to her advantage. Two things actually. Wit, and sexyness. Why would sexyness be needed for sparring, who knows, but the wit would come in heavily. After all, this was Zenith.

Wearing her normal outfit, skirt, leather armor, her array of weapons from daggers to flying objects, to her trusty bow. These would be the needed tools if in this minor fight.

The battle stand was windy and bitter. The wind blew softly on Jades skin sending chills down her back. Hopefully zen doesnt think of this as somehting serious and completely punish her.

The sound of Zeniths name rang out and out came the gates to the stand. In the middle stood Jade with her bow, strong hearted and ready for anything.

"Lets rock" she said pumping herself up and letting him make the first move. The cards had been set, the hand had been given. Time for the test to begin.

Before his Zenith seen one of the newest keepers members, a young female assassin by the name of Jade. Smirking below his helm Zenith yelled over towards Jade, “A test is it? Ok then Miss Jade. Allow this to be your test, your right of passage into the Keepers of the Sacred Deed! Today you shall dance toe to toe with the Archangel of Life. I just hope you are as skilled as you say you are!” With that said Zenith looked down towards his holy blade and thought for a brief moment, what could he use for his first attack against this Assassin? With the smirk growing slightly larger Zenith pointed his blade out towards Jade and instantly a surge of holy energy was blasted forth towards her form. He was not sure if the attack would meet its mark, but hey it was a start right?

As the blast headed towards Jade Zenith parted his wings and pushed himself to the right gliding along the ground in a circle formation towards Jade. Drawing in closer towards her Zenith said, “Show me the best you have Jade, prove to me that you are worth staying within the keepers, prove to me that I have not made a mistake! If you fail to last ten minutes against me then I may ask you to leave the guild! So you better try your hardest!” With this said Zenith quickly thrust his form through the air at Jade and aimed his blade for her right leg, if she was an archer and an assassin then she would need speed to battle against the angel so what better place to aim for than her legs in order to stop that speed right?

Jade saw the blast of energy coming head on but did not flinch or hesitate. in stead she reacted quickly jolting to the left using her long legs and made full strides as the blast completely missed its mark. "You missed sugar" she yelled out as she concentrated herself and judged the man and his movements quickly. She knew instantly that he was armored well so frontal attacks would be a horrible thing to do. Instead she would rely on the quickness of her feet, and the precision of her bow to mow him down.

While she was running, he sprouted wings and flew towards her in a circular way. Never once did she stop moving, instead she used kept herself going. As he came in close he made it clear that she would have to last 10 minutes. "Ten minutes is childs play sweetie" she said noticing his shoulder movements. It only meant one thing. An attack from his sword.

She looked at the sword and judged its speed. Coming up with the generalization that she could dodge it with a small aerial maneuver she acted quickly. Suddenly she jumped into the air and pushed her body to the side. She kicked her legs out into an aerial split and drew her bow. She quickly latched a barbed arrow into the bow and launched it at zenith as the sword rushed under her. The plan was to keep moving at all times and not get hit. It has started and it was serious. Let the fun begin.

Zenith was impressed by the agility that Jade had, she was indeed a good fighter but of course the main question in Zeniths mind was if she was good enough in his eyes! He narrowed his eyes as the arrow was suddenly sent towards him, seeing it the angel quickly tucked his left wing into his side allowing him to quickly drift to the right hand side. In doing so the arrow only scrapped along the arrow of Zenith causing a small scratch, however it was nothing that Zenith could not repair when he took the armour off later. Quickly the angel landed on the ground and kept his eyes on the figure of the woman whom he was fighting, the way she spoke seemed interesting to him, as Zenith had never heard anyone talk that before. It was clear that Jade was a beautiful woman, and most of her male targets were most likely to busy having impure thoughts about her to know they were about to be killed by Zenith was different. The reason he was different was because the young angel already had someone he cared for, someone he would give his life up for in an instantly, someone who had a grip upon his heart from day one.

Knowing that he could not be taken in by her look Zenith stayed stood perfectly still where he was, he had mastered the art of casting a spell without any words or gestures and so what he had done would be something that Jade would not be expecting with any luck! He had just cast a spell known commonly as Stone Wall which caused a stone wall five feet in height to appear the path of Jade. If she did manage to regain her balance then the young woman would be in for a world of pain if she connected with the wall.

This was actually fun. The thought of her actually fighting the famous Zenith Meria was amazing. Either she was incredibly bold, or incredibly stupid to fight him, but either way, it was fun as hell. Jade was still upside down when she watched her arrow barely scratch zeniths armor. There would be no real way to cause harm to Zen with her minor weapons. There would only be one way to stop him, and thats through poison. Poison arrows to be exact. If it was a scratch or a full blow, the poison would weaken him slowly and steadily. Even if that really did happen, then she would have to keep her endurance and stamina up but it was more than likely that Zenith had more endurance than her. After all, he was a world renown warrior.

Jade turned her body so that she would land on the ground but as she was doing that a loud rumble had pierced her ears. She looked down at the ground only to notice a rising wall where she was descending. Thinking quickly, jade tried to place her footing properly for a nice landing. As she though of her landing, she quickly placed a poison arrow into her bow.

As her feet hit the wall she placed her footing wrong. Her left foot slipped from the wall and it caused her body to fall backwards. Having no time to fully aim, she launched the arrow towards Zenith hoping it would make contact. She fell backwards but kicked off with her right leg. Her kick off made it able to raise her body enough so that she didnt suffer a broken left leg and completely miss major injury. She hit the ground with a loud thud as she sis a slight barrel roll to her knees. Zenith was highly skilled indeed, but it would take more to stop jade.

As soon as Zenith seen the next arrow coming towards him he began to pay very little attention that what Jade was doing at the exact moment, instead he watched the path of the arrow ripping through the air towards him and as it drew in closer Zenith raised his mithril shield into its path and heard the noise of the arrow snapping against it. It was a pleasing sound for the angel for he knew just how strong his shield really was! Knowing that the arrow had been stopped Zenith once more returned his attention towards Jade and smiled slightly, she was doing well and he was happy about that! It seemed that Jade might be just what the Keepers were looking for, just what Zenith needed in new members. She might have been an assassin but Jade had what it took to make the Keepers proud of her, as her skills were amazing!

What the angel needed now was another attack to use against Jade, only this time he was going to make it much harder than his other tests had been. Instantly the angel vanished from sight using his powers to teleports, where he would appear again was not known to anyone watching the battle. The cheers were insanely loud, and erupted even more when Zenith reappeared behind the form of Jade, his left hand glowing a bright yellow in colour as he said, “Now for one of the hardest tests Jade!” With these words said Zenith pushed out his left hand and unleashed the forced of Sun Beam. Although it had not been charged to its full power it would still hurt Jade a lot if it was to make contact with her, and the fact that it was aimed for the woman’s back did not make thinks look good for her!

"Wow." said Jade to herself as he had recovered from her little roll from the wall. That stunt almost broke her leg and could of possibly severely injured her, but i guess this wouldn't be a proper test if that kind of danger wast there now would it? The crow was going wild for things were really starting to heat up between the two of them. Jade's adrenaline was pumping through her at astounding rates, keeping her moving and her body completely active, and alive. Anyone faced with danger like that would have hesitated out of fear and shock, but not with Jade.

When Jade finally looked to see the status of Zenith all she saw was the arrow on the ground broken. "I missed, but where is he" she sighed to herself as he appeard behind her. His words pierced her heart as she jumped to the left without giving him time to finish his sentence. It was too late. His spell had been launched and it connected with her leg. The spell was not at full, but it was strong enough to propell Jade into the air spinning her. Jade spun 360 degrees side ways as pain crept through her leg. Her body was still in the middle of a spin as Jade acted quickly and grabbed her three throwing knives. She launched them at Zen, while still doing her turns. By the time her knives got off she was at a full 1080 degrees. Once the knives were off, another half of a turn accured and then another loud thud as she hit the floor. The sunbeam was able to send her spinning in a sideways rotation, but during the rotation Jade had enough sence to launch the knives at Zen. Now would they hit was uncertain, but she was trying to show her skills to zen, so even if it didn't hit, knowing that she could still act in the middle of a dire emergency would prove as a good thing.

Jade hit the ground and quickly rolled to her back and locked in two poison arrows and launched them within seconds. Her bow skills were quick and her reaction skills were quick as well. She was slim and agile, and she was proving it more and more.

This battle was truly being taken to the next level as the sun beam make contact with the leg of Jade sending her into a furious spin in which she began to throw her daggers towards Zenith. Three daggers were heading right towards his form and quickly the archangel began to run forwards, yes forwards, towards Jade. He used his shield to bounce away one of the daggers while the other two connected with his armour and actually torn into it due the increased force of Zeniths run. Even though the daggers had torn into Zeniths arm armour he showed no sign of pain, infact if anything his pace increased towards Jade which was when he seen her fire two other arrows at him. Now was the time to show off a little, right before the arrows hit him Zenith teleported once more but reappeared exactly where he had been before hand, in other words he had only vanished for a brief second in order to allow the pass by his form.

Now closer to Jade once more the winged being said in a playful tone, “I hope you don’t mind the cold my dear!” After saying this Zeniths next spell was put into effect as large shards of ice appeared around him and sped towards Jade at a great speed. At the exact same time as this Zenith leaped into the air sending three blasts of holy energy from his sword at Jade as well. It was clear Zenith was holding back his full power but at the same time it was also clear he was not taking it easy on this woman.

Once again, failed attacks. The throwing knives hit their mark but the arrows didnt. They missed. Badly this time. He was toying with her for some reason, but he would learn that toying with an assassin, no matter how weak, can prove to be fatal.

Jade prepared herself as Zen flew in closer. He launched some kind of ice spell at him which looked solid enough. They flew at very fast speed, but she was fast herself. uickly launching herself backwards she reached to her side and grabed three shurikens. She threw them at the incoming ice bolts as they ran hea don into the shurikens knocking htem out of the way, but they still got discoursed by that little trick. Just as zenith flew up to launch more blasts fro his sword, Jade was back on her feet. She tried to ignore the pain but it just wouldn't happen. The pain crept through her leg but still she faught on.

She jumped backwards dodging the blasts and using her speed she turned and ran to the side. She put a barbed arrow into her bow and launched it at zen while he was in the air. In the process of that she fired two more in two different directions to try to trick zenith into getting hit by one or not moving at all. The last assault on him was the locking of three poison tipped arrows. She fired them off hoping that finally one would hit. Hopefully one would for this fight would be over very fast if they didnt thanks to her depleting amount of weaponry.

Jade seemed to be moving faster and faster with each attack, she had blocked the ice attack with more throwing weapons and then started on a barrage of arrows towards Zeniths form. Three barbed arrows and three poison arrows. Zenith had managed to avoid all three of the barbed arrows but in doing this his body position was placed into an awkward place as the three poison arrows ripped into his beautiful white wings. Gritting his teeth slightly from below his helm Zenith landed and fell down to his knees from the pain in his wings, he was hurt and it looked like he was hurt badly!

However only seconds after this Zenith once again stood to his feet, only this time he reached with his hands and ripped the arrows from his wings with force. He knew it would hurt more but the angel needed to get them out quickly. Tossing the arrows onto the ground Zenith looking towards Jade and said in a soft tone, “That was a nice attack Jade. However thanks to magic within my clothing under my armour I am not affected by poisons so that attack was rather useless!” With this said Zenith sheathed his holy blade back to his side before taking a few steps towards Jade. As he walked towards the woman Zeniths entire body was covered in a blue light and soon the wounds on his wings healed up which once again caused Zenith to smirk slightly from below his helm. The battle was really just get started now and Zenith was now going to start showing Jade just why we was well known in Arda, it was time for Zenith Meria to start attacking a little harder than normal and push this female assassin to her limits. She had already proved herself worthy of the keepers but now Zenith wanted to test how loyal she truly was!

Jade was breathing hard as she got excited about the hit on Zenith. All of her attack and only the arrows connected. Fighting this man hand to hand would be suicide, and since Jade had no spells which put her in a horrible position. She grabbed her side to feel how many more arrows she had, and when she counted she was left with only five barbed and four poison tips left. The next few attacks would have to be properly shot and aimed.

Jade surveyed the area and saw that there were no more arrows on the floor that were use able, and that her shurikens were very close by. The only thing left was her nine arrows, her oath bow, and a non magical dagger. She was an assassin but obviously not the best yet. She could grow and be a lot better than what she is now, and Zenith in this quick bout has made her realize that.

Jade touched the side of her leg as pain swept through her body. This fight was going form bad to worse very fast for Zen was now healing and Zenith has alot more up his sleeve that he can pull off. Will zen actually stop his brutal assault who knows. But whats important is that Jade will not give up and give in.

Jade swallowed her pride and pain and turned around and ran. She ran at the speed her body and hurt leg would let her. She ran close to the wall of the battle stand and stuck close. She readied her bow but didn't launch a thing. She waited for the perfect time to launch her arrows to make them count. The fight has reached new heights so fast, and it was now ready to take it up another notch.
