Death Master - January 20, 2008 09:04 PM (GMT)
The sun always seems to be hotter in the Anfauglir Desert, beating down on it's victims with extreme heat, showing no mercy and only torment. One left out here would surely be dead within an hour if they did not hold the right equiptment. Nonobody truly knows why the sun scorches these lands, and why the sun in so unforgiving in this place, but neverless, the land is barren and full of sand, there few places to take refuge, and even fewer who survive. Corpses quickly get covered by sand storms and the occasional burst of wind. The only thing that is good about this place is the lack of humidity.

A cloaked figure in red and black stands on one of the various dunes that dot these forsaken lands. For anybody that knows it they can tell by it's mask that it wears, this is Jack of Blades. One who betrayed the same people he protected so long ago, and fealt to remorse. If he does hear the voices of those of which he has saved, he will only smile beneath his red and white mask. His dark orange eyes are filled with darkness and evil, his voice his full of lies and truths that nobody can decipher. He is a being not easily defeated, but his blood still runs red. his mask is never removed, and as a result nobody knows of his identity, if he even has one behind his mask.

pon the desert yet does not feel the heat in pain, instead he feels it in a sense of joy. From a distance his figure is warped by the heat as it stands witha foreboding preseance. He once had power, but it was stripped from him by a powerful wizard. His goal in life is to reclaim that power, and once again set out on his destructive path which shall lead to ruin for Arda.

Pyrokinetic - January 21, 2008 04:54 AM (GMT)
The sun was unforgiving, beating down on the desert and everyone else who had decided to travel through the desolate wasteland. It didn't stop burning, the cloudless sky unable to stop the destructive power of the star. A snake slithered across the dunes, towards the man who was rightly named Jack of Blades. This being wanted much the same thing as Pyrokinetic, the destruction of Arda and the stupid beings that populated it. Yet the elemental could not be sure of his true intentions, for although he was aligned to the flames it wasn't sure that he loved them. Without love, this Jack of Blades could not help the patriotic elemental.

So Pyrokinetic approached this half-dragon, in the form of a snake that appeared to be on fire. It moved with speed that would be impossible for an average snake, leaving dust clouds in its wake. The Jack would see it coming, yet he wouldn't expect to be greeting a reptile. The man was not far off, standing visibly on the elevated dune. He was proud, aged and confident in his fighting ability. Yet was he experienced in the ways of diplomacy? That question would be answered soon enough. The snake came ever closer, the anticipation exciting the magical entity. In a matter of seconds, it was slinking up the dune metres away from the Jack. As it arrived at his foot, the fire drenched animal waited for a few seconds before taking action.

Pyro morphed from a small reptilian creature to an Uruk-Hai, a brutish orc that was anything but a creature of purity. Fire licked from its body, appearing as though it was on fire. The elemental took a step towards the Jack of Blades until they were so close that the flames licked at his ornate mask.

RAAAAAAARGH

The Uruk opened his mouth and blasted a large roar, heat coming from the open mouth and warming the half-dragons mask. Of course it wasn't enough to burn the disturbing piece of jewellery, for that wasn't Pyrokinetics intention. This act of insanity was to see how this being acted and what would be done in the face of danger. The elemental stood there, watching the mask and waiting for a reaction. Whatever he was going to do, the Uruk was ready for it.
