Vahn - January 17, 2008 08:20 PM (GMT)
The sun had set, and the moon was starting to rise. A twelve foot nine lupine chased a deer in the forest, the lupine stuck his claws into the deer’s back and pulled it to the ground. Vahn bit down on the deer’s neck and began to tighten his grip on the deer, after a few seconds of waiting. The deer died, Vahn began to eat. It had been days since he had tasted fresh blood. Over several minutes, most of the deer was gone and all that remained was a carcass. Vahn threw it all, he finished the food in his mouth and began to howl, a howl that made a bloodcurdling sound. Vahn made his way to a lake, as he began to drink. The blood from his muzzle began to pour into the water. The moon light shone down on the water and reflected in his eyes, Vahn raced around to the other side so he wouldn't be interrupted.

Vahn groomed himself after drinking, a twig snapped which made Vahn stop and look around. He let out a roar as a deer tried to drink from the water, The deer ran back in fear. Vahn needed a place where he could look around his surroundings. Looking up at the top of the waterfall, Vahn smiled and started to cliff the fifty foot wall. Once up there, Vahn started to groom himself again. Not long after, Vahn let out another roar before sitting down on the cliff edge. Vahn knew that something would happen tonight, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Vahn waited and waited, the moon began to rise higher and higher. And not long after, Vahn began howl again. He just knew that someone out there would return his call, he didn't know who or what but he knew they would.

Gwen - January 17, 2008 09:02 PM (GMT)
Gwen glanced towards the moon, strangely in a wolven form for once. Why? The full moon, of course. Seeing as she was a werewolf, it was impossible to avoid morphing into a wolf during the full moon. It wasn't really impossible to tell her wolven form from her human form, either. She still had black hair; Blue eyes. Scars going down her legs that were hidden even in her wolven form; By her fur instead in this form. She was trotting around the area, as if she was searching for something. And exactly what was she searching for? Truthfully, she herself didn't even know. It could be prey, water, someone, something... anything. She just felt the strangest urge to be searching for... something. It was almost some sort of artificial feeling to her. So she was doing the simplest of things- just searching for whatever it was that she felt the strangest need to find.

Suddenly, Gwen's ears perked up, delighted at the mere sound of another wolf howling. She immediately found herself howling right back at the sound, almost unable to resist the urge of it. Not to mention, to her this could have even been the answer to whatever she felt the need to find on this night of the full moon.

Vahn - January 17, 2008 10:14 PM (GMT)
Vahn’s ears pricked up as his howl was returned. Vahn howled back, his white eyes studied his surrounding. He picked up a scent, Vahn jumped off the cliff. A loud thump and a wave of water being splashed everywhere could be heard for several meters. Vahn shook the water off his fur and began to run towards where the scent of the howl came. He could smell it and he knew exactly where the wolf was from the howl. As Vahn came closer, he let out another howl to tell he was coming. He didn't know why he was going closer to the howling of the other wolf, but there was a urge in him that he could resist. This was an urge that had brought him here tonight, he didn't know why but this urge had forced him here.

Vahn stopped as he approached the Werewolf, Vahn towered over most lupines and werewolf’s. Vahn bent down and started to walk on all fours, Vahn began to circle the Werewolf as he studied it. After going around the werewolf once, he saw that the werewolf was a female. Vahn smiled and began to walk towards her, it had been years since he had met a Lupine or Werewolf and especially a Female one. Vahn walked in front of her and stopped, the twelve foot nine lupine licked her. Vahn brushed against her, he did it again and again until he stopped in front of her face. "You must be the urge that brought me here" Vahn said, his voice was deep and dark. And Fresh blood stained his fur around his muzzle and torso. "Ever considered becoming a full blooded lupine, you would be able to transform into a human and lupine at any time" Vahn said.

Gwen - January 17, 2008 10:39 PM (GMT)
Hearing the constant howls in return to her own, Gwen attempted her best to keep up her own howling as if it would help whoever it was get to her. Shortly after, she caught up on the scent of a lupine. A male one, at that. The scent seemed to get stronger as the lupine came closer, and before she knew it; He was right before her eyes. She couldn't help but have a few questions go flowing through her mind- Was this the something that she had found herself having the need to search for the entire night? Honestly, she had not once ever imagined that it would be a someone that she was truly searching for throughout the night.

However, Gwen seemed a bit delighted to meet a lupine despite that. She noticed the scent of blood, causing a slight twitch of her nose. "Hmm," Gwen began. "I've never actually considered it..." She replied to his suggestion. Her voice was strangely, calm and relaxed, with an almost soothing tone because it was so soft. "And you are...?"

Vahn - January 17, 2008 11:04 PM (GMT)
Vahn looked at her, her voice was soft, It made Vahn feel warm. He licked the blood off his fur and turned his attention back to her. "My name is Vahn, I have lived here for a very long time. I have even forgotten how old I am, it has been so long that I have lost count" Vahn said with a laugh. "Trust me, If you become a lupine, You live longer than you do In your human life and you also become stronger than a werewolf" Vahn said, his voice sounded deep and cold again but it had a calm sound to it. The smell of a young deer made him turn his head towards it, Vahn snarled at the deer, the deer ran off. Vahn wasn't in the mood to be interrupted.

"And your name is?" Vahn said, he made sure the deer had gone before turning his attention back to he werewolf. Vahn looked at her with his white eyes, he stared into her eyes. Vahn eyes appeared to be locked with hers, his gaze broke when a beam of moonlight hit his eyes. Vahn shook his head and moved his eyes out of the beam, the moonlight showed how black his fur was. It was soft it most places but hard where dirt, sticks or leaves had been caught. Vahn felt the urge fall into place, she was his urge to come here, it seemed weird but it was true. Vahn had fought this urge earlier but now he let it flow through him, he stepped closer to her. Vahn wanted to know about this werewolf, she seemed to interest him. And to interest Vahn was a hard thing to do.

Gwen - January 17, 2008 11:39 PM (GMT)
Gwen smiled lightly; Although it wasn't very noticeable seeing as she was currently in her wolf form. "Interesting," She said in reply to Vahn's words. Hearing his words suggesting more towards becoming a full lupine, she added, "I should really start considering that... It does sound like a good idea so far," With a slight laugh. Her voice stayed with the calm tone, despite her not even realizing the soothing-ness of her own tone.

"Ah," She began. "I'm Gwen," Glancing towards the deer that Vahn had scared off by merely snarling, and then run off. She felt a bit awkward not giving out any information about her age, so she settled on adding more to her words. "Oh, and I'm just seventeen... Heh," She couldn't help but feel a bit awkward about her age, seeing as most people that she had met turned out to be older than her by quite a few years. It made her feel a bit.. young, in most cases.

Vahn - January 18, 2008 01:12 AM (GMT)
"Alright, but once you turn into a lupine, You cannot go back" Vahn said. His voice had stayed deep and cold, but it had a calm tone in it, a tone that he barely ever had. Vahn listened to her as she stated her name and her age, Vahn looked at Gwen and smiled. "It doesn't matter what age you are, don't fell ashamed because you are young. You still have plently of learning and growing to do, plus we were all young once" Vahn said with a laugh. Vahn swung his tail in excitment, he felt like a young pup again. But he was now almost thirtneen feet tall, he had grown alot since he was a pup. Vahn licked his paw, a sudden itch had made him ignore Gwen for a second.

Vahn smelt the blood of another animal. "Do you want to go hunting? Im sure if we put our skills together it would be an easier kill. We can both stalk it and then take it down at the same time from different directions, I would surely confuse it" Vahn said with a chuckle. Vahn stood up to his full height, his nose began to sniff where the closest animal was. "Well shall we, there is an animal closing in on us. Its about, two hundred merters away, I think we could take it by surprise. What do you think? Vahn said, he fell back down onto his four legs and moved beside Gwen. He tilted his head and waited for her reply, they could both eat this animal. If it was large enough, Gwen looked like she was hungry and his stomach began to rumble. Vahn continued to gaze at her, Vahn knew that she would become a tall lupine if she wanted to be one, but he would wait until she properly understood what it is like.
