Title: Incognito Indignation

A young wood elf leaned against the corner of a market building, surveying the streets as the bustled about with endless activity. The ever flowing river of citizens, going about their daily lives made an excellent place to hide. Of average height and stature for any respectable wood elf, the male had lightly tanned skin. This was, of course, the natural skin color for most wood elves. The exception being those who did not venture out into the sunlight... A good disguise for a Chaos Elemental seeking to hide until the time was right.

When that would be, Tithdaeron never knew. Sometimes it seemed that his time was at hand, and then he was forced to retreat into the shadows once again. Nothing but delays to his plans. Delays, delays, delays. It was nearly driving him mad, which was much to say considering the chaos elemental could be considered already insane by anyones standards. Even other insane people considered Tithdaeron insane. Beneath the composed, classy shell of a personality lay a time bomb waiting to go off and slay every innocent in a 10 mile radius.

Of course, he had only done that once, but it was certainly fun and Tithdaeron would likely take the opportunity again should it arise.

Ah, how much the scent of blood was missed. It had been too long since the pariah had experienced the salty sweet, metallic tinge of blood. Ever since those fateful days when the chaotic being had risen out of the mixture of a vampire and a half angel, did he keep the very same bloodlust of the vampire.

Whatever happened to those two, he knew not. Nor did Tithdaeron even care.

But, as dusk began to fall and less elves began to walk about, the chaos elementals hunger grew. But something was different this night, for even though he had not killed, the scent of blood was in the air. And that familiar feeling of... another vampire?

But where? It had been ages since, that was for sure. Leaving his roost, the wood elf moved in the general direction down the dark streets. Perhaps he would set a trap to attract this person, find out who they were. Perhaps acquire a new ally? Someone he could use to further his goals? Or maybe just a companion. Even killing machines with plans on dominating the Ardian landscape needed companions from time to time, after all.

Star sat on the grass, her pale skin almost glowing in the moon light. Her black hair blew in the silght breeze, she watched as a hawk came down in the sky. Perching on a branch in a near by tree, she had been watching that thing all night. And now it was time to catch.

In Stars native realm vampirs were slightly different, they each could turn into the animal that best suited their personality. One of her best freinds who had been turned shortly after she was, was very innocent, cute, but could be devius, cunning and feirce standing up for her beliefs, she could turn into a cat. So in turn that is what she hunted. Star on the other hand , was always positive, she had a spirit that could soar to amazing highs, like that of a bird, so because of that she could turn into a hunting bird. So in turn she hunted the large birds of prey.

So the two, brid and vampire locked eyes, her fangs grew the bird squaked through the night sky. The bird took off low enough knowing that she had innitatied a challange, she ran after it, hair blowing in the wind keeping pace with the bird. She could smell the wind, the earth, her prey, and WAIT. She stopped in her tracks falling into a crouch that many vampires fell into durring a fight, she straighed out her dress flowing arround her body. It couldnt be. It wouldnt be, not in an elven area?

Star walked out of the medow and into the town, she looked arround watching, to others she would look like a meer teen, but in reality she was over 100 years old, (still very young in vampire terms) the shadows shifted and moved sending chills up her delecate spine, her body very small looking and fagile, though her face very exquisite. She could feel another presance..

The smell was getting stronger as Tithdaeron moved in the general direction of where he suspected his quarry might be. Ever the wary hunter, he kept careful eyes on his surroundings as he made full use of his wood elf disguise. Whistling merrily and nodding to passersby, he seemed only to be a young elf out on a night stroll. And a peaceful night it was, too. A light breeze carried in fresh air, and with it information on how close he was to his current goal.

Making his way towards the city walls, Tithdaeron found himself caught a bit surprised as he finally came out of an alley on the east side of the city. The guards were beginning to close the gates for the night, and a fresh shift of archers took their spots on the wall while the relieved made their way to the bar. Staying in the shadows, but not altogether completely hidden, Tithdaeron pondered over whether or not it was worth leaving the city this night. It was an easy matter for him to regain entry, but, at the same time a tinge of laziness poisoned him against any further action.

The unsure chaos elemental shuffled a little in his spot, and then finally made up his mind to take a leap of faith. A voice in his mind told him that it was merely a fresh killing in the forest or out in the plains, but another told tales of something greater. A prize of sorts to be obtained. He pressed forward, waving to the guards as he exited the gate. It was promptly closed behind him, and there he stood, a lone silhouette against the strong oak and mahogany doors behind him. Shapes could be seen moving along the top of the wall as the archers made their rounds.

Looking out over the distance, there wasn't much to see. However, when Tithdaeron blinked briefly an entirely new view came into place. A colored field of dark to light blue filled his eyes, and along the top of a rolling hill there crouched a bright red to whitish orange figure. It stuck out like a sore thumb, the chaos elemental had finally acquired sight of his prey. No doubt it was aware of him being nearby as well, as was evidenced by the stance it took.

Uttering a small breath, "Where I may see, there I may go." he cast the teleportation spell and in a small flash of light was there in front of her. With a lighthearted but somewhat malicious laugh, he introduced himself as his fake identity. "I saw that you seemed to be caught unawares be someone, so I decided to offer aid. But... it looks like there is nobody here after all... maybe I shouldn't have gone out of the city. My friend has always told me that vampires like to hunt down people who go out of the city. We should get inside while we can, maybe the guards will open the gates for us? Oh my... Dear me, I forgot my manners, my name is Allynzer." he said, looking about as though a vampire could jump out at any minute and devour the pair. He even added a few beads of sweat to the act. What a joy this turned out to be...
