The night was quiet by the docks. The only sounds being from that of the nocturnal animals and the waves gently hitting against the dock. Something soon began to interrupt the quiet night. It was a faint and rhythmic jingling of jewelry.

A young girl was walking through the peaceful scene. She did not look as if she could be older than 20, wearing gypsy clothing. It was a most peculiar sight indeed, but the girl did not travel alone. Behind her a black panther followed, its green eyes were all that could be seen from a distant. Eyes that rolled over the entire surroundings, always watching and waiting for any danger that might be after Anika, the gypsy girl.

Soon Anika stopped at one of the docks, walking down the length of it. She sat down gracefully and let her bare feet dangle off the edge, her toes just barely grazing the surface of the cool black waters below " It is such a beautiful night Alexia, Why do you not join me?" The panther did not say a word, just laid on the wooden docks behind Anika, guarding her diligently. Anika just sighed " You are always looking for trouble, and if you are always looking sooner or later you will find it..."

She laid a soft and delicate hand on the panther's fur. At first it tensed, but soon relaxed. Anika knew the cat did not like contact, she was a guardian not a pet, but Anika could not help but show affection on a night like this. The stars glowed bright in the sky, fighting the darkness that enveloped the world with their faint pale glow. The cosmos made sparkles dance across the dark waters of the sea. Anika only let out a sigh, letting all the stress of her young life leave her body. The stars were her element. She felt at peace under them in the dark. She never felt alone when the little diamonds in the sky were out. It just happened this night that she wasn't alone. There was someone else out there in the dark, closer to her than Anika knew, for Anika was completely swept away in the simple beauty that nature kept hidden by night.

Carina made her way along the docks, her heart cought with the sight of the brilliant knight above her. Here walked the disgraced Princess in all her Fallen Glory, tired, weary, her thoughts slow and slightly suicidal. She had had enough of this planet, with its strange differnt race's. How was she to no that the strange animals on all fours did not speak? Or that a flying animal was dinner? How was she to no that not everyone on this planet could be trusted?

She didn't, and her mistakes where hers to bear with everything else. Along the dock, bathed in a sea of moonlight, was what appeared to be a girl.Her hair was black from what Carina could see. Her clothes where purple, her skirt lays of purple and blue, suiting her black hair well. The girl had her back to Carina, and so she approached steadily. A panther was on the floor, and Carina hesitated, daring to go no further.

"Urm..." She cleared her throat, as her high timid voice came out slightly croaky. "I.. Hello, my names Carina" She smiled brightly. It would be rude not to introduce herself. She took a little step forward, wary of the panther. Carina's hair was long down her back in long silken black waves. Her wide eyes where green, all seeing and seeming endless in their depths. She wore a white dress like a ballerina's, with matching silver slippers. The dress sparkled in the moonlight, castle her into a bright halo of sparkles on the deck. This form was her last resort. If she wasn't accepted like this, then what could she be?

Soon Anika's dreaming was broken when she heard a quiet hissing from her panther. She turned her head quickly to find a girl standing behind her. The girl did not look any older than Anika herself. She wore a beautiful sparkling dress, which made Anika believe that she was from noble blood. She always had a natural distrust and dislike to the wealthy and the noble. If Anika had been the girl she was before entering BADI she would have swindled this girl of her money right then and there, but she could not and did not want to do that anymore.

This girl was different. She was pretty and well dressed, but her speech spoke of a different feeling. The strangers voice was soft and timid. She looked rather defeated and sullen. Anika herself had been that way many a night. Living on your own at such a young age, having no home and no family. Never quite fitting in with the rest of the world. It was a lonely life to lead. Even though Anika had only just met Carina, she felt that they were closer then either of them know.

The gypsy laid her hand on the panther once more, letting out a soft soothing voice " Do not fret Alexia, It is alright." Anika then held out a hand to the girl " Hello Carina, I'm Anika. If you do not mind me asking, why are you in a place like this alone at this time of night?" The girl definitely did not look like she was from Lomedor, was she lost perhaps. Or was she like Anika, fearless of the night and able to function better and feel more peace alone, because that was the only you ever knew how to go about your days.

Ren was just strooling down the way thinking to his self outloud "Damn my parents ,whoevere they may be, for giving me such a loser of a name. Ren" he said with great loathing. "Who wants a name that means love, it is a disgrace". He continued to sulk, walking down the way.

Then something caught his eye and he noticed one of the most ridiculesly dressed people, if you can call her one, that he had ever seen in his life. "Does she not know that it is night. Why is she so bright, some people will never learn". Then he noticed the panther and the other women, and without thinking said out loud "at least she knows it is night".

Then he heard them excange names and thought that the one with the panther was ok but the other one he wasnt to sure about. Ren walked up to them careful to stay out of the panthers range and said to Anika, totally ignoring the other one "my name is Akiyama, it is very nice to meet you". Thinking to himself "I hope they did not hear what I said earlier".
