Star walked along the beach, her hands twisting in the air creating a warm wind to touch her cold skin in the late day. Her silver hair blew in the light breeze, her olive green eyes glittered in the light of the setting sun. Her white dress flowed with the wind as if it were a part of the air itself.
The ocean licked her toes in the warm sand as it rolled onto the beach and back again, its crystal blue waters brilliant. She thought of the people that lived their, the merfolk. People of great radiance and grace.
Star stopped and lay down on her stomach her feet dangling in the air, her silver hair grazing the water that rushed up to her but retreated again. Her hair was silver because of her element, not at all her age.
Star belived herself to be alone so she lifted her hands and created a strong wind, that lifted her off her feat. She danced along above the ocean and in the air, twirls and jumps the wind making a music all on its own. She wished to be a mermaid and dance in the ocean like they could.
After a minute of dancing over the waves she saw something that startled her at first, a mermaid jumped out of the water just as she was doing a split like jump in the air, it jumped with her in perfect unison hitting the ocean as she hit the wind current looking as if dancing on an invisable floor. She could see a pair of eyes watching her, she let the wind catch up again and did a twirl jump in the air. The mermaid jumped out of the water and swirled like her. This continued for some time until she danced back to shore and wadded in up to her waist and called out fo the mermaid.
"Hello?! Is the one that was dancing with me here??" She asked.
