Description: open to all!

Temathil - February 3, 2006 01:57 AM (GMT)
Temathil had been galloping accross the plains for a good portion of the day. She really didnt have a reason why, she just loved the breeze through her hair and the feeling of speed she got. she held her bow in hand just incase as she reached the woods. They didnt seem dangerous to her so she entered, looking around at the large trees with full green leaves. As she walked she came accross a small babbling stream of clear water. She was extremly thirsty after the days long run, and sweat made her skin and hair glisten. Finding a deep part on the stream she waded in, letting the water run over her. The stream had a stronger current than she had thought and her back legs were straining for a bit till she got her balanced. She took a long drink from the stream. It was crisp and cool, and very refreshing. Suddenly she reared up, smiling and sent her front legs and body, crashing down into the stream, the current added to the spalsh and water came cascading up onto her. It was extremly refreshing to her from the hot day. Suddenly she though she heard something in the wood, and still standing in the stream, drew and knocked an arrow on her bow. Gazeing around the woods....

Serafina - February 3, 2006 03:53 AM (GMT)
Serafina had heard what she had thought was a horse, in her dragon form crouching and hunting wasn't all that easy. Only seeing the horse-like part of the person, she shifted her weight and a tree snapped ever so slightly. Cursing in her mind she spread her wings and reared up to stand almost 12 feet above the ground, black scales glistening in the sun, and the red membrane casting a tint on the grass almost gave the illusion of blood. Her eyes stood out from the black in a hue of red. Letting a great growl escape her she noticed that it wasn't a horse, but half a horse, and half a person. Stepping out of trees, she snorted. Well what am I supposed to do with this? She asked herself. She's not exactly human...but horses taste alright...but....

Her head turned to the side as she pondered her dilemma, she lowered her snout to sniff the scent. Not human not animal somewhere between the two... She continued to ponder, barely even noticing the bow. She finally couldn't stand it.

Be you demon, human, or animal. She almost demanded with an under laying natural growl.

Temathil - February 3, 2006 04:53 AM (GMT)
Temathil took in the dragon with wide eyes. She skittered out of the water to the far bank, where she instinctivly reared up, trying to seem bigger against the massive beast. Suddenly it spoke to her, "Be you demon, human, or animal?" it growled.
Temathil finnaly got control of her senses and stood, legs wide, and back legs ready to bolt. Her bow held taught with the arrow.
"My name is Temathil, and i am a centaur. Ive heard about your kind Dragon. You play tricks! Dont move or ill stick you with so many arrows youll look like a pin cushion before you reach the water!"
Inside she was absolutly terrified. If the dragon reached the water she would be out of there, as fast as her horse legs could carry her.

Ploay - February 3, 2006 09:54 AM (GMT)
Smirking lightly, Ploay walked though the woods. The reason she came was because she was wanderer. She didn’t need a reason to travel. The archangel just went with how the wind blew. Quietly, the wind blew and made the end of her hairs dance. It was a tingling feeling on the back of her neck. As she made it though the woods she would hear cracking sounds below. Her leather sandals were breaking twigs when she took a step. Doing her best to not break them so much. The archangel took slow steps. She was wearing her light clothes and leather sandals. She enjoyed wearing light clothes because she didn’t like wearing anything heavy. Then Ploay started to hear two women talk in aggressive voices. What the archangel wanted, was as little violence as possible between to logically thinking creatures. ‘I should check this out.’ She said to herself. She wanted to make so no one would get hurt.

When she made it closer to the sounds, she saw them. It was two of them standing. One was a dragon, and the other was a Centaur. The centaur looked like she just came out of water because she was a little wet. The centaur had her bow out stretched with an arrow ready to shoot at the dragon. ‘What could this dragon had done to upset the centaur?’ Ploay thought to herself. She thought that she should make herself known. “Hey now,” Ploay said softly looking at the centaur’s bow, “is there really a need to do that?” They were near a stream. It was a beautiful stream too. Small but still just as nice. Then the archangel realized that she could be in danger. What if one of them starts to attack her? Ploay gulped slowly at the thought.

The wind was calm and silence was in the air. The smell of grasses filled her nose. It was a pleasant smell of the grass. She waited for some type of answer. Whatever the answer it was, she prayed in her mind that their answer wasn’t “lets go kill the archangel.”

Temathil - February 3, 2006 11:28 AM (GMT)
Temathil, already a bit skitish and on edge, aimed the bow at the newcomer. It was a woman. she asked, "“Hey now, is there really a need to do that?”
"Its a dragon. Id rather shoot it instead of stand here and get eaten." Temathil said mater of factly.
Temathil shift her aim from dragon to human, and then bback to dragon, deciding that was the bigger threat. She whiped her tail nervously, sending a stream of water splashing out and she shifted her feet impatiently.
Why wont this dragon do something?

Serafina - February 3, 2006 12:39 PM (GMT)
Serafina snorted and looked to the new comer. She shifted back to her more human sized and appearance, shifting eyes on the centaur. There will be no need, and I do not play tricks. She spoke softly but with authority.

And who might you be? She looked to the new woman who had interrupted her. And if you don't mind my asking are you a human? She walked over to a small bolder at the edge of the line of trees that she had been hiding behind, it wasn't that big, but large enough for her to sit on, crossing her legs. She sat calmly and patiently waiting for answers.

Ploay - February 3, 2006 03:29 PM (GMT)
Ploay calmly looking at the dragon who turned into a human with uncaring eyes. ‘Why dose she want to know if I’m human or not?’ The archangel thought to herself. It really wasn’t anyone’s business what she was. She wasn’t the type to tell everyone who she is. But again this time was an exception. “No I am not a human.” She said strongly yet quietly. Ploay covered her mouth and yawned. “I know who I am, but my question to you who are you?” She said to the human formed dragon. She almost forgot about the centaur.

Slowly turning her head the archangel looked at the centaur. Not wanting any trouble she spoke to her, “Please put the weapon down.” The archangel didn’t want unnecessary violence. Ploay could feel that the centaur was scared. Did she think that perfect strangers would attack? Maybe she had a dark life and she is really careful to whom she talks to. “I’m not going to fight.” She added. Ploay had a half-dragon like friend. At first she seemed to want to eat her but then she didn’t. True it was scary at first, but not all half-dragons ate the first thing they see. Maybe they ate the second thing they see.

Looking at them back and forth with her emotionless face. She didn’t know what was to come between these two. Or herself for that matter. She slowly sighed. The cool breeze was peaceful at the moment. It wasn’t a calm and silent as it was a moment ago. Then there were footsteps approaching.

Temathil - February 3, 2006 05:19 PM (GMT)
Temathil watched the dragon change into human with amazement.
"No one ever told me dragons could do that." she said.
She lowered her bow, but kept the arrow knocked. She felt like the non-human woman was a good person, but she was unerved by the dragon..human..thing whatever it was. She trotted back over to the side of the stream where the woman stood, keeping an eye on the dragon sitting on the rock near the forests edge.
"Well, if you wont tell us what you are, then may I ask who you are?" Temathil said with a bit of curiosity.

Serafina - February 3, 2006 05:30 PM (GMT)
Serafina laughed. You didn't know because dragon's to my knowledge can't, I am a half dragon. She was still pondering what to do, but finally came to a conclusion.

And you, centaur are to much trouble to decide what to do with, if I were to ingest you, I would disgrace my pallet with human, though if I were to kill you as I would a human, I would feel guilt for letting it go to waste. She was now voicing her train of thought sighing she shrugged. So as I see it there is no way around letting you live, so put that little toy away. She waved a hand motioning to the bow.

I suppose I should apologize for the fright I gave you. She said softly, though clouds still floated through the irises of her eyes, fiddling with her hair she almost forgot the other question of who she was.

Oh, my but that wasn't your question. Standing up she bowed slightly. My name is Serafina, daughter to Cienna, and Veral Della Terre. She smiled and sat back down. Now that I have given you my name it would only be courtesy to know your's. She looked back and forth from one of the other women to the other.

Ploay - February 3, 2006 06:34 PM (GMT)
Courtesy is a word that Ploay knew very well. Her angelic family told her to show kindness. But years from straying away from what she was taught she almost forgot it. The archangel folded her hands together in front of her. She bowed her head lightly, “Please forgive me...my family has given me the name of ‘Ploay.’” She looked at the other two women back and forth with her emotionless eye. The half-dragon seemed to sat on the round rock. While the centaur was standing next to Ploay. The centaur was tell compared to the archangel. She then looked at the centaur, “who are you?” She asked with an almost interested voice. Doing her best to sound like she cared. Not wanted to be rude she lightly bowed her head to the centaur.

The archangel then crossed her arms and gave a slight grin. ‘I wonder what their pasts were.’ She thought to herself. Then thinking that she may be the only angel who looks human, they must wonder what she is. She sighed heavily. The wind softly blew. Should she tell these strangers about her past? She has never told anyone about it. But those two also seemed to hide something. But what?

Ploay walked over to where the grasses were. She then flopped down and crossed her legs. Her arms were still cross and she looked at the other two women. ‘Maybe I’ll tell them later.’ The angel thought to herself. She felt the wind blow and it was starting to tickle her ear. The grass was cozy and soft. And it smelt so grassy. When the wind blew you could hear the grass ruffle against other blades of grass. It was quiet peaceful and the archangel smiled.

Temathil - February 3, 2006 07:48 PM (GMT)
Temathil bowed, front right leg out straight, and left tucked under. Putting the arrow back in its quiver, she slung her bow around her shoulder.
"I am Temathil, from plains along the desert." she said, "And i thank you half-dragon for not eating me." this last statement was full of sarcasm.
Temathil saw the human, Ploay, change her expresion.
She heard something, Temathil thought.
Acting normal she lay down on the grass by the stream, and unslinging her bow, lay it in the grass next to her. She didnt want to be taken by suprise again.

Ploay - February 3, 2006 09:49 PM (GMT)
As Ploat sat there while the centaur introduced herself, she felt as if something was watching them. It was coming from a tree behind them. Small brown leaves fell as something was making to it across branch to branch. The tree leaves rustled quietly. Ploay could hear the wind softly as it blew near her ear, “something is coming Ploay.” It was a quiet and gentle voice. Not being able to tell what gender the voice was, Ploay said, “who are you?” Ploay’s voice matched with the wind. When she talked like thing it almost sounded like the wind itself. Only the archangel could understand what the wind was saying as it blew. The archangel took the wind’s advice.

She stood up and looked at the treetop. A small black ball dropped down to the ground. It made a whooshing sound as it landed in the grass a feet away from her. As the ball of fur unwrapped itself she noticed it was a hedgehog. But when the hedgehog turned its head towards Ploay. She noticed it wasn’t a normal hedgehog. The mouth of the hedgehog was foaming. It growled at her. This was an odd sight. Sense when do hedgehogs climb trees? Slowly, Ploay took a step back.

These hedgehogs were abnormal size too. They were about three feet tall. Ploay has never seen such a sight. Then two more hedgehogs came down from the trees. “Uh, ladies, I could use some help.” The hedgehogs started to get closer to her. But then two other hedgehogs noticed the two other women. So one hedgehog waddled to the half-dragon. And the other hedgehog waddled to the centaur.

The hedgehogs got closer and then all three of them blinked. And red eyes were glaring at the three women. These were demonic hedgehogs. Ploay prayed in her head that she could live though the day.

Serafina - February 3, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
Serafina laughed at the hedgehogs, and shifted her form, poking at one of them with her long tail. What shall we do with the little pests? She asked in the deep rumbly voice, still poking the hedgehog contentedly.

They seem amusing enough... She poked the one that had waddled up to her in the stomach and it rolled up tightly, and she began to push it around a little like a ball. They're kind of cute... She said as quietly as she could, they didn't smell of animal, but more of demon, so she knew that she couldn't willingly hurt them. She lay down and pushed the ball of a hedgehog around in circles, waiting for an answer from the Temathil, and Ploay.

Temathil - February 3, 2006 10:23 PM (GMT)
"What are those?!" Temathil exclaimed, leaping to her hooves.
She quickly knocked an arrow as she noticed one of the creature waddling towards her. It looked like a hedghog, but it was big, then she noticed the red eyes.
"Oh, your a demon." she said as she loosed an arrow into it. She quickly knocked another as a few more came towards her. Backing up, one of her hooves sunk into the river. Fighting in a deep stream like that, she knew was bad. She quickly glance up at the clearing. She could run around to where the Dragon was, or she could got to where the large group of the demons were congregating around the human.
She loosed another arrow as she went galloping off towards the human. She leapt over the heads of the hedhogs at full speed, landing in the center with the human, an arrow drawn, and came to a sudden stop, almost in a sitting postion trying to compensate for the momentum.
"So what now?" she asked, while loosing an arrow, catching a demon in the chest and fliping it back.

Ploay - February 3, 2006 11:01 PM (GMT)
The archangel put her hands in her pockets, “Well they don’t look too dangerous.” She spoke in a pale uncaring voice. She softly sighed then walkeds over to one hedgehog that wasn’t being played with the dragon, and didn’t have an arrow in its chest. She picked up the hedgehog and looked deep into its eyes. “Now you run on home now. And if you kill innocents, I will find out.” She said closing her eyes with a wide grin. “And when I find out...” Her tone of voice become deep, “I will kill you.” She then plopped the hedgehog back on the ground.

She looked at the hedgehog was uncaring eyes. The hedgehog didn’t know what to make out of this. Sure they were a little cute. But if they tried to sink their teeth into anyone. They would loose a few teeth. The hedgehog looked at her with confused eyes. The wind softly blew. Was this some sort of joke? These hedgehogs were push overs. The archangel turned her back on the hedgehog.

She then felt a pinch of pain on her heel. She looked down and the little hedgehog had bitten her. A light chuckle arouse from her mouth. She then shook the hedgehog off of her heel. The hedgehog plopped off of her heel. The three hedgehogs started to make their run-away. A light smirk came on Ploay’s face. She then looked at the centaur. “Gosh your quick to draw your weapon aren’t you?” She said it in a joking manner. It has been a long time sense Ploay had a laugh. She smiled up at the sky. The cool breeze was pleasant. She thought they might as well know what she is. She sat down on the grass. “If you really want to know what I am, I shall tell you.” She looked down and crossed her arms and legs. Her face went back to its emotional state.

Temathil - February 4, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
Temathil watched the human scold the demon. She couldnt believe her eyes. Shed always been told demons were ferocious foes, even when small.
"I dont believe. How can you just scold a demon and it leaves? My father always told me demons are vicous creatures." she said, then looked at the dragon that was playing with the demon. She lowered her bow. She reddened slightly.
"I guess i over reacted. Not used to demons. Or dragons."
she looked at the human.
"So, who are you?" she asked.

Serafina - February 4, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
Serafina snorted, and her appearance shifted again. You aren't used to either of those things, and I am not used to your kind. I guess we are on the same level. She looked to the being whom looked like a human, as the little hedgehog that she had been playing with waddled off to the trees.

Yes do tell, there is an odd scent about you, I can't quite place it. She said sniffing the air again, it was filled with something, different, that was the only way she could think of it sitting on the grass now she crossed her legs and bent forward holding her chin with her hands. Her back cracked a few times, though it felt relatively nice to stretch.

Ploay - February 4, 2006 01:45 AM (GMT)
The archangel looked at the centaur, “not every bedtime story is correct my friend.” She looked away for a moment. “Just like, not only fallen angels are sent away from their homes.” She closed her eyes. She didn’t want to be too dramatic so she tried to talk about something else before she went into her life history. “Some demons can be strong, and others...well not so strong.” Her mind started to wonder on her friend who was a demon. She spoke in a voice that almost seemed happy, “like I have this demon friend. And he isn’t as strong as other demons, but still strong.” She thought about Roshnak for a second. She remembered his deep black eyes. And how is shortness was funny. Yet no matter how short he was, she sensed great potential in him.

She lightly shock her head and tried to go back on track. “Alright, I’m an archangel.” She spoke quietly. “Long story short, my angelic brethren sealed my power and appearance in my birthmark.” She rolled up her sleeve and showed her birthmark. It was brown and it looked like a plain splotch on her left arm. “So anywho, they made me live out in the world all alone.” She talked as if she didn’t care about what they did. “They told me it was an experiment, but I have yet to find out what it was. And I can open the seal by will or when I’m over emotional. Like sadness, anger, and sometimes happiness.” Then taking a break to smell the air. It all was calm so she kept talking. She hugged her knees, “so that is my story, care to talk about yours?” She looked back and forth from the centaur to the half-dragon.

She waited and watched to see who would answer her first. 'Oh well, if they think of me badly I guess I could just keep walking with the wind and put this confersation in the past.' She thought to herself looking away in the distance

Serafina - February 4, 2006 01:59 AM (GMT)
Serafina smiled sadly. My bedtime stories usually ended in bloodshed...and were very accurate...and more or less correct about one thing at least. She contemplated her own story it wasn't glamorous and it wasn't all that sad. Though she didn't find the archangel's story tear jerking.

I was born of Cienna, a demon warrior, my mother, and a powerful shadow dragon, Veral Della Terre. She paused and thought back on the story that her mother once told her so many years ago. Just before war broke out in the lands where we lived, my mother and soldiers, human soldiers, I killed my father. My mother escaped, and she and I lived happily for many years, 15 to be exact. She loved me so, and I her. She paused she felt almost sick to her stomach telling this story, she could almost imagine her mother, telling her the story of her father, felt. We lived happily enough until the humans came back, my mother protected myself and our home, though it ended horribly and she ended up hurting me more then anything. She was killed, and I have sworn my vengeance on the humans for their wretched deeds.

She ended her story on a note of pure utter hatred, and disdain. Still sitting in the stretch she sighed. Though that is behind me, and all I have in front of me is the prospect of cleansing this land, purging it if you will of the spineless humans. She spoke calmly and uncaringly about the lives that she wished to take, talking about them as though they were weeds that needed pulling from the beautiful garden of Arda, and the rest of the world.

Temathil - February 4, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
Temathil stared in suprise at Plaoy.
"So your an angel? wow."
Slinging her bow back on her back she went and layed herself down by the stream again.
"My story isnt all that amazing. I grew up on plains near the desert in a small village. My father was a craftsman in the village, and was quite skilled with bow making. He is the one who taught me how to shoot. Eventually i got restless and felt the urge to see the world outside the village. So i simply packed a few things one day and set off. There were no roads, so i took the direction opposite that of the desert. Eventually i hit a dirt road after a few days, and following for a week or two, i came up these lands, and the city of Tara."
She plucked some grass while she spoke, examining it, then tossing it into the stream, watching it float down the the water. she shruged, "As i said, not all that exciting."

Ploay - February 4, 2006 05:40 AM (GMT)
The archangel thought about Serafina’s story. Although it was sad how both her parents died to humans, she didn’t really care. Ploay sniffed up loose snot in her nose. The archangel stopped caring about stuff in the past. That is why she didn’t like bringing up her past. The huge feeling of uncaring about the past was all to great for her. Ploay didn’t like the thought of this half-dragon going around and killing humans. Not all humans were morons. But she thought it would be best to keep that thought inside. Revenge was such a dark word. Sometimes she had heard the fallen angels saying that they were going to get their revenge. Lightly snickering Ploay remembered how the fallen angels would do things to get back at whatever made them fallen angels. Most of the time they would be caught and punished again. The archangel found this humorous, the punished, get more punishment.

As long as the half-dragon didn’t kill any of Ploay’s human friends then they would be okey. But then again, she doesn’t have any human friends. She raised her eye brow at the thought she had. Maybe the half-dragon did such a good job killing humans that there wasn’t much left. What type of goal is it to just go on a human killing spree?

She stopped snicker then looked at the centaur. She listened quietly as she spoke. 'Gosh what boring lives we have lived.' She thought to herself. Why was she listening to these stories of the past that she cared nothing for? As she pondered on the thought. She stood up and looked at the cool stream. Her mind started to drift away.

Temathil - February 4, 2006 06:44 AM (GMT)
Temathil looked around at the company and felt a little uneasy. a very cold angel, and a dragon that was far too open minded. Getting up she walked over the angel.
"What makes you so cold? I thought you were supposed to be the guardians of mortals." she asked.
Temathil knew this was a bad idea as the words left her mouth, but her curiousity would not rest.

Ploay - February 4, 2006 11:29 AM (GMT)
"What makes you so cold? I thought you were supposed to be the guardians of mortals." The centaur asked. Ploay blinked at her. It was true that some of the archangels did guard mortals. But the Ploay didn’t understand why a mortal would guard a mortal. An angel could die, and it is a higher chance to die when their power is sealed up. Ploay thought for a moment. She didn’t want to give the centaur false facts. The archangel wiggled her nose because it was starting to itch. Slowly, rubbing the bottom of her nose with her finger. The archangel never knew someone so curious about her for no reason. She then lifted her arms in the air and stretched. Then she brought her arms back down and crossed them. Sometimes she did guard mortals, but not all the time. Mortals to her, were just people who could die. Nothing more, nothing less. And besides, she wasn’t given the order to protect anyone. If people wanted her protection, they would have to ask.

When the centaur got closer. Ploay could smell the wet fur on her. It was a little stinky but she has smelled worse. The archangel was big on smells. She enjoyed the good smells, and had a distaste for overly stenches. She decided it was time to answer Temathil. She spoke to her in a calm voice, “if every angel was busy protection every mortal then no angel would have a life. Can you imagine every angel helping someone? If that were true then life would be almost perfect and peacful.” Doing her best to hide her annoyance for the centaur. But her voice was starting to come out in an angry tone, “Also, to answer your first question...I had this bad experience by not being emotionless. And it killed.” Her mind wandered off to that day.

The day when she saw the hurt man. And how she was so sad that she turned into her angelic form. She shook her mind from thinking about the little boy. ‘That poor boy..’ She thought to herself. If only the child had made some sort of noise, then maybe his pure soul wouldn’t have been lifted up from his body. Then she shuddered lightly from the thought of the past. Ploay looked around her.

This was quiet a beautiful place. “How about all three of us go exploring here?” She said to them in a quiet voice. Besides the smell of the centaur it was a pretty nice smelling place. But if they rather sit and talk she could do that. She walked up to a tree. When she took a step some of the twigs would crunch beneath her feet. She turned her back to the tree, then leaned up against it. Her arms still cross looking at the other two women. It was their choice. At the moment Ploay wasn’t planning to go anywhere. And she did like the company.

Temathil - February 5, 2006 12:31 AM (GMT)
Temathil thought about what the angel said.
"I guess your right about not every angel protecting someone. And leave you too your own secrets about being emotioinless." Temathil got the distinct impression the Angel didnt want to talk about it.
"How about we all go exploring." the angel then asked, walking to lean up against a tree. Temathil looked around for a few seconds. The woods did seem to go for a long wways. Her curiousity was peaked and she nodded.
"That sounds like an intresting idea."

Serafina - February 10, 2006 10:39 PM (GMT)
Serafina sighed and shrugged at the idea. I guess that sounds like an ok idea, perhaps something a little more interesting will happen and I'll get my lunch... She heard her stomach growl at her, as she looked to the wooded area and took in a few scents. Checking the air for life of any kind, mostly dear, or horse, it didn't really matter to her; any kind of larger animal would suffice. Taking a few steps she looked at the others. Have either of you ever tracked or hunted before? She asked truly curious, if they had it would be a little nice to have people with her, if they hadn’t she could possibly teach them.

Ploay - February 10, 2006 11:21 PM (GMT)
The archangel looked at Serafina with an interested look. She has seen others hunt before. But she never really tried. It was hard for Ploay to kill innocents. Even if they were just animals. She had a soft spot for the furry animals. But she also knew never to get a half-dragon angry. If the dragon wanted meat, by goodness give it meat! Ploay scratched her head. “Well I have seen some people hunt, but I’ve never tried it for myself.” She spoke in a calm tone of voice. Ploay was just like that, keeping her emotions inside. The archangel didn’t mention how she felt about killing animals. Ploay was a vegetarian sense birth. But this half-dragon was hungry. And if a life had to be taken to save another, then so be it. It was the wonderful way of life.

Looking around she spotted something moving in the grass. Whatever it was, it made a galloping sound. It sounded like a dear. But Ploay could have been wrong, maybe a horse? Well, it would soon be Serafina’s dinner once it was caught. “I wont kill the animal, but I’ll help you kill it.” Ploay said in a whisper to Serafina. Then odd silence over came the area. As Ploay waiting for an answer.

(sorry for the short post, all my todays telent went into the tornament hehe)
