Title: Stella's first Seaside Christmas Party
Description: [Private] - PM invite only!

Star Dust - December 24, 2007 11:06 PM (GMT)
(( A small party for you guys, hope you enjoy it! ))

The beach was covered with tables offering the finest foods. Stella smiled, making her way to one of the tables and checking it had everything needed. The first to check out was the foot table.

Lembas Wafers, as she heard the elves loved these.
meats of all kinds, such as Pork, Beef, Chicken, Lamb, rabbit and Pig.
Vegetables, such as carrots, green beans, sweetcorn and peas, and other such food products, like potatoes. Stella then made her way to the drinks table.

Hot coco, ale, whiskey, water and not forgetting eggnog. Then there was the last stand, which was filled with candles. She smiled. Everything was ready. The people of Lómëdor had invited her here, and given her some invitations for friends, which Stella had already sent out. She smiled at passing town folk, and had small chat with an elderly women. Soon her desired guests would be here.

Making her way to the bottom of the cliffs where a wooden stage had been set up, she swapped jokes with the musicians until it was there time to play. When that happened she swayed in time to the music, having a generally good time.

At last guests began to arrive, and Stella smoothed out her clothes fussily.

Jaina - December 25, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
Another invitation? Well two, is better than, ten she thought. Because, before she arrived here, she received so many invitation, for gatherings like those. Jaina, hoped that none will come, for she wanted to spend the holidays alone, in solitude. But, since that did not happened, she decided to visit those, who so kindly invited her.

Luckily, she has been in the great library of, Lómëdor. And, thanks to the old, librarian there, she knew from who was the invitation, and where to go. As, she departed from the library, a thought began to 'chew' her up. Jaina, did not knew the rituals here, but from her land the people, gave each other presents. But how to buy one, when she only, had what 2-3 gold peaces?

Finally, upon arriving at the place written on the card, she felt uneasy, due to the missing present. When, she was there, a plan was concocted. At first, Jaina only took out the small angel statuette, from her pack. Then, she infused it with life, by animating it. The, statuette did not, grew arms or legs, since it already possessed such, along with a pair of, small wings. Then she placed, it upon her shoulder, to lead her, so that she do not crash or trip anywhere.

Then, as the improvised guide, led Jaina, throughout the tables, loaded for a gathering of an army, she saw a familiar face. At, first Jaina thought this to be very strange but then remembered, what was the reason. This, was Stella, the one who helped her regain her sight, though only when she is around her.

Approaching, Stella once again caused, Jainas eyes to be able to see, her. Though it was only, a person to be seen, it was something, not like before a complete darkness and loneliness. As, she approached, Stella further, Jaina could hear the birds sing, and found it somewhats odd. But ignoring, this fact, she spoke to Stella, since she was close enough and did not needed to shout. Hello, my dear friend. It's so kind of you to invite me here, to your party. She, thought that this will be enough of a greeting, so, Jaina said nothing more.

Naois - December 25, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Naois walked, some what nervously, through town. A party. He had never been invited to an actual party before. So it was sort of acceptable that he was uneasy. "Was I supposed to bring a present? What am I supposed to do?" He rubbed his temples in focus. What had he read about a normal party? Gifts were often exchanged, he didn't have a gift. One strike there. Talk? Yes, he could do that. What else? He couldn't remember.

(Nothing else to say sadly D:)

Melusine Flarell - December 25, 2007 03:31 AM (GMT)
Melusine's mouth was watering as she approached the party. Everything looked so delicious! She thought she would try the egg nog first; she'd never had that before.

"Stella! Good to see you! My ankle is so much better now, see?" Melusine grinned at her new friend, and nodded to one elf (Jaina) whom she had seen at Gil-Estel's party. (Jaina was really a human but she had had no idea. She was too nice to be human.) She couldn't wait to dig into all that food!

Star Dust - December 26, 2007 02:08 PM (GMT)
The firs to greet her was Jaina, and Stella hugged her in a friendly manner. "Hello, my dear friend. It's so kind of you to invite me here, to your party." Jaina said, and Stella smiled. "I'm glad you came!" She announced, then turned to see Naois.

"Naois! It's nice to see you!" She gushed, then ran over and hugged him. She smiled. "How have you been?" She asked, then noticed another person. She walked over and hugged Melusine Flarell. "It's good to see you." She announced, by this time her smile - and glow- was incredibly bright. She was very happy.

The music started up, and Stella stood watching. She loved dancing. She tapped her foot along, then sighed, taking a hot coco from the refreshments table. She drank, grateful for the heat.

GilEstel - December 27, 2007 05:17 PM (GMT)
As Gil-Estel slowly rode up to the gates of Lomedor, he reflected on all he could remember about the host of the party he was attending. He remembered the first time he had ever met her in his home city of Yomeniempa. He remembered the conversations they had had about Stella's life as a star and he remembered teaching her his language of Sindarin.

He slowly trotted up to the entrance to the Ëarsúl Marina and dismounted Rilgilad. Walking into the main area of the Marina he spotted many familiar faces. Seeing Melusine Flarell talking to Stella he walked up to them. "Well met." He said. "How are you both?"

Melusine Flarell - December 27, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
"Gil-Estel! I didn't expect to see you! I am well, thank you, and yourself?"

Removing two small parcels from the pocket of her dress, Melusine presented them to Stella. "Here are a couple of small gifts for you. I hope you like them. They are things all girls need," she said with a grin. She couldn't wait to see what Stella thought of the hand mirror and comb.

Star Dust - December 27, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
Stella opened them, curiosity and excitement flooding through her. When she finely got the packages open she gasped, then hugged Melusine. "I LOVE them!" She gasped, staring into the mirror at the reflection. She picked up the comb and ran it through her silky silvery blond hair. She giggled.

"Truly i love them! I also have a gift for you! I picked this little guy up in the Swamp of Shadows. Truth be told, a little fellow as cute had him shouldn't be in such a scary place, and so i thought you could look after him!" She presented Melusine with the baby newt, his wide eyes big and vast. Stella giggled.

"You better name him, or else i shall! And i can't name pets for chocolate! And you no how much i love chocolate!" She laughed.

Naois - December 27, 2007 11:07 PM (GMT)
Naois nodded and looked around at the growing gathering, "You know...them all?" This was baffling for Naois, who hardly knew anybody at all. He shrugged and looked the guests up and down. Lots of elves, and I'm the only angel? He narrowed his eyes in thought, that would make some sense.

He didn't really care, just thoughts led to other thoughts and so forth. He wandered around the party area, not doing much of anything. He looked at the musicians where they started playing something that meant to be danced to, but then he turned away. Naois continued walking around the otherwise happy party.

Star Dust - December 27, 2007 11:12 PM (GMT)
The music started up and Stella began to jump around. "Oooh I've always wanted to dance" She gushed, then a thought hit her. "come on! Lets all dance" She laughed as she ran to the dance area, and began to jump around in her idea of dancing. Why was everyone watching her like that? She stopped, her cheeks colouring.

She tip-toed off the dance platform. Guess she couldn't dance after all. Sighing, she walked over to the drinks area and snagged some wine. What the people don't no wont hurt them, and anyways, she was older then this planet, if she wanted some wine she could have some! She drank it fast. It was watered down!! She walked back over the the group of people she had been talking too, and on the way spotted Naois.

"Hey! Naois! Come join us!" She shouted over to him, then skipped over to her friend.

Melusine Flarell - December 28, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
"He's adorable!" said Melusine. "How did you know I needed a little animal friend? Since Xelus died I have missed him terribly. Hmmm, I think I'll call him Celadon because he's very green." She held the little fellow in one hand and stroked him gently. "You're right, he shouldn't be in the Swamp of Shadows. If it terrifies you and me, how much scarier it must be for a little thing like him! Thank you Stella. I love him! Come on Celadon, let's go see what Gil-Estel thinks of you." She started to walk away and then paused. "What have you been feeding him? I've never had a newt before."

Jaina - December 28, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Jaina, stood a bit in the side, listening to the others speaking with Stella. Jaina, watched Stella's glow increase as, she spoke with a elf, woman. The same, that Jaina healed her leg, on another party. The light, Stella gave almost made, Jaina turn away, but she did not. Because, she saw Stella, only few times and was the only thing that she could see.

Shortly, after her, Gil-Estel had arrived and greeted them. Though, he did not Greet Jaina, she smiled and said Gil-Estel, how nice to meet you again. But when, Melusine gave something to, Stella. Jaina, felt even more uncomfortably, for not bringing something, to Stella. Then, after Stella, said that she love, whatever Melusine, had gave her. She, gave some, sort of an animal in return. From the bird's songs, Jaina could not hear where did, Stella took the small animal. But judging from, that Stella said, that she took it from, scary place, Jaina thought that it was from the Land of the dead.

Then, as the orchestra started, to play some music, Stella asked them to dance. Then, Jaina saw her moving, away from them, and her shine begun to fade, from her vision. But, not long after that, it once again, began to increase, as Stella returned. She, yelled to some one to join them, and then she rapidly approached them.

Once, again remembering that, she has brought nothing Jaina, stepped aside. When she made few steps, the female elf spoke to Stella, saying that, she loved her new animal friend. Melusine, was going to name it, Celadon because of the color. Also, Jaina understood from where did, Stella find the little animal.

Then, Jaina stopped and, moved her sightless gaze upon, the water, or at least the diriction from which the sound came. The, small statuette was still sitting, upon Jaina's shoulder doing nothing. Until a thought, formed into her, head.

Jaina, left her travel, pack on the rugged, ground along with her staff and walked toward Stella. When, she stood infront of her, Jaina spoke with a smile Stella, I know that i did not brought you anything, but i have a surprise for you, should you agree to come with me. Hoping that, the girld would agree, she smirked to her "sinister" plan.

Star Dust - December 28, 2007 02:30 PM (GMT)
Stella turned and saw Jaina approaching her. Her face lit up. "Hiya Jaina!" She called, her arms interlocked behind her back, as she swayed forwards. "Stella, I know that i did not brought you anything, but i have a surprise for you, should you agree to come with me" Jaina spoke, and Stella moth opened in an 'O'. Surprise? She loved surprises!

"Sure I'll come!" She turned to Melusine. "I think he likes to eat coco leaves... I'm not too sure to be honest!" She went on, as she walked away with her other friend. "I'll be back in a while!" She called over, as not to worry anyone.

Countess Celena - December 30, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
Celena walked into the party. A warm, comfortable feeling washed over her as she quickly grab an eggnog from the table. She peered across the room. "Stella. Thanks for the invite." As she walked across the room some of the eggnog splashed out of the glass and onto her robe. "I swear, you would never know i was an elf." She smiled at herself and shrugged then wiped the drink off with her palm. "No harm, no foul." She looked around again to see if anyone was watching and quickly downed her drink and started to look for another.
