Inside the great mountains of Ered Annon, there was a cave. There were many cave, of course, but this one was special: It gave of a ever present glow. If one was to venture inside, they would be met by large bursts of heat. If this specticle did not scare the intruder off. The entryway would lead you down a small tunnel that goes down at a steep angle for many miles.
Many have died from the walk (climb more likley) down, either from falling and tumbling or from heat exhastion. If, however, someone did get down to the bottem, they would blinded from what they saw.
Hundreds of glowing objects and items, almost all of them looking magical in some sense. Around the piles of items, a steady stream of lava moved in streams across the room before dissipearing into holes in the side of the walls. Across from the room, a throne of ruby and gold stood, seeming to cost at least three of the mountains it was beneath. These sights of course were never seen because of the obstacles, untill now.
Grask smirked as he straighten his spine out. He had gotten to the bottem of the hill corridor, and found himself stupified by what he saw. Many gems, at least a dozen glowing weapons, and the thing that made him the most shocked....an idol.
On top of the other items was a fist sized idol of some sort, perhaps a unholy symbol. It was shaped into that of a demon, covered in spiked chains. It was shockingly red, as if crafted from a large ruby. Inside it, a faint glow could be seen.
Grask literly giggled upon seeing this. 'Lucky me, lucky me! This will fetch quite a high price, now won't it?' the little man thought to himself before grabbing the idol, and a large black, glowing axe, and began climbing back up the jagged hillside-like passage.
Beiniā's Awakening
After an hour of the man's dissapearance, the cave began to loss its luster. The walls no longer glowed, the weapons and trinkets began to wither and rust, and the magma began to slowly harden into rock. a sad moment indeed, as you could have guessed.
As the last of the lava froze into place, something bizzare happened. A section of the newly formed rock began to crack, until a fissure formed. A moment later, the rock was engulfed in flames, newly formed lava spraying across the room. Where the fissure used to be, at stepped a beautiful form of chaos.
An elemental of sorts, the woman that had formed had a very curvy shape. The shape was formed from the lava rock and magma that made up her body. Her face was in similer fashion, although to spikes formed on both sides of her face. Two massive horns sprouted from her head, curving slightly to increase the devil like appearance. Flames surrounded her body, giving her the look of a fire goddess.
Her name was Beiniā, and she was pissed.
Beiniā looked around her once radient room. She looked slightly at the weapons, which were melting from the magma and heat she was giving off, and smirked. She then looked over to her throne. All seemed in order, so what could of disturbed her sleep she wondered. It then hit her when looking to the center on the room, where she kept her armor. The idol was gone!
Flames erupted to every corner of the room, lava falling from the now heated ceiling. Without bothering to grab a now rusted and melting weapon, Beiniā slammed forward and up the shoot of a passage, the tunnel closing behind her from the lava.
When Beiniā found her way to the surface, she bellowed a horrid howl, whic caused most of the living things on the mountain to grimise. Black, shadow-like wings sprouted from her back, before blasting off through the forest, catching many things on fire in the process of searching for the theif.
(there, post away guys)
"Ok... what in the hell was that," Leman Russ had seen some weird things in his life but that... something that had a howl that immolated the soul, wings of pure ash, and it set almost everything on fire that it touched what ever it was it didn't look friendly, and Leman Russ didn't want that thing torching the forrest, he didn't like fire in general. He started to run in the direction that the thing went, it wasn't hard to follow her, ash rained down from where leaves were scorched and it left almost perfect trail, or at least for one that knew how to follow one. But there was something else among the ashes, footprints. Leman Russ bent down to inspect one, it was a smaller shoe, humanoid. It certainly was human, e"lves, hobbits, and gnomes don't leave that deep of a print and dwarves have huge feet. Whatever that fire thing was it was hunting this human. Leman Russ continued to run down the train, "Ugh... what a day, a wolf goes out to hunt a deer and ends up tracking a fire beast, demon, thinggy... and the human that unfortunate enough to have pissed it off."
Leman russ halted as he saw the thing in the sky once again, he saw it better now, it was made of lava, constantly surrounded in flames, wicked horns protruding from its head. "Ugh... it had to be fire, I hate fire," he said to himself as he ran on. It was there in the air, Leman Russ was now in range of his bow, he drew back "Oi, get out of my forrest."He yelled as he fired an arrow into it's back, the arrow shaft caught fire and the head melted doing no apparent damage. What it did to was get the creature's attention, and boy did look like its having a bad day. "Oh crap... " Leman Russ said as he knew that that his day was about to get worse.
