Title: To Kill the Spiders
Description: Private

Vencrest Kianthis - December 22, 2007 03:58 PM (GMT)
Vencrest jumped off the back of his dragon, with Trekella following behind him. His feet clanked as he landed with a loud thud on the stony rocks below. He pulled himself up, and looked at his surroundings. This side of the mountain was dotted with a various amount of trees, and a few cavern entrances. The only part that was odd about this tranquil scene, was that it was covered in spider webs. It was the home of the spiders. Vencrest walked towards the first cave entrance, and glanced into the hole. It was dark, but his Infravision allowed him to glance into the depths of the cave.

Vencrest had been offered a lot of money to do this quest, yet it seemed almost impossible to do by himself. He had sent for his friends to help, so that he wouldn't die on such a mission. His task was to venture inside these spider infested caves, and find a diary inside them. It sounded impossible, for the caves were huge and filled with deadly insects. The man who hired him was rich, and paid him to find the diary of his dead daughter. His wisping wraith flew down from the back of the dragon as well, his dark robes flitting in the wind as his small body descended.

He landed on Vencrest's robes, a soft chuckle emitting from the darkness of his hood. He was going to have fun, while Vencrest, Valerik, Saeborn, and Ladislaus slaughtered the horde of spiders that dwelt with in the cave. Vencrest propped himself against the cave wall, waiting for his allies to arrive, listening to the skitter of feet along the cave walls.

Ladislaus - December 22, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
Ladislaus stood on a hill, surrounded by the mist and stone of the mountains. Gazing around, he soon saw a creature soaring through the air, about two hundred feet above the ground. Vencrest... Ladislaus knew the creature, as he had seen it many times. It was Vencrest's dragon, and Ladislaus was very thankful for this. He had recently had a run-in with some spiders, and had received some minor injuries, but nothing he couldn't bear. The thing was, the last thing he wanted was to run into those spiders again.

Vencrest had told him to come to the mountains and meet him, though for what reason Ladislaus had little idea. It didn't matter though. Ladislaus and Vencrest went back quite a while, so he needed little persuasion to help the drow. And the fact that he might get paid sure helped him decide as well.

The drow dismounted from his dragon, followed by a wolf-creature named Trekella, as well as a ghost-like creature which Ladislaus had not encounted before. Ladislaus was about a quarter of a kilometer away from Vencrest, yet Vencrest had not yet seemed to notice Ladislaus.

Ladislaus hurried over to his comrade, and soon was standing next to him, panting for breath. "Hello, Vencrest," Ladislaus greeted, "Why exactly did you want me here again? I remember you said something about retrieving a journal from somewhere nearby, but I can't recall exactly what you said." Ladislaus waited for his ally's reply, he noticed a large group of spiders, about fourteen, scurrying over to them.

"Never mind, you can tell me later, we need to take care of those spiders! Be careful, I believe they are poisonous!" Ladislaus yelled, beginning to hope for the arrival of Valerik and Saeborn...

Vencrest Kianthis - December 22, 2007 11:42 PM (GMT)
Vencrest saw Ladislaus approaching, ready to help him on his task that they would perform.

Be careful, I believe they are poisonous!" Ladislaus yelled. Vencrest looked to the entrance of the cave, to see the horde of spiders headed towards him. 'Valerik and Saeborn need to get here fast, these spiders will prove to be quite a threat! Vencrest drew out his blade, ready to combat the spiders that approached him. They would prove to be quite a threat, since one bite would prove to be deadly. He would win though, he would kill them all.

One lunged at him, in an attempt to kill him, but Vencrest held out his blade, and the spider landed on it, dead. He pushed off its dead body, looking for more that might come. Trekella had already killed one with her deadly sharp claws, and the little wraith had pulled off a hair on another, scurring away from it as the beast chased it. Vencrest stabbed another, decapitating, running towards the one that was chasing the little wraith. He plunged his sword deep with in its flesh, sending odd colored blood splattering across the hard rocks.

Valindor Rishka - January 9, 2008 11:13 AM (GMT)
Valindor heard squeaking and moaning through thr cave, his body dripped with
a mixture of sweat and blood, gained from the distance he had travelled to reach
this place. The only reason he had come here was because it is said a Clan of Dwarves known as the Durg mountain Dwarves are said to reside here, and that they wield a great book worth thousands of gold. Obviously somebody else had
also heard this, as he could tell from the noises. Slowly, Valindor released the string in which held the cloak to his back, as it dropped to the puddled floor beneath him. Valindor looked around the place, examining the enviroment. The cave looked like any other cave he'd been to, other then the dozens of Large spider webs randomly placed throughout the cave. "One big spider lurks here" He thought as he wrapped his horses reigns around his wrist. "Ehh, C'mon tya bloody horsey" he said as he took his first step into the cave complex.

Meanwhile, there were moans and screams from a distance, Valindor wrapped the
reigns tighter around his hand and start into a jog, being very careful not to step or land in any spider webs. As he continued into the cave he stopped at a most gruesome sight.

*eh, if your still doing this rp scene then you continue it, maybe like i walk in and somethings dead all over the place or somethin* :-D
