Title: A Strange Meeting
Description: Open to all
Ardus - December 10, 2007 08:17 PM (GMT)
It only took several days of travel but Ardus finally made it to his home in the Taurai Woods. He had to sacrifice most of his sleep during the time it took him to travel back. He arrived late in the afternoon to the sounds of birds chirping to each other as they went looking for a place to nest. Most of the trees in the forest had just about lost all of their leaves due to the coming of winter. The same went for Ardus though he still had quite a lot of leaves attached to his branches. His usual dark green colored leaves were now a variety of yellows, reds and browns. Ardus let out a loud drawn out yawn that echoed throughout the forest. It was an eerie sound that spooked many of the animals in the forest. The only beings unafraid of such a noise were the many trees of the Taurai woods. In fact they glad that one of the Ent kind had returned to their forest.
Ardus slowly walked through the woods making sure not to step on any small animals or damage any young saplings. His long strides seemed to cause him a slight discomfort since every winter caused his joints to stiffen up. Another side effect of winter was the want to sleep even more then he does during the warmer months. His slow movements finally brought him to a small grove of ancient oak trees at the center of the Taurai woods. This was the exact place where he had been awoken by the Goddess of Nature during Arda's infant years. He breathed heavily and spoke in his beings ancient language. "It is good to finally be home amongst my brothers...Long has it been since I have seen such glorious beings as yourselves..." Ardus' voice boomed throughout the now quiet forest.
Night had finally fallen on the home of the mighty Ent and the call of sleep grew stronger. The massive Ent moved to the center of the grove where there was an empty spot amongst the ancient Oaks. With heavy footsteps he made his way to that very spot. He set his feet apart then rooted himself to the ground so his weight would not cause him to fall over as he slept. Then with another mighty yawn he shut his eyes finally going to sleep for the first time in days. As the forest quieted the sounds of other creatures moving around in the moonlit night could be heard moving closer. It seemed that Ardus' vocalizations had caught the attention of other beings that had been nearby.
Star Dust - December 10, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
Stella walked through the woods in awe. The trees where magnificent, large and powerful, yet the wood was quite small. The night was cold, and Stella need to find refuge.
Her silvery blond hair was blowing in the light breeze, and her glow seemed greater. Her silk dress was flowing like water, and her breathe came out in little puffs. Holding her bow in place she looked up at the great trees.
Finding a large tree Stella approached it shivering, and began to climb. Resting on one of the top branched she sat and looked at the view, which was magnificent. She felt as though she could feel the whole of Arda! Sighing in contentment, the ground suddenly seemed to move, knocking Stella around.
She grabbed at the tree, trying to keep her place, but she was not strong enough. Stella began to fall from the tree, the ground coming to meet her fast, her soft voicing making on last sound.
"Help!"
Ardus - December 11, 2007 04:46 AM (GMT)
Ardus slept soundly like any mortal being would at this time of night. A slight breeze blew through the forest and buffeted the Ent's face to his delight. It was like any other night, it was quiet, the sky was clear and it was peaceful. It was only a couple of minutes maybe even a half an hour into his first night of sleep in days when he felt something climb up into his branches.
It was a usual for small animals to take refuge among Ardus' tree limbs at night. Sometimes to his surprise he would wake to find small black bears sleeping in his canopy. He usually ignored it but on this night he wanted uninterrupted sleep so he shook slightly to see if the animal would go away. His little trick seemed to work as the animal had fallen from his branches and landed on the ground with a thud. But what he found peculiar was that it spoke and he understood what it had said. It was the voice of what seemed a young girl.
Ardus moaned reluctantly to wake up but eventually forced his eyes open. He dark emerald eyes glinted in the moonlight as he looked upon the little girl on the ground by his feet. He cocked his head to the right curiously then began the process of kneeling down to get a closer look. He used his left hand to support his body as he got closer to the forest floor. Ardus brought his face closer to the little girl then with a deep breath he spoke. "What is a little girl like yourself doing in the forest alone and at this hour of night? It is not safe these days with the war going on and I already have trouble keeping the forests safe let alone a little girl." Ardus said with a soft voice yet it still seemed to boom throughout the forest. Then he waited with a long yawn for a reply to his question.
((I assumed that you climbed up into my branches. If that is not the case then I can edit hehe. :xmaslaugh: ))
Star Dust - December 11, 2007 09:43 AM (GMT)
Stella stared at the tree in awe. Had it really just spoke?! Carefully she climbed to her feet, her legs shakeing.
"I... i'm sorry i climbed on you, i just needed a place to sleep.." She muttered, her voice trembling. She indicated to the world behind the forest.
"I no there is a war going on, but at the moment i'm not strong enough to defend myself.." She went on, then she sighed.
"But if its causing you any trouble, i can go elsewhere..." She murmered, beginning to walk away.
(( OOC: Yeah i was climbing in your tree *^_^* Tehe))
Ardus - December 13, 2007 05:36 AM (GMT)
Ardus could hear the fear in her trembling voice. He let out an inaudible sigh of discomfort. He hated it when people feared him when they had just seen him for the first time. Then again it was dark and in a forest which was equally creepy during the night. So then again Ardus figured this moment of fear in the little girl was justified; plus she had said she was looking for a good place to settle down for the night. He continued listening as she spoke about the war and how she could not defend herself very well. Then when she said she would leave him alone he thought otherwise. "Hrm, there is no need to leave. Like you said you cannot defend yourself very well and lets just say there are meaner things in these woods these days then me..." Ardus spoke much softer this time though his voice still held much power.
He stayed kneeling and continued to address the little girl more. "You can stay with me for the night if you wish, though not in my branches..." Ardus gave a booming chuckle for a brief second then continued. "There is a hollowed out tree nearby just big enough for you to stay in. Now onto a question you have yet to answer for me...Why is a little girl like yourself in the Taurai woods at this late hour?" Ardus still speaking in a soft tone questioned the little girl again. His emerald colored eyes looked at her with a sheen of curiosity.
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 13, 2007 05:49 AM (GMT)
Rhoe was walking through the woods that night as well, but it wasn't really because she needed sleep. Rhoe usually slept during the day and wandered at night; she figured that there would be more dangers at night and she would need to be ready to fight them. Sadly, she was usually right. Tonight wasn't particularly dangerous though, she'd only just passed an Ent talking to a little girl who appeared to be a light being. Wait a minute... an Ent? She'd never seen an Ent in person. She wasn't frightened, though, just curious.
"Hello," she called to the Ent, not sure he would answer.
Star Dust - December 13, 2007 07:27 PM (GMT)
She nodded, flushing. Looking at the nearby tree's she accepted his idea. Sleeping in the hollow tree would be great! When he asked the question again Stella looked down at the ground before she answered.
"I don't have a home... i don't have anyone either. I was a star who's time was up. Vaul granted me this shape, and i am what i am now. You have probably noticed the strange glow about me... that is Star dust. My familiar, Azulu, who is a great white dove, also has the glow. She is in this wood some where..." She trailed off when a voice spoke from behind her.
Turning she looked at the new comer.
Ardus - December 15, 2007 05:27 AM (GMT)
As Ardus waited patiently the sound of another being walking nearby caught his attention. He couldn't pin point the beings exact location until it spoke with a soft hello. Ardus looked to where the sound came from. He couldn't make out any detailed descriptions of the being before him. What he could decipher was that it was a woman but what species he hadn't the faintest idea. Before he could greet the newcomer the small being of light answered his question. Judging that the newcomer was not going to harm them he slowly turned his head to address the little girl. "Well, my little friend of the Stars you shall have a home tonight then. I can't promise that it will be the warmest place but, it is shelter none the less..." Ardus said politely to the young girl. He then smiled at her. "I've never met a former Star before..." Ardus spoke the truth he had never truly met a star in human form.
He then looked over at Kallirrhoe who was still standing a bit away from them. "Greetings Traveler, why don't you come closer to I can get a better look at you in the moonlight. My eyesight isn't very good when I am tired." Ardus mumbled politely to Kallirrhoe. Soon after a slight breeze wafted through the forest causing the rustling of many tree canopies including Ardus'. This in turn caused him to shiver slightly as a tingling sensation traveled through his body.
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 15, 2007 05:39 AM (GMT)
"Hello," she said politely as she walked towards the Ent. "My name is Kallirrhoe, but most just call me Rhoe. I'm a Paredhel. I haven't quite decided what half of myself I'm going to follow yet. I'm... well, I don't have a job, per se. I just wander through all the forests to protect them. I saw you, and not that you're dangerous, but I've never seen an Ent. I've heard they existed, especially in Yomeniampa where my Elven mother was from, but they all appear to have left there, although she couldn't tell me why. So I've never seen one until just now." Rhoe was babbling and she knew it, but she was so excited! So Ents really were real, and when she came around to Yomeniampa again she could tell her mother she'd seen one!
She noticed Stella also. "Hello little girl, I guess you are a light being of some sort?"
Star Dust - December 15, 2007 12:31 PM (GMT)
Looking down at her form Stella was puzzled. Was she really that young? Hm mm perhaps i appear so in this form.. she puzzled, but never the less smiled at the two.
"Hello there. Yes i am a fallen star, so to speak..." She turned her head upwards the stars, then looked down at her hand, as the glow she emitted. Memories of her past life flooded back and she felt slight remorse.
She could not go back, her star had died. Vaul had granted her this body, and he wished her to be his Allie. She was grateful for this and she owed him her life. Looking back the the two she remembered something Rhoe had said...
"Ent? Are they really rare.." She admired Ardus closely. Ent... perhaps this could be the only time she would get to see one.
Ardus - December 16, 2007 09:55 PM (GMT)
He listened to Rhoe as she walked closer and explained herself. He nodded at what Rhoe had said, she was right about certain things pertaining to the Ents. "It is good to meet you Rhoe of the Peredhel. Indeed, the great Elven capital no longer requires the Ents to protect the trees there. The Elves have taken up that charge now. Although I doubt they have truly left the area. If we wish not to be seen then we usually aren't noticed since if we don't move we do usually look like a tree..." Ardus said the last part with a smile and a deep chuckle. He then turned his head back to the little girl who spoke about Ents being rare. He nodded slowly to her with a solemn face. "Yes, we are a dwindling species. More and more of us are falling into the deep sleep and becoming stationary sentinels..." Ardus said with a sad voice but then a small smile spread across his mouth. "But, you never know the next time your in a forest you might come across a sleeping Ent like the two of you have tonight." Ardus said with another chuckle.
He then thought for a moment and realized that he had forgotten to introduce himself to his two new friends. "Forgive me for I have forgotten to introduce myself...My name is Ardus member of the mighty Oak clan." He looked to Rhoe for a brief second then back to Stella. "Now I know her name is Rhoe and I know that your familiar's name is Azulu but, what is you name my dear?" Ardus questioned curiously.
Star Dust - December 16, 2007 10:26 PM (GMT)
Stella listened to his story with a sad heart. It was a little like Stella's story. There went many Star/Human hybrids about. The elves.. Stella was yet to meet a full elf, and was quite eager.
Addressing her, Stella smiled brightly. "My is Stella" She said, then sighed. "Or at least it is here. Its a complicated story..." She put her arm behind her head and giggled. Then looked about. It was oddly quiet. Perhaps some one was listening?
"Say Ardus." Why whispered, getting closer to the tree.. "By any chance are there any others living in this wood? Or any other ent's close by?" She was probably being paranoid, but it was better to check either way. She eyes flickered around to the nearby trees shadows suspiciously.
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 17, 2007 12:34 AM (GMT)
"Stella. That's a pretty name. And nice and short too. I still remember how annoyed I used to be that my name is so long. Kallirrhoe! Come in for breakfast! Kallirrhoe! You can't go play until after your chores are done." Rhoe chuckled. "I suppose many girls would envy me my long and feminine name, but when you are a ranger you've usually little time for love. It's easier to be mysterious. This way, no one knows if I am male or female until they lay eyes on me."
Star Dust - December 17, 2007 06:47 PM (GMT)
Stella laughed. She liked this girl already! Still giggling slightly she answered her in truth.
"I have never felt the emotion love. I'm still new so i guess i have a lot to learn. My favorite emotion so far is Happiness. Right now for example! Laughing is so great!!" As if to prove that point she giggle again.
"Ah! Such a wonderful life you all have here! How i did envy you being a star. I love how lovely you all have it." She sighed in content. Indeed Stella did enjoy life her more then anything.
"Say, Rhoe, what are you doing in these parts?" She didn't mean to sound rude but she was just curious, something Stella found herself a lot lately.
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 17, 2007 06:56 PM (GMT)
"I'm a wanderer. I never stay in one place for very long," said Rhoe. "But when I saw an Ent talking to a former star... well...I had to stop. Those are two things I'd never seen before. How long have you been here, Stella? Not terribly long I suspect."
Star Dust - December 17, 2007 07:05 PM (GMT)
Stella listened closely. Was stars becoming human a rare thing? Surely not. She couldn't be the only on in the whole of Arda who happened to be a fallen Star surely..
"No. This is but my 5th day on this earth. The first i was stranded on an island, and i had to face a band of pirates. I ended up meeting Vaul - Guardian of the Stars and then i became an Allie. The 2nd i met a boy who discovered his familiar and met mine. That day i went to the Ancient tower where i met a drow, and we went on a quest. The 4rth i came to these woods, and here i am!" She opened her arms wide then sighed.
"I need purpose. I am not happy to idly sit by and do nothing. I feel like i need a reason you know? Something to do..." She became aware of her sad tone and perked up.
"But i have eternity to do that, since i wont age!" She giggled softly. but was secretly scared. Eternity...
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 17, 2007 07:26 PM (GMT)
"You could learn a skill, like healing or magic. There are teachers in the temples here." Rhoe felt sorry for Stella. It must be a terrible thing not to have a purpose. "Would you like me to accompany you to a temple sometime?" she wanted to know. It would be quite a trek, but for Stella, Rhoe was certain that it would be worth it.
Star Dust - December 17, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
Stella found herself nodding eagerly. Spells... She knew not very many, but found herself interested in the ones she had.
"That would be so great!" Stella gushed, then she glanced around the forest. "Ardus... what do you do around here?" It did not seem to Stella as though much fun could be have just saying in a forest. Looking around she stood atop a tree stump.
"Such beauty this forest holds!" Se declares, looking around. Azulu flew down from a nearby tree and landed on her shoulder, and Stella stroked her affectionately. She loved Azulu more then anything else. She was her other half.
Glancing at the sky Stella sighed. The stars where out, sparkling down on then. Such glamour they hold Stella did miss. Everyone loves the stars. But she doubted every one loved humans.
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 17, 2007 07:47 PM (GMT)
"You get some sleep, then, and I will too, and tomorrow we shall go." Rhoe had been a student in the temples herself, once upon a time, but that was years ago. She was eager to see if they had changed much and if some of her old teachers might still be there. She would feel much more comfortable leaving Stella in the hands of someone she knew she could trust. "Oh, and don't worry. I have excellent combat skills. I shall protect you well."
Star Dust - December 17, 2007 08:09 PM (GMT)
Stella nodded. "Yes, i have a tree i am sleeping night. Night all!" She called, then made her way to the tree Ardus had pointed out
The journey was cold, dark and quite scary. Stella was supposed to be wise! But yet she was so afraid. The shadows where scaring her and she began to run. At last she reached the hollow tree. Climbing in she lay'd with her head poking out, watching the stars twinkle. They where so beautiful, and Stella was still in awe.
She did not need sleep, but Azulu did. She was next to Stella now, and so Stella kept still. She would watch the sun rise, and until then admire the lovely stars. Why waste such a clear night?
Ardus - December 18, 2007 05:16 AM (GMT)
((Arg, I hate being sick. Sorry I didn't get a chance to post earlier...))
When Stella asked if there was anything nearby that could be listening Ardus stood to his full height to look around. He listened to the trees and they showed no signs of nervousness or fright. Stella was right though it was rather quiet not even the usual nocturnal animals seemed to be about. This might have been caused by Ardus himself or some unseen entity that had not shown itself to the small group. Ardus then focused his attention to the two girls as they conversed to each other. He then did what he did best which was listening. When she asked him what there was to do in the forest he drew a blank. What was fun to him would most likely not be very fun for must of the young beings of Arda but, then again Stella was not exactly young as she appeared. Nor was she of this world and before he could actually think of an answer she had gone off to sleep in the hallowed out tree he pointed out to her.
He then looked down at Rhoe and tilted his head. "I think it would be wise for you to go to the hallowed out tree as well to get some sleep. I can go for much longer periods of time without sleep then most of the young creatures of this world...Also I do not doubt your prowess with combat I think that if anything were to bring harm to us it would think twice if I was standing watch..." Ardus said with a smile as he turned motioning her to follow him back to the hallowed out tree.
Star Dust - December 18, 2007 04:33 PM (GMT)
Stella found herself now restless. She was not tired, and the clouds had clocked her view of the stars. Rising slowly and quietly, as not to wake up Azulu, she began to look around. It was darkers then she had thought now the clouds where blocking the moon. Grabbing a large log, and wrapping dried grass around it Stella took a deep breath and held out her finger.
"Spark!" She yelled, as a spark of fire stemmed from her finger, and jumped onto the dry grass, making a torch. That was better. Roaming around she tried to make her way back to where Ardus and Rhoe where. At last she reached there and grinned widely.
"I don't sleep." She commented, planting herself back down on the tree stump,.
Kallirrhoe Aedre - December 18, 2007 06:01 PM (GMT)
"Well I suppose I'd better try to sleep," commented Rhoe. "I usually take the majority of my rest during the daytime because I know that there will likely be more things to fight in the forests at night. But if I'm escorting you," she said to Stella, "then that most certainly won't do. Though gods know that perhaps we might be able to get by on your glow if we did end up having to travel at night."
Star Dust - December 18, 2007 08:48 PM (GMT)
Stella nodded, it seemed a good plan. Her glow could get them by in the dark. But either way, Sella had her wand, if they should ever get in trouble. Nodding in farewell to Rhoe, she gazed up at the patch of stars visible, and spoke to Ardus.
"Lovely night is it not?" Around her was silence, and above her clouded sky except for one patch. She smiled and closed her eyes, listening to the silence, something she enjoyed quite a deal. Nothing ever seemed not fun to Stella, and everything seemed to amaze her.
Hearing a branch snap her head shot up, only to find a deer hiding timidly. Stella smiled at the creature, and it ran away, senescing to danger from them. The creatures on this earth where so wonderful, and Stella believed she would, never could, get enough of the.
Ardus - December 19, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
Ardus stopped when Stella called out with the word "spark". He stopped moving and looked down to see her now holding a torch she had made. It seemed that she was an avid user of magic. When she said she didn't sleep he couldn't help but smile a little. He then looked back to Rhoe and listened as she spoke to Stella. Though what she said was directed at Stella he decided to comment. "You needn't worry about being attacked in these woods. The trees usually know if there is anything of danger before we do and they usually relay that information to me if something should happen. Though when you do decide to leave these woods, pay attention to the trees for if you hear their branches sway in a breeze but can feel no breeze then there is something amiss..." Ardus said as he gave her some helpful information about the trees of this forest. The information would also be good for the other breeds of trees around the globe except for the Trees of the Misty Forest. They tend to be a little more secretive in their motives.
He then looked back to Stella when she mentioned the beauty of the night. He nodded in agreement. "This is what I devote my life to protect day in and day out. I seek to preserve what was made before I was brought into being. Yes, it is quite a beautiful night. One the most lovely nights I have seen in some time..." He looked down to both of his companions then he looked around him for a brief moment. "Have either of you ever seen Lake Aelin? Now that place has a lovely view during the day and at night." Ardus spoke softly to the to ladies.
Star Dust - December 20, 2007 05:37 PM (GMT)
Stella nodded slightly ecstatic. "Yes !! I've seen Lake Lake Aelin, i loved it there!" She gushed, then sighed happily. She turned to Ardus and smiled brightly.
"Have you been? Its lovely is it not? How about Alulanta Falls? Have you been there? That's a VERY nice place!" She announced then sighed. "I'd love to see all the places in Arda. Do everything." She went on. She spoke to Ardus.
"How are your kind made? I'm really curious... and how do you spawn?" She wasn't sure of the right word to use.
Ardus - December 21, 2007 03:50 AM (GMT)
Ardus smiled happily has he had been to lake Aelin and nodded to her question. "Indeed I have been there, and the water is wonderfully refreshing. And the trees there are very kind..." Ardus smile as he remembered back to when he was there. Then when she asked about the Alulanta Falls he frowned slightly and shook his head. "I have not been back there for five hundred years. In fact my next stop during my journey will be to go there and visit the trees and bask under the waterfalls there." Ardus said as he began to smile once more he then nodded in agreement to what she said about seeing everything around Arda. "I hope you get that chance my not so very young friend." Ardus commented about her statement.
He then looked at her curiously as she asked about how his people were made. He then smiled broadly. "Well, most of the Ents, and Ent Wives you will see will have been created when the Goddess of Nature Liara birthed life into us when we were just lonely trees...You mean how do we mate? Well usually I would go and seek out an Ent Wife. They are the female of our kind and they are extremely rare these days. There aren't many Ents around that have been birthed by conception between an Ent and an Ent Wife..." Ardus sounded quite sad as he spoke of the rarity of the Ent Wives. It would be almost impossible for him to find a life's mate. He then shook those thoughts from his mind and smiled once more. "Although, I have many children around the whole of Arda. Since every fall, acorns begin to grow in my branches and then periodically fall to the ground and if they are not taken by squirrels then they will grow into mighty oaks. But they will never become Ents unless the God of Nature, and the Goddess of life birth life into them. In fact some of the young oak trees in this forest came from an acorn that grew amongst my branches." Ardus smiled and breathed in deeply after giving the explanation to Stella's question.
Star Dust - December 21, 2007 06:55 PM (GMT)
Stella smiled sadly at the Ent. "I think its lovely, that you are able to help the forest..." She sighed. "I will always remain this form, this young form." She looked at the ground, then reached down to pick up a acorn.
She twirled it around in her fingers, then knelt down, pushing the soft earth away from the ground, making a slight hole. She placed the acorn carefully in, then pushed the earth over the top of it.
She raised, smiling and she dusted off her hands. "I love nature." She commented, staring down at her mound. A little bit of her dust had been left on the mound, and so it began to shoot straight away, at abnormal speeds.
She watched the miracle, thoughtful.
The Desert Elf - January 10, 2008 06:50 AM (GMT)
Akjaba walked through the woods, bearing no cloak or mask on this day. He wore
only his Ranger attire and leather boots, keeping his face open to the wonderful
breeze with flowed throughout the forest. Akjaba had his hand on his sheathe,
just to keep himself ready from what he thought lay ahead in these woods, his other hand rubbing on his hip, after bumping it on a barrel. Akjaba wasn't fussy
over the bump but it sure did hurt. He continued on through the forest looking
for a place of tranquility for a night or two, being a traveller he wanted to see
the sights, rather not stay long and not acknowledge the lovely surroundings.
His ranger side kept him intact with the surroundings, he could track out any
wild animals which passed this way, rather then them track him. A gentle blow
of wind hit his right side, a wonderful feeling overcoming him. Akjaba continued on
the small trail, looking out for anything or anyone which could pose a threat, even
for one such as himself.
Akjaba continued to tred through the harsh mud and the cold winds which were
now blowing heavily on his left, nearly knocking him off his feet. Through the mud and wind, Akjaba kept on moving, determined to find a camping spot for the night.
Mud now ran up his ankles, sliding down into his boots an making him shiver. He
found a clear open space and was nearly done setting up his tent when two arrows
flew down near his right foot.
"Whats this?" he said to himself in a low voice.
"Hahaha, leave now you foolish elf, or be the end of you" a voice threatened from
the shadows.
"No, i will not leave and this is my camp! you shall be the one leaving, whoever
you are" Akjaba replied.
"Very well then, the hard way" the voice replied.
Suddenly, 2 arrows rushed down at Akjaba, barely missing his head.
"Fine then, last warning"
Akjaba stood defiant and drew his sword from the sheathe. The voice let off a small
chuckle, and a figure appeared from the shadows. It looked to Akjaba that it was
a Drow or a creature of some sort. The creature was wielding a bow and what seemed to be alot of arrows in his back-quiver. Drawing another two arrows,
the Creature took aim at Akjaba, but he was too fast for the arrows, dodging them
with time to spare before the creature could fire again. Suddenly, a blast of fire rained down upon the beast, burning it to death. Akjaba looked in awe as the fire
stopped, the creature lying dead before him.
"Hi, i've never seen a fullbred elf before" said a small girlish voice from behind a tree.
*Star Dust, if you still roleplay on these forums, please reply*
Xiaou - January 10, 2008 12:08 PM (GMT)
Xiaou trudged through the mud, making sure not to step on anything gross. She let her wings lift her just above the ground, no further otherwise she'd have no power to fly back home. She utilised her Druidic powers and created a long path made from roots, so that she could walk along without stepping in large puddles
of filfthy mud. "Oh my, it seems someones got lost" she said as she started to race further down her path of vines. Suddenly she saw a small girl which also looked like an Angel sitting there, watching a small plant grow.
Curious, she asked "What are you doing? The girl just looked back at her and smiled.
Star Dust - January 10, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
OOC: I'm soooo sorry i didn't reply, but I'd be happy to rp with you :D !!, and I'm guessing the voice at the end was me? Because I'm replying from that :)
IC: A female approached Stella, her wings wide an magnificent. She watched in awe at the girl approached. "What are you doing?" She asked, and Stella rose to her feet, smiling greatly. "I'm creating my own life it seems." She answered, her voice withdrawn some what with the sight she had just seen. Such beauty... never before had she though she had seen such a thing. This was truly a day among days.
Stella turned her head as she heard a strange sound. Whistling? Could be the wind.. she shook her head thoughtfully, ignoring the multiple sounds. But then... voices? She frowned a little, then smiled apologetically at her companions. "Excuse me for a minute..." She mumbled, then began to walk into the tree's, into the darkness.
The ground was soft, springy from the moss, and kept her footsteps light and unheard. The tree's where hard to see in the darkness, only Stella's glow keeping her from colliding with the acts of nature. In some degree, the journey was peaceful, serene and quite, the only sound from the rustling of leaves, an odd thing. An elf stood in a small clearing, looking down on the ground where a body laid. Probably a mugger who had got his deserts, Stella thought, but still slightly conscious of the fact that this man before her had drawn blood. Always something to be careful about.
"Hi, I've never seen a fullbred elf before" She spoke, her voice soft, alluring though she never intended it to be. Her glow was magnificent in the dark, sparkling and golden, like a beacon of light. Her hair too glowed, a shimmery silver blond in color, a contract to her sapphire blue eyes, wide and watching.
"What happened there?" She asked, pointing at the ground where the body lay, silent like the night sky above, the star's shining down, watching... judging. Such a thing Stella knew they had a tendency to do at times, damn them all.

"He attacked me, there was nothing i could do and the next moment *Making gestures with his hands* wooosh and down came a rain of fire. Although
the blood shouldn't of been shed. the fire looked magnificent" Akjaba replied to the small girl just behind him. "I.. I didnt wan't to kill him, i was setting up my camp when i was nearly hit by arrows, gaaargh dam this bloodshed!" Akjaba roared, frightening the girl. "im sorry, who
are you? Whats your name?" as mad as he was Akjaba couldn't describe
this girls beauty. "My name is.."
* we continue it with like something terrible happens *
Xiaou - January 10, 2008 10:01 PM (GMT)
Xiaou sat there, calm and yet very cold as the shivers of the night started to
come to her. Xiaou was, well, afraid of wolves and their sharp claws and large
fangs taunted her in her sleep. The other girl had left her all alone, and now she
was started to get really scared. Suddenly, a gush of wind hit her right side, blowing her off her feet.
"Damn you wind, you're just trying to hurt me arent you!"
she said as she pushed her hands off the thick mud and raised herself back to
her feet. She was very lonely now, the sound of the girl's voice wasn't to be heard from where she was. So Xiaou raised herself up, spread her wings and started to
fly towards the way that she had saw the young girl go, hoping to find her and
ask her her name. As she flew, the grass swayed gently, almost dancing to the
tune in which the wind made. Kind of like an Orchestra, Xiaou thought.
