Title: The book of the stars
Description: OTA. 100 words minimun.
Star Dust - December 9, 2007 11:36 PM (GMT)
Stella sank into the darkest corner she could and look out her book. It was no ordinary book, and there where only a few others in existence, each of which she owned.
The books where small, pocket sized, until the small plasticine seal was pressed, activating the books. The owner of the book was the only person who could activate the seal, making the book unable to be read by anyone but the owner. In a blinding flash of light it would open, and grow into a large hardback book. Knowledge about the whole of Arda could be found, and treasures of the Stars revealed.
Of course, Stella did not grant access to these impressive books to just anybody. She would only grant one to her closet allies. The books where created by her brother and sister stars, who had spent millions of years watching the earth. When a treasure is discovered and removed, its information is strikes out from the book.
Now human, Stella found true need for them, to hunt the treasures hidden in time. Pressing the seal, her finger print was recognized, and the book opened with a great flash of light. When Stella could once again see, she found the book in its full size.
Smiling, she got herself comfy, and flipped through, looking for a great topic. At last she found one, and began to read the text in awe and excitement.
The Ancient Tower
The ancient tower, a large and powerful tower. Not much is known about the tower, to the people of Arda it is but a Large, mysterious tower. When Lord Thingol was alive, he had in fact taken a liking to the Ancient tower, bestowing the directions to how to get to his greatest treasure upon it.
The knowledge had been thoroughly hidden in an ancient invisible script upon the wall of the tower. This brick is protected by a magical shield, and so can not be detected. The brick has invisible writing with the instructions on how to enter Lord Thingols safe, which is also heavily magically protected.
The safe is thought to contain untold wonders, rumored to be a valuable necklace which grants the ability to become a cestral being.
There are many hidden rooms in the Ancient Tower, said to contain many treasures of Lord Thingold, such as blessed armour and magical items. Most of these chambers have been discovered and ransacked, but many are still available.Stella scratched her head impatiently. So... it could make her become a cestral being? She was already a cestral being! What good would that do her? And magic armour and items? She did not really nearly need these. Sighing, she turned the page, and read it with anew excitement.
Yomenïampa
Yomenïampa is home to the High Elves. These proud being have hidden many items of value in these tree top kingdom. Among the items is a great gem which grants a being immortality when eaten.
The gem is currently residing in the skeleton of old Even King Ísolopé, who removed the gem after having his sons promise to hide it in his body when he had died. The Gem is still there, in his stomach in the tomb of the Kings. It is highly guarded and is inpetitable to all who mean harm.Again Stella found herself turning the page. She wasn't in the mood for angering the elves. There where plenty of other treasures.
Sanctuary Of The Angels
The Sanctuary of the Angels is home to one of the beautifullest treasures. The Pink Doll. This doll is small like very other doll, but can come to life at the master will. The doll when come to life will obey her master, and can lure men to do her bidding. The doll is thought to be just a legend, but can be found under a cobblestone, hidden by magic and can be seen by those who can read invisible magic text.
Picture of Doll when Life size:
Stella jumped up. This was it! Her chance to gain another treasure. Closing her book, and letting it shrink, she returned it to her pocket. All she needed now was a guide to the Sanctuary of the Angels...

"Are you my Mommy?"
Coming from just about anyone else this question would have been accompanied by a smirk or the voice of a child. Coming from Robyn... it was horrifying in its innocent seriousness. She was at a nearby bookcase, her chin nestled on top of it as if it were the most comfortable of cushions and giving the other female what appeared to be her most rapt and undivided attention. She didn't seem to mind that her gray, pallid skin seemed to be frozen in some places and scratched everywhere... scratches that oozed pinkish and blackish foam.
She didn't blink either.
And she certainly wasn't dressed for the weather. Curiously enough, she didn't smell. If not for the cuts she might have been mistaken for an orphan girl, who had come into the library for warmth and shelter and maybe library book paste. Not that one knew how that was possible- orphan girls and boys weren't usually let into the library unattended. They had this bad habit of making a mess of things and stealing everything that wasn't securely bolted to the floor. And she was rather tall for a mere girl- woman might have been closer to the mark. Deranged madwoman even closer. Still, she was dreadfully thin. And pale. And disturbing.
And she looked young . Young enough to still be un-married and frolicking about if there was no one to attend to her. All things considered she might actually be a noble brat, one of the hideous progenies that were created by many, many generations of inbreeding and lack of proper dietary supplements and exercise.
Or maybe not.
"Are you my Mommy?" The necropolitan repeated, still staring at Stella, her crystal blue eyes unblinking.
Star Dust - December 10, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
Stella blinked at the girls question, then looked around her. Was she talking to Stella? The girl kept on looking at her.
"Um... no, I'm not you mummy... this form is but 15." She answered. Anyone else would probably find this girls form disturbing, but Stella did not see anything wrong in it.
Stella herself appeared as a girl about 15. Her hair was the lightest blond, almost white and her skin pale. Her eyes a brilliant blue they seemed to sparkle. She wore a lovely silk blue dress, and a silk ribbon in her hair. Stella also seemed to emit a slight glow, excess luminous plasma from her days being a star.
Not being from Earth Stella did not no of the term "Pretty". To her, EVERYONE was pretty, and all the life forms on earth where interesting. Turning to the girl she spoke calmly.
"My name is Stella, what are you called?" She asked, placing her book in her cloak, as if to hide it. Stella wasn't too eager as to share the book of yet, and so wanted to keep the fact that she owned it secret.
Many thief's would pay anything for such a book, holding the secrets of hidden treasures, but Stella was stern on who got possession of her spare books. If they got into the wrong hands, who knows what could happen! Treasure such as that of immortality could be granted to evil being such as this "Raku" she had heard so much about.

Robyn pouted. Being undead didn't mean she didn't have emotions. In fact, if one were to do a proper analysis one might conclude she had an excess of emotions- as well as a bizarre tendency not to rot. Her bottom lip trembled and her unblinking stare wavered as liquid pooled into the orbs that were her eyes.
"You... you're not my mommy?"
Thought struck her brain like lightning strikes and leaving just as much damage. How could this be? Momma and Poppa bear had told her, they had promised her that her mommy (her real mommy) would be here! They had promised! And they had said that she would look very close to what Robyn-rin looked like. And no matter how much she wandered about the library this was the only other person with eyes just the right shade of blue and hair just the right shade of yellowy-blondy-something-or-another.
They had promised!
And on top of that, they had said Mommy would be dressed in blue! Not-Mommy was dressed in blue. Just like Momma and Poppa had said she would be! Could Momma Bear have been lying? Poppa Bear lied allll the time but Momma bear never. She shook her head. Mommy wouldn't lie to her either though- she had read about Mommies and Daddies and Mommies _never_ lied. It was written. In a big book. With dragons and monsters and step-mothers and glass slippers and... and...
Robyn burst into tears.
"I'm... I'm..." she blew her nose on the hem of her dress, and sniffed. She was still crying. "I'm Robyn. And you're... you're... Not-Mommy. You're... Stella."
She looked at Stella hopefully.
"Do you know where my Mommy is?"
Star Dust - December 10, 2007 07:13 PM (GMT)
Stella was alarmed as the girl began to cry. She reached into her pockets to find a tissue, and begn to dab the girls face.
"There there Robyn. I'm afraid i dont no where you mummy is... but i could help you find her? Do you no what she looked like?" Stella asked, looking around the libary. Surely her mother would be around her somwhere?
Standing up she looked around the libary... Silence. The libary was empty exept a elf and a creature with a raised hood. Where was the girls mother? And where could she find a guide to the Sanctuary of the Angels?
Stella could do with that doll, wit would aid her in the battle she had recently become a part of, a battle on the moon. Stella had yet to purchase weapons, and this doll could be a great useage to her.
Stareing at the girl Stella found herself warming up to her. Bless her.
Undead - December 12, 2007 01:15 PM (GMT)
Robyn sniffed as Stella lightly graced her cheeks with the handkerchief. She was almost as sad as learning that Stella was a not-mommy when the mentioned piece of fabric departed, off to be secreted back into whatever fold, or crevice or pocket it had come from. It smelled good. It had Stella-scent on it- a comforting, comfortable, comforting scent. A com-com-com scent. A triple C scent.
Wait, vut?
Aaaanyways, this not-mommy had said that she would help Robyn find Robyn's real-mommy which meant not-mommy was a friend-friend of Robyn and real-Mommy. On the spot, just because, Robyn promoted Stella from not-mommy to bestest, bestest library friend-friend-friend. Not many got the third friend in their title, oh no, the third friend was reserved for those who did things of greeeeaaaaaat importance and were (almost) as important as Momma Bear and Poppa Bear. And maybe Mr. Beeble.
She giggled. Mr. Beeble was a Phunny.
"My Mommy looks like me but not me," she said unhelpfully once she got her whirling (ooo. Such a pwetty word) under control. She thought for a moment, dredging up old memories of yesteryear... or yesterday. Or maybe today. Time was _such_ a comp-li-ca-cated phenomenomenon. (Phenomenone?) "She has long blond hair and smells like grapefruit and is tall but not too tall and wears blue and has eyes like yours and smells like grapefruit and and and..."
She started to get sad again. "And... and she's supposed to be in this library! Momma Bear said she'd be in the library! Reading a book!"
"And," she started to whisper, because this was a very, very, VERY, important secret. "Momma Bear says that she needs helpy helpfuls! Mommy's in Biiiiig trouble!" The little tall necropolitan started to get really, weally sad. "Mommy's on a quest! And I'm supposed to help Mommy! Maybe I missed Mommy? Maybe Mommy already left? Now she'll have to go jump over the moon all alone!"
For the second time that day, Robyn burst into tears.
Star Dust - December 13, 2007 07:36 PM (GMT)
Stella looked around, wide eyed. People where staring... Looking at the girl she once again began to mop up her tears.
"There there... now, if your mummy has left, do you no where she might have gone? Where we can find her..." she asked, wondering what she should do. Never before had she been in such a situation, and she was lost at what to do. Should she hand the girl over to the police?
No... that would be cruel, and Stella would NEVER do such a thing. She supposed she could help the girl, she didn't NEED to go after the book right away, she had all the time she needed - she would never die after all!
Taking the girls hand she smiled encouraging.
Undead - December 16, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
Robyn sniffed. Her new friend-friend-friend was so nice. Which would probably explain why she was a friend-friend-friend and not just a friend-friend. Ignoring the roaming handkerchief (it was starting to smell icky because Robyn-rin's tears smelled icky. To Robyn-rin at least) she started thinking. Thinking reeeeeealy hard because her double F friend was trying to help her and as Momma Bear always said, help came to those who helped themselves.
Momma Bear was a crazy one. But a good crazy. Robyn liked Momma-Bear-type-crazy.
"Robyn-rin ish thinking... thinking..." Robyn opened her eyes. She had scrunched them so tightly stars were jumping out at her. Weird. To say the least.
She saw something then. Something she hadn't seen before. Or at least she didn't think she had seen it before. Sometimes, because every once in a while she took a look with a mirror or with her eyeballs, she couldn't even recognize the back of her head! There was lots Robyn had forgotten from her nappy inside the big box in the ground and Robyn was never too sure what she did know and what she didn't. Once she had repaired a friend-friend who didn't want to play with Momma and Poppa in the ground and even if he had made bubbles all around his mouth and had a new arm and leg he made red-red water and not black-black water which meant that she had played doctor really, really, reaaaaally well.
Friend-friend didn't like it though. He had called Robyn lots of bad words. Robyn had been very sad. Still she had been very sur-prised that he had bled red-red water. She knew things she should have known that she knew but didn't.. It was all very confusing and exciting at the end of the day.
It was about then that Robyn realized she had completely forgotten what she was going to have to say to her new friend-friend-friend and scrunched her eyes together (tightly!) and saw the purdy stars.
"I think... I think Mommy is near... water. Near falling water. Lots of falling water." She nodded her head. "Robyn-rin thinks that Robyn-rin's Mommy is near water!"
Star Dust - December 17, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
A place name instantly to Stella's mind. Alulanta Falls. Humming, Stella scanned the shelf close to her, looking for a book she had recently just brought back. "Arda Locations." At last she found it, and she read the description out clearly for the girl;
"Alulanta Falls
This region is filled with waterfall after waterfall, and abundant with plants and mosses. The lands are rocky and broken, but no longer jagged for the rushing waters have smoothed and rounded the lands. The waters seem to whisper tales of old, and eventually flow into one large, clear pool."
She closed the book with a snap. "Is that the place?" She asked. Stella was quite sure of it. It just had to be this place. Where else did water fall? Putting the book back carefully Stella gave the girl time to think, watching the people in the library closely, in case a woman with blond hair and blue eyes appeared.
Undead - December 20, 2007 01:02 PM (GMT)
Robyn knew she was not a stoopid girl (Momma Bear said she wasn't all there sometimes and Poppa said she was a handful of downy fluff on a good day) but she knew she wasn't stoopid. Stoopid people did stoopid things. Like die. And stuff. And that's why they were stoopid. Robyn-rin could read, and count by twos and tie her shoes (Errr, well, she was pretty sure she could. It didn't look all that difficult)... but what Stella-Friend-Friend had just said was really confuzzling. Robyn-rin tried not to get lost but after the word 'abundant' she just sorta... kinda... got confuzzled.
"Ab-un-dant? Moh-sses? Jag-ged?" She repeated quietly after Stella said each word. The Chef quietly yawned and opened an eye. Only one though, he seemed to like having only one eye open at a time these days. Sharp incisors were revealed as he opened his mouth.
"Abundant denotes lots and lots, 'Mosses' are little green plants that grow where there's little light but lots and lots (or abundant!) moisture and jagged means uneven and sharp. Like the rocks in Dori'ba."
"Thank you Mr. Chef-Chef!" She told her favoritest pie-maker.
"No problem. Now lemme go back to sleep."
He went back to sleep and disappeared from Robyn's sight. Robyn was pretty sure that Stella-Friend-Friend had not seen The Chef, because she had been reading. If she *had* seen the chef she would have surely thanked him for his help too, but as she hadn't it must have been that she had missed him. In that regard, The Chef was like a ninja! Lightening quick and ever so Santa-like.
Santa was a ninja, oh yes he was.
"...The waters seem to whisper tales of old, and eventually flow into one large, clear pool."
The big, purdy book book closed with a snap.
""Is that the place?"
"I... I think so." Robyn furrowed her brow, now that she thought of it- she did know where it was! But she didn't want to leave her new friend-friend here all alone in this big, musty, dusty building!
"Will Stella-Friend-Friend come with me?"
Star Dust - December 20, 2007 05:53 PM (GMT)
Stella smiled at the girl and put both of her hands on her shoulders. "Of course i will!" She went on, then looked around. "There some one id like you to meet Robyn." She lead the girl out of the library, and she raised her fingers too her lips.
She whistled loudly, the sounds seeming to echo from each building. The minutes passed, and Stella still stared at the sky. Suddenly, a great white dove broke through the clouds heading towards them. The crowds in the streets ducked, but Stella stood tall.
The dove flew down and landed on her shoulder, and Stella stroked her head affectionately. She turned to Robyn.
"Robyn, this is my familiar, Azulu." She announced.
Undead - December 22, 2007 01:40 PM (GMT)
Robyn watched as the world slowly passed her by. She was walking... forwards. Wait, she wasn't walking! Someone was walking for her! It was the weirdest feeling... like she was moving and yet not moving at the same time. Then she realized that her new friend-friend-friend was actually pushing her forwards past the musty, stale tomes of knowledge, past the roving furniture that she was pretty sure was out to eat her soul (thank ze gods she didn't have to stay here for too much longer!) past the friend-friends-friends that were having their souls ripped out by the said furniture, past the biiiiig doors that the library had and a rather startled desk clerk type person who was busy looking at the two of them (well looking at Robyn more than her friend-friend-friend) and then looking at the doors and sighing with what seemed to be abject relief.
Oh. That was interesting. The doors boomed open behind them as they marched forwards down the steps, down the... well, down more steps and then finally stopping once they got to the town center which just happened to be really close to the library. There also happened to be really big clearing. There also happened to be lots of people around and many were staring curiously at the mismatched duo... both young enough to be friends but different like light was from water and earth was from air.
“There's someone I'd like you to meet Robyn,” Stella-Friend said. And then she did something with her mouth that Robyn couldn't quite understand. Had she said something? Blown her nose? But since she was waiting expectantly... Robyn waited expectantly. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited.
And then she waited some more.
Did Stella-Friend have her friend-friend ditch her?
Then Stella Friend-Friend showed up and Robyn's jaw went wiiiiide open. She stared. And then she stared some more.
“Robyn, this is my familiar Azulu.”
Robyn was looking for words but couldn't find them.
“R-gr-mufurgle-gurgle...” She coughed, straightened herself out. “Nice to meetcha Azulu!” She said, grinning.
Star Dust - December 22, 2007 01:50 PM (GMT)
Stella smiled at the girls reply. She whispered something in Azulu's ear and obediently she hopped onto Robyn's shoulder. "You can stroke her." Sella commented.
She turned away from them and looked around, scouting the area for a sign of a women with blond hair. No body. She sighed then turned back to Robyn. "Shall we start out travels?" She asked. They would have to set off soon. It was already late, and she wanted to make sure that they didn't end up walking in the dark. She was scared of putting Robyn in danger.
Stella began to walk, and she looked behind her shoulder, making sure Robyn was following. She felt the silence needed something, anything. Small talk was always the answer.
"Sooo Robyn. Tell me alittle about yourself." Stella asked. She was curious, how a girl became on her own. But yet Stella hoped it wouldn't upset her, perhaps re-telling stories that hurt. She's had that happened before, and Stella did not want to upset her.
The streets where busy, and she had the dodge the crowd. Shady men watched them, but Stella looked them straight in the eye. She wasn't in the mood for any games, or for a battle. They had some where to be in a certain amount of time. Darkness was already creeping.
Undead - December 22, 2007 02:05 PM (GMT)
Stroke? Robyn did not know such a word! What could such a word ever mean? Stroke? It seemed like such a pwetty word... like a word one used to describe the feeling of hair through one's fingers, or the skritchety scratchety of wolverine fur on one's hands... or just ruffling the fur of a dog's neck or even...
The Chef yawned. "It just means 'a light touch,' Robyn. So you're right and wrong at the same time. Now stop thinking so hard."
Robyn thanked The Chef like she always did and lightly touched her new friend-friend-friend's friend Azulu. It was a very enjoyable act. The feathers were so soft and downy and fluttery and soft and downy and-
"Shall we start out travels?"
“Yes Stella-Friend-friend, Robyn-rin thinks we should. Robyn-rin hasn't had much to eat today and Robyn-rin wants to find Robyn-Mommy as fast as possible! All mommies have food-foods and treatsies!” Robyn-rin said after some thought for each sentence.
Then Stella Friend-friend, as they walked, asked her to talk about herself. Robyn-rin felt so pleased- no One had -ever- asked her to talk about herself before. It was... it was unprecedented. Like an unprecedentation-ation act. She squealed.
“Robyn-rin is Tall Little Girl whose Poppa Bear and Momma Bear are the nicest Poppa and Momma Bear a daughter dearest could ever want!” She started, going to the basics and the very Important Lessons. “Poppa Bear and Momma Bear sleep lots and lots though,” she said mournfully. “And the Thinking Cap isn't so nice-nice as TC once was. But we always have Ze Chef! Who is a nice Chef-Chef.” She nodded.
“How about you, Stella-Friend-Friend? How are you a starry-star that came to the earthy-earth dirt?”
Star Dust - December 22, 2007 04:13 PM (GMT)
Stella laughed. It was such a long story she didn't want to bore Robyn. She was only young it seemed, and she didn't want to confuse her either.
"My star died, so Vaul granted me a human form!" She replied, smiling. Robyn seemed to really like Azulu, and in truth the dove seemed to love her back. The sight was lovely.
"Tell me Robyn, how did you loose your mummy?" She asked. It was unusual for the mother to just simply leave, and Stella had a feeling there must be more to it then that. Perhaps the mother had business at the falls?
Stella glanced up at the sky critically. It was getting dark WAYY to fast. They may have to travel in the dark. "Are you hungry Robyn? Here..." She offered Robyn one of her chocolates. It wasn't much, but that's all she had. The chocolates where given to her from a man she did not really like anymore, for his pestering and teasing.
She would not miss the chocolates, and little girls - she was told - simply LOVED chocolates. Stella hoped this was the case. She held the bar out for her. "Here, take it." She offered in kindness.
Undead - December 22, 2007 04:38 PM (GMT)
"Robyn-rin didn't even know she had a Robyn-Mommy." Robyn said shyly as she accepted the chocolate. She didn't know what chocolate was, but since Stella-Friend-Friend had given it to her it must be something really, really, reaaaally good. Or so she hoped. Sometimes friend-friends gave her things and they made her sick and burned a hole right through her tummy and out of her tummy. That was difficult to repair. She had to find a tummy that was compa-t-ible and that was vereh, vereh difficult indeed.

"Her star died?! Let me out, I must confirm-"
"Oh be quiet TC. You can influence some questions out of her later. She's having fun for once and *not* feeding. Let her be." Momma Bear said grumpily.
"But... but the opportunities! My knowledge is her knowledge and she will no doubt need it! She is a chosen one!"
The Chef snarled. "There is no such thing as destiny!"
"Boys... boys... be quiet."
"Bu-"
"QUIET!"
V.V.V.V.V
One bite and she was in yummy yummy yummylicious land. Yummyliciousness-ess-ess-ess land. It was like... it was like a paradise come to her mouth. She was happier than she could ever tell tell her friend-friend-friend... she was so happy she could be considered happylicious!
"You're the bestest, bestest, bestest, Beeeeeeeestest friend-friend-friend-FRIEND ever!" Robyn told Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend honestly.
Star Dust - December 22, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
Stella laughed at her. "I'm glad you like it!" She said. "I have two more..." She said teasingly, showing the girl. "But FIRST!! We have to hurry up and make our way to the falls!" Stella began to pick up the pace, now almost jogging - not a fast walk, even FASTER!
She rushed right past people, and at last made it to the city gates. The vast fields an valleys of Arda where on show, and Stella took in a deep breathe. It was now dark, and so Stella took out her want. "LUMINATE!" She called, and a light appeared on the end of her wand. She held it in front of her.
"Robyn, stay close to me okay?" She asked. It would not do if one of them should get lost. Stella's glow was bright, and no doubt ANYONE could see her coming. She was like a walking torch, which came in useful on nights such as these. The walked the path out of the city, towards the great plains of Arda. Stella murmured a silent prayer.
"Oh Guardian of the Stars! Let us reach out destination safely!" She preyed, still trudging on. They needed to hurry, otherwise the monsters and demons Stella had heard about would come out. They had little time.
Undead - December 23, 2007 01:31 AM (GMT)
Stella laughed. Her laughter tinkled... like beautiful bells. Robyn thought it to be the most joyous sound she had ever heard it... made her lighter. She felt lighter. She felt magnificent, like she could do anything- be anything just by hearing that laughter. She hoped that Stella would never loose that particular tone, that particular expression. Robyn almost felt like falling asleep on Stella's shoulder but she didn't! She had to find real mommy! Slapping her cheeks a few times Robyn-rin gamely moved forwards, matching every step that Stella Friend-Friend made with one of her own. She had to keep up, she just had to. If someone as nice as a quadrulple F was going to help her find her Mommy she wasn't going to slow her down!
Not if she could help it! With a grin and a moan she trudged forwards, forcing herself ever so gallantly to move despite the pleasant endorphins that were being released because of the chocolate and the luffly, luffly taste that the chocolate had. It was... it was incredible. Incwedible!
She was surprised when Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend managed to make her wand all glowsy and oo'd at it appreciatively. It wasn't every day that someone made a stick go 'shoom' and 'zoom' and brighten up the entire world. It must be part of Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend's star magic.
"Oh Guardian of the Stars! Let us reach out destination safely!" Stella shouted. Whether it was a prayer or a shout or just a... weird thing that Stella-Friend-friend-friend liked to say ('Custom' murmured a sleepy Chef) Robyn couldn't tell and thought it wouldn't be rude to ask:
"Is Guardian of the Stars Mr. Vaul-Vaul that Stella-Friend was talking about?"
Star Dust - December 23, 2007 02:39 PM (GMT)
Stella nodded, then turned her head to look at Robyn. "Yes, he's a good man, he's the one who let me come here." She said, then glanced up at the stars. It was incredibly dark now, and the full moon was casting them all in a spotlight. She sighed and looked away, straight ahead.
"We should set up camp Robyn, it's too dark to go on, and i don't no about you but im tired." She went on, then yawned. Moving to a nearby tree, Stella gathered some sticks and placed them on a fire. "SPARK" She called, and a little fire fell from her wand. Soon a nice, warm crackling fire had been started, and Stella sat down next to it, letting the warmth flood over her. She smiled in appreciation of it.
Stella herself did not need to sleep, and so she just layed down, staring at the stars. The night was clear tonight. Azulu flew overhead in the skies, looking for her super. Nixi was still in her egg, not quite ready to hatch. Stella patted the egg in affection.
She hoped it would hatch soon.
Undead - January 1, 2008 03:26 PM (GMT)
Robyn listened to Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend's explanation, furrowing her brow as she tried to store this important little tidbit of information. Vaul was a 'good man.' What was a good man? A man that was good? A good that was a man? What was a good anyways? The chef, curiously enough, stayed silent. Robyn glared at him but his mouth seemed firmly shut and his eyes were droopy. Why was he so sleepy these days? He was a furry friend-friend! Furry friend-friends didn't need sleep! Sleep was for the weak! Alice-Mommy said so so it must be true-true!
"We should set up camp Robyn, it's too dark to go on, and i don't no about you but im tired."
Tired? Robyn flexed her arms a bit and then tapped both of her bare feetsies on the ground. Nope, Robyn-rin didn't feel tired. If anything, Robyn-rin felt even more excited and happeh than ever before! Robyn-rin felt like she could move faster than the wind and ka-pow! and ka-foom! better than ever before! She even felt a teensy, weensy bit hungry which meant that Robyn-rin should probably go find something that tasted just as good as chocolate but not quite chocolate since chocolate was for vereh, vereh special occasions.
Robyn-rin considered Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend for just one second but that train of thought was (thankfully!) dispersed by a rather large shiny thing that went 'poofah!' and made a fire. Robyn-rin almost jumped into eet because it looked so cool and inviting and inviting and cool. Luckily, Momma Bear awoke and pinched her ear.
"None of that young lady!" Momma Bear growled. Robyn-rin whimpered and obeyed.
Watching the flames, Robyn-rin noticed the curious egg that Stella-friend-friend-friend was patting so affectionately and sneakily (for she was a sneaky, sneaky (and stealthy!) spy thing) moved towards it and looked at it in curiosity.
"What is that? Is it food?" She asked toothily.
Star Dust - January 3, 2008 03:23 PM (GMT)
"What is that? Is it food?" Robyn asked, staring at the egg. Stella laughed. "heh noo Robyn!! This is a egg, but, not an egg you eat!" She smiled at her . "it has a bird like Azulu in it!" She put the egg in her pocket and sighed.
"I don't sleep Robyn, so you sleep?" Stella may be slightly new to Arda but even she was aware that Robyn was special. She reached into her pocket, taking out a bar of chocolate and offered her it. Stella had LOADS of chocolate! And.. She reached into her pocket, producing a Candy cane. "How about one of these?" She asked, grinning.
"Then after we could walk? Only if your not tired" She gazed at the full moon, then admired the stars. They where soo bright. She took out a candy cane her self and licked it. It tasted... nice! She nibbled it thoughtfully. She wondered where Robyn’s mum could be, and hoped that she wasn't hurt or anything. Taking in a deep breathe she took out her book, and began to browse through it. Perhaps there was something that could help her find it...? No... there was just treasures. She placed the book back in her pocket and scowled at it. Treasures... did she really need them? All they caused where hatred to others.
She rose to her feet. "Rinny you ready to go?" She asked, then smiled. She liked her new nickname for Robyn, she thought it was cute, and it made her giggle a little. It was a nice nickname, and she thought it suited her well.

"Awwww, that's not fair!" Robyn said, crossing her thin arms over her chest. "Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend has allllllll these flying friend-friends and Robyn-rin doesn't have *any*! Robyn-rin only has Meester Fluffington and Meester Fluffington is a poppy-pants!" She frowned ferociously her mighty intellect considering how it would be possible to grant her kitty-kat wings. Beside her the fire flickered and she looked slightly ominous and mad scientist-ey. A shadow formed behind her back.
Perhaps it was fate. Perhaps it was chance. Perhaps it was just her particular smell, or the fire, or a god moving a piece from up above on some celestial board but for some reason or another Robyn's wailing attracted a stinkbug. Hideous, rank and as foul looking as it was foul smelling (from whence came the name) these small insects were considered good luck charms in many cultures and it was for that reason, perhaps, that they had not been wiped out. It landed in Robyn's hair, unnoticed but for some reason or another Robyn calmed down, the shadow behind her back receded and she went on to listen to the rest of her friend-friend-friend-friend's queries.
"Robyn-rin ish strong!" Robyn said proudly once sleep had been mentioned. "Robyn-rin doesn't need to sleep at all at all!" Then she was promptly distracted by the offering of food and happily munched, grinning and munching, then munching and grinning. Stella was so nice! Robyn wondered if maybe Stella could have been her mommy as a star. Did stars have leetle babies that came to earth? She didn't think so, but then again Robyn didn't know. Considering these thoughts Robyn almost didn't notice the time go past.
"Rinny you ready to go?"
Who was Rin... oh, that was clever! Robyn was a Rinny now! Tee-hee!
"Yupyup!" Robyn answered happily.

Stella smiled at her, then stood up. A strange stench was filling up the air, and Stella's nose crumpled. She looked around, her mind racing, ideas jumping in as she glanced around the grassy plains. Was another here? Perhaps a ZOMBIE!! Stella shuddered as she eyed the darkness around them, shadows seeming to stand out, and her eyes forming odd shaped around her. Nothing was there, but she was sure there was...
Backing off, she looked at Rinny her eyes wide. Something was... different. Stella looked closer at her, then noticed the difference. Her whole frame locked, going stiff, and her eyes went wider if they was possible. Her breathe became fast bursts, and her moth opened and closed. "I..i...i..i..." She murmured, her voice soft and lacking its usual pitch. She took a little step back then smiled nervously.
"Uh.. Rinny? There's a um... thing in your hair.." Her body relaxed as she backed off, and her hand indicated around the general area of Rinny's head. She kept her distance still, but felt she was being rude. Rinny might think she was avoiding her! Stella smiled at her kindly. "I'm sorry Rinny, i just really hate bugs.." She took another step back and tripped over a rock. She just laid there, on the floor, watching the bug on Rinny's head.
She wasn't sure, but she had a feeling this would be another pet of Rinny's. The cat had surprised her, but she had learned now that anything was possible. But Stella had never liked bugs, EVER, specially since the incident in the spider caves. Spiders, beetles, WORMS, they where all the same to her. She shuddered at the thought of all the creepy crawlies. She HATED them SO much!!!!

"There's a *thing* in Robyn-rin's hair-hair?" The leetle dead gurl asked. Then she clapped her hands together, giggling. "Silly Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend, Robyn-rin has lots of things in her hair! Things like-"
Robyn-rin plunged a hand inside the tangled weave of crusty, unwashed and unkempt hair and rummaged. "See Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend? Robyn has wooden shtick thingies..." She removed the said item, letting it fall carelessly to the ground, "pwebbles," those also clattered happily to the forest floor, "spider web shtuff." Her roaming hand finally found something interesting- a bump she couldn't identify and Robyn gave a mighty heave.
Whatever it was, it refused to come out. "Owchies." Her tongue sticking out of her mouth as she focused on the object, Robyn gave another groan and tugged. She couldn't see Stella react and didn't mind- this took a lot of concentration this removing business did! With a final swift and violent jerk she managed to pull it out. A triangular stone shaped-
"Hey! Arrow-head!" Robyn-rin said happily. "Must have happened when I was playing with some meanie-poohs." She said conspiratorially. She ruffled her hair again but the rest of the objects seemed firmly enmeshed. The small stinkbug, in the confusion, had slipped away and was now safely embedded in Robyn's hair-hair.
Stella's second statement confused Robyn-rin for a bit. "Bugs are friendy-friends!" Robyn said happily. Then she frowned. "Unless they become meanie-poohs. Then they're not friendy-friends at all. They're usually not meanie-poohs unless they're reaaaaaaally big. Then they try to eatchoo up. Meanies." She stuck out a tongue.
"Does Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend not like buggy-bugs?" Robyn asked politely. "Buggy bugs can be friendy-friends too!"
Star Dust - January 4, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
Stella watched as Rinny pulled out more.. things from her hair. Her eyebrows knitted together, her hand raising to her hair as was filled with yet another new emotion. Insecure? She rested her hand on the top of her head. Where there things like that in her hair? She removed her hand, and stood up slowly, carefully.
"Does Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend not like buggy-bugs? Buggy bugs can be friendly-friends too!" Rinny chipped in, and Stella shook her head a little uncertain. "Uhm.. no, Rinny, i really don't like bugs, of ANY kind. And that things still there..." She pointed to Rinny's head then grinned sheepishly.
"I have an idea..." She mumbled, then pulled out her wand. "TELEKENISIS!" She shouted, and the bug rose from atop of Rinny's head, and Stella guided it with her wand, her wrist bent and steady, with her tongue pointing out of her mouth slightly as she concentrated. She risked a brief look at Rinny, in which she smiled.
"Here it is!" Making sure the bug was far - FAR away from her as possible, Stella lowered it to the ground gingerly. She looked down at it, and kept her wand out - in case it decided to make a run for it in her direction. Her eyes never left the thing.

"Awwwww, eet's so cute!" Robyn squealed. Her nose wrinkled a bit as the more than foul odor finally assailed her brain... and then, in true Robyn fashion, she let out another giggle. "He's a Meester Stinky-Pants!" She pronounced, picking up the small creature who didn't seem to mind this treatment and actually looked like it was cleaning its various appendages. Preening might have been a more accurate word if bugs could preen.
(It was definitely preening)
"You're a cutie-wootie-lootie aren'tcha Meester Stinky-Pants?" Robyn said, cuddling her face next to the stinkbug in what was undoubtedly the first occurrence of these words or actions in the combined weight of Arda's entire history. The stink bug seemed to return the sentiment and was cuddling Robyn's face. If an artist had access to this incredible portrait he might have either gone mad and become a genius or gone mad and happily kill himself in an attempt to reconcile the world to this newfound madness.
Robyn tended to have that effect on people.
Robyn's smile went upside down then as a thought occurred to her. "I'm afraid Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend doesn't really liek you though." Meester Stinky Pants also seemed glum at these words. He buzzed around frantically and Robyn laughed again. "No, silly. I won't do that! Stella's a friend-friend-friend-FRIEND. And she gives Robyn-rin choco-lates." More buzzing. "Mebbe." She said mysteriously, making her lips poke upwards. "Mebbe."
"But in any case, Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend doesn't want to see ya anymore." Robyn said, kicking the ground. "So in you go." Then she opened her mouth and popped the stinkbug inside.
"Is it better now, Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend?" Robyn asked curiously. "Should we go now?"
Star Dust - January 7, 2008 03:52 PM (GMT)
Stella watched with curiosity as Rinny seemed to convert with the strange bug. "Mebbe" She had said, and Stella's eyes widened slightly. Maybe... what? What could they be talking about? She shuddered a little. Soo many images of the bug crawling on her flooded into her mind.
"But in any case, Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend doesn't want to see ya anymore. So in you go." Rinny popped the creature in her mouth, and Stella gasped in shock. What?! Had she eaten it? Her eyes frowned together as she watched, curiously. She had NEVER seen anyone intentionally put a bug in her mouth. Rinny was indeed a curious girl, but Stella really liked her.
"Is it better now, Stella-Friend-Friend-Friend-Friend? Should we go now?" Rinny asked, and Stella nodded briefly, still dissbeliveing. Just where exactly had the bug done after she had put it in her mouth? Stella had seen no chewing, so the incident was a mystery to her. Bug she wasn't one to judge, so she tried to send the image to the back of her mind.
"Yes Rinny, lets go" She smiled, then began to walk, her barbed staff close at her side, her eyes constantly on the look out for bugs. Soon the sun would rise, but the sky was still pitch black, and she was relying on her own glow to see.
(( Eh we better move this to the falls. You can start it if you like ^_^ ))
