Title: Awakening
Roshnak - January 27, 2006 07:19 AM (GMT)
Deep in the Alulanta Falls region a small demon wakes up. [COLOR=teal]"Where am I?" he thinks to himself. He looks around seeing the waterfalls and large amount of plant life ,hearing the animels and rushing water ,and smelling the fresh scent of the clean water.[COLOR=blue] "Well wherever I am it sure dosn't seem like a bad place" he says to himself wondering how he got there. Thinking he might aswell enjoy it he sits up and takes in the wonder and breath taking beauty ,and at that moment he seems to hear footsteps heading his way.
(Sorry if it's not very good this is the first time I've tried a forum RPG)
Ploay - January 27, 2006 02:08 PM (GMT)
Ploay was walking in the Alulanta Falls region. The beautiful place almost stunned her. The cool crisp smell of the waters rushing was so enjoyable. Although the loud sound from the waterfalls was making it kinda hard to hear anything else. The ground under her feet felt nice. The sun was starting to go down and she starter to see a someone in the distance.
She could make out the stranger by squinting her eyes. He seemed like a demon. He had blue hair that touched his shoulders. Black deep eyes from what she could tell. As she was getting close she realized that he was kinda short. He was no more then 5 feet of him. ‘I wonder what he is doing here.’ Ploay asked herself. What could a demon possible get out of watching water? ‘Maybe there is more to this demon then meets the eye.’ She studied him for a few seconds.
She thought she might as well say hello. She softly smiled in her mind and said, “Hello.” She gave him a blank stare with her deep light blue eyes. She waiting for him to answer or to ignore her. Or maybe he would attack her. Only his action would tell.
(hey you did good for a first timer)
Roshnak - January 31, 2006 05:04 AM (GMT)
Roshnak saw the archangel approach him. An archangel almost never approached him. He thought because she was an angel he would be worried that she will attack him. He slowly stood up. The archangel stopped and said, “hello.” Hello? Was that all the girl had to say to him? Did she not want to kill him and rid the world of demons? The skinny demon looked at her with his black eyes. His eyes were cold. He didn’t want her to attack him because he wasn’t that used to fighting an angel. So he tried to flatter her, “wow it is a wonderful day. Gosh you have such pretty hair.” Although he was faking, the demon did see some sort of attraction. He had no idea what it was. He slowly looked from her feet to her head. He liked what he saw. But what was odd that this archangel looked so human. This starting to make him question if he knew the difference between an angel and a human. He said to the archangel, “I’m called Roshnak.” He was silent for a moment then he sat back down looking away from the angel who spoke to him.
Ploay - January 31, 2006 05:23 AM (GMT)
The archangel blinked when the demon was trying to flatter her. She had a feeling that he was just saying that. The demon looked like he feared her. Ploay sat down next to him. She took off her sandals showing callouses on her feet. She dipped her foot in the cool stream. She sighed softly then looked back at the demon. The demon was still looking away from her. ‘I wonder what is wrong with him.’ She thought to herself.
Roshnak was a little shorter then Ploay but when they sat down they were equal sizes. Roshnak was very quiet. Ploay liked quiet. Quiet meant she didn’t have to talk about her past. Conversation are nice, but sometimes she just wanted to sit and watch the view. And this new demon that she looked at was just like that.
She looked at his hair and giggled. “You have such blue hair.” She said to him. She paused for a moment and looked at her red hair that was laying on her shoulder and stopped giggling. She wanted to know where Roshnak came from. But she was too shy to ask him that. Ploay was never so shy that she couldn’t ask a simple question. She shook her head at the thought I possible liking a demon that way. The crisp cool air was so enjoyable that Ploay caught herself smiling.
Roshnak - January 31, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
Roshnak gave her an odd look of confusion. What was this sound that she was making? This giggling was something he had never heard before in his life. The demon thought that this archangel would never leave. How she talked about his hair, it was kinda annoying. “Stop it!” Roshnak yelled at her. I don’t like that sound your making. He shivered and squinted at her with those dark eyes. He sighed, “I’m sorry that I yelled.” He wondered why he was being sorry to the strange girl. He looked into her blue eyes then her turned his head away from her. He then look at her foot that was in the stream. By the looks of her feet he could tell she liked to travel. This was very unique to him. He always thought that angels were pampered and never walked a mile in their life. By judging by her feet he could see that he was very wrong.
“So, what is your name?” He said in a deep demonic voice.
Ploay - January 31, 2006 06:03 AM (GMT)
Ploay was shocked that the small demon had such a deep voice. She got back into her emotionless state of mind. “My name is Ploay.” She looked at the demon and become brave. She said something to him she didn’t have the courage to say a few moments before. “So where did you come from?” She tilted her head to the side in interest. Then wind softly blew her hair. It was such a wonderful feeling. The very oddness of talking to this demon was she felt that she could open up to him. But he barked at her, should she just forget that and move on? “I forgive you for yelling at me.” Ploay said in a sweet voice. She pulled her foot out of the water and hugged her knees.
Maybe this demon could understand her. No one else seemed to. And it was possible that a demon could understand an angel in such an odd position in life as Ploay was. It always seemed that no one even wanted to try to understand her. It could be that she never tried to give anyone a chance. The waterfall seemed to be so far away and the conversation between the demon and the angel was the only thing that Ploay could hear. It was as if there was only him sitting next her. She felt weird that an angel coud feel at such peace with a demon.
She looked at the beautiful place and asked Roshnak, “don’t you think this place is wonderful?” Even though Ploay tried to hide her emotions she couldn't help but let them out alittle
Roshnak - January 31, 2006 06:22 AM (GMT)
The demon showed a faint smile on his lips. He did know that this place was beautiful. He nodded at Ploay. “Yes it is wonderful.” Roshnak looked down avoiding Ploay’s eyes. He thought to himself, where did I come from? He looked at the angel and said, “I don’t know where I came from. I am lost, I woke up here and I don’t know where here is.” He kept on looking at her. The place wasn’t the only thing beautiful. He realized that he was staring so he bowed his head down again.
Roshnak was glad that Ploay forgave him for yelling at her. He was really sorry for that. He should have been thankful that someone decided to walk up and say hello. He didn’t feel as dark as he did before he met her. In fact he started to feel not as grumpy. He felt talking to an angel like this was wrong so he got up. He was silent for a moment. He couldn’t just leave someone nice like that all alone. He looked down at her, “do you want to take a walk with me?” He said in a shallow voice. He almost hoped she would say yes. “And maybe you can tell be alittle bit about yourself.” He added.
Ploay - January 31, 2006 06:36 AM (GMT)
Ploay was amazed that the demon just asked her to take a walk with him. She nodded at him and stood up. “You are at the Alulanta Falls.” Ploay put her wet foot in her sandal. It made a squishing sound when she placed her foot down. As they started to walk Ploay began to tell about her life. “Well there was this prank me and my friends would pull. It was quiet harmless fun.” She went on about all the good things for about ten minutes. But she never mention about her friend who become an archangel and changed. Ploay didn’t even talk about why she looked so human. These things she would always keep hidden.
They past waterfall after waterfall. The lands were lovely to look at. She enjoyed herself, it was the most wonderful place she had ever been to. And it was with a demon. She saw all the streams leading to a clear pool. She asked to Roshnak, “do you wanna stick your feet down in the water and sit at the edge?”
Even if the demon didn’t want to, Ploay would. Ploay took of her sandals and then sat at the edge of the pool. She rolled up her pant legs and dipped her legs in the pool.
Roshnak - January 31, 2006 11:32 PM (GMT)
Roshnak looked at Ploay as she sat in the damp mosses. For a traveler how could she stand to sit down so easily. He guessed that every once in awhile a traveler can take breaks. He didn’t have any plans so he might as well sit next to her. He was already bare footed. He then slowly walked up to the angel then sat down next to her. He sat two feet away from her. And he kept his feet out of the water. Roshnak crossed his legs and looked at the clear pool. The mosses had a pleasant smell to them as the smell entered Roshnak’s nose. There was one big waterfall at the end. It had smooth rocks that you could see. The water lightly parted as it ran down the rocks. It almost looked like the rocks were leading upwards. The waterfall made a loud rushing sound. But they were far enough so they could talk some. “Why are you so kind to me?” He asked in a mysterious voice. He couldn’t remember anyone being so kind. It was as if Ploay cared about him as if he was an old friend of hers.
Ploay - February 1, 2006 06:03 AM (GMT)
Ploay felt a few fish tickle her feet. The water was nice and calm. Ploay felt herself in tunes with the wind. But the water was also good. The water was starting to bring a chill to Ploay’s feet so she lifted him out of the water. A slight windy breeze lifted up. The end of her red hair seemed as if it were dancing in the wind. She loved the wind. How it would always change was awesome to her. Sometimes Ploay felt herself that she was one with the wind. Sometimes the wind would act how she felt or what she said. Like when she felt at peace, the wind seemed to be peaceful. Or when she said something in an angry tone, the wind seemed to be angry too. She enjoyed how the wind would smell. And sometimes she could almost taste the wind. Ploay and the wind seemed to share something in common. What they shared was great. The wind and she would always be moving, and changing. The wind would never be fully still. It would be calm just like how Ploay is right now. Ploay is sitting down calmly but she hasn’t stopped moving or thinking. This closeness that they shared was the only thing that really made sense to the archangel.
Ploay hugged her knees again and looked all around her. The pool was big and glorious. There were rocks and mossy ledges. All around her it was either green, blue, or light grey. The moss was green, the water was a light blue color, and the smooth rocks were grey. She noticed on the huge waterfall how the water would part when it met the rocks. This was one of the greatest places she has ever seen. The smell from the water was still crisp. She loved that freshness from the water and mosses. She could hear the streams running gently. And if Ploay was closer to the waterfall she would have heard a loud booming sound.
She found herself almost lost in the wonderful view. But then the archangel looked at Roshnak and she snapped out of her daze of wonder. She heard him ask why she was so kind to him. Ploay thought about this for a moment. In a few moments of silence Ploay found the answer, “I’m kind to you because you have done no ill toward me. So I have no reason to be ill to you.” She said those words in a pale voice. For a demon Roshnak seemed very harmless. So Ploay had a slight trust in him.
The archangel couldn’t stand sitting down any more so she stood up. She placed her sandals back on her feet. Then she rolled her pant legs back down. She didn’t get her pants wet and she was glad for that. Pants were hard to walk in when they are so heavy and wet. Ploay heard light giggling in the distance. It was a high-pitched sound. She looked and on to her left there were four goblins and one orc that seemed to be bossing them around. The goblins had green skin and pointy ears. The goblins were four feet tall and kinda stubby. The orc who was with them had a pig like nose. The orc had dark green skin and it was tall, around 7 feet.
The monsters didn’t seem to notice them. But they smelled they smelled them and soon looked at them both. She noticed that they came out of a cave in the waterfall. The wind blew their sent over their way. The smell clouded the crisp smell of the water into this horrible stench. The monsters all had short swords and they started to advance towards the archangel and the demon.
Roshnak - February 2, 2006 06:38 AM (GMT)
The goblins started to come closer at them but the orc stayed behind. Roshnak stood up next to the archangel. He withdrew his katana. Then the goblins started to run at them. As they got closer Roshnak could smell how awful their sent was. They kept coming closer and Roshnak waited. “I’ll take the two on the right, you take the ones on the left.” He said to Ploay.
Ploay - February 2, 2006 07:07 AM (GMT)
Ploay unsheathed her katana. The archangel was very prepared for the two goblins she was about to exterminate. Only killing two was good, but the orc she would need the demon’s help on. “Alright we will share with the goblins.” She said in a cold voice, “but the orc, we both take it down, alright?” The goblins were getting closer. Ploay stepped closer to the edge of the pool of water. It was so hard to believe that these horrible creatures were at such a wonderful place. The goblins were horrible for a big reason. That reason was understandable to Ploay. These goblins were horrible because everywhere they went they caused mischief. The mischief they caused was annoying. They were either getting others hurt or hurting themselfs.
The goblins waddled closer. Ploay’s two goblins were getting closer. So the archangel took a firm stance and she was more prepared then a few moments ago. The stench coming from the goblins gotten worse. She hated how they were tainting the air with their smell. She couldn’t understand how something could smell this awful. ‘They are so ugly.’ She thought to herself. The wind softly blew at the goblins direction. This made the smell a little more bearable.
They archangel started to rush towards the goblins. As she was getting closer the set of goblins came her way. And the two that were supposed to be Roshnak’s kill was also headed at her. She should have waited and attacked the goblins together with Roshnak, but it was too late to turn back. “Roshnak help!” Ploay said loudly. A goblin lunged his sword at her but Ploay blocked it. The sound between two swords made a clinging sound. The two metals being clashed made Ploay’s katana shake as it blocked the short sword. The archangel could only hope that her new demon friend would make it in time. The orc was just standing their. Watching its servents try to kill the archangel. Then the orc started to laugh evily.
Nexuss S2 - February 2, 2006 03:30 PM (GMT)
((Sory it's so short. I've gotta go to class!!))
From up behind the orc, came Maximus. The Orc had no time to react, and was cut in half by his blade. He then seathed it and stood there, watching them.
Ploay - February 2, 2006 05:29 PM (GMT)
That general! What was he doing here at this lovely place. If the archangel had a choice in what demon stayed and what demon would go. She would have picked the general to go. Clenching her fist tightly making her fingers dig into her palms. It felt good to have such a tight grip on her hands. The pain made her anger simmer down a little. The orc was killed, and there was less to fight. She grit her teeth. Not paying any a thought to the goblins she felt a huge pain on her back. The pain felt like a sharp object dug into her skin. In vain she pulled forward trying to get the sharp object out of her back. Her feet were slipping a little as she was pulling away on the damp moss. A goblin had stabbed its short sword into her back a little. As the sword was slowing being pulled out as the archangel struggled to get lose. Blood was dripping rather fast. In her martial arts training she was taught not to let things distract her. To have full concentration on what was happing now.
The archangel then turned and faced the goblins. Behind her was the clear pool. She did not want a drop of blood spilled on this beautiful place. The goblins were coming towards her slowly. They went slow because they feared that the demon general would kill them too. Just as the demon killed their master. The archangel used her whirlwind attack. Doing so she out stretched her katana holding arm then spun at the goblins. She cut the goblins arm off but it was still was able to fight.
Taking deep breaths the archangel panted. Sweat was started to get in her eyes. She then shook her head alittle to get rid of the sweat coming from her forehead. 'should have worn a head band' she thought to herself. Could she kill these goblins who were coming after her with the general distracting her? She knew she could. Using full consentration she knew that she had to not pay a thought to the demon. Only thing she wanted was Roshnak to get off his behind and help her. But how did she know she could trust him?
Roshnak - February 3, 2006 09:13 PM (GMT)
As Roshnak saw his friend wounded really bad he felt sad. He started to ran as fast as he could so he could help fight off those goblins. As he got close her saw blood stain on Ploay’s lower back. He slid in front of his friend and held up his katana in front of them. “How bad are you hurt?” He said in a soft voice. He glared at the goblins. The goblin who had its arm cut off advanced forward. Roshnak didn’t want his new friend to get killed. He lunged at the goblin cutting off its head. His sword went though its neck like the sword was cutting though butter. Green blood spilled. There were three more goblins left. Another goblin lunged at Roshnak. Roshnak ducked and the goblin took some of his hair with its short sword. Blue thin hair dropped to the ground. Anger surged though his temple vain on his skull. If you looked close enough you could see the vain beating. He hoped that Ploay didn’t loose too much blood. If she lost to much blood then she may die.The green goblins started to get closer. And the demon gritted his teeth. Why am I protecting her? He asked himself in a hating voice in his mind. These feelings of kindness was making him sick. His stomach growled. It was as if his guts were flipping inside him. He out stretched his arm to the side. He did this because he was using his arm a shield for Ploay. “Stay behind me.” He told her softly. If he could look at her he would smile. But he kept his eyes on the goblins.
Ploay - February 3, 2006 09:25 PM (GMT)
The archangel was shocked that the demon cared for her so much. Ploay could have hugged him. But she really wasn’t the hugging type of angel. The demon asked her how much the pain was. “Very little, but I still hurt.” She said to him in a weak voice. It was a good thing that the short sword from the goblin missed her vital organs. But she was still bleeding at a pretty fast rate. The demon out stretched his arm. ‘Is he using his arm for a shield for me?’ The archangel thought to herself. Questioning why he would do that the archangel showed a faint smile. She smiled and didn’t hide it. It wasn’t every day that a demon would protect an angel.
“Stay behind me.” The demon said to her in such a soft sweet voice. He didn’t look at her. He kept his face to the goblins. Lifting her sword up she said to him. “I can still fight. Let me help you.” She talked to him in a weak voice. She did her best to hide it but it was hard to do so. Not really being able to help the angel went under Roshnak’s arm, then stood beside him. She took a martial arts stance. She was holding her katana on her hip, while pointing the blade at one goblin’s neck. Her arms were shaky and she tried to hold herself up. She took fast, deep, shrilling breaths. “I’m not in the mood to die.” She said strongly.
Ploay then looked at the demon next to her and nodded at him, “lets do this together....my friend.” She said in such a quiet voice that was hardly heard. The wind softly blew her hair back. She gripped on her katana tightly and waited for the goblins to come. Slowly and cautiously the goblins came closer. She spun around then chopped at the goblin who was the closest.
She missed him a little and only got his pointy ear off. The smell of its blood filled her nose. It was a really unpleasant smell. She could only hope that this fight would be over quickly. She held up her katana close to her. Taking slow breaths to try ignore her painful wound. Ploay never felt such pain in the longest time. The last time she felt pain this bad, was when she had to leave her home.
Roshnak - February 8, 2006 05:35 AM (GMT)
Seeing how the wounded archangel could take care of herself, Roshnak felt a little better. Sadness would take hold of his heart if he let Ploay died. And who was this general? Roshnak tried his best to concentrate on the goblins. There were three left and one of them had only on ear. How Ploay missed like that, he felt that she was weaker then she had said. Why dose she hide her pain from me? Roshnak thought to himself. Knowing that they just met, but still. Ploay didn’t need to hid her pain from him. He glanced at her then looked back at the goblins. He tried to thrust his katana in the goblin’s neck. At first he missed, then he swung the katana to chop off its neck. The goblin’s head was cut off then its body dropped. There were only two more goblins left now. Roshnak had a feeling that the Archangel could take care of herself. But just in case he stood close to her. So close that he could almost feel her body heat.
Ploay - February 8, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
The demon was getting a little to close for a friend. But Ploay didn’t mind. She held in her blush then thought why would he be protecting her like that. Maybe he just wanted something out of her. Just thinking about the goblins, and Roshnak. Ploay was forgetting about the general. The earless goblin lunged forward. Ploay whirlwind kicked the goblin back. The goblin fell on its back. The wind softly blew and the other goblin was coming forward. Still panting the archangel gripped onto her katana. She held her katana up then strafed at the goblin who was coming. Her blade entered its heart. The blade still in its heart Ploay started to spin. As she spun the katana was cutting though the goblin. And the goblin who was down started to come back up. She kept spinning then heard a splotch sound. She stopped and saw the goblin cut and two, then the other goblin’s head was cut off by her blade.
The archangel took two steps back. Then collapsed to the wet ground. Her wound was almost unbearable. “Aaaah!” She cried out. Tears of pain would have gone down her cheeks. But she knew if she let out her emotions. Then she would turn into her angelic form. And if she turned into her angelic form, she would harm the demon. And she didn’t want to do that. So she kept in the pain as much as she could. In fact this pain was worse then her being cast out onto the world. It was as if thousands of daggers were going though her.
She looked up at Roshnak and lightly smiled. He saved her and she was grateful. Dark clouds were coming together. And rain started to twinkle down. “Thank you.” She said to Roshnak in a weak voice. The rain felt good. But it was cold and gave Ploay goose bumps. She then held onto herself and started to shiver. She noticed a cave where the goblins came from. Using a weak finger, Ploay pointed to the cave. But she was too weak to move. Her took her hand and felt her wound on her back. It wasn’t bleeding as bad as she thought. But it hurt, and it hurt more when she touched it. So she jerked her hand away from the wound.
Roshnak - February 8, 2006 05:39 AM (GMT)
Those whirlwind attacks were amazing. He couldn’t believe she was so good at that. Seeing how she collapsed to the ground. It must have taken her a lot of energy to do. The archangel pointed at the small cave. Roshnak couldn’t see how an orc could have fit in there. It looked like it could only fit four goblins. But he did know it was big enough for them. Roshnak kneeled down besides the archangel. He noticed her wound wasn’t too bad. But her wound still needed to be treated. Roshnak wasn’t quiet sure how to treat a wound. Although he did know how to get in shelter. So he gently wrapped his arms around her and picked her up. He held her close making sure he wouldn’t drop her. He pasted the general cautiously. As they got to the small cave. Roshnak set the archangel down in the cave. He sat next to her. Roshnak had no idea how to treat a wound, but her thought he could put pressure on it. Roshnak turned Ploay on her side then pressed his palm on her lower back. The blood was hot but the demon didn’t mind helping. A few minutes later the blood stopped running. He then took his cloak and draped it across the archangel. That would keep her a little bit warm. I wish I could have helped her more. Roshnak thought to himself. Roshnak turned his back to her and waited for the rain to stop.
Ploay - February 8, 2006 05:50 AM (GMT)
The archangel started to drift to sleep. Her mind started to give her dreams. Her dreams were taking her in the past. When she saw Roshnak. It was a blurry dream and Ploay couldn’t make out what was being said. But she seemed happy in the dream. But then in her dream flames started to dance around her. Holy flames were getting close to the demon. And it looked like the demon is in pain. Then everything gets dark, and Ploay wakes up. What could the dream have ment? Was it just a dream, or was it something more? That dream gave her shivers of fear in her heart. Her heart was beating faster. It was a steady beat, as if her heart had became a beating drum.
She gasped as she woke up. Cold sweat was slowly running to her eyes. Almost blind in sweat, she clung to the nearest thing tightly. The nearest thing was Roshnak. When she realized she was clinging unto the demon she let go and jerked away. Blushes a little the shocked angel looked away. “I’m so sorry.” She said in an alarming voice. She felt that something was heavy on her back. Looking at her shoulder she noticed that Roshnak’s cloak was on her. She slowly shook her hand and gave the cloak back to him. “No thank you, I like the cold. You keep warm.” She spoke in an embarrassing voice. The rain didn’t seem to be stopping. And the general was still standing away from what the archangel could tell. Although it was kinda hard to see that far because of the rain. The rain had a crisp smell that made her more alarmed.
She lightly smiled at Roshnak. She was happy that he cared. Not too many cared about her because she wandered a lot and never stayed long enough for someone to care. Her heart was beating fast. Not knowing what the fluttering feeling was going inside her. When she looked at the demon she had to look away. Red splotches were all over her cheeks from embarrassment. Loathing this feeling she tried to hide it by covering her face. As she was hiding her red cheeks a sharp feeling was poking at her side. Slowly looking she saw a stick stuck in the earth. Cautiously grasping it with her frail hand she felt it was very muddy. Then she started to give the stick a tug. It wasn’t coming out. She wanted to see why a stick in the earth would be here. It didn’t seem normal to her.
As she kept pulling the stick became limp and the archangel was pushed back by her own weight. The stick came out and she noticed that there was a hole in the earth. It was about the size of a fist. But the stick was much smaller. It looked as if the stick was just camouflage. ‘I wonder what is on the other side.’ Ploay thought to herself. What had they stumbled upon? She turned to the demon, “Hey Roshnak lets dig here,” she said in a kind voice while pointing at the hole. “And see what is at the other side.” Trying to hide her curiosity she give a slight smile at the demon.
The archangel was realling starting to like the demon. He nice and he saved her. And to put up with her, he must have some guts.
