Nobunaga Oda - December 8, 2007 07:20 AM (GMT)
Nights, days, months, years, all went by. The man by the name of Nobunaga was nowhere to be found. Year after year had passed. Where was he? He had left the world of which everyone knew so that he can perfect his masterful fighting style in total seclusion. Working on the technique Demon’s Rage had caused him to want to finish off his training in total peace. That was exactly what he got. Peace to train and peace to thank. He was able to subdue his murderous hunger long enough to master himself more. He left knowing a little but came back even better. Before he had gone he was starting to learn how he could push his body to other limits to where he can teleport himself form one place to another. Teleporting for a human was a hard feat to pull off but he was able to do it now. He was also able to push his natural body to its full limits and produce a speed never before seen. The training worked wonders for him. He came back stronger, evil, and different.

He was not the normal eye candy that he had left. He had grown. He had aged, and he had also grown in knowledge. He was no longer the little teenager boy who was accepted into the Legendary Swordsmen. He was now a walking power house. His body aged but yet he was as healthy as any normal demon or elf. He had small traces of Elvin blood running through him. Not so much that he inherited all of their abilities, but enough to gain a minor longevity. Training in Demon’s Rage had also trained his body to withstand the strain that excessive power that creatures like demons and orcs wield. He was now able to wield that same power. The surprising fact about it was that he was a human. No normal human could pull this off. Only ones trained highly could, and Nobunaga was trained and was still learning.

The day came quickly and quietly. The day beamed down on the earth but the temperature was moderately cool. The time for seasons to change was near. Nobunaga had been gone so long that sense of time was completely lost for the moment. There was no need for it.

A slight breeze swept through the grasslands of Salquedor as the grass rolled slightly to the breeze. The aroma of the grasslands was nice as flowers released their scents for all to smell. This day was a beautiful day to mark a major part in history. The beautiful day signified the death and destruction that was on its way by the hands of nobunaga.

As Nobunaga walked down the last hill, a small figure dressed in heavy clad armor and a hulking sword stood at the very bottom. He seemed to be waiting on Nobunaga, yet the beast was not worried. Nobs knew him. Knew him well too.

“You have finally return to these lands Nobunaga Oda. Welcome back.” The armored man said before he turned around and started to walk away. There was not supposed to be a conversation between hem. That small meeting was just to let Nobunaga know that he was not alone and still had allies. “Just make sure you watch your back at all times” the man said as he turned around and pointed to the sky directly behind nobunaga.

“Pathetic” nobs said as he reached his hands into the claws that were strapped to his side. Nobunaga was a swordsman but he now started off with the claws and saved the swords for last resort. “You will have to do better than that” nobunaga snarled as he quickly turned around and stopped the incoming sword with his claws. The man was another black hooded man with a sword with red writings down his sword.

Nobunaga wasted no time at all and quickly dropped his body and threw his feet outwards launching a kick aimed right above the knee of the attacker. The hit landed perfectly and the mans lower body went flying back as his upper body fell forward. Nobunaga reacted from that point with a quick slash attack aimed for the face of his attacker. The hit landed right on point but the man did not shed blood. The man just let out a small sigh and busted into dust.

“A pawn. Some test.” Nobunaga said getting up putting his claws back on their correct holsters. With a small kip, nobunaga was back on his feet and turned around to where the armored man was standing only to find him not there. A smirk of satisfaction fell upon nob’s face as he knew he passed that little test.

“Well world. Nobunaga Oda is back. Prepare yourself for hell because I am coming for you” he yelled out marking this day as the return of a legend. This day will be remembered by all. The day that devastation was reincarnated.

Lady Darkness - December 12, 2007 05:18 AM (GMT)
An eerie wind gusted across the landscape, murmuring with it demonic hisses that echoed in various chords of unison one name: Nobunaga. In the direction of the gust, a dark figure slithered through the landscape as silent as a shadow on the wall and as agile as a primate. The silhouette of the demoness’s figure swerved ‘round the corner of the solitary tree within the outskirts of the grasslands, evenly cut hair gliding on the air with fluid motion. Dark orbs flickered and searched before her, her body frozen perfectly within the tree’s massive wood like a ninja, peeking slightly over the edge to make sure the cost was clear. She’d been in this part of Arda once before with one of her allies named Vencrest, a drow she was rather found of. From that experience, she knew better than to charge through these grasslands at night by herself, even if its pathetic inhabitants were no match for the slash and burn nature of this sinister creature.

Lady Darkness had heard the legends of a human known as Nobunaga Oda and of his training in secluded areas where his concentration could not be broken. From the tales she had heard of this somehow notorious bar-brawling mortal, the demoness smiled upon the words of his passion for violence and blood, passion for the life of the sword. For years, he had been missing from the world that was being contaminated by her wicked influence as the days ticked by like the beat of a human heart. Sixteen years for a human past by like a snail, too slow to miss a single detail. Sixteen years for a demon past by in the blink of unholy eyes in the months, so it seemed, of his absence. It had been years since his mortal eyes had taken on the sight of Arda, the world in which he was birthed and raised, and now he had descended from the mountains to take it by a storm of benevolence and chaos. Lady Darkness’s thin lips formed a sly grin.

There had been ripples of gossip around the town of Lomedor, around the Pub in which she normally dwelled, of the Beast that had come down in a fury of blood lust. For a mortal to portray such hot-headed nature was common, but from the tales she’d heard, he was full of surprises. That was what she loved most about his tales. But whether or not they were lies or facts made her curious. Lady Darkness didn’t have much time; she had to find the human before sunrise. She had a proposition for him.

Minutes flew by in seconds as she teleported across the planes to the middle of the grasslands that was marred only by a solitary tree. Her claws dug into the earth brown bark like a cat, darting up its form to rest in the shadows of the branches. ”Hey, you!” the demoness’s voice carried across the roaring crowd of people gathered within the tavern. A man clad in silver and black armor turned to look at her, lowering his cup of ale. Lady Darkness beckoned to him with a jerk of her head, an invitation he couldn’t ignore. He crossed the room in seconds flat, his palm resting flat upon the table at which she sat alone. “What can I do for you, demoness?” he asked collectively, a gleam in his eyes. The broadsword that hung from his back tapped slightly against his armor as he knelt to set his gaze level with her’s. The slits became diamonds in her black eyes as she tapped her claws silently against the tree bark with impatience. ”I have a favor, my good man.” she grinned devilishly. The warrior smiled in response, nodding his head for her to continue. Lady Darkness reached into her blouse, pulling out a sealed envelope with a celtic crescent moon burnt in wax over the overlay to seal the letter inside. She pointed it towards the warrior, her motion that of a cutting edge, a loud slicing sound burning the air from her motion as it was presented to him, pointed towards his throat. The warrior was taken by surprise of such a hostile notion.

But what wasn’t hostile about her? ”If you see Nobunaga Oda, give this to him. Tell him its from a being of nightmares. He’ll understand.”
She had told the warrior to deliver her message to the Beast of the man that was Nobunaga, where ever he might be. Concealed within the confines of the envelope was an unlined paper made of Cyprus with words in an elegant script. She did not give her name or any hints of her identity, but she simply informed him that she had been following his tale with interest. Lady Darkness’s request was for him to met her at the center of the Salquedor Grasslands at nightfall where she would be waiting for him. A sly grin trimmed the edges of her malevolent smile. Would he come? Would he follow her request and met her here in the middle of no where, here in the grasslands where he could be easily ambushed and killed? Curious to know what course of action Nobunaga would take, the demoness waited ever so patiently…

For now…

Nobunaga Oda - December 21, 2007 12:44 PM (GMT)
Day slowly turned into nightfall on this day of epic proportions. Nobunaga had returned and what was the best way to reintroduce himself other than going to his favorite pub in Lomedor. He always went into the pub for a drink and so the best way to get the word out was through the bartender’s big mouth and maybe a few deaths while he was at the pub. All in a days work.

Time quickly passed by, but what was time? What was it needed for in the life of this beast? Time was absolutely nothing. It meant nothing and it had no meaning at all. It was just a way to keep up with the days but its so dumb that nobunaga doesn’t bother to even try to keep up with it for he has all the time in the world to kill and destroy.

The pub was reached quickly and it was a tad bit more rowdy and crowded than Nobunaga expected. Nobunaga walked in and the entire pub went silent for a moment and then reengaged themselves in what they were doing. Nobunaga saw a few familiar faces, some people who he had seen in the pub years ago drinking and laughing in the same manor as they were now. Not paying too much attention to that, nobunaga walked to the bar counter and asked for a beer.

“Yes Si…I don’t believe it.” The bartender said realizing who the person was asking for a drink. The bartenders face lit up with happiness and also anger for he could tell some kind of brawl was coming now. “How you been?” the tender said trying to engage in light conversation.

Nobunaga drank his entire ale in one swallow and slammed his glass on the table. “I been swell, but now that I am back, tell everyone that death has returned” he said as he got up and turned to walk away. As he was walking to the door there was two people who ran in front of him and cut him off. “Pay the toll maggot. You used my bar so pay me now.” The idiot said tempting death itself.

Nobunaga looked down at the man and reached out and grabbed him by the neck. Nobunaga squeezed the life out of him slowly loving the fact that this man was squirming and trying so hard to live. Why try to live? Death was so much sweeter in Nobunaga’s heart.

His little friend tried to act quick by picking up a chair and breaking it across the back of nobunaga. That did little to nothing but piss the dark warrior off more. Nobunaga lifted the man into the air by his neck and slammed him into the ground crushing his pathetic face and he did the same thing for his friend. They were both dead and now the whole bar had went on completely silent mode.

“Fight Me.” Some man said at the entrance dressed in an armor that looked pretty nice. The man drew his sword and without waiting for nobunaga’s answer he charged in like a fool. Nobunaga normally fought with claws before he fought with swords but this time was an exception. He drew his deadliest blade he had. His Shadow Lightning Blade.

Before the man even had a chance to lay a single hit on Nobunaga he was on the ground. Nobunaga had side stepped his petty attack and completely ripped out the side of his body using his sword. The man had fallen to the ground shuddering wildly. “I Am Back. The ruler of death has returned. NOBUNAGA ODA!!” he said as he turned to walk out.

“Wait….Take this.” The armored man said reaching out to nobunaga holding out a tiny piece of paper. Nobunaga read it and dropped it on the floor. A meeting with someone, and not only did she want a meeting, she wanted it at a certain time. Everything was based off a false time to these people but oh well. A new job offer might be something nobunaga needs to get back into the swing.

Nobunaga took off running at full speed using his ability sprint to cover a lot of distance incredibly fast. It took merely minutes to get to where he needed to go. It was night and so slightly hard to see but he could see in the distance a dark figure at the exact meeting place. No problem, time for a little fun.

“Teleport” nobunaga said as he appeared in the trees above her. Nobunaga looked down at her and snarled before saying anything. “So why me” nobunaga said in the confines of the tree. It sounded as if he was in a few different places at the same time. “Why me huh? Why can’t you do it alone?” nobunaga said before finally deciding to test her. “Teleport” he said one more time as he appeared in front of her. But as fast as he was in front of her he was letting a back kick aimed right for her face go. What she did would determine what the next course of action with her would be.

Lady Darkness - January 3, 2008 05:18 PM (GMT)
A shuddering wind tore through the landscape, gusting back her evenly cut raven hair. Leaves rustled; a vibration rose from the earth a few feet away. The next one she felt from a branch. A mischevious smirk cracked her thin lips- the human known as Nobunga had arrived. And in excellent timing, too. He was early. A snarl broke thorugh the chill air, breaking through her thoughts. Nobunaga was a human... why was he attempting to make himself sound fiercer than a kitten? The power within the tone was all but masked, but sheer brawn wouldn't last without the company of wit.

"So why me, huh?" his voice growled, clearly trying to tease her. A scoff fell from her lips. Lady Darkness surpressed a laugh. Was this guy serious?! Why would a demon cower before a human filth?! She decided to play his game, play it and win. "Can't you do it alone?" he growled once more. The sound of his voice was thrown to the wind, shattering in various places so it seemed. This demoness knew better- she could smell him in the branches... the leaves where rich with his dreadful scent.

Another vibration tore through the earth, echoing from the hallow of the branches teh moment his weight was lifted. This human had a few tricks. He'd teleported. Too bad for him she was repaired. The second he appeared in front of her, Lady Darkness was no where to be seen. "Child's play."
The hilt of a short sword pointed to the nape of his neck, threatening to pierce his flesh at any moment as it hung suspended in the air by her elegent, milk white hand. The other short sword was pointed towards the mid-section of his spine's pressure point, also at the ready. She would show him and anyone else who dared to test her that the Mistress of Torment was a force to be reckoned with. More than any formittable foe.

"You're early, Nobunaga Oda." she hissed between her fangs, her voice as toxic as a belldona flower as it lanced through the air like an iced dagger. Her other weapons, a simple dagger and the Black Dagger, were hidden beneath teh second layer of her midnight "skirt". "If you didn't think I was strong enough to hold my own, then why did you come?" the venom in her dark voice deepened, "Or did you simply wish to pick a fight? A bit foolish, don't you think? We're wasting moon light like this. You came for the mission, yes?" Lady Darkness didn't break her stance. She knew better than to underestimate or overestimate her opponents. "It's an assassination mission. Of course, I could've handled it alone, but Mistress firmly ordered me to pair with an ally. If you're interested, speak now. Other wise, you're wasting my time."
