He stood there quietly at the gates. He was watching the gaurds talk to the pheasants and local farmers. They were gruff and rude mannered yet effective. He heaved out a sigh before adjusting his shoulder strap that had a mighty 7ft two-handed sword tied to the ends. After standing for a few more seconds he started of at a eased and laid back pace. He reached the gates and walked threw after answering the questions. They were simple and easy to answer, name, buisness and the like. They did eyeball his sword with a look of worry after they let him threw the gates.
After abit he smelled a delicious, and tantalizing scent that brought him to the center of the city. He saw the food vendor selling the delicious meal he had smelled. He was over there fast enough considering people cleared a path for the close to 8ft giant of a man. He talked for a few seconds before exchanging a few coins and taking his meal to sit on stone bench. He unslung the sword and propped it beside him before take a seat to munch on the food he had bought watching as many different people walked by.
Ayaker was what one might call a street rat, another might call him a common criminal, labels aside, he was up to no good at the current time. He walked through the city, looking for possible opportunities. He needed some money to pay for some food, or some actual food, and since he was more of a pickpocket and less of a robber, he needed to find an unsuspecting civilian.
He spotted someone who appeared to be new in town, enjoying a meal outside the pub. This man was not one to be caught in the act by it appeared, for he had a gigantic sword that looked like it had seen action. It also did not help that this man towered over two feet above Ayaker. Ayaker was not one to be frightened easily, but he wasn't stupid enough to challenge a gladiator with a broomstick. He had to scope out a possible course of action and get a general idea of this guy before he did anything.
Ayaker sat down at a bench next to the man. He had his draconic features hidden at the time so that he may appear human and perhaps get a friendlier response. "Hello sir." he said in his friendliest tone. "New around here? The city can be a bit confusing at first."
It have been a warm day, the sun shining the birds singing and the commotion on the street, full of life. The perfect day for taking a break from all your worries and troubles, or was it? The only mistake so far that Jaina, have did was to come in the city to relax, but from the moment she arrived only troubles followed her. First it was the guards they, demanded to search her pack due to suspicions of illegal imports. Then some thief tried to rob her, but gladly he was slow and her elemental was able to catch him and bring back the stolen money. But since she was good, she gave the thief few coins because she, knew how badly is to need money and don’t have them. After that Jaina, headed toward the library to try to find any reference, if there was some to go home.
But on the way she sat at a bench, and placed the pack, and then she carefully removed the warp that was around her eyes, and threw it away. Though her blue eyes still could not see, she no longer wanted to wear this bandage, so she dumped it. After that Jaina, felt as if a burden have been removed from her, and it felt good, no good as when she was able to see, but it was fair enough.
Then she stood up and took her pack, and again headed toward the library. After few minutes a pleasant smell began to tease her, and it was getting stronger as she walked toward the library. When Jaina, was at the source, she decided to have some, and when she reached to take her coins some commoner shoved her, and the coins strew on the ground. When that occurred, she ducked and tried to collect as much as she could, but it was very hard, since she was blind and could not see where they fell.
