Title: Traveling wanderer
Ploay - January 24, 2006 10:25 PM (GMT)
As she looked for a boat to ride to Haudhiaur Island, she saw a merchant. The merchant was rugged looking with a bushy and dirty beard. The merchant was shouting at a thief who was stealing gold from him. "Stop thief!" The merchant screamed. Ploay, who was a pretty fast , ran after the thief. 'Maybe I can get something from the merchant if I catch his little problem' she thought as she quickly caught up with the thief. They started to run side by side scaring the seagulls on the dock. As the seagulls were fluttering away, Ploay and the thief ran into them, slowing them down. Ploay accidently swallowed a few seagull feathers that almost choked her. She reached out and grabbed the shoulder of the thief with her right hand. Having only one eye open because a feather was blocking her other eye. She then felt a piercing pain on her right hand and felt a twinkle of hot blood running from the back of her hand to her palm. As soon as she could see clearer, the thief had jabbed a good part of his knife in her hand. She jerked her hand away letting the thief go free. The thief turned to her and was about to stab her in the shoulder. She backed up two feet so she could unsheathe her katana tied to her waist. But the thief started to dash away. ‘Not again’ she thought. She chased after the thief and he didn’t get too far. Ploay unsheathed her katana and cut the bottom of the bag that the thief was carrying making all the gold fall out. But the thief wasn’t about to run empty handed. The thief bent down to pick up some of the gold but only a handful. The thief ran off and Ploay muttered to herself, “thieves...”
She turned back around to the merchant who was running towards her. The merchant carried a bag and started to stuff the gold in his bag. “So what do I get?” Ploay asked.
“For what?” The merchant questioned with an annoyed look on his face
“For trying to stop that thief.”
“Yeah trying is the key word, you didn’t stop him though.” The merchant snorted at her.
Ploay pondered if she should kill him or just let it go. Ploay said, “Look I did the best I could...”
The merchant ignored her. She was starting to get angry when a fishermen walked up to her and asked, “is your wound okey friend?” Ploay blinked and almost forget about her hand. And remembering it only brought back the pain. She saw a middle age human with a few wrinkles on his face“Well it was until you said something “friend” of mine.” Ploay said sarcastically. The fisherman smiled and told her his name was Ryan. Ryan seemed like a good person to her so she asked him for help getting her stab wound treated.
Ryan took out a bandage a wrapped it around her hand. “Its still going to sting a little.” Ploay nodded. “So what are you doing here?” She grinned at him, “I like to travel and I was thinking about going to this Island I’ve been hearing about.” Ryan thought for a moment and gasped, “you don’t mean Haudhiaur Island? You’ll be killed, or worse!” Ploay was silent for a moment wondering what could be worse then death. ‘Slow death maybe?’ she thought to herself. “I will go, I don’t get frighten so easily.” Ryan sighed and knew he couldn’t stop her. “I’m getting old and I need to get rid of my boat. The wife doesn’t like me out on those open seas so far away, ya know? So if you’d like you can use my boat to get to the Island.”
Ploay stepped in the white small boat and untied the rope. “Before you go take this.” Ryan handed her a map to the island. Ploay started the boat and the boat gently pulled away from the dock. On the back of the map and showed her how to drive it. She lifted the sail and went on her way at a steady pace. The farther she went out the quieter the seagull got because she was getting farther away from land. A few hours later it was getting tiring and nothing seemed to be happing. That was until she saw the dark cloud hovering above her....
(How was that as my first one?)
Chrono - January 24, 2006 10:41 PM (GMT)
In her dragon form, when soaring through the air, most people thought she was a cloud. Remembering that she was hungry she decided now wasn't a bad time to catch fish. Now she doen't catch fish the way most people do. She dives into the water and catches them with her teeth. Detransforming and diving into the water only to Change into a water dragon she had a hard time finding fish. Going back up for air she caused a large wave that hit the small boat causing it to tip over. Seeing someone strugling to get up for air she did what she felt she had to do. Swimming underneath this person she carried it up to the surface of he water so it could breath. "Sorry about that." She said still in water dragon form.
(Wow. thats a lot. Good job. I'm not even going to try to top that.)
Ploay - January 24, 2006 11:51 PM (GMT)
Ploay coughs up the salty water. The quick movement from the boat tipping over and being carried up to the surface made her very dizzy. At first she wonders what she is sitting on so she look down and she sees herself being on top of a water dragon. She hears from the water dragon, “sorry about that.” Ploay has never seen a water dragon before and starts to wonder if she is seeing things from being at sea so long. Still dizzy from the confusion she asks the stranger, “who are you...what are you?” And she asks to herself, ‘how am I going to get to the island now?’ She lightly chuckles in pity of herself. Laughing at her own misfortune is a good way for her to let things go. And sitting on a talking thing really isn’t the most enjoyable thing in the world for her. But she is grateful for not drowning.
Chrono - January 25, 2006 06:06 AM (GMT)
She frowned in her mind. This person most likely didn't like her. "My name is Chrono. I'm a half dragon, and you're my breakfast." She looked at the shock on this girls face and laughed. "Just kidding. Where are you heading? I'll give you a lift there." Watching the girl point out an island in the distance she gave her one warning. "Hang on tight." She motioned one of her spins for this person to grab onto. Taking off at speeds that surpassed any boat, They soon arived at the island. "Ok rides over." Letting her get off she walked onto land and detransformed. "So Ploay. What is your bussiness in this gloomy place."
Ploay - January 25, 2006 02:18 PM (GMT)
She walked on the white sandy beach to get out of the water. The sand felt pretty good, how it was wet yet warm. ‘Well that the last time I’m going swimming’. Water by itself was unpleasant, knowing that your in water is one thing but know knowing how deep it is was a scary thought. Not to mention she just recently got over the fear of water. When she was younger she almost drowned. She started to squeeze her clothing inch by inch to stop dripping water so much. The warmness helped a lot and soon she was pretty dry. Some of the water that went up her nose was unpleasant, salt water really isn’t the most best drink especially though your nose. The salt in her nose made her nose feel kinda raw so she sneezed. Next was to get the water out of her ears. She saw the other girl say something but could hardly hear her. Ploay took her left hand and started to beat her ears lightly to get the water out and the sound back in. ‘I wonder why this half-dragon helped me to land’ Ploay wondered to herself. “Could you please repeat that?” Chrono said, “So Ploay what is your business in the gloomy place?” Ploay was silent for awhile. ‘What am I doing here besides traveling?’ She asked herself. Then she smiled at Chrono, “thank you for helping me.” Ploay was still wondering how in the world Chrono knew her name.
In a way Ploay felt a little odd, not just anyone helps out a stranger. And Ploay was starting to have respect for Chrono. “Well to answer your question. I am here because this place interested me. See, I love adventure.” Ploay grinned at Chrono but just as Chrono was about to speak, Ploay heard foot steps coming closer...
Chrono - January 25, 2006 08:05 PM (GMT)
She looked at the monster that was slowly coming over. "Well well. It lookes like we have some uninvited company. I think you should get behind me if you don't know how to fight." She ran up the the monster and sliced into bits. "Well that was easy. Adventure huh? Well I hope your strong because The monsters here get stronger as you go in. Want me to come along?"
Ploay - January 25, 2006 10:51 PM (GMT)
With a dumbfounded look on Ploay’s face she held in a chuckle. She knew how to fight a little but that monster seemed too strong for her. She felt a great strength coming from this new person. The wind lightly blow her bang’s back and she answered Chrono, “Sure you can come with, but lets share the killings next time, alright?”
Ploay started to walk ahead. The island seemed to get hotter and Ploay knew she needed to get stronger...somehow. ‘If only someone could teach me some basic fighting techniques, then I wouldn’t have to worry about being killed.’ She crossed her arms in front of her chest then turned her head to Chrono, “sure you wanna come with me?” Ploay was glad she met someone new to back her up on her journey. She smiled softly in her mind but didn’t show her emotion to Chrono. Showing emotion was bad for Ploay. Every time she would let loose her emotions every thing seemed to get out of control.
Orgauth - January 25, 2006 11:12 PM (GMT)
Chrono - January 25, 2006 11:13 PM (GMT)
"Sure I'll go with you." She held her index finger out. "On one condition though." There was a puzzled look on this girls face. "When we leave the island you have to let me take you out on a date." She wraped an arm around her new friends shoulder. "Don't worrie I'll teach you how basic sword skills. We're going to have fun"
Orgauth - January 25, 2006 11:15 PM (GMT)
Chrono may i join your campain
Ploay - January 26, 2006 05:27 AM (GMT)
She blushes and blinks a little, "um, well, you see I'm not really into dating or anything like that. and when I want to give it a try, if I ever do it would be with a male angel most likely, but hopeful we can still be friends. And we could still go out on a date but it would be just an outing between friends. Is that okey? I understand if you want to stop talking to me and not teach me how to fight. I'm sure I'll make it.” Ploay softly smiles. Ploay feels kinda awkward about talking about dating. Yet is somewhat flattered . “I’m sorry.”
Chrono - January 26, 2006 06:16 AM (GMT)
(Its not really mine. ^_^)
She blinked. "Heavens no I didn't mean a date date. I really ment a friendly outing." She smiled. She gave it a shot. Thats what mattered to her. "Ok lets get going. I'll teach you on the way. Where would you be without me." They started walking.
Ploay - January 26, 2006 06:51 AM (GMT)
(sure Orgauth join the fun any time)
Ploay sighed in relief and happy to know she didn’t lose a friend. Losing pals was not joyful. She felt at peace walking side by side with a new friend. Ploay laughed in her head at the comedy that she just went though. She took a deep breath and smelled the ocean air. “So, teach me the basic’s my friend. Before I met another monster unprepared.” Ploay slowly pulled out her katana then rested the back of the blade of her shoulder.
The sandy beach was getting more grassier and more rockier. They were starting to get deeper in the island. Ploay heard a racket in the trees. Animals in such were being very loud. Ploay put her hand in her pocket and stopped to look up in the trees. ‘I feel that there is danger coming’ she thought to herself. “Chrono, don’t you think that you feel something? My intuition tells me that those animals are being loud for a reason."
Chrono - January 26, 2006 07:28 AM (GMT)
"Don't worrie about it. There's nothing on this island stronger than I am, and those animals are just weird." They came to a clearing. Looking around she smiled. "This seems like a good spot. I will have to warn you. I don't like slackers and I'll do my best to get you in fighting condition."
Ploay - January 26, 2006 07:39 AM (GMT)
She stops at the spot and is more relaxed that she is pretty much safe around her new pal. "Okey, what do you want me to do?" Ploay questioned her. "By the way, I don't slack off." Smirks at her. Then she took a frim stance. Her eyes wide and waiting for her teacher/friend to tell her what to do.
She couldn't wait until she could get stronger. 'I wonder what she is going to show me. To be able to take monsters out in this island she mst have great strenght in her.' Ploay thought. She held out her katana out in front of her in case she was suppose to use it.
Chrono - January 26, 2006 07:55 AM (GMT)
"Now all I want you to do is come at me with everything you've got." She took a perfect defence stance and waited. Blocking her pupils first blow with releative ease she triped her new friend. "Now where was the flaw in your attack."
Ploay - January 26, 2006 09:34 PM (GMT)
She remembered running towards her new friend. She had her katana lifted high and ready to swing. Soon the closer she got, the more worried she was. Her new friend Chrono wasn’t moving at all. Then Ploay felt one of her legs go back. She started to go to the ground. Her head banged on soft dirt.
Ploay got on her hands and knees and slowly stood up. Still a little dizzy from hitting her head. The ground felt hard when she hit it. She started to think back on what she just did. ‘Okey so I was running towards her. What did I do wrong?’
She heard Chrono say. "Now where was the flaw in your attack." Ploay blinked at her. ‘I am so bad that I can get tripped so easily?’ Ploay said to herself. She felt bad because feel to the ground so quickly. “I think I should have stood my ground until you attacked. That way I could have known your fighting style, so I would have a some sort of small advantage?” Ploay asked her teacher.
The wind softly blew again. And made Ploay’s hair get in front of her eyes. So Ploay ran her fingers in her hair. Then wrapped her hair in a bun then pulled it back except the for the bangs. ‘Maybe some time soon I need to cut my hair.’ She said to herself.
Loriauna Blazenoak - January 26, 2006 10:37 PM (GMT)
"How odd...Chrono is teaching a dear girl..." Silently, the figure came from the shadows, smiling ever so slightly. Her aura cold and look frightening, she could easily be mistaken for one of evil alignment. This was not true at all...she fought who she wished on her own terms. Determining friends and foes because of alignment seemed rather insolent to the half-dragon.
With icy eyes watching the two of them in an emotionless fashion, Loriauna analyzed the new girl. A celestial...a rather weak one though. Not much of an archangel...a quick scan with telepathy made the girl's name obvious enough. Even without telepathy, Loriauna could practically see it etched on the girl's forehead. Celestials had a bad habit of being unable to hide their auras and, therefore, their names. "Ploay, correct?" The words came out as more of a statement then a queston, her voice cold, crisp, and rather emotionless.
Ploay - January 27, 2006 12:56 AM (GMT)
Before Chrono could say anything Ploay heard another voice. The voice sounded so blank and cold. As if the voice belong to someone who had no emotion. ‘Emotionless, interesting.’ Ploay thought to herself.
She stopped training and looked to where the voice came from. She saw another girl. She had such pale green eyes. Ploay wondered why this stranger wanted with her. She guessed that she was reading her mind. Ploay was silent and just looked at her with her own light blue eyes.
She put her katana back in its sheath. “Yes?” Ploay asked the stranger. Ploay waited and listened. Ploay bit her lip and stood there watching the new girl.
Chrono - January 27, 2006 07:42 AM (GMT)
She stared into the cold eyes of Loriauna. Showing no emotion herself she spoke. "What are you doing here Lori?" She griped her sword tight and pulled out her axe. "Are you here to interogate me some more?" She looked at Loriauna for any reason to attack. She armed evervation just in case. "You may stay but keep away from me. I have nothing more to say to you."
Roshnak - January 27, 2006 08:07 AM (GMT)
From the bushes he sits back and watchs ,being a demon he feels me might not get the warmest of welcome from an angel and two half-dragons."Well now this is interesting seems like the angel is still in training and the half-dragons don't seem to friendly with each other" he thinks to himself."Well alittle pain never stopped me before if it did I wouldn't be a black knight I might aswell say hello" he decides as he steps out of the bushs. "Hello I hope I am not interrupting anything."
Loriauna Blazenoak - January 27, 2006 02:53 PM (GMT)
"I only ask for truth. If you won't give it to me, what says you'll give truth to this girl or anyone else either..." Loriauna looked to the girl. "You should be wary. This woman was once a male friend of mine...now she is just a lying woman who is overdramatic and possibly manic." She just stood there, her lean frame rather intimidating in a cold, withheld power sort of way.
She had nothing against the celestial girl...it was Chrono she was more than wary of.
Ploay - January 27, 2006 03:16 PM (GMT)
Ploay stood there wondering what in the world was going on. She thought that maybe she was about to become in the middle of a fight. She didn’t care for fighting. It felt so useless to her. She looked at the girl then back at Chrono. The awkward gut feeling was coming on again. She was about to say something but she remembered that a demon just spoke.
She looked at the demon who was hiding in the bushes. He was a very short and skinny little thing. ‘Well he isn’t much of a threat.’ She thought to herself. She lightly smirked at the demon. Ignoring the two other girls who seemed to be at each others neck. Ploay walked over to the demon. “Well I think you are interrupting something, but its alright.” She talked to the demon in a soft manner. She looked into his eyes and wondered what he was doing here. “Ploay by the way.” She said to him.
She looked back at the two girls. She wasn’t quiet sure why these two half-dragons were fighting about. She kinda knew Chrono was manly but never thought she was a he. Feeling more awkward she stood out of the way. Ploay kinda liked the new girl she saw. But if she showed that she knew she may loose a friend.
She bit her lip and watched, and waited. The wind didn’t blow, it was as if every thing was still. She body was stiff and yet her mind was wandering around.
Chrono - February 5, 2006 08:22 AM (GMT)
She glared at Lori which quickly became a smirk, and then a smile. "You can call me all the names you want...I probably do deserve it, but you know? You really should think through all sides of the story before making claims like that...and then going into a state of low depression after being bested by the one you insulting." She layed down on the grass and closed her eyes. "I'm taking a nap, don't you dare try any funny bussiness or you'll be sorry."
Ploay - February 6, 2006 02:47 AM (GMT)
Chrono looked like she was going to sleep. The archangel guessed that their would be no more training. It looked like she was on her own. She nodded to the demon then waved at the other half-dragon. The sun was bright and there was no cloud in the sky. It was spirit lifting. The sand was beautiful and the archangel started to run to shore. As soon as she saw that she was far enough out she changed into her angel form.
She made sure no one was behind her. If someone was near then she may not have changed. She spread her silver wings. Then started to take off. Up in the air Ploay could feel the wind tingling her wings. She was happy as sh went though to sky. “Well I guess I’ll have to put my adventures on hold for now.” She said to herself as she felt the cool breeze. She flew farther and farther away untill the people on the islind could only see a dot.
