Takoda wandered down to the lake and smiled at the sheer beauty of it. She decided to go for a swim so took off her dress, placing it with her things in a small pile, tucking one of her throwing knives into a small belt pocket. She wore only an old loose black shirt and torn skirt which barely reached mid thigh and a belt to keep her knife in. She hid her things under a bush where no one would see them. She wasn't game enough to go fully naked and was wary of strangers walking by.

She climbed up onto a high rock and dived gracefully into the cool clear water, coming up for air after touching the bottom, picking up a small pebble as solid proof that she could do it. She smiled to herself as she came up and began swimming in slow lazy circles. It was peaceful and quiet. Just like when she used to sit up in the mountains of home. Nothing but wildlife surrounding her.

Sareion was walking through the forest on a mid-day strool; when he heard a splash in the lake and decieded to check it out. When he arrived he sawl Takoda swimming and decieded to join her takeing all of his clothing off but some shorts and hoped in. He quickly swam over to her. But kept his distance just incase she was naked "Hey there Takoda! how are you today?" Sareion smiled and looked her in the eyes

Takoda almost threw the knife at Sareion, thinking it was someone else. She stopped herself just in time, the knife resting loosely in her hand. She placed it back into its sheath and smiled.

"Hey!" she yelled, swimming over to where Sareion was. "I'm fine. I thought you were still up in the tavern though."

Sareion watched as Takoda pulled a nife out and began to throw it but stoped. It seemed when it came down to it she could defend herself. But sareion figured he would make sure she never had to fight ever again. She Yelled hey and swam closer to sareion. Sareion quckly gave her a hug and replied to him still being in the tavern with "Ha, nope couldn't find you so i took off for my usualy walk. Then i heard this splash." Sareion looked into to her eyes and smiled again. "Anyway, what are you doing out her by your self. I mean how am I to protect you if your running off" Sareion smiled and laughed then waited for a reply

Takoda laughed and hugged him back.

"Hmm... I like being alone." she said with a cheeky grin. "Its nice. As a kid I used to always run off into the hill's at home, playing my harp to the wildlife around me. Maybe you should teach me how to defend myself, so when I do run off you don't have to worry about me."

She laughed and swam away from him.

Sareion smiled at the comment about her likeing to be alone and she used to do it as a kid. "Well, if you wish I can leave? I will just watch from afar make sure nothing happens." she then made another comment about me teaching her to defend herself "Well, If I did that now you really wouldn't need me would you." Sareion laughed and watched as she swam away.

Takoda swam back over to him.

"I don't want you to go though." she said and kissed him softly on the lips. "Besides I'll still need you, even though I would be able to defend myself. Your my Knight."

She smiled and swam away to the edge of the lake. Dripping water, the shirt she was wearing slid down her arm a little to reveal her smooth tanned shoulder. She climbed up the rock again and dived in elegantly. She loved this place and swimming around in the cool water. She discovered diving was rather fun too. She laughed and looked over to where Sareion was.

"So, will you teach me?" she asked, swimming back over to him.

Sareion smiled as Takoda swam back over to him. "I don't wont you to go though." Sareion smiled "then I will stay." She then kissed him softy on the lips and Sareion kiss her back. She spoke again to Sareion saying "Besides I'll still need you, even though I would be able to defend myself. Your my Knight." Sareion smiled "Well, Then thats good to know." He watched as she swam away to the edge of the lake. She got out and her shirt slid down revealing her shoulder. She then climbed back up the rock and dived in. It was a Elegant Dive. She really seem to like the lake. she then laughed and looked towards sareion. and asked if he would teach her. Sareion smiled and replied with "Sure, I sapouse I could"

"You suppose?" Takoda laughed, splashing water at him. "How about we change that into a defenite yes, as if you really want to?"

She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"So hows about it?" she asked softly, licking his nose playfully.

Takoda laughed saying you sapouse then splashed water at sareion. she then said "How about we change that into a defenite yes, as if you really want to?" Sareion laughed. He then smiled at her. She then wrapped her arms around the back of his neck with a mischievous glint in her eyes and said So hows about it?" and licked him "Alright its a defenite yes then." he then passionitly kissed her on the lips. Well her tounge was still out LOL

Takoda laughed and pulled her tounge back in. She then swam away from him with a cheeky smile.

"You have to earn those!" she said. "You can do that by teaching me how to defend myself."

She swam to the edge of the lake and stepped out, moving silently over to where her things were hidden. She then moved into a shrowded spot where she could change out of her wet clothes and into some loose pants and a dry shirt. She walked out from behind the cover with her hair tied back into a wet ponytail and a grin spread across her lips.

"Oh, hurry up!" she called.

Takoda laughed pulling her tounge back in and gave Sareion a cheeky smile. "You have to earn those!" she said. "You can do that by teaching me how to defend myself." Sareion laughed "Can do!" Takoda swam to the edge of the lake and stepped out. She then moved into a shrowded spot where she could change out. She walked out from behind the cover with her hair tied back into a wet ponytail and a grin spread across her lips.

"Oh, hurry up!" she called. Sareion Laughed and swam over there fast "Comeing Darling"

(My character is not naked! She is wearing pants and a loose shirt! *lol*)

Takoda laughed.

"So, what shall you be teaching me first?" she asked as he swam over to where she was standing.

She watched him swim over with strong swift strokes and smiled to herself. This was going to be fun, and with Sareion as her trainer, she knew she was going to get some serious perving moments.

Sareion got out of the water drying himself off. "I sapouse I can teach you how to swing a sword properly." Sareion walked over to were she was standing and stood behind her. He unsheathed his sword and put it in her hands. He showed her how to swing it left to right and up to down useing the push pull method. "Now when you swing your sword you wont to pull the bottom with your left hand and push the top with your right. But only if you really wont to hurt someone. For now you just haft to swing it." Sareion let go of the sword letting her hold it on her own. "now swing it some and when your ready swing at me and ill show you some counter techs and dodge." Sareion smiled watching her.

Takoda grinned in excitement as Sareion began showing her how to use a sword. She moved the sword the way he had showed her and watched as it carved through the air. It was rather heavy but she got used to the wieght after a little while. She then turned to Sareion with a questioning look.

"Swing at you?" she asked, shocked and unsure if she had heard correctly. "But... but..."

She trailed off. He wanted her to swing a sword at him! Was he nuts? She could barely hold it, let alone swing it at him. What if something went wrong? This was the first time she had ever held a sword.

then all of a sudden, Adrion appears out of nowwhere and says "You are doing good, as a beginner. I am The head vampire and we are being brutally murdered by a vampire hunter. his name is savore. besides being the head vampire i am also the most skilled and most dangerous of our kind. and i have one question for you and i was wondering if you would like to hear it?

Takoda looked up in surprise and almost dropped the sword.

"V... vampire?" she stammered, stepping closer to Sareion. "W...what... question?"

This was the last thing she had been expecting and she was too stunned to do much at all.

The one and only question I have for you is if you would like me to train you? Oh By the way I'm Adrian nice to meet you

Sareion walked in front of Takoda to protect her. He stood partially in front of here. "I am her husband. I think it would be best if i taught her." Sareion glarred at him in the eyes "Anyway, If you are so scared of Savore. Then what could you teach her that I couldn't teach better." Sareion smiled then turned back to Takoda "Yeah, You heard me correct swing the sword at me. I' am going to make sure your swinging right, Don't worry ill dodge it. Just testing them skills." Sareion stood there waiting for a reply.

Takoda looked at Sareion wondering what the hell he was trying to pull! Here was a vampire and all he was worried about was showing how much better he was!

"WHAT!?!" she cried. "Are you crazy?"

She hefted the sword and swung at him clumsily and then proceeded to glare at him. She dropped the sword and drew a throwing knife and threw it right at him, barely missing his left ear and landing in the trunk of a tree behind him with a thunk. Her hands flew to her mouth in shock.

"I... I... I'm so sorry." she stammered.

That's all right. And i will not fight you unless you attack first. And if i were you i would think again. that is because I have savore in a dungeon being interegated as we speak. I just would like to teach your wife.

Takoda wondered what was so special about her, that this vampire would wish to teach her.

"Why?" she asked, walking over to Sareion and pulling out the knife from the tree behind him.

She checked his ear just to make sure nothing was harmed and then smiled at him apologetically, returning her gaze to the Adrian.

"Becuase i can sense a special force in you that will help us vampires from being wiped out of the history of this entire world" Said adrian " It is said in our scriptures that there will be someone with a talent for the sword that will bring security to the vampires and will make sure that there are laws protecting us from vampire hunters. There are only 500 of us including me and we live a tough life trying to run from the hunters and feeding and trying to get our numbers back to what they use to be." Then Adron got on his knees and bowed to Takoda and said something yet unknown to man. " I have been searching for hundreds of years trying to find you and now that i have it's your choice, help us...... or you can kill me now and i will not stop you and the entire vampire race will be gone forever. The choice is up to you and you alone." Said adrion. and as he said this he took he sword off of his belt and laid it aat the feet of Takoda and backed up.

Takoda stood stunned. She glanced at Sareion in confusion and turned back to Adrian, shaking her head and stepping back away from the sword.

"N... no. You.. you must be mistaken. I... I am a bard." she stammered. "I... I can barely lift a sword let alone use one."

The weight of his words hit her and tears formed in her dark eyes.

No! she thought, still shaking her head. No! This is just a dream. It isn't real.

" no, I am not mistaken, I hardly ever make mistakes and if I do, I fix them." said adrion " And That is the reason why you are the one, you can't lift the sword, with your husband and I we can get you to accomplish things that are so powerful, that everyone will see your grace and will remember you through the ages and will never be forgotten." Then he swiftly walked over to takoda and proceeded to take her sword and her hands, and showed her the perfect way to hold the sword. " Now with this postpn, you can attack protect and possibly kill anything that can harm you." Said adrion. then he went over to her husband and then showed the teqnigue he learned for throwing daggers. "Now, both of you, attack me one at a time and i will try to defend myself from you."

Sareion Dropped the Dagger "I need no teachings from you vampire. Why, Should we help you fiend?" Sareion looked at him with great anger Sareion looked at the man with pity then turned away; and walked over to Takoda. He hardly noticed what he said, it would surely give away his true age. And as soon as he realized all he could do was hope. Hope she would not abandon him like the rest. Sareion pointed to himself and spoke in a low voice. A depressed one [color=ghostwhite]"Anyway, There is nothing you could teach her that I surely couldn't." Sareion then Walked over and stood in front of Takoda to protect her. "Leave us alone you pest. We surely have alot to think about for now. And if she decides to help you then. We will find you."

Takoda had not moved. She was completely and utterly rooted to the spot. Everything was moving so fast around her. She looked on as if detached from her body, watching as Adrian took her hands and placed them on the sword, watching as Sareion stood in front of her, to protect her from some unknown force that was trying to take a hold of her.

Adrian seemed to need her so desperately but she loved Sareion and did not want to lose him. What if Adrian was speaking the truth though? What if they truly needed her? But why her? She was a bard not a warrior! She looked at Sareion with tears still in her eyes, shaking her head.

"They need me." she whispered. "And I don't know what to do."

She fell to the ground and sat there, staring at nothing, trying to comprehend Adrians words. She sat thinking about why the world had chosen her.

Takoda cried shakeing her head. "They need me." Takoda whispered. "And I don't know what to do." Sareion looked at her "do what you think is right." takoda fell to the ground and sat there, staring at nothing. Sareion droped to his knees and put his arms around her comforting her. He put his left hand on her head and pulled her close to him. "It's alright Takoda." Sareion loved Takoda like he loved none before. and the last thing he wanted was to lose her. he rubbed her back and tried to calm her down.

"you have a choice if you help me and if you don't then you might as well kill me now and kill the entire vampire race now and i will not stop you from doing so becuase you now have my sword and i am defenceless. so only do as you must I have no control of what you do." Said adrion "I do not mean to make this hard for you but it does say that you would be the one to save us. so like I say do as you must." Then adrion kneeled down with his back to them to give them privacy. and during his wait, he looked at his nearly severed and badly bleeding arm and started to bandage it up with much pain.

Takoda leaned into Sareion trying to come to terms with the huge weight that had been placed onto her shoulders. She knew in the end she would do it. If the vampires really needed her than she was not going to let them die. But it was so hard to accept. To be responsible for all those lives was a hard thing to swallow. She looked up at Sareion with a smile, and wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Will you promise to never leave me?" she asked softly, pleading with her eyes.

She needed his support, she needed to know that he would follow her. Because he was the only thing standing in her way, the fear that he would turn his back on her.

She had listened to Adrians words and had felt them sink in. She had a choice, yes. But to her it was no choice. She would never let anyone die if there was a chance of saving them. She could not live with the knowledge that it was her fault that they had died. But then if Sareion left than she would be left empty, with nothing. She looked over at Adrian kneeling with his back turned to them and waited for Sareion's reply silently.

Takoda leaned into Sareion then looked up at him and wiped her tears away. "Will you promise to never leave me?" she asked softly, pleading with her eyes. He smiled at her and spoke in a calm and caring voice "I promise, I would never leave you. I would follow you to the ends of earth if I had too."

Sareion looked her straight in the eyes and gave her a half-smile "Anyway, I couldn't leave you if I tried" Sareion giggled "If you wish to help him, I will honor your decision. And I shall protect you." Sareion then turned to Adrion "If she does help you. IF! I wont let her do any fighting. Her being there should be inspiration enough. Instead I shall fight in her place."

Sareion looked back at Takoda "I wont let you stain your hands with blood. War is no place for you. There is no honor in war." Sareion then hugged her tightly and kissed her "If I saw someone hurt you. I don't know what I would do. And if you died I would go insane. This is why I must defend you. Because I love you too much to lose you." Sareion then stood up putting his hands in hers. "The choice is yours, I promise I will be their no matter what you choose."

Tears fell down Takoda's already tear streaked face and she smiled at Sareion in such relief and joy that words escaped her. She stood with him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I love you." she whispered in his ear.

She leaned back with a smile and then turned to the Vampire Adrion. She walked over to where he was kneeling and placed her hand lightly on his shoulder.

"I will help you." she said. "I will do whatever needs to be done to save your kind. I promise. Even if it means I must fight."

She looked over at Sareion as she said this and held her head a little higher with determination. She would at least try. She told him with her eyes that she had to do this. Her tears betraying her fear of dying but also taking life and losing him if she did not attempt to learn. She looked down at Adrion and waited for him to respond.

Takoda stood up with Sareion she cried more then whispered in his ear "I love you." Sareion smiled "I love you too." But before he knew it she was already over talking to the Vampire. She told him she would help him and that she would fight it seemed as though she was just trying to make him mad. Sareion grinned and laughed "Well, it seems I will be doing two times as much work now. I can't let them hurt you." Sareion walked up behind her and hugged her from behind. Then wiped her tears away. "there is no need to cry my love. At least not well I am alive."

"And how long will that be for?" Takoda asked softly, leaning into his hug and closing her eyes. "Until I die? Will you follow me in life and then come after me in death?"

He wiped away her tears and she once again felt safe with his love wrapping around her like a physical barrier between her and the cold world around her. She felt a fear rise up in her heart but pushed it back down, telling herself that he would not die, he couldn't, not while she needed him.

Sareion smiled "And how long will that be for?" She asked "Until I die? Will you follow me in life and then come after me in death?" Sareion smiled kissing her on the neck "For eternity. I will follow you in life and I shall continue after death." Sareion knew he couldn't bare to live without her. He could hardly believe he was able to before he found her. He knew that if she died, his heart would surely stop beating. And nothing could make him live. Not even his curse, nor could any god.

Takoda melted into his embrace and smiled. She felt tingles run down her spine as he kissed her neck and turned to feel his lips on her own. She leaned her body against his and wrapped her arms around his neck, standing on tip toe to reach. She smiled against his soft mouth and wove fingers into his dark hair and purred teasingly.

"How did you find me?" she whispered against his lips.

Sareion guided his hands down her spine to her butt picking her up, and sliding her legs around his waste. He kissed her passionately on the lips once more before he spoke. "Well, I am a wander. I used to wander this land aimlessly. But then I found you, you gave me a reason to live. Something to fight for."

Sareion smiled at her and looked into her eyes "That night when we met, I had been wandering through a near by forest. I was lost, it just so happens I was trespassing on Thieves Guild territory. They attacked me with no warning leaving that nice wound in my side. It was raining hard that night. I couldn't even tell I had been hit. About day break was when I noticed the bleeding. I could hardly make off a town in the distance."

Sareion sighed "I figured I would just drink the pain away. when I got to the town, the first thing I did was seek out the Tavern. I had totally lost it; I was ready to give up. Just give up on life all together. I couldn't go on fighting any more. The last thing I remembered was passing out in the Tavern. I woke up to the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I figured it was my guardian angel. But then I found out it was something better you."

Sareion looked deeper into her eyes "You gave me something to live for. You gave me life again. I believe fate led us to meet." Sareion then looked at her and gave a haft-smile "How did you come to find me?"

Takoda smiled adoringly at Sareion and kissed him on the nose.

"You found me." she whispered. "You fell into the chair next to mine, or do you not remember?"

She laughed and grinned cheekily at him. Her golden brown eyes shining with happiness.

"I was but a bard, travelling the world. I came upon the tavern after travelling for a few days and decided to try my luck and then you came along and... I don't know. You made me feel safe but I also just wanted to protect you. I don't know what from but, the feeling seemed to take a hold and I began to take care of you, as if you were already mine." she said softly. "Nothing seemed to matter so much as keeping you by my side."

She rubbed her nose against his, and looked into his eyes with so much love she would have died if he had of left her then.

"And there is a thing you should know about me before you go on this mission. I am not the head vampire and if i get killed the vampire reace will not be destroyed. but what i say is true about you being the one who will save us. I was just a decoy for those who want to kill us" Said adrion " so if you want to still save us just say so and we will get moving, there are spys everywhere."

Takoda turned her gaze from Sareion and looked at Adrion who had been silent for quite some time. She smiled and nodded her head.

"I still wish to help you." she replied. "If I am who you say I am, I can only try."

She looked around her at the trees nervously as he said their were spies everywhere.
