Title: Destined Meeting
Description: [P]Umbra Only[P]

Hanzo_Hattori - November 22, 2007 12:05 AM (GMT)
Night had set in the great city of Lómëdor, the streets lit up only by the few lights in the homes of some people that were still awake as well as those who were of course still drinking to their hearts content within the bars. As the nightlife continued on as usual one man was perched on top of one of the many buildings of the city, just looking on at what was happening while also waiting for a specific person to leave the bar. This mans name was Hanzo Hattori, although more people in Arda knew him by the codename Devil of Daybreak. Hanzo was an expert assassin and even though he was a member of B.A.D.I he was sent on missions to kill certain targets almost everyday, on that his target was a rather large half demon that was guilty of killing over thirty small children.

Keeping his eyes fixed onto the door of the bar Hanzo slowly took his Star Shooter bow from his back and got ready to kill his mark. The Devil of Daybreak, which he was named as for mainly killing his targets at daybreak, was wearing his usual armour that was mainly red in colour. The breastplate, gauntlets, helm, bracers and boots were all red however his chest armour was always covered up by a sleeveless that buckled in the middle. He also wore a pair of white pants that were formed from a Cloak of Neutrality which protected the Barbarian from various effects, on each wrist Hanzo wore a large silver bangle each of them increasing his power slightly while the rings he wore on his fingers granted him with many different magical abilities. Even though his armour and accessories gave him certain powers Hanzo was far more gifted in the art of physical combat as he had many years training with different kinds of weapons. Infact weapon wise Hanzo had on his person his bow, two powerful blades of destruction strapped to his waist as well as a skilful katar on each of his legs ready to be used when he needed them most.

Cracking his neck Hanzo felt himself growing somewhat bored of waiting for his mark, and to his luck that was when the fool decided to leave the bar and head home. With a smirk growing over his lips the Devil of Daybreak said in a dark toned voice, “Time to get this job done, you won’t be killing anymore children you bastard!” Pulling back the string of his bow, that had no arrow set within it, Hanzo took aim of the demonic fool below him. Suddenly several sparkling lights appeared where the arrow would have been in the bow and Hanzo sharply let go of the bowstring. The forms of light sped towards the demon at great speed, such speed infact that he did not know he was being attacked until all four of the blasts of light had ripped through his chest area. One of the blasts had burst the demons heart on impact, killing him of course, and as the corpse fell to the ground like a lifeless doll Hanzo could clearly see the pool of blood around his body. His smirk faded and instantly the Barbarian placed his bow back onto his back and stood up to his full height of six feet nine inches.

Picking his cloak up from the roof he was on and wrapping it over his shoulders, the cloak being a Winters Embrace and giving Hanzo the power of ice, Hanzo started getting himself ready to leave the bar rooftop area and head back towards the his room within B.A.D.I as well as see if he had any other upcoming marks to take off. The life of an Assassination Expert was never a dull one after all, however as he was about to teleport away Hanzo felt as though he was being watched. With this feeling falling over him Hanzo wrapped his hands around the hilt of his swords and just waited in order to find out what or whom this strange feeling was coming from.

((OOC: Not a great start but it will get better  ))

Umbra - November 23, 2007 05:30 AM (GMT)
Laughter, yelling, loud noises. All common things you find at a bar. Everyone seemed to be quite happy or angry right now as a young woman watched a man from the corner of her eye as she simply waited to make a move. ‘So you are the monster? Well I hope you enjoyed your last meal, it will be you last.’ She thought as she watched her target leave the bar. This man was a half demon who devoured children, over thirty at the last count, she was sickened by the thought of this man getting away with such things, and the fact he was still alive? He would die tonight. She gritted her teeth as he walked out and looked around; did he know she could hear his blood pulsing quickly? She leaned her head back in her chair and turned to the window laying payment for her drink on the table. Looking out the window she narrowed her eyes as she disappeared from view in the bar. She found herself sitting on the roof across from where she was sitting. Pulling her silver cloak down over her holy plate armor to hide the shine she summoned a cloak of darkness to cover her so she would not be seen until the last moment. Narrowing her grey eyes she could see him sniffing the air. He was looking for the next child to walk his way.

Something caught her sense of scrying. She turned in the direction of the movement and felt someone in the darkness. A human male, she immediately smelled him as soon as she noticed his presence. She closed her eyes gave an internal sigh. She never had anything against humans, this world after all belonged to them, but sometimes once in a while they got too brave for their own good. She continued to keep an eye on this human just as she placed her hand on the hilt of Selene, her holy blade, and began to gently slide it out of its scabbard when suddenly the man moved first. She looked as four blinding lights pierced the demon. She blinked a few times, it happened so fast. She was using stealth to her advantage but this man seemed to use it to attack instead of wait and see what his opponent could do first. ‘Interesting.’ She thought as the man smiled as she replaced her sword. She looked over at the man as he packed up to leave. She watched him silently as he suddenly stopped. She perked up as he began to look around. ‘So you sense my gaze.’ She thought. Moving her hand to the side she removed her spell and stood fully in the moonlight. “So, that was quite the show.” She said clapping her hands in applause. “I probably could have done it better myself, but hey I knew what I was going up against. Guess I should at least thank you for taking care of my assignment for me.” She said as she pushed off the roof and flew in front of him hovering above the street. Giving a low bow she smiled, “I humbly thank you for finishing my assignment.” She said then stood straight and gave a nod, “The name is Umbra by the way.” She said with her half smile. Her cloak blew back in the movements of the spell revealing her holy plate armor. “First time I saw a human take down a demon in one hit. Your not half bad if I do say so myself.” She smiled.

Hanzo_Hattori - November 28, 2007 04:26 PM (GMT)
Hearing a voice, which was obviously female, talking to him Hanzo stayed perfectly still and shifted his eyes from left to right looking for the woman in question. It was now long before she appeared in front of him hovering and gave a bow to the Barbarian. Listening to her words yet still showing almost no emotion on his face Hanzo thought to himself, “Umbra huh? Don’t look half bad…Looks like she was after the same guy as me, this night just got real interesting indeed!” A smirk spread its way along the lips of the Barbarian as his left hand rested upon the hilt of his Blade of Destruction; he could see that she was hearing some type of Holy Armour and just by seeing that Hanzo knew she could not be evil. Although he knew this woman was not evil he still had a strange feeling about her, raising one of his eyebrows the Devil of Daybreak took a few steps towards the woman.

After she had finished talking Hanzo parted his lips slowly and said, “Hello their Umbra, names Hanzo Hattori. And about that guy I killed, hope you don’t mind… he was just such an easy target and I was ordered by B.A.D.I. to take him out.” With this said Hanzo slowly adjusted the armour on his body so that it secured on tightly. He was not exactly sure on what to do now with this woman there, but one thing was constantly running through the mind of the Barbarian and that was the fact this Umbra had said it was the first time she had seen a human take down a demon with one attack. With this thought constantly messing his mind Hanzo found it hard to hold himself back and then suddenly said towards Umbra, “So you think my one attack kill there was just luck hmm? Then what do you say we have a little test of skills then Miss Umbra, I am sure a such a beautiful woman as you must have some kind of battle skills. Or was that talk of me finishing your assignment just a cover up for your pathetic skills in combat?” The Devil of Daybreak knew exactly what he was saying; he was attempting to force Umbra into a small-scale battle in order to prove his skills in battle. After all a Barbarian who could not fight would be a rather useless Barbarian.

As he waited for his words to reach Umbra and for her to reply to his challenge Hanzo cracked his neck again and then placed his right hand out to his side. With a lot of concentration Hanzo used the ability of his Resplendent Retrieving Gauntlets to call upon his trusty Mithril Elemental Failure. This small shield was most likely one of Hanzo’s most powerful pieces of equipment as it had the power to reflect a lot of different spells back to their caster. With the shield now summoned Hanzo strapped it onto his left arm tightly so that he would still be able to use his Blade of Destruction in his right hand during battle. Even though Umbra had not replied yet Hanzo was very hopeful that the woman would take up his offer and battle with him, not only for Hanzo to prove his worth but also just for the fact that he was itching for a battle more than ever now! All the Devil of Daybreak had to do was wait for the fun to begin.

Umbra - December 2, 2007 08:54 PM (GMT)
The tavern had grown quiet as people went to bed; the demons body had already become ash and blew away in the wind. Umbra hovered in the air; her cloak flowed smoothly in the wind as the man walked towards her. He seemed to be quite the fighter, probably a barbarian most likely seeing as how he seemed strong enough to be one meaning he could easily take on most average people. “Hello their Umbra, names Hanzo Hattori. And about that guy I killed, hope you don’t mind… he was just such an easy target and I was ordered by B.A.D.I. to take him out.” She shrugged. “Same assignment; different group.” She said indicating to the patch on her shirt which was a crescent moon above two lines and a star. “I don’t mind, you just acted first. I was just concerned about a battle here harming innocent people seeing as how he was pretty rowdy in the tavern. But you handled it rather well. I am impressed.” She said as he adjusted his armor. “Guess I just go back and say it was taken care of already.” She replied trying to think of where she had heard about B.A.D.I. before. Oh yea... she thought after a moment. Isn’t that the guild Tanya joined? Well I know they have at least ONE competent member for her to learn from. She thought although she was not too worried seeing as how the guild was run by the Guardians of the Sun and Water.

Hanzo seemed to be pondering something and soon asked “So you think my one attack kill there was just luck hmm? Then what do you say we have a little test of skills then Miss Umbra, I am sure such a beautiful woman as you must have some kind of battle skills. Or was that talk of me finishing your assignment just a cover up for your pathetic skills in combat?” he asked. Umbra watched him as he took his eyes off of her as he strapped on a shield. Knowing he was trying to get under her skin she decided to turn the table slightly and let him know what he missed a few moments ago when he attacked. She smuged and gave a laugh as she teleported. Suddenly a dagger was placed near Hanzo’s neck as she held onto his shield arm. “Oh dear...What is this? Did a member of the B.A.D.I. just get caught off guard by taking his eyes off his opponent?” she said then teleported again to the other side of the roof a few feet away. “You seriously underestimated your opponent Hanzo. That demon you killed was merely a low grade compared to me. I had merely said that it was interesting because it is unusual for a human to take down a half demon so easily. But I am not saying that it is the same for all half demons. But if you want to take on the Captain of the Special Forces...” she said unclasping her cloak and letting it float down the roof where it came to a rest and she stood standing. She indicated to a patch on her jacket then drew her holy blade. Two beams of holy energy flew from her back and shattered into two angelic wings. “Then prepare yourself to take on the Angel of Evening. Captain Umbra of the Special Force Squad!” she smiled taking a stance.

Hanzo_Hattori - December 5, 2007 03:00 PM (GMT)
It was not long before Hanzo felt the blade of Umbra close to his neck, his teeth gritting together as he thought of just how foolish he had been to take his eyes away from her for even a second. Listening to her words the Barbarian could feel himself turning into a powerful rage. The barbarian within him needed to battle more than ever now, it had to make up for the loss in pride Hanzo had just went through. However as quickly as this Umbra had caught him off guard she was gone again, only to appear a few feet along the roof and start talking again. Locking his eyes onto her form Hanzo listened to each and every word she spoke then watched her cloak fall to the ground, followed by the woman drawing a powerful blade of life. So Umbra was some kind of Captain in some kind of Special Forces? This battle would be very interesting indeed for the Devil of Daybreak to battle the one known as Angel of Evening.

Drawing his Blade of Destruction Hanzo got ready to make his attack on Umbra, although right when he was about to attack the young Barbarian felt an odd power source course through his entire system, a power like he had never felt before. Still gritting his teeth Hanzo slowly took a step towards Umbra before saying, “This battle would have been amazing Umbra, however I get this odd feeling that something is coming after me. I mean you no real harm and so, in order to not risk your life, I am going to have to take a rain check on this battle…” Hanzo felt so useless now, he felt as though he was giving up on a chance of a lifetime but the force he was feeling was really getting to him.

With all this said to Umbra the Barbarian took in a large breath of air before leaping off in the other direction from the young woman and away from the battlefield. As he was heading away however something seemed to have taken his place at the battlefield with Umbra! A large Halberd had thundered down for the sky and pierced into the roof where Hanzo had been standing moments before, it was clear the Halberd had some kind of power within it although the one who owned it was not known, or at least not yet anyway…

((OOC: Sorry for the really sucky post, couldnt think of a good way for him to leave  Anyway, the Halberd is the one Zenith will have soon ^^ though since Hanzo has it just now I am sure it was ok to mention it  I will post as Zen right after he get his items  ))

Umbra - December 7, 2007 08:03 AM (GMT)
Umbra smirked and got ready to attack as Hanzo prepared himself, the red garbed human seemed to be quite interesting indeed after her little stunt with the dagger at his neck. The barbarian’s blood was definitely boiling right now. She could smell his anger, his fury. He smelled of anger, it fumed from his entire body. She took a stance as he stepped towards her, if he was going to run for her then she would show why she had pulled out her wings from the blade. Suddenly Hanzo stopped for a moment and looked around as Umbra felt something come closer to the duo. The wind blew and she could smell fear, anger, surprise and...and someone else nearby. She could not tell because Hanzo was radiating such strong emotions that they overpowered the new one.

“This battle would have been amazing Umbra, however I get this odd feeling that something is coming after me. I mean you no real harm and so, in order to not risk your life, I am going to have to take a rain check on this battle…” He said as he turned and lept off into another direction. She could start to feel a force, probably what scared Hanzo but it was a little off in direction. But she turned and walked off to get her cloak. Once more her cloak hid her armor and the light was not seen save a small crack where the cloth parted. She began to walk off when she heard a slicing sound hit the roof. She paused as the halberd sat quietly on the rooftop. Turning she could feel the force once more. ‘This strength...It feels so familiar. Could it really be you?’ she thought. Smiling she stopped and stood there for a moment. “So...you have finally come back? Well this is quite the surprise. I hope you didn’t throw that so you could get someone who was not a threat to begin with..’’ She said as she turned and faced the being who threw the halberd. Looking over the halberd she smiled. “By the way...I like the new weapon.”

Zenith Meria - December 7, 2007 01:40 PM (GMT)
He had returned.

The Archangel of Life, Zenith Meria, had returned the world of Arda! The powers of Holiness flowing through his entire form, the golden armour of Lothlómendil spreading across his body, and of course the blade known as Salvations Judgement sheathed down by the young angels left side.

Slowly the door to one of the Inn rooms within Estolad opened, the creaking sound of the hinges flowing through the halls as a rather tall being stepped forth draped in a long white cloak. The tail end of the cloak smoothly ran along the wooden halls of the Inn as the being walked towards the front desk to hand in his key. With each step taken down the rather long set of stairs this cloaked being listened to echoing sound of his armoured feet clashing against the wood. It was only a few moments before he reached the main entrance of the Inn with its exquisite layout, even though most of the things were made of wood it was very clear that whoever created the Inn had amazing talent like nobody else the young being below the cloak had ever seen in his entire life.

Once placing himself at the front desk the one under the cloak placed forward his right and dropped the key to his room, as the Inn Keeper took the key and placed it back on its hook he softly said, “It was nice to have you staying you with us Sir. Good to see the rumours of your death were only that; rumours.” However as the keeper of the Inn had been saying this the one covered from head to toe in the white cloak had vanished from sight. He had infact used the power to teleport out of the Inn and across the streets of Estolad. Continuing to use said ability the young one finally reached the outskirts of the city where a beast by the name of Telsor waited for his arrival, Telsor being an Ancient Steel Dragon whom possessed immense power even for the race of dragons.

Running his hand over the back of the resting dragon a voice finally came from the one under the cloak; “Let us go my friend, to Lómëdor!” Emitting from the mighty dragons slightly opened mouth came a roar while the white-cloaked figure climbed onto his back with ease. Resting both hand at the side of the dragons long neck the cloaked one then said, “Rise Telsor!” With these two words slipping along his lips the dragon spread its huge wings before forcefully beating them against the winds of Arda and taking to the skies above where he felt most at home.

Heading for the city of Lómëdor with great speed the one mounted on the dragon had to keep his left hand on the hood of his cloak in order to keep it up, while his other hand was placed upon the dragon to steady him throughout the journey. It was as the pair drew in closer to Lómëdor, which was now covered by the darkness of night, that a strange feeling come over the young man, as if he could feel some kind of energy coming from the city. Narrowing his deep blue eyes from below his cloak all the young man said was, “Get in closer, something is going on down there and I have a funny feeling she is there.” With the dragon letting out another small roar of compliance it got in closer just like its rider had asked.

Slowing down the beating of his wings Telsor soared over Lómëdor city as his rider scanned the streets below them for activity. As his eyes looked from building to building the young rider final locked onto what he had been searching for, a woman with large angelic wings and a hulking figure of a man were standing on the rooftops of the city as if they were about to engaged in combat. However as the rider looked upon these two beings the man seemed to flee the scene, with a small smirk spreading along his lips the rider quickly said, “Await my call Telsor, I will be back soon.” As the last of these words left his lips the one in white leaped off of the dragons back and began to fall down towards the ground below, the soft night wind gracing him as he fell.

As the form of the white one descended down a Halberd appeared within his right hand, quickly the young cloaked one dropped the Halberd down to the rooftops below him. The weapon pierced into the roof cleanly while the one in the cloak vanished once more. Using his ability to teleport again he appeared right next to the Halberd, which was when his ears were met with a very familiar voice, the voice of an old friend infact. Intently listening to the voice the one under the large white cloak could not help but smile, slowly he raised both of his hands up to the hood of the cloak and pulled it down to reveal his long light brown hair and deep blue eyes.

Turning his form around to face the woman the one known as Zenith Meria smiled. He could not help buy feel joy at seeing one of his closest friends once more, the female half demon called Umbra. Yet still no reply left the lips of Zenith, instead he unclasped his cloak from his neck allowing it to gracefully fall to the ground like silk. With the cloak now gone Zeniths golden armour was clearly seen, he was even holding his helm under his left arm, he also had his main weapon of choice still strapped to his left side as well as his finely crafted shield strapped onto his arm. It would have been clear to most who looked upon him that Zenith was a warrior of good alignment; he had even once been trained by the former Guardian of Holiness in order to become a Paladin. The only other objects on his person were two large silver bangles, one on each of his wrists, as well as a few magical rings worn on selected fingers below his gauntlets. However the most eye-catching thing about Zenith would have to have been the beautiful white wings, which spread out from his back and were graced with the winds of nature.

Slowly parting his lips the Archangel of Life finally spoke to Umbra, his tone pure and full of obvious joy; “It is good to see you again Umbra, and I also see you are wearing some Holy Armour as well as wielding one of the Holy Blades…” A small pause was made by the angel as he nodded towards Umbra before continuing his train of though, “I told you all that time ago that you had a powerful light within you Umbra, it is good to see that you have embraced its power.” A small playful smirk spreading along his lips before the angel said in a more playful tone than before, “So… did you miss me?” Yes, the Archangel of Life had returned to Arda to protect the light within the hearts of others, as well as protect those he deemed as family.

Umbra - December 7, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
The feeling Umbra had was confirmed by the smell of a person very familiar to her, she stood still as someone appeared near the halberd. Silently he undid the clasp on his cloak as he smiled at her. She knew him even before she saw his face as she forced herself to keep an emotionless face. Her blank face twitched at her mouth where she was forcing herself to stop from smiling as she looked at him. ; “It is good to see you again Umbra, and I also see you are wearing some Holy Armour as well as wielding one of the Holy Blades…” The voice said as he walked towards her. She pulled down her hood and crossed her arms; the strain of her will over her emotions was weakening quickly as Zenith nodded to her. “I told you all that time ago that you had a powerful light within you Umbra; it is good to see that you have embraced its power.” He said as she kept her stern look. Now speaking in a more playful tone than previously said the angel smiled at her. so… did you miss me?” he asked as Umbra turned around angrily.

Standing that way for a few minuets, “You actually think that you could go away for months without warning and just come back...” she said angrily then turned and smiled letting her playful act disappear, “and THINK you have to ask me if I missed you?” she asked as she turned around and held her hand out to her old friend. OF COURSE I missed you, angel boy.” She said smiling as the patch on her jacket shined in the moonlight as she smiled brightly at her friend. She could feel her tension from Hanzo subside quickly in the presence of her good friend. She could not wait to hear about her friends’ journeys and tell him of hers. “So what have you been up to? Facing bad guys?” she asked. “Or just wanted to get away for a while?” she winked.

Zenith Meria - January 1, 2008 06:45 PM (GMT)
Zenith narrowed his eyes slightly as Umbra faced him, a look of anger upon her face, seeing this Zenith began to think to himself, “Oh great she is mad… this is not going to be good for me.” However not long after he had finished this thought Umbra had begun to speak. Her words, at first, sounded as though she might have ripped out the soul of Zenith had she had the chance but this soon ended when Umbra went on to say that she did miss Zenith after all. Letting a sigh of heavy relief pass along his lips Zenith then noticed Umbra had her hand held out towards him, with a smile he placed his own hand in hers and listened to the last of what she had been saying. In truth Umbra was somewhat correct on what Zenith had been doing on his time away from those he thought of as his family, he had been fighting those aligned to evil but the result of said battle was on Zenith wished he had been able to avoid really.

Taking in another breath of air the young Archangel then finally spoke towards Umbra once more; “Yeah I guess I have been fighting the bad guys so to speak… I was fighting with Alba but well… let’s just say he wont be bothering anyone anymore ok?” With this said Zenith looked down towards the ground, sure Alba had been evil and wanted nothing more to cause chaos but to Zenith he was still his older brother and that fact would never go away, neither would the guilt that he had to slay a member of his own family in order to strengthen the light of Arda.

Still looking down towards the ground Zenith noticed the armour and blade, which Umbra was using, both being aligned to the forces of Holiness. Seeing this also brought a new smile, all be faint though, across the lips of the angel before he said; “Hmm nice new items you have there Umbra, how about we… oh I don’t know… have that rematch I owe you?” As the last of these words left his lips Zenith looked up towards Umbra with a somewhat devious smile slipping along his lips and his right eye winking towards her form as he waited on a reply.

Umbra - January 2, 2008 05:33 AM (GMT)
Umbra burst out in laughter at the sight of Zeniths’ face. She threw her head back and laughed for a moment as Zenith took her hand and she shook it hardily as the friends reunited. Zenith sighed in relief as she winked and smiled at him. But she could smell something on him, he was troubled by something. “Yeah I guess I have been fighting the bad guys so to speak… I was fighting with Alba but well… let’s just say he wont be bothering anyone anymore ok?” Umbra looked away at this. She had heard much of Alba Meria. She knew that Alba and Zenith were brothers, Alba a few years older than his Angelic sibling, and while Zenith followed the lawful path his brother followed the Chaotic path and well...there was bad blood between them and the two had been fighting for a long time, but now it was over. And she knew what Zenith had meant. Her eyes looked beyond what was going on at the inn and seemed to be even more distant than that and looked beyond time itself into the heart of the world without time. “I am sorry...I know we both wish there was something else that could have been done.” She said softly with great respect and sympathy for her close friend.

She turned to her friend as he was noticing her new armor choices. “Hmm nice new items you have there Umbra, how about we… oh I don’t know… have that rematch I owe you?” He said as a sly smile played upon his lips and he gave her a wink. She gave him her signature half smile that grew into a grin. “Well well...Looks like I can finally give you the pounding I did not give you on the beach.” She said as she let her cloak fly once more behind her as she reached over her shoulder and jumped back a few feet and straddled her legs into a battle stance and placed her right hand out her elbow bent and palm facing down in front of her. “Let’s see if the Archangel of Life can defeat the Angel of the Rising Moon once again.” She said with a smile.

Zenith Meria - January 5, 2008 12:54 PM (GMT)
Zenith could seen the grin slip along Umbra’s lips and instantly he knew she was ready for their rematch, he then heard her say “Well well...Looks like I can finally give you the pounding I did not give you on the beach.” Hearing this caused Zenith to form his own grin, for some reason he loved battling with Umbra, each battle brought forth a new challenge and of course being able to train with a close friend was always fun. Still with the grin along his lips Zenith watched Umbra ready herself into a battle position before she went on to say, “Let’s see if the Archangel of Life can defeat the Angel of the Rising Moon once again.” Nodding in reply Zenith also took a couple of steps backwards before setting the helm of his armour down upon the ground next to his cloak, he was not going to use his full armour this time as the angel wanted Umbra to be able to see the emotion he was bring across for the battle.

In a swift motion Zenith withdrew his Holy Blade from its sheath, Salvations Judgement seemingly glowing in the light from the moon that adorned the nighttime sky. Narrowing his eyes ever so slightly Zenith then said to Umbra; “I have been looking forward to this for a long time now Umbra, however just like when we first met I shall not be holding back and I intend for you to do the same!” Once he had finished speaking the Archangel of Life softly tapped his shield with his blade before bending his knees a little and getting ready for the battle ahead of him. It would be a battle like no other, for when Umbra and Zenith had first met each the young half moon demon had not yet embraced the light hidden within her but now she had. Instead of Zenith fighting someone he deemed evil he was now about to engage in combat against someone he cared for more than he could ever imagine.

With both Umbra and Zenith now set for their rematch all that was left was for the battle to finally begin. Curling his lips into a more devilish grin than before Zenith winked towards Umbra as he said, “Now my dear, show me your light, show me the power you have gained since last, show me the Umbra I would risk my life for!” With this said a moment of silence came from Zenith before he continued on by saying in a somewhat joking tone, “Oh yeah… and ladies first!” The Angel of Rising Moon versus the Archangel of Life was about to escalade to a whole new level.

Umbra - January 29, 2008 06:25 AM (GMT)
Umbra watched as the smile on Zenith's face grew wider and wider. She could hardly stand this excitement. Her mind drifted back to their first meeting. She had been up all night thinking about this that and the other that she did not get any sleep. She had been on the beach at dawn and was watching the sunrise when he found her. At the time they were enemies for obvious reasons for the fact they really did not care much for the opposing persons race. Although she was not evil he accused her of being such and without having very much sleep and her aggitation up a little high she really could not stand his attitude towards her. However that was then, now she faced a good friend.

She watched as Zenith put down his helmet, a variation to his using it in their last match which she did not mind too much. He drew Salvations Judgement, his chosen weapon. She too prefered the holy blade as her main weapon although she had quite the few other weapons up her sleeve. “I have been looking forward to this for a long time now Umbra, however just like when we first met I shall not be holding back and I intend for you to do the same!” he said as the moon shined on his armor giving him a more noble glow in the light. She nodded in agreement. He began giving a little warm-up to keep himself ready for this fight.

Umbra moved back a tad as she watched Zenith begin warming up for the battle between them. She streached her legs a little and drew her holy blade as well however she did not opt for the wings she would usually don, she looked upon her opponent. "It appears the time for our battle has come dear friend." she said as she watched her friends grin grow more sly as the moments passed. “Now my dear, show me your light, show me the power you have gained since last, show me the Umbra I would risk my life for!” he said then in a more light tone spoke again. “Oh yeah… and ladies first!” She smiled at his consideration. Before she had underestimated him, and with his being gone he had to be more powerful. So it was time to fight, he would be difficult. But unlike before where it was dawn, now the night would give even more of a cover, and the buildings added to the advantage both now shared.

She smiled and nodded, "As you wish." she said as she gave a low burst of flight towards him but instead of attacking she dove sideways into the shadows and disappeared as her cloak of Shadows covered her. Moving quietly she now blended in with the darkness making it hard for her to be seen. Running silently across the roof in the shade of the chimneys and shadows. She moved to the oposite side of Zenith and ended up on his right when she fired off two bolts of Magic missle attacks.

Zenith was ready for the battle he was about to take part in, his last battle with Umbra had been so much fun! She was very skilled back then and the angel knew she was going to be far more skilled in combat now. With his eyes still locked onto Umbra’s form Zenith watched her every movement, or at least he was watching her every movement until Umbra suddenly vanished from sight. Gritting his teeth the angel thought to himself, “Ok I need to just focus my mana and I will get through this fine! She may be skilled in the arcane arts but so am I.” With the thought still in mind Zenith tightly closed his eyes and focused on his mana energy to try and located where exactly Umbra was. It was not long until the Archangel of Life could hear the air being ripped apart by something. Instantly opening his eyes Zenith saw two blasts of magic heading into him from the right, they were speeding quickly towards him and he had to act fast in order to avoid them!

Instantly the angel jumped back a couple of steps seeing one of the blasts zoom by him, however the second blast slightly connected with the upper right arm of the angel pushing him to the right a little. With a smirk along his lips Zenith playfully said towards Umbra, “Nice work, your faster than I remember, but unlucky for you so am I!” As the last of these words left the lips of the angel he vanished from sight using his skills in teleporting to appear behind the form of Umbra, which he could see now thanks to his heat vision. With his opponent in sight Zenith smirk ever so slightly while shards of frost gathered around him forming a few large icicles around his form and then without even a single word spoken said shards of ice began to and rip through the air towards Umbra as his new Blizzard spell took effect.
