Title: The lighting of clashing metal
Description: P

Ashley - November 19, 2007 04:50 AM (GMT)
Ashley stood on the beach, the waves brushing her boots, the sea breeze thrashing her brown hair over her shoulders. Her white wings almost glowing in the light of the bright sun. There she stood and waited for the person she summoned to meet her and the appointed place.

Ashley decided it was time she learned to defend herself in battle and fighting so she tried out all the swords till she found the one that worked for her, it was the short sword. She then went on to find armor, she found what she needed, aurmor made of dragon scales and metal, she wore a skirt, a shirt, high boots and gloves, looking protected and intimidating, but at the same time sexy. Her white wings only added to the beauty of her skinny body, her brown hair, and electric green eyes, if one had to guess they would say she was angelic, but little did most know she was indeed half deamon. But that would fuel her ability to fight.

So Ashley asked arround to find the one who could teach her to be an excellent swordsman. It took her a few days, she asked all in londone and the village of estoland before arriving at a conclusion, she had found the man to teach her. So seh sent him a letter which she could still remember because she had taken great care in her wording.

I am writing to ask for your help, I need to be taught the ways of the sword and to be a supioror swordsman, and from what I gather it is you I need, if you would like to take up my offer I will meat you in Earsul Marina. It will be worth your while. You will see me, you cannot miss me and my white wings.
-Lady Ashley Londone

Ashley had givin herslef the title of 'lady' even though she had no 'lord' to rule over her, no husband or master to monitor her every move. The idea was very unappealing. THough As ashely thought about this her revree was broken when she heard a voice behind her.

Aralishia - November 19, 2007 09:12 PM (GMT)
A beacon of shining hope, to be protected by sheild and sword, to fight evil until the bitter end. The seas splash along the beacon, bringing about a slow deteriorization until one day the noble beacon would collapse and crash, to be nothing but white dust. But for such a purpose the beacon was made, to protect the lives of those who dwell in the near cities until it lost its own life. This beacon holds a bitter fate.

The words scribed in ancient elven along the wall of the lighthouse were old and filled with dust, Ara could barely make out the words, but she whispered softly the words crafted in their own song. A dove flew into a window of the winding lighthouse and cooed gently on the ledge. The birdsong was a quite melody, sometimes only the elves could hear it, which was a shame for the humans of the realm who couldn't hear the delicate song. There was a peace about being in the beacon, a comfort of sorts, the beacon was built as a protector of the sea and of the land, though it had a melancholy whisper of its own destruction. Nonetheless, a peace enfolded Ara, picked her up as if in flight, to the windowpane that the dove had sat. Presinga der una tu she calmed the dove in elven, and it continued to sing.

Ara peered into the water, the most almighty of blues, fading into the softest white along the waves. They too sung a melody that none could hear but the spirits, but it is hear in every corner of the realm; it is carried by the wind.

She gazed dreamily along the coast, onto the beach, where an angel awaited some sort of visitor. A friend, a familiar. She, too, knew Ashley the Nymph of Light.

Aralishia had met Ashley some months ago. In the beginning she had no respect, thinking her flakey and inconsitant. Ashley seemed different standing along the beach, awaiting something, she had a fire in her, a determination of sorts that Ara had never seen Ashley behold. Her thoughts and actions flowed from her, having no real purpose or usefulness , she had seemed for long inexperienced, but today she had the mind, but not the build, of a soldier.

This nearly frightened Ara. Not only would a nymph be powerful in battle, but Aralishia herself was leaving the battlefield, for killing was now foreign and without much purpose.

Ashley seemed to wait for some time. Aralishia walked down the stairwell in ehr birdlike grace, gliding down until she reached the beach, and now she quickened her pace. Something about Ashley, facing the water, helpless, bothered her.

I felt it a need to come down here, but the resons of my obligation I cannot extract. Why, Ashley, are you on this lonely beach, and who ,may I ask, are you waiting for?

Ashley - November 19, 2007 10:42 PM (GMT)
((OCC: I felt my nymph char. had no depth, its the same char. but just a different species, she is now an angel half deamon. But same personality and looks, etc.))

I felt it a need to come down here, but the resons of my obligation I cannot extract. Why, Ashley, are you on this lonely beach, and who ,may I ask, are you waiting for?

Ashley turned, her brown hair swept over her shoulders, there she saw a familiar face, one of confidance and commanding. Ara. She had a look of concern in her eyes. One that Ashley had never seen directed at her before. Ashley smiled gently.
She was indeed there to learn combat, she would instill the worrior instict in her so that when the times came that she needed to call upon it, it would be there, the worrior inside her. It was high time she learned how to defend herself, she was in a realm of war.
But there were other reasons, her heart was aching, and she needed something to numb it, she couldnt, wouldnt let herself break down and spill more tears, she had already spilt enough for three lifetimes.

Ashley regained her voice and spoke. "A trainer, I'm going to learn to fight. Thank you for being concerned, I apreciate the thought. And I am not lonely." She said her voice still holding its playfullness but at the same time being stern.

Kiesu Shiinto - November 19, 2007 11:58 PM (GMT)
(I hope this is okay.))

Kiesu had recieved a letter from what he supposed was an angel by the name of Lady Ashley Londone. He had worried of something similar from the small brawl he had gotten into earlier that week in Estolad against a small group of bandits he had no choice but to kill. When he first recieved the letter from the messanger he had worried a bit that it may be somebody with a warning. It was needless to say he was relieved when he read the letter, but was also confused as why an angel would want his training.

He finally reached Ëarsúl Marina with Morphine sitting on his shoulder. He looked out to the water which made their way to the beach and went as far as they could. "Well Morphine do you see--" Kiesu was about to ask his Pixie companion if she saw the angel they were supposed to meet but she was in plain sight. "Never mind, guess she was right, but something's off." Kiesu had sensed something incredibly familiar, as if she may be a half-demon as well. But it was somehting that was very rare.

He shook his head and discarded the thought as he made his way to the, possible, Celestial-Rauko. As he came closer he began to notice a tall elf. He was generally wary of elves, but then again he was wary of public contact with other races. "Excuse me,!" Kiesu shouted as he made sure his hood covering his face. "Would your name be Ashley Londone?" He was now looking at this as a chance to make a new friend and ally. "I believe you requested for me to be your trainer?" At that moment Morphine left Kiesu's shoulder and went over to the elf to get a better look at her.

Aralishia - November 20, 2007 01:11 AM (GMT)
"A trainer, I'm going to learn to fight. Thank you for being concerned, I apreciate the thought. And I am not lonely."

Ara realized that indeed, Ashley was much different. She had no fear staring into Ara's deep blue eyes, something she found comforting in these strange, endless days of thought and storm. She saw , without moving her gaze away from Ashley, a storm coming from the deep of the ocean.

As he hasn't come yet, I would be glad to spar with you and see how much your skill has, hopefully, improved since we have last drawn swords.

Aralishia pulled her sword with a shearing sound as it left her belt.

A prescense, one of spirit, accompanied by some for of vermin or that in the likes, a small creature. She perked her pointed ears and heard him call him Morphine. Ara didn't turn, she was more obliged to continue watching Ashley.

"Excuse me!" The man shouted from the hood of his cape "Would your name be Ashley Londone? I believe you requested for me to be your trainer?"

Ara cursed his bad timing. She was looking forward to sparring with Ashley, though a bit fearful she would once more become bloodthirsty.

She realized now that the man must be short, as he felt the need to shout in order to pass Ara.

No need to shout. Who might you be? she said inquiringly to the man before she would allow the man to confirm Ashley's identity.

Kiesu Shiinto - November 20, 2007 01:31 AM (GMT)
"No need to shout. Who might you be?" The elf asked Kiesu inquiringly. He shook his head as he looked out to the storm for a second before responding. "My name Is Kiesu Shiinto, son of Gabriella Shiinto, the Angel that went corrupt. I am also her slayer." Kiesu's tone had turned darker as he said this, but he scoffed at himself a bit. "But perhaps you are too young to know of her legacy. anyways, Ms. Londone sent me a letter requesting for me to trainer." He peered at the elf a bit from under his hood as he examined her, noting a sword. "And who may you be?" He asked quizzically. The elf did not seem hostile, but many of the people who had hunted him before also appeared that way.

After a moment Kiesu felt his neck get a bit stiff and he turned his attention back to the coast where a storm could be seen. As he turned his head a cracking sound came from his neck and he felt a burst of relief from the annoyance but feared that may be misinterperated as a sign of hostility. He let out a sigh as he continued to crack his neck and loosen up, if he was to train the winged girl he would have to be loosened up. A chorus of pops and cracks came from his body, he didn't think he would be that stiff when he started loosening up and stretching but he felt better.

"Morphine, come here a moment please." Kiesu said as he finished loosening up. Morphine looked back at him from where she was and the flew back to him and sitting on his shoulder. "Morphine, go see if you can find any... Hermit Crabs along the beach." Kiesu whispered to Morphine who did as he asked and went off along the shoreline.

Ashley - November 20, 2007 03:20 AM (GMT)
Ashley saw the events unfold before her, the woman was willing to spar with her to teach her some of her good tricks, it was at that moment that her trainer decided to arrive. Ashley sighed at the aweful timing of it all when they all began to speak at once, thats what happend when timing was off.

"As he hasn't come yet, I would be glad to spar with you and see how much your skill has, hopefully, improved since we have last drawn swords." The woman drew her sword in a stance to fight, at that moment her trainer walked up asking her name.

"But perhaps you are too young to know of her legacy. anyways, Ms. Londone sent me a letter requesting for me to trainer." THe man at first glance seemed protective of himeself.

Only to make things worse it was at that moment that mist came running through the sand to his lady londone. The wolf jumped up with his front paws on her stomach and he licked her arms relentlestly for a few moments before noticing the others standing by her. He then stood by her side very protectivly his blue and green eyes looking hard.

Ashley decided to reveal her identilty she looked at Ara showing it was ok. "I am indeed Lady Londone, Thank you for coming to meet me and showing me the ways of the sword, I thank you. And this is Ara, a good freind of mine." She said motioning a gloved hand to Ara. "This is mist, my wolf famililar." She said motioning to the wolf who only nodded. "And I am only half angel." She said smiling.

Kiesu Shiinto - November 20, 2007 03:48 AM (GMT)
Ashley had admitted she was only half-angel Kiesu chuckleda bit, but quickly stopped and had only a smile on his face. "Yes, I supposed you may have been." Kiesu examined her better, after a moment of examining her he had confirmed she was hallf-demon as well. "Forgive me if I seem rude, but is the other half of your blood demonic?" Kiesu asked her with a polite tone. He did not wish to offend her by pointing out her demonic half, but he also felt as if he must know.

A moment later Morphine returned with two, rather large for her size ,hermit crabs who were tucked away in their shells. Kiesu took the Hermit Crabs from Morphine who was relieved to not be carrying those Crabs any longer. She sat herself upon Kiesu's shoulder who let out a sigh and rolled his eyes. "You were back rather quickly." Kiesu said to Morphine with only a slight smile. He had meant for Morphine to be gone for a while so as not to get injured when the training started. "Now Morphine, I want you to go find... something big. And go ahead and take your time returning, I am not in any hurry." Morphine gave an annoyed looked before fluttering off to go find something to rest on. Kiesu put the hermit crabs down near the water and watched as they went into the water which knocked them around a bit before they dissappeared from view.

Kiesu looked up at the storm cloud the hung overhead, it was thick and black and spanned for miles over the ocean. "Well Ms. Londone, shall we begin our training. First I must see what you can do, so let's spar real quick." Kiesu pulled his shortsword from it's sheath on his back and backed up into a battle position. "Don't hold back." He awaited for her to make the first move. But first he readjusted his hood so it wouldnt be in his way, reavealing his whole face.

Ashley - November 20, 2007 04:00 AM (GMT)
The man, Kiesu examined her up and down and from nearly every angle, Ashley was begining to become annoyed that she was being examined like a peice of art before its to be baught. She folded her arms and it was his next words that startled her. He had indeed guess corecctly that her other half, the half she hated was demoic. Ashley tossed her brown hair. "Yes. I am, it is not rude for you to ask, though I rather like my angelic side better." She said grasping her short sword and taking it out of its sheath.

Ashley then turned to her familiar who was still protecting her and she smiled warmly. "Do not interfere, though you may watch." She let her fingers run through is fur before he went to the sidelines, layed on his stomach at watched.

Ashley took a deep breath, she was not the best, she could maybe defend herself for five minuets before getting stabbed. So, she had never tried to sword fight and duel before. Ashley saw his whole face now, she smiled.

Ashley crouched sliglty and began to circle, then, after she felt comfortable, she lunged forward her sword slightly tilted going for his stomach.

Kiesu Shiinto - November 20, 2007 04:57 AM (GMT)
Kiesu let out a sigh as he closed his eyes. Ashley began to circle for a bit and then charged at him. Kiesu was skilled at fighting what he could not see and recently he had been feeling as if he needed to practice with it more. The blade was aimed for his stomach and he positioned his sword. A split second seemed like forever as he waited for Ashley's blade to get close enough. Once it was he brought his blade around the side and hit her sword with the broad side of his. Her lunge was knocked out of the way and he quickly positioned himself with his sword to her throat about an inch away.

He opened his eyes and shook it in disbeliev as he brought his sword down. "I suppose the first thing to teach you would be technique. The only time you lunge straight at an aenemy is when they are stunned." Kiesu said with a light tone as he scratched the side of his head with his free hand. A bolt of lightning shot across the clouds as it began to pour heavily. "So, let's try technique. Technique and skill are the two major things you need in a fight, skill is what comes when you have fought in many battle before the current one. Technique is the way you position yourself and the way you strike. You may already know this but try to never forget it."

He turned his head up to the dark clouds above and brought the broadside of his sword to his horns, tapping them lightly as he let his sword drop back down. "If you wish we can continue now, or tomorrow. Either way I've got nothing but time. And if I don't do something I'm gonna waste my time by staying out of people's way." Kiesu chuckled a bit as he offered to help Ashley up.

Ashley - November 20, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
Ashley could see mist in the corner of her eye standing as if to protector but he faught to sit back down, he was a very protective familiar.
Ashley lunged for him her blae going for his stomach, but in the last second he manuevered his sword to block her attack to his stomach. He knocked her to the ground with the blow of his defense. She felt her body hit the ground, her hair flying, her sword only bearly staying in her slender fingers. Seconds after falling his sword came close to her neck, she looked up because if she were to look down the sword may hurt her. Ashley's green eyes looked up at her trainer and she smiled.

"I will practice in the rain." She said as she felt heavy drops fall onto the bear skin of her legs. "It will toughen me as a fighter, and only make me better." She said her skin now shinning with wet rain.

Ashley then took his hand in her own and she pulled her body back up and assumed a standing position, her brown hair now black from the rain, her skin glistening with the drops that had fallen from the sky, her armour shinning.

"And now, my technique, show me what I was donig wrong and help me. I can
learn. As for skill, I plan to fight you and win once I'm done with my training."

Ashley smiled a glint in her green eye, though she didnt mean her comment to be
a threat, only a comment of playfullness.

(( OCC. She looks right now exaclty like in the pic. for my char.))

Kiesu Shiinto - November 20, 2007 06:17 AM (GMT)
Kiesu chuckled and sighed as he stretched "Easy, you charged at me recklessley. If we were really fighting you would be dead or captured and would have an extremley tough time getting out considering that you haven't been in the variey of situations I have been in. You also look fairly young, whereas I can be considered a 'relic'" Kiesu joked around a bit and chuckled, he seemed confortable with the title of 'trainer.'

"Okay then, this rain is the perfect chance to practice ground combat with your wings. I have found that even during a rainy day your wings can still help you in combat, one: to confuse your enemy, and two: to keep your enemy back. In a drier setting you can dive down for a devastating attack that few can block against." Kiesu turned from Ashley and began to summon a small Shadow that quickly took form into a small creature with two antennae. "For now you will practice against this. It's a small shadow but it is quite tough since it is derived from my magic. this also will ensure that you do not get unintentionally hurt." Kiesu backed up a couple of feet and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Okay, first you are going to put all the force you can into your wings to try and dissipate it. But don't expect it to go easily, I usually use them to hold down my opponents and keep them locked down for a bit." The shadow began to dance around a bit as Kiesu said that, turning into nothing more than a shadow on the ground and coming back up. "And also, try not to laugh at it, i know it's hard but bear with me."

Ashley - November 20, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Ashley sighed. "Yes, I am young, but that can help me." Ashley smiled, the rain, it was one of the best things, the smell, the touch.

Her trianer began to create a creature of the shadows, it looked mischevoius and annoying. Like an insect that one cant rid themselves of. When Kiesu stood, done talking the creature came at her, clawing, bitting and scratching, with its full force. Ashley was an angel, and a girl so when a creature came at her, it was her instict to hit aimlessly and cover herself with her wings.
Ashley stole a glance at Mist, her wolf familiar. He still lay on his stomach but he was now covering his eyes with his paws. Ashley rolled her eyes, she could nearly tell what he was thinking, then at that moment a deep voice, that of her familiar rang through her head, though he spoke rarely. Good going. Was all he said. Ashley didnt know if she should hit him upside the head or laugh, meanwhile the shadow was kicking the crap out of her.

At this point Ashley was starting to get annoyed, but she had deomic blood that sometimes showed prominent in her personlaity, like when she got mad. Ashley stood straight up in front of the shadow and clutched her sword tightly, her demonic blood running hot in her veins.
Because of this Ashley now lost it though it improved her skill, she used her wing to toss the creature away, she used her sword to cut him deeply in the side she then circled with him and hit him with her sword in almost expert movements until he faded again into the shadows, dead.
"Pesky little thing." She said before turning ot her trainer. She was sure he had noticed her demonic blood act. Mist was now on all fours.

Aralishia - November 20, 2007 10:20 PM (GMT)
Aralishia noticed the trainer, Kiesu, was treating Ashley like an infant. The way he talked, and his arrogance made Ara have a sudden distate for him, and feeling forgotten by an old friend, she decided to leave.

She brought herself up higher, but when she saw Mist andhis lving eyes, she felt more the need to call him to her and stroke his long fur. Wolves were always her favorite of creatures.

Ara realized, however, that Mist was a protective dog, not the type to come readily, tail wagging. Ara had a way with animals, but she decided against calling him to her.

Aralishia saw Kiesu summon the shadow creature and saw her opportunity to take back the position she was much more qualified for. He summoned the creature, watching Ashley battle with sudden intensity, and defeat the creature. Once it was defeated, while Ashley was watching him, Ara made her move. She unsheathed her sword and pressed it, as fast as the lightning, to Kiesu's neck.

Always be prepared she said, readying herself to spar.

Ashley - November 21, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
Ashley stood their feeling very proud of herself, he was indeed treating her like a child, but she let it go for now, when one was learning something most the time they acted like children. But, she would learn, beat him at his own game, thank him for teaching her and smile. Then leave, prepared for what one may face.

Ashley saw Ara look at her wolf, her wolf propably would have bowed his head for her out of respect. But he now began to take a few steps toward Ashley but stopped and stood watching.

Ara then put her blade up to his neck. Ashley smiled broadly, and put her own sword up to the other side of his neck, her deamon blood still slighlty on fire. "She's right, one may never know who is the danger, and who isnt. But in your case, we both are. Sorry." She said

Kiesu Shiinto - November 21, 2007 02:49 AM (GMT)
Kiesu turned his attention to the elf mainly who had first put a sword to his neck. He then shifted his black eyes to Ashley and scoffed. He let a smirk come utop his face as he backed away and bit and ducked down low, following up by kicking off away from his two enemies. "Hmm. What do you two exactly plan on doing with those swords?" Kiesu removed his cloak, revealing his pitch black wings witch strtched out as far as they could. "I have been fighting for my survival since I was young. You must be extremley young if you have not heard of Gabriella Shiinto. She was a powerful angelic knight and she taught me combat skills before she went corrupt and I was forced to end her life."

Kiesu slung his circle around in a circle before stopping it just in front of his shoulder. "But then again, you'll never face the horrors I have." He readied his sword and took a deep breath as the rainfall became harder. "If you really want to fight me, I won't hold back like I did a moment ago!" He slung his sword at the elf and quickly drew his two daggers, one of them with a skull on it. "With these weapons I have survived most of my life, they have never failed me!"

Kiesu kicked off, launching at the elf, but he never did things straightforward. He stopped and twisted, slamming his leg into Ashley and then jumping back a bit as he pounded his wings at the elf. A kind of wickedness came to him that he had kept under tight hold for a century and a wicked smile showed itself on his face. After a quick incantation two more of the shadow creatures came, making their way to Ashley and keeping her still, he was going to dealwith her in a bit.

Ashley - November 21, 2007 03:05 AM (GMT)
Ashley saw him duck below their swords she narrowed her eyes and then looked at the elf showing her she had a plan and if they worked together he would loose or at the least a tie, but she would have to let her deomic blood take over and that was something she almost never did for it was a dangerous feet.
Once Ashley saw his black wings, the demonic blood took over but not permantily just until she knew it would no longer be needed. The black wings......She wanted so much to touch the softness of the feathers. But, she held back.

He then began to fight. Kicking her in the stomach she caught herself on her hands so as she didnt look like she fell. She then used her wings and her legs to kick herself back up. She then saw two of the shadows that she felt were pesky. They made thier way to her. "Bring it." She said then she stole a glance at the elf and winked, showing her she had it under control, her demonic side was there. She slashed violently but skillfully at the shadows, she blocked them from touching her and sliced and stabbed, twirled, it was like an intracate dance that was also deadly.

Ashley treid to make her way to the Ara and Kiesu but the shadows wouldnt let her get any closer.
Mist could no longer hold back, he ran to Ashley's side and groweld pouncing and tearing appart the shadows.

Aralishia - November 21, 2007 05:53 PM (GMT)
Aralishia, realizing that she was to be directly attacked, pulled her sword to the side and slashed the two shadows, dancing around Ashley. She would need her help. Kiesu was clearly eager to battle, and he had the immmediate impression that Ara would be no trouble. He was wrong.

Aralishia Bandaar had recieved her sword at the age of 7, she had practiced with it every day. Upon birth, one of the elf godesses had blessed her with the power of a fighter, and Ara wouldn't let such a blessing go to waste. At birth she was given a simple wooden bow, later replaced by a white elven master shortbow she had recieved for her 12th birthday. At her age now, fighting was natural and she had never been defeated when she engaged.

She pushed the sword to Kiesu's neck, knowing he would defend, and when he did, Ara kicked him hard in the gut. As she pressed her heel hard into his stomach, she saw she had hurt him, and she pulled back, swordin front of her, waiting for him to cast a spell, to fight back, to fly upon her with his demonic might and have an attempt to bash her. Her sword and bow would be all she needed.
