Title: An encouter with gypsys
Description: OPEN!

Ashley - November 17, 2007 05:10 AM (GMT)
Ashley rarley ventured out of the village of estoland, she was only a pesant girl who studied magic, though she was often called beautiful and some even said she had great potential to be powerful. Though she felt falatered she didnt know if it was at all true, but she did her schooling anyway.

So there she was, in the forest near estoland to collect an herb she needed for her studies, she was studing potions at the time and needed an herb found in the forest.
Ashley searched for a while before coming upon the hot pink flower with the red center and black stem. She picked a few of the beautiful yet dangerous flowers and slipped them in a small beaded black bag she had hanging over her shoulder.

When walking further for her own entertainment she saw a camp of somekind, the tents were brigthly colored and she could hear laughing and music. Ashley cautiously walked a couple yards closer for a better look.

"Come, join us, all are welcome." Their standing behind her was a male gypsy, he smiled with a threatening sharp knife in his hand.
Ashley knew the following about gypsys:
a. do not upset them.
b. accept any invitation they offer
c. do not eat anythinhg you havent seen them consume first.
So, as to keep to the rules she smiled shakily. "Uh....sure." She said walking slowiny to the camp, the man took her to a table with an older woman with a deck of cards and verious bottles.
The womans face bore into her own emerald green eyes intently before taking her delecate hands in her own witherd ones. The old woman closed her eyes for a moment of two then began to speak. "You, are very beautiful in several ways, you could be very powerful, but beware the feelings you have burried deep within. We must find your hidden element, though I'm sure I know it already." She smiled micheifisouly.
The old woman took a bottle on the side of her table and told ashley to then add one of the flowers she had picked and yanked out a few strands of hair, the potion glittered, then a great flame exploded and the gypsy ordered her to close her eyes, she could feel imense power, and fire.
The woman she saw was stunning, her body and hair made of flames, her power and intimidation overwhelming. Then she realized it was her. She opened her eyes abrubtly and realized her breathing was not normal. The gypsy smiled.
"Take the potion with you, it will burn all that it splashes, exept for you. It may come in handy. Now. Go!" The old woman ushered her out of the seat and the gypsys ushered her out of thier camp.

When Ashley made it back to the village she didnt know what quite to think, what had happened? How did it happen so fast? What in the world was the whole potion about? Well she supposed eventually she would have to figure it out, but for the time being she slipped it in her black pouch. At that moment she heard another voice, though she feared it may be another gypsy, she turned cautoiusly.

Air Elemental - November 17, 2007 07:22 PM (GMT)
Alexas had just made it too Taurai Woods, and the sun was flickering through the trees like blinds. Inhaling the fresh, grassy air, Alexas sighed. Clean air... that was something you don’t see often. The trees where thick, and the ground covered in padded moss giving her a spring in her step. Alexas had just come from Doriath , which was full of great forests.

She had left behind her home town, Aros, and the fresh clean waters of the River Sirion, hopeing to please her Lord. The forest reminded her of where she came from, the similarity gave her a homely feeling, something she had missed dearly, having just come from Anfauglir Desert, where the blistering heat has scorched her skin and highlighted her blond hair. The head was all new too her, and the lack of greenery made her slightly depressed, but she had a reason to endure it.

Alexas was a Elemental in training. She needed to master all air spells before she could reach her full potential, and please Lord Thingol. Right now.. all she could do was send a slight breeze, nothing which would impress anyone, specially not the Lord. Stopping to admire a pretty looking herb, Alexas heard a disturbance in the tranquil silence.

Peering through the trees, Alexas saw them. A band of Gypsies, guiding away a young, pretty looking girl. Watching the scene with curiosity, Alexas was surprised when the Gypsies released the girl, and began to walk away. Making sure the Gypsies where well and truly gone, Alexas made her way over to the girl, her steps as light as air.

"Hello, I don’t mean to be rude, but are you okay?" The girl turned around curiously. "I saw what happened just then" Alexas went on "... and i was just making sure that they didn't hurt you..." she trailed off, waiting for a reply.

Aralishia - November 18, 2007 12:32 AM (GMT)
Aralishia Bandaar was simply walking through the woods, something new to her, she was used to being on the ground, as if she was hiding from something. She was.

The sky was painted a deep, clear blue. Ara felt as if she was staring into her own eyes. All the pain that often filled her eyes was overwhelming. She wanted this all to end, but it wouldn't. Not until she found her mother, not until then, or until she had revenge. She knew, though, that she wouldn't take revenge, she wouldn't kill when she had that chance, not like they would have killed Ara's mother. Her pain would continue, but even more so if she killed them. Revenge was a childish thing.

Her feet glided across the earth, as if in flight. She knew often that she had a different pace, that of the hunt, like a hungry wolf. But today she felt different, more than aloof, more than anger. She felt a certain foreign peace. Because she knew that there were only a few induviduals to be angry at, and she had no reason to be angry at the world. It was, after all, there first.

She saw giant tents in the distance, it was that of the gypsies, and she thought a visit would be enjoyable, but she decided against it.

When she stumbled across a fairly familiar face, she stopped. Ashley sported a posion in a small glass vile. This, she knew, was the dangerous Vagualar poison, infamous for the crimes it had commited. The burning poison was quite dangerous. Ara realized that the gypsies had this poison and gave it to Ashley. The evil, manipulating people.

The Burning Poison, called Vagualar by the elves (the literal translation of Burning Evil), is perhaps one of the most dangerous commonly found poisons. It is crafted by hand by those who know ancient evil magic. The ingredients can be found in the lava of the volcanoes in the Ered Annon Mountains of Arda.It is leathal, burning the body all around the wound until the person is destroyed. There is one known spell that high wizards can use to stop the burning, but not heal the wounds. For those who do not practice high magic, a trip to the Alulanta Falls of Arda may help stop the burning if the victim stands under the fall or bathes in the natural hot springs. The elves hae worked for years trying to develop a full cure to the burns, and while many work often, they are not garunteed to cure the burn wounds. However, a trip to Yomenïampa will almost garuantee that the burning will stop, as many magic practicers live in the great city of the elves.....

Translated from the elven language. Quoted from Magical Potions and Cures (Pueda mericolse ï cannoses)

Aralishia knew all too well the dangerous powers of this poison. It had been used to burn her shop, and she had a now faint scar on her theigh from it splashing on her. Lucky for Ara, she lived in Yomenïampa, so she contacted a healer and practicer of magic almost immediatly, then visited other healers, as the pain she bore from the burned scar was too powerful for her to continue on her search. Now the scar was faint, and she felt as tough she had been branded by the kidnappers.

Aralishia approached Ashley, and as she approached, she noticed another girl talking to Ashley; but she cared too much about destroying the poison to care about this other girl. Despite her disrespect and distrust to Ashley, because she was familiar, Ara felt the need to protect Ashely and all those who would be hurt by Vagualar.

Ara approached Ashley, then nodded at the other girl, not realizing that she usually ignored those that didn't particularly interest her.

Ashley, you look as if the gypsies have had a go at you. Do not let them phase you, they are simple people who enjoy playing with others' minds. You should, however, be concerned about that poison. I know naught of your knowledge of it, but it is far to dangerous and powerful to be sporting around.

Ashley - November 19, 2007 01:36 AM (GMT)
Ashley turned to see a girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes, looking as if she were the air, light and soft. Obvioulsy she must have seen the display that had taken place before because she had a concerned look on her soft face.

After a moment or two another girl aproached looking very confidant and slighty intimidating. Though strong and protected. SHe smiled at both of them. And nodded gratefully at them both.

"I'm fine, thank you for your concern anyway, they are...different, but belive me, I can handle them as long as they dont try to drink my blood or kill me I'm fine. They just seemed alittle out there. But this is not poison." She said lifting up the vile. Ashley let a drop fall on the ground, the ground was singed for a moment and had orange rings where the drop had fallen. "Its so I can use my hidden element, it will only hurt those it touches and I dont think I'll need to use it anytime soon." She said.
